Abstract

Artikel ini dimaksudkan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi kelas X SMK Nurul Islam Cianjur dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran mind mapping. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksprimen, yaitu Pretest Posttest Control Group. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan yaitu berjumlah 40 peserta didik  untuk kelas kontrol dan sedangkan kelas eksprimen berjumlah 41 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu lembar tes dan angket atau kuesioner. Hasil pembelajaran, diketahui nilai rata-rata tes awal kelas eksprimen 50,15 dan nilai rata-rata tes akhir 85,12. Adapun hasil perhitungan dengan  uji-t  diketahui yaitu sig.2 tailed nilai thitung> ttebel 0,000 < 0,005. Dengan demikian, terdapat  perbedaan yang cukup signifikan antara kemampuan peserta didik  dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran mind mapping dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran mind mapping. Sikap peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran mind mapping.Katakunci: eksposisi, mind mapping, menulisThis article is intended to describe class X’s writing ability of exposition text at Nurul Islam Vocational School Cianjur by using  mind mapping learning model. The method used was experimental with Pretest Posttest Control Group. The research sample was 40 students for the control class and 41 students for the experimental class. The instruments used in this study were test and questionnaires. As learning result, it is known that the average score of initial test of experimental class was 50.15 and the average score of final test was 85.12. The result of calculation with t-test is sig.2 tailed tcount> t table 0,000 <0.005. Thus, there is a significant difference between the ability of students in learning to write exposition text before using the mind mapping learning model and after using the mind mapping learning model. The attitude of students towards learning to write exposition text using mind mapping learning models is mostly positive.Keywords: exposition, mind mapping, writting

Abstract

Artikel ini akan mengungkapkan unsur budaya serta upaya pelestarian budaya yang dilakukan tokoh dalam novel "Swarna Alor" oleh Dyah Prameswarie. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini meliputi kutipan terkait unsur budaya yang berupa kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat. Sumber data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari dua sumber yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan dua teknik yaitu teknik baca dan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya (1) unsur budaya sistem religi berupa anismisme dan dinamisme, (2) unsur budaya sistem pengetahuan, menciptakan bahan pewarna alami, (3) unsur budaya sistem mata pencaharian hidup berupa menenun dan menjual, (4) unsur budaya sistem kesenian berupa tari lego-lego dan (5) hubungan timbal balik antara budaya dengan manusia, berupa peningkatan ekonomi manusia.Katakunci: budaya, mata pencaharian, pengetahuan, religi Abstract:This paper is going to reveal cultural aspect and cultural preservation efforts made by the character in the novel “Swarna Alor” by Dyah Prameswarie. This is a qualitative research with descriptive approach. The data in this study include cultural elements in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. Sources of data in the study were obtained from two sources: primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques in this study used two techniques: reading and note taking techniques. The results showed (1) culture elements of religious system of animism and dynamism, (2) culture elements of knowledge system, creating natural dyes, (3) culture elements of livelihood systems in the form of weaving and trading, (4) cultural elements of the arts system in the form of lego-lego dance and (5) the reciprocal relationship between culture and humans, in the form of the human’s economy improvement.Keywords: culture, livelihood, knowledge, religion

Abstract

Artikel ini akan mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan berbahasa pada tataran morfologi dalam iklan produk pangan di televisi selama Ramadan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode simak,  teknik dasar sadap, yang dilanjutkan dengan teknik lanjut catat. Data dianalis menggunakan metode padan referensial dengan alat penentu berupa referen dan dilanjutkan dengan teknik dasar pilah unsur penentu dan teknnik lanjut hubung banding sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 21 iklan produk pangan di televisi selama Ramadan yang mengandung kesalahan berbahasa pada tataran morfologi dengan total 52 kesalahan. Kesalahan berbahasa tersebut meliputi kesalahan pada pembubuhan afiksasi sejumlah 47 kesalahan yang mencakup penghilangan afiksasi dan penggunaan afiksasi yang tidak tepat. Sementara itu, kesalahan pada penggantian morf ditemukan sejumlah 5 kesalahan, yakni berupa penyingkatan morf. Dengan penelitian ini, peneliti berharap para pembuat iklan dan produsen lebih memerhatikan kembali penggunaan bahasa dalam iklannya.Katakunci: iklan; kesalahan; morfologi; pangan; produk  Abstract:This article will describe language errors at the morphological level in food product advertisements on television during Ramadan. The research was conducted using listening, recording, and note-taking technique. The data were analyzed using the referential equivalent method with a determining tool in the form of a reference and continued with the basic technique of categorizing the determining elements and advanced technique of equal comparison. The results show that there were 21 advertisements for food products on television during Ramadan which contained language errors at the morphological level with a total of 52 errors. The language errors include errors in affixing affixes of 47 errors which include omitting affixes and using inappropriate affixes. Meanwhile, there were 5 errors in the replacement of morphs, in the form of morphing abbreviations. With this research, it is expected that advertisers and producers pay more attention to the use of language in their advertisements.Keywords: advertising; error; morphology; food; product

