Abstract

This study uses a quantitative method with a causal approach. while the respondents are fourth grade students of SD Negeri Leuwiliang 04 as many as 45 students. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of the study show that there is an influence between the Independent Learning of Students (X) on Mathematics Learning Outcomes in the Flat Shape Material (Y) statistically proven by the results of the significance test and regression with the regression equation = - 9.60 + (0.99X). So it means that for every one unit increase in the learning independence variable, the learning outcomes of students will also increase by 0.99 units. The strength between the learning independence of students (X) on the learning outcomes of mathematics in the flat shape material (Y) is evidenced by the correlation coefficient of (rxy) 0.98 with a coefficient of determination of 96.04%. This has shown that the increase and decrease in mathematics learning outcomes is influenced by the level of learning independence of 96.04% while 3.96% comes from other factors. And the results of hypothesis testing H0 are rejected and Ha is accepted because tcount 5,436 ttable 1,645. Based on the results of data processing and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a fairly large positive influence between students' learning independence on mathematics learning outcomes in flat shape material. In other words, the greater the level of learning independence of students, the higher the learning outcomes of mathematics, and vice versa

Abstract

IMPROVING THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF THE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENTS LEARNING MODEL ON THE HUMAN REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM MATERIALThis research departs from the phenomenon that occurs in the classroom that the low understanding and learning outcomes of students in learning Natural Sciences about the Human Reproductive System. Therefore, a teacher needs to consider learning strategies so that they can improve student learning outcomes. The research was carried out at Junior High School (SMP Negeri 8 Kota Bogor) and aimed (1) to determine the use of the Teams games tournaments learning model to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects regarding the Human Reproductive System (2) to describe the process of improving student learning outcomes in science subjects about systems Human Reproduction before and after using the Teams games tournaments model, (3) To measure the magnitude of the increase in student learning outcomes in science subjects about Human Reproductive Systems after using the Teams games tournaments model. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Teams games tournaments learning model can be a fun variation of learning for students so that it is proven to improve student learning outcomes. Before the implementation of the Teams games tournaments learning model, student learning outcomes only reached an average value of 70, then there was an increase after the implementation of the Teams games tournaments learning model to 77 in cycle 1 and 86 in cycle 2. From the description above, the researcher concluded that the application of the Teams games tournaments learning model adapted to learning materials can create a pleasant learning situation so that there is an increase in student learning outcomes. Therefore, researchers suggest that the application of the Teams games tournaments learning model be socialized and used as an alternative in science learning in schools within the Bogor City Education Office.

Abstract

IMPROVING STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN CLASS 11 FASHION DESIGN FOR VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS (SMK NEGERI 3 KOTA BOGOR) THROUGH A PROJECT BASED LEARNING MODEL ON SKIRT DESIGN ACCORDING TO THE COLLAGE CONCEPTThe purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes regarding Skirt Design material according to the Collage Concept of the Fashion Design subject in class 11 Fashion Design-2 Vocational High Schools through the use of the Project Based Learning Model. The research subjects were students in class 11 Fashion Design-2 consisting of 34 female students. The method used is a class action research method consisting of two cycles. In the first cycle, learning is carried out using the Project Based Learning Model, while in the second cycle, it uses an enhanced Project Based Learning Model. In each cycle consists of four stages of research namely planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The research data were analyzed using a comparative descriptive followed by reflection. Comparative descriptive is done by comparing the initial condition data, cycle 1 and cycle 2, both for learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that: First, the use of the Project Based Learning Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes about Skirt Design material according to the Collage Concept in the Fashion Design subject in class XI Dressmaking-2 Vocational High School. It is proven that the percentage of student learning outcomes has increased from the initial condition the average value of daily tests was 66.18 in cycle I to 75.21 and in cycle II to 81.32 or in the final condition there was an increase of 22.88% from the initial condition. It is proven that the percentage of students' learning completeness increased from the initial conditions of 73.53% in cycle I and to 91.18% in cycle II or in the final conditions an increase of 24.00% from the initial conditions.

