Abstract

APPLICATION OF THE COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL THROUGH STAR REWARDS TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN GRADE IX THEME BUILDING CURVED SIDED SPACES IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL (SMP NEGERI 3 KOTA BOGOR) Abstract. This research departs from a phenomenon that occurs in class IX of junior high school (SMP Negeri 3 Bogor City) that the low quality of learning Mathematics can have an influence on student learning activities and outcomes. Therefore, a teacher needs to consider learning methods that are appropriate to learning materials so that they can increase student activity and learning outcomes. One of the learning models tested through this research is Cooperative Learning. This study aims to (1) measure student learning activities and outcomes in the material Constructing Curved Sided Spaces Through the Cooperative Learning Model with the Implementation of Star Rewards, (2) knowing the process of increasing student activity and learning outcomes in the Material Constructing Curved Sided Spaces Through the Cooperative Learning Model With The application of the Star Reward, (3) determines the magnitude of the increase in activity and student learning outcomes in the Material of Constructing Curved Side Spaces Through the Cooperative Learning Model with the Application of the Star Reward. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Cooperative Learning Model with the application of star rewards on the Constructed Sides of the Curved Material before applying the learning method has an average value of 54.16. When learning was changed using the Cooperative Learning model with the application of Star Rewards, the average student learning outcomes increased to 74.82 in cycle I and 81.90 in cycle II. It can be concluded that the use of the Cooperative Learning model with the application of star rewards used by teachers can increase the activity and learning outcomes of class IX students of SMP Negeri 3 Kota, therefore the researcher suggests that the application of learning methods needs to be socialized and used in learning Mathematics in schools within the Department Bogor City Education.

Abstract

EFFORTS TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES THROUGH THE DRILL LEARNING METHOD ABOUT VOLLEYBALL GAMES IN CLASS IV ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS (SD NEGERI BUBULAK 1)This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students in Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) lessons about volleyball games through drill models in class IV B, to find out the process of increasing student learning outcomes in PJOK subjects about ball games volleyball through the drill model in class IV B semester 2 of elementary school. The results of this study indicate that the drill learning method can be a fun variation of learning for students so that it is proven to improve student learning outcomes. Before using the drill learning method, the learning outcomes of students only reached an average score of 74.53 or 40% of all students, then there was an increase after using the drill method to 77.40 or 75% in cycle 1 and 81.40 or 100 % in cycle 2 with a minimum completeness criterion of 75, and the results of observations of student activity have increased in every aspect observed. Likewise, the observed value of teacher activity increased from an average value of 47 (87%) in cycle 1 to 52 (96%) in cycle 2 of the possible total average value to be achieved of 54 (100%). The conclusion is that the use of the drill learning method adapted to the learning material can create a pleasant learning situation so that there is an increase in student learning outcomes. Therefore, the researchers suggested that the use of the drill learning method be socialized and used as an alternative in PJOK learning on volleyball game material in schools within the Bogor City Education Office.

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of individual counseling to overcome behavioral problems, describe the improvement of the process in overcoming learning behavior problems, measure the magnitude of the increase in the process of overcoming students' learning behavior problems by applying individual counseling in class VII Junior High School. The method used is action research. The research is carried out in two cycles, the second cycle is very dependent on the impact or results of giving actions in the first cycle. The results of the reflection in the first cycle revealed deficiencies and were followed up and included in the planning of the second cycle. The Guidance and Counseling Action Research design used was the Kemmis Mc. Taggart. The results of the study show that the implementation of guidance and counseling with an individual counseling approach can overcome the problems of learning behavior of students in class VII Junior High School. There is an increase in the ability of students in an effort to overcome learning behavior problems and is supported by the active involvement of students in the implementation of individual counseling. The magnitude of the increase in efforts to overcome the problems of student learning behavior can be seen from the lowest score in the pre-cycle, which was 38, increasing to 65 in the first cycle and 85 in the second cycle. In the pre-cycle nothing was completed in overcoming the problem of learning behavior, then in the first cycle it increased to 58.33% or 7 students whose scores were above the minimum score then in the second cycle it became 100.00% or 12 students whose scores were above minimum score.