Abstract

This article describes the implementation of the simulation method of leadership values of Prince Pemanah Rasa in Sasakala Prabu Siliwangi by Muhammad Fajar Laksana, judging by the effectiveness of the application of methods and the students' ability in analyzing the value of leadership. The method used in this research is descriptive method with research object of class VIII E students as much as 35 people. The result of the research shows that the students of class VIII E MTs Islamiyah Sayang consider the effective simulation method used in the learning of folklore with the percentage of 97,1%. The students' ability in analyzing the leadership value of Prince Pemanah Rasa figure, 12 students (34,2%) got 80 (good category), 9 students (25,8%) got 70 (enough category), 7 students (20%) scored 60 (moderate category), and 3 students (8.6%) got the value of 40 (less category). It shows that students' ability in analyzing the leadership value of Prince Pemanah Rasa figure is enough, seen from percentage of average ability which reach 66.6%.Keywords: simulation, sasakala prabu siliwangi, leadership value

Abstract

This article discusses students' ability in using word choices (diction) on the poetry of students of SMP Negeri 3 Cianjur. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The techniques used are test and questionnaire. The population of the study is 25 students of class VIII-4. This study concludes that the students’diction ability is 78 (it can be categorized as good). In terms of diction aspects,  formal aspect has very good criteria, synonymy has good criteria, and polysemy has sufficient criteria. Obstacles experienced by students in writing poetry that includes diction aspect and its problem solving.Keywords: diction, formal aspect, polysemy, synonymy.

Abstract

Smartphone merupakan salah satu media teknologi informasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran berbicara. Salah satu pemanfaatan smartphone dalam pembelajaran berbicara, adalah untuk merekam aktivitas berbicara peserta didik. Hasil rekaman dapat unggah ke laman tertentu untuk dijadikan sebagai contoh, model, wujud hasil pembelajaran, dan lain-lain.  Hasil rekaman juga dapat ditayangkan di kelas untuk evaluasi, baik oleh guru maupun sejawat. Evaluasi mencakup  aspek kebahasaan, isi, dan penampilan. Selanjutnya,  hasil evaluasi dijadikan sebagai bahan perbaikan bagi peserta didik. Kegiatan saling mencermati, mengkritisi, menilai sesama peserta didik, merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran aktif.Smartphone is an information technology media that can be used in learning to speak. One of the uses of smartphones in learning to speak is to record the speaking activities of students. Recordings can be uploaded to certain page to serve as examples, models, manifestations of learning outcomes, and others. Recordings can also be displayed in class for evaluation, both by the teacher and colleagues. The evaluation includes aspects of language, content, and performance. Furthermore, the results of the evaluation serve as material for improvement for students. Abstract

Artikel ini mendiskusikan kritik  sosial dalam novel “Anak-Anak Tukang” karya Baby Ahnan. Novel itu mengisahkan hiruk piruk kehidupan lingkungan sosial yang di dalamnya mengandung kritik sosial seperti soal pemerataan pembangunan pendidikan. Sementara pengertian kritik pada dasarnya merupakan wujud sambutan pembaca yang menghakimi serta menilai karya sastra guna memberi penilaian dan memberi keputusan baik dan buruk tidaknya suatu karya satra yang telah dibaca oleh kritikus. Metode yang digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan fisik yang terjadi di daerah seperti Flores ternyata tidak menjamin terjadinya peningkatan kesejatraan masyarakat. Kemudian, pemanfaatan tenaga kerja lokal di sektor pembangunan menjadi tidak optimal karena pendidikan mereka rendah sebagai akibat pendidikan yang tidak merata.Katakunci: kritik, sosial, lingkungan, pendidikan Abstract:This article discusses social criticism in Baby Ahnan's novel “Anak-Anak Tukang”. The novel tells a story of the hustle and bustle of social life which contains social criticism, such as the issue of equality of education. Meanwhile, the definition of criticism is basically a form of response from readers who judge and judge literary works in order to give judgments and make decisions about whether or not a literary work has been read by critics. The method used was descriptive qualitative method and sociological literary approach. The results show that physical infrastructure development in areas such as Flores did not guarantee an improvement in the welfare of the community. Then, the utilization of local labor in the development sector is not optimal because their education is low as a result of unequal education.Keywords: criticism,  education, environmental, social