IMPROVING STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE SUBJECTS ON NEWS TEXTS THROUGH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODELS IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLSThe purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes about news text material in Indonesian language subjects in class VIII.B of State Junior High Schools through the use of Problem Based Learning Models. The method used is a classroom action research method which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages of research, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The research data were analyzed using comparative descriptive followed by reflection. Comparative descriptive is done by comparing the initial condition data, cycle 1 and cycle 2, both for learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that: First, the use of Problem Based Learning Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes about news text material in Indonesian subjects. It is proven that the percentage of student learning outcomes has increased from the initial condition the average daily test score of 69.39 in the first cycle to 74.24 and in the second cycle to 81.06, or in the final condition it increased by 16.8% from the second cycle. beginning. It is proven that the percentage of students' learning mastery increased from the initial condition of 39.39% in the first cycle to 78.79% in the second cycle or in the final condition, it increased by 100% from the initial condition.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of improving employee discipline, work climate and work motivation on improving the performance of employees of regional device organizations in Bogor Regency. The research population is the executor in the Human Resources Staffing and Development Agency and the Bogor Regency Regional Secretariat as many as 290 people with a sample size of 169 people calculated using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5%. Data collection for each variable studied using questionnaires with a rating scale. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The data analysis in this study used the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS SEM) method. The results showed: (a) Employee discipline variables have a positive and significant influence on motivational variables. (b) Employee discipline variables have a positive and significant influence on performance variables. (c) Work climate variables have a positive and significant influence on motivational variables. (d) Work climate variables have a positive and insignificant influence on performance variables. (e) Motivational variables have a positive and significant influence on performance variables. (f) The magnitude of the coefficient of parameters for discipline variables on performance through motivation is 0.054 which means there is a positive indirect influence of discipline on performance through motivation. Or it can be interpreted that the higher the value of discipline, the performance through motivation will increase as well. (g) The magnitude of the coefficient of parameters for the working climate variable on performance through motivation is 0.278 which means there is a positive indirect influence of discipline on performance through motivation. Or it can be interpreted that the higher the value of the work climate, the performance through motivation will increase as well.

Abstract

Efforts to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Understanding the Intrinsic Elements of Short Stories Through the Jigsaw Method in Bogor Junior High School Students This study aims to identify and describe the increase in Literature Learning Outcomes in Understanding the Intrinsic Elements of Short Stories through the Jigsaw Method for Junior High School Students. The background problem is that students' ability to understand short stories is still not good. This problem can be reduced by using the Jigsaw method. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in two cycles by taking the setting at Junior High School Students (SMP Negeri 1) Bogor City class IX-E with a total of 37 students as a sample. The sample was given a test instrument listening to the reading of short stories in order to obtain an intrinsic element appreciation test score. The conclusion of this study is the average ability of students in Pre-Cycle 57. In Cycle I the level of achievement was still low with an average score of 71 and the number of students who completed 22 people so that the percentage of completeness only reached 71%. In Cycle II it was classified as good with an average score of 82 and the number of students who completed reached 28 people so that the percentage of completeness reached 87%. This proves that there is an increase in the ability to understand the intrinsic elements of short stories through the Jigsaw method. This means that the Jigsaw method is relatively effective in an effort to improve the ability to understand the intrinsic elements of short stories that are read to class IX-F students of Junior High School Students (SMP Negeri 1) Bogor City.

Abstract

IMPROVING LEARNING OUTCOMES OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS USING PICTURE AND PICTURE LEARNING MODELS ON MATERIALS IDENTIFYING GEOGRAPHICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF INDONESIA AS AN ARCHIPELAGIC/MARITIME AND AGRARIAN COUNTRYAbstract. This research departs from the phenomena that occur in the classroom that the students' understanding and learning outcomes are low on the sub-themes of humans and the environment about identifying the geographical characteristics of Indonesia as an archipelagic/maritime and agrarian country. Therefore, a teacher needs to consider learning strategies so that they can improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the Picture and Picture learning model can improve student learning outcomes, to describe the process of improving student learning outcomes, to measure the magnitude of the increase in student learning outcomes in the subject matter of Social Sciences sub-theme of humans and the environment about identifying the geographical characteristics of Indonesia as an archipelagic country/maritime and agriculture in grade V Elementary School. The results of this study indicate that using the Picture and Picture learning model can be a fun variation of learning for students so that it is proven to improve student learning outcomes. Before using the Picture and Picture learning model, student learning outcomes only reached an average value of 63.68 then there was an increase after using the Picture and Picture learning model to 72.35 in cycle 1 and 81.18 in cycle 2. It can be concluded that the use of the learning model Picture and Picture fun so that there is an increase in student learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended that the use of the Picture and Picture learning model be socialized and used as an alternative in learning Social Sciences in schools in the Bogor City Education environment.

