Abstract

This service aims to provide training for MI teachers in Lhokseumawe City on learning media as an effort to increase creativity. This training uses the method of lectures, questions and answers and practicums. With a division of 8 JP with a duration of 50 minutes per JP. The results of this service are expected to provide contributions and suggestions for teachers in choosing creative teaching media that can be applied in the classroom, then this training is expected to contribute to the world of education, especially madrasah.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk kolaborasi antara Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) Kabupaten Jember bersama dengan Perguruan Tinggi Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember bertujuan untuk, pertama; peningkatan kualitas tata kelola zakat yang harus dilakukan oleh BAZNAS Kabupaten Jember untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat, kedua untuk meningkatkan integritas para karyawan di BAZNAS Kabupaten Jember agar menjadi lembaga yang kredibel, ketiga; untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang peran BAZNAS Jember sebagai lembaga yang kredibel dalam pengelolaan zakat. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode community development, yaitu sebuah metode dengan pelatihan peningkatan wawasan, skill serta pemberdayaan kepada masyarakat yang dalam hal ini menjadi binaan dari BAZNAS Jember. Sedangkan, pelatihan skill dan peningkatan wawasan diberikan kepada pengelola dan karyawan BAZNAS Kabupaten Jember agar menjadi lembaga yang berintegritas tinggi. Pengabdian kolaboratif ini menghasilkan tiga hal, yaitu pertama;  tata kelola kelembagaan dilakukan secara continue berkala untuk mewujudkan good zakat governance, mulai dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi dengan melakukan perbaikan manajerial, kedua, integritas karyawan ditingkatkan dengan pelatihan-pelatihan serta up grading dengan menghadirkan para pakar tentang zakat dari BAZNAS Pusat serta dari UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember dengan hasil komitmen pengelolaan zakat yang semakin baik terutama dalam hal pencatatan dan pendistribusian, ketiga; melakukan road show edukasi pentingnya berzakat melalui lembaga zakat yang resmi yaitu BAZNAS, serta melakukan pemberdayaan zakat dengan mendirikan kampung-kampung zakat di Kabupaten Jember.

Abstract

This community service aims to equip teachers / teachers with knowledge about the study of women, science and household as well as other things about women. This service was carried out for the teachers of SDIT Iskandar Muda Yayasan Bumi Serambi Mekkah (YBSM) Pekanbaru. After this debriefing is carried out, it is hoped that the teachers will have in-depth knowledge about the success and role of a woman in life, both as a career woman and as a housewife who chooses to stay at home. Before carrying out the service, the resource persons first coordinated with the school to find out the situation in the field before going directly to the field. This activity is carried out with the opening stages, material delivery, question and answer and closing.

Abstract

Mathematics is a part of science and takes an important part in the life and improvement of science, information and innovation. The purpose of this service is to explain the use of Dakota learning media (Mathematics Dakon) to attract students' interest in learning and also have fun in learning mathematics, especially on the KPK (Least Alliance Multiples) and FPB (Largest Fellowship Factor) materials. This community service was carried out at SD Negeri 83 Aruhu, Lamatti Riaja Village, Bulupoddo District. From February 23, 2022 to February 26, 2022, Dakota game-based learning activities are carried out in the classroom, with a total of 38 elementary school students, followed by students in grades IV, V and VI. There are three stages, namely the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. that 86% of students at SD Negeri 83 Aruhu understand the subject matter taught through dakon games and 94% of students enjoy learning mathematics the learning process using mathematics dakon goes smoothly and students are interested in using mathematics dakon media.