Abstract

Artikel ini akan mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menulis puisi masa pandemic covid 19 dengan memanfaatkan “Google Classroom” di SMA Negeri 1 Sine, Kabupaten Ngawi. Objek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas X sebanyak 60 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran menulis puisi masa pandemic Covid 19 di SMA Negeri 1 Sine, Kabupaten Ngawi menggunakan pembelajaran daring dengan memanfaatkan media google classroom. Pemanfaatan Google classroom dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada masa pandemic Covid-19  di SMA Negeri 1 Sine dianggap tepat sebagai salah satu media dalam pembelajaran. Sebanyak 60,3% siswa menjawab tertarik belajar puisi dengan “Google classroom” dan “Google classroom” memberikan pengalaman baru. Kendala yang dialami dalam pemanfaatannya adalah lokasi rumah yang tidak terjangkau jaringan internet, karakter dan perilaku siswa sulit dipantau, keterbatasan sarana prasarana seperti laptop atau HP, kondisi listrik yang tidak stabil, dan keterbatasan kuota internet serta kurangnya efektifitas dan efisiensi waktu dikarenakan orang tua siswa yang sibuk bekerja.Katakunci: Google Classroom, pembelajaran, menulis,  puisi, pandemi,  covidAbstractThis article will describe the process of learning to write poetry during the COVID-19  pandemic by utilizing Google Classroom at SMA Negeri 1 Sine, Ngawi Regency. The object of research is the teacher and students of class X as many as 60 students. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that the process of learning to write poetry during the Covid 19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Sine, Ngawi Regency used online learning by utilizing google classroom media. The use of Google classroom in learning to write poetry during the Covid-19  pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Sine is considered appropriate as one of the media in learning. As many as 60.3% of students answered that they were interested in learning poetry with Google classroom and Google classroom providing a new experience. Constraints experienced in the use of google classroom are the location of the house that is not covered by the internet network, the character and behavior of students are difficult to monitor, limited infrastructure such as laptops or cellphones, unstable electricity conditions, and limited internet quotas and lack of effectiveness and time efficiency due to parents busy students.Keywords: Google Classroom, learning to write poetry, covid,  pandemic.

Abstract

This article describes the improvement of students' creativity in learning to write drama script with Problem-Based Learning model (PBM). The research method used is Classroom Action Research. The results showed that students 'creativity, learning effectiveness, and students' interest experienced improvement in each cycle. The average value of student creativity cycle I 75,95, cycle II 86,59, and at cycle III 95,45. Based on the KKM determined that 75, cycles I, 19 students (43.18%) is not complete and 25 students (56.82%) thorough, cycle II, 36 students (81.82%) complete and 8 students (18.18%) is incomplete, and cycle III of all students is complete. Then, the effectiveness of learning also increases. The average value of teacher activity cycle I 2.05 (enough), cycle II 3.27 (good), and in cycle III 3.82 (very good). The average value of student activity in cycle I 2.05 (enough), on cycle II 3 (good), and on cycle III 3.68 (very good). In addition, student interest in learning also increased. The average score of student interest in cycle I 78.92 began to grow (MB), the average value of student interest questionnaire in cycle II 85.91 MB, and the average value of student interest questionnaire in cycle III 92.39 with the information already entrust (SM). Abstract

This article will examine one of Cianjur's local wisdoms, namely beluk art, its context and rumpaka. The data were obtained by descriptive analytical method,that is to examine and describe seni beluk qualitatively. Seni beluk is a type of art that is closely related to wawacan literature that uses pupuh rules. Commonly, seni beluk is performed at the 40 days old-baby birth ceremony, but gradually the pattern of life of society develops so that seni beluk is not only presented at the 40 days old-baby ceremony but also at a ceremonial event related with circumcision , wedding and religion ceremonials. Considering its presentation,  seni beluk still holds the tradition and culture the of ancestors.Keywords:beluk, local wisdom, lyrics