Abstract

IMPROVING THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH A SCIENTIFIC LEARNING APPROACH IN CRAFT SUBJECTSThe purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes regarding the Processing of Animal Husbandry and Fishery Products in Craft subjects through the use of a Scientific Learning Approach. This research was conducted in a junior high school (SMP Negeri 19 Bogor City) with the research subjects being students of class IX.F. The method used is a classroom action research method which consists of two cycles. In the first cycle, the learning is carried out using the Scientific Learning Approach, while in the second cycle, the Scientific Learning Approach has been refined. Each cycle consists of four stages of research, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The research data were analyzed using comparative descriptive followed by reflection. Comparative descriptive is done by comparing the initial condition data, cycle 1 and cycle 2, both for learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that: First, the use of the Scientific Learning Approach can improve student learning outcomes about the Processing of Foodstuffs from Animal Husbandry and Fisheries in Craft subjects. It is proven that the percentage of student learning outcomes has increased from the initial condition the average daily test score of 63.69 in the first cycle to 72.88 and in the second cycle to 78.16 or in the final condition it increased by 22.7% from the initial condition. . It is proven that the percentage of student learning mastery increases from the initial condition of 64.52% in the first cycle and becomes 93.55% in the second cycle or in the final condition, an increase of 44.99% from the initial condition.

Abstract

IMPROVING LEARNING OUTCOMES OF GRADE 8 JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL (SMP NEGERI 19 BOGOR) STUDENTS THROUGH THE USE OF PhET VIRTUAL SIMULATION MEDIA IN VIBRATION SUBJECT MATTER OF NATURAL SCIENCE LESSONSThe purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes regarding the subject matter of Vibration of Science in class VIII of SMP Negeri 19 Bogor City Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year through the use of PhET Virtual Simulation Media. The method used is a class action research method consisting of two cycles. In the first cycle, learning was carried out using the PhET Virtual Simulation Media, while in the second cycle, the enhanced PhET Virtual Simulation Media was used. In each cycle consists of four stages of research namely planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The research data were analyzed using a comparative descriptive followed by reflection. Comparative descriptive is done by comparing the initial condition data, cycle 1 and cycle 2, both for learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that: First, the use of PhET Virtual Simulation Media can improve student learning outcomes about Vibration material in science subjects in class VIII. It is proven that the percentage of student learning outcomes has increased from the initial condition the average daily test score was 68.91 in cycle I to 75.37 and in cycle II to 82.29 or in the final condition it increased by 19.42% from the initial condition. It is proven that the percentage of students' learning completeness increased from the initial condition of 61.11% in cycle I to 91.67% in cycle II or in the final condition it increased by 50.01% from the initial condition.

Abstract

Supervision in schools is carried out by the principal who acts as a supervisor, so he must be able to carry out various supervision and control to improve teacher performance. Supervision and control are preventive measures to prevent teachers from making deviations and to be more careful in carrying out their work as educators. Therefore, this study revealed the supervision activities carried out by the Principal of SDN 14 Sungai Sirah, Sutera Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan District. The results of this study are: 1). The focus of supervision activities carried out by the principal can be identified in two ways, namely; supervision activities involving the administration of teachers and teaching and learning activities, 2). Supervision activities are very helpful for teachers in solving educational problems faced by teachers when doing learning, and can provide motivation for teachers to always improve their knowledge to become professional teachers in carrying out learning, 3). Barriers to school principals in supervision are overlapping activities and limited operational funds.