Abstract

Dish soap is generally very used in everyday life, especially housewives. One of the natural ingredients that can be used in the manufacture of dish soap is Belimbing Wuluh. Belimbing Wuluh (Averrhoa Bilimbi) extract contains flavonoids, saponins and alkaloids, tannins, glucosides, sulfur, oxalic acid, phenol, volatile oil, pectin, calcium oxalate, formic acid, peroxidase and phenol. The content of the extract in starfruit contains triterponoid and flovanoid compound groups consisting of the presence of O-H, C=O, C=C, C-H, and C-OH groups. Belimbing Wuluh extract contains flovanoid which acts as an antioxidant and antibacterial. Therefore, in this study, dish soap was made from belimbing wuluh extract. In this study, researchers made 2 (two) products at once, in which belimbing wuluh extract was used as dishwashing soap, and residue from belimbing wuluh was used as a cooking spice (sunti acid). Sunti acid is a kind of pickle or cooking spice which is dried until it becomes brownish in color, and given salt, this salting process aims to draw water out in the starfruit tissue so that sunti acid can last longer. Sunti acid is used as a cooking ingredient, especially for Aceh cuisine, which is the hallmark of the cuisine of the Acehnese peopleDish soap is generally very used in everyday life, especially housewives. Abstract

Life in society has the potential for conflict if moderation in religion is not developed. In 1998, the conflict between the TNI and GAM began in the Bintang Pepara village area. In 2005 the people returned to the Bintang Pepara village. The people of Bintang Pepara village need to be given knowledge about religion, especially religious moderation because the village is located in remote areas. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding to the public about religious moderation. The method used in this service program is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method. Based on the results of community service in Bintang Pepara village, there are five ways to apply the concept of religious moderation in daily life, including: 1) Respecting differences, 2) Increasing understanding, 3) Practicing religious values, 4) Creating dialogue, and 5 ) Maintain a calm demeanor and not be easily provoked.

Abstract

The process of writing Tambo Nagari Pakan Rabaa Timur, which contains information on the history of the nagari, is a reflection of a complex society, including episodes of the journey of conflict that have garnered their memories for some time. In an effort to reconcile the turbulent past, the model of reconciling historical writing can be used as an alternative approach. This paper is a reflection model of the implementation of participatory activities in the preparation of Tambo Nagari Pakan Rabaa Timur, a work of local history using focus group discussion methods, content analysis and in-depth interviews. The results show that community involvement in the drafting process has succeeded in presenting local perspectives by using balanced narratives, inclusive approaches, and in-depth understanding sourced from Minangkabau local wisdom. The model of reconciling historical writing, as seen in Tambo Nagari Pakan Rabaa Timur, can be considered as a development of contemporary Minangkabau historiography.

Abstract

Singah Mulo is a village located in Putri Betung District, Gayo Lues Regency, Aceh Province. Singah Mulo Village is located on the Blang Kejeren-Kutacane road and is a strategic area and satellite that connects the provinces of Aceh and North Sumatra. Kampung Singah Mulo has economic potential and natural tourism which is the flagship of Putri Betong District, Gayo Lues Regency so that internal and external community empowerment needs to be carried out. This service method is carried out through Participatory Action Research where the community becomes a key actor in empowering the community's economy and developing tourism in Kampung Singah Mulo. The result of this service is that the people of Kampung Singah Mulo are assisted in making various snacks/snacks that are characteristic of Kampung Singah Mulo and assisting the community in managing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). Then, community assistance in tourism development in the form of Kampung Singah Mulo hot springs in the form of management of tourist sites and digital tourism promotion.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is an issue that is often discussed today. This behavior is often found in environments that are not supposed to be, such as in the school and family environment. Bullying behavior is an aggressive or violent action that can lead to conflict between the perpetrator and the victim. This community service activity is an act of outreach that aims to provide education and to prevent the students so they don't commit acts of bullying within the school environment or outside the school environment. The method used in this activity is in the form of giving material in the form of lectures and questions and answers. The results of socialization activities show that students are very motivated in the activity process and can understand the material and information conveyed by the speakers. The implication of this activity is that students are aware of the negative impact of bullying behavior and are responsible for efforts to prevent this behavior in their daily environment.

Abstract

Self-understanding is a cognitive representation of adolescents regarding self-concept. Self-understanding is very important, because it involves how a person or student perceives himself positively or negatively, good or bad. Sharing sessions are activities that function as a forum for providing information and education. The purpose of this service is to increase students' understanding in optimizing their activities at school and outside of school. The method used is using the service learning technique. The results of this sharing session showed that students' understanding/knowledge related to the importance of understanding themselves and also seen from the increasing enthusiasm of students to take part in several activities carried out at school.
