Abstract

The Airport Management Unit (UPBU) as one of the flight service providers whose obliged tomake, implement, evaluate and improve continuously the Safety Management System (SMS). TheUPBU must be supported by competent personnel of SMS. In order to meet the needs of personnelin SMS, Palembang Aviation Polytechnic collaborates with the Secretariat General of AirTransportation, organized community service activities through SMS training which was heldonline. This activity is aimed at participants are able to explain the concepts of SMS and applythem in their respective work according to national and international standards. This activity wasattended by 19 UPBU employees from all regions of Indonesia and 1 person from the PalembangAviation Polytechnic. The results obtained indicate that training was run effectively from thequestionnaire evaluation of participants. There is an allocation of examination time and internetconnectivity need to be improved from this activity and internet connectivity is one of the importantfactors that support the smooth running of online learning activities.

Abstract

Rubber seeds are an alternative raw material for biodiesel with great potential in Indonesia. Thisis because Indonesia is one of the largest rubber producers in Asia. Rubber seed oil has not beenwidely used. Therefore, this rubber seed oil needs to be processed, among others by reactingrubber seed oil with alcohol or by using an alcoholysis process, using Pertamina unit III petroleumcracking waste catalyst, which is also a waste, so that it can be utilized. The purpose of this serviceis in addition to applying the results of myCompetitive Grant research (Kiagus Ahmad Roni) whichwas funded by DIKTI in 2013-2014, also to provide knowledge and examples to the people ofSukajadi village, Prabumulih Timur sub-district, Prabumulih city, Muara Enim district, thisservice is proposed to be funded. by DIKTI for 2020, in 2015 this service was funded by DIKTI tobe implemented in Sumber Harum Village, Tunggal Jaya District and Margarahayu Village,Muara Telang District, Musi Banyu Asin Regency (MUBA) in processing rubber seeds to makethem more useful. The method used is Partipatory Action Research. This activity includesoutreach, mentoring and piloting in the community. Abstract

Community service, especially health services, considered as an important prevention action toinhibit non-communicable diseases’ complication, which held in collaboration with Public healthcenter. This community health services aimed to increase health status through monitoring bloodpressure, fasting blood glucose, and motivating society to perform physical activities to decreasesedentary behaviour which have positive correlation with obesity, hypertension, thus inducesdevelopment of metabolic syndrome. Increase level of knowledge on physical activity andsedentary behaviour for non-communicable diseases patients need to be highlighted, in terms ofcontrolling glycaemic index, metabolic control and cholesterol level. The community healthservice was held to 39 participants of Prolanis (Program of chronic diseases management)members at Johar Baru Public health center, Jakarta. As the results, there were 84.6%participants who have sedentary behaviour >17.1 hour/day. Most of the participants also havehigh risk factors such as hypertension, obesity and hyperglycaemia. It is expected that the Prolanismember should modify their lifestyle by performing physical activity regularly, such as walking,cleaning the house or other health activities to prevent complication

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) has a partner who is a housewife business group locatedin Lakarsantri Village, Lakarsantri District, Surabaya City. The snack product produced andmarketed by partners is Semanggi Stick. However, there are several problems faced by partnerswhile running their business. PKM activities in the form of training, mentoring and accompaniedby the procurement of equipment aim to assist partners in overcoming several problems, includingin the production process, labeling, packaging, business management, and marketing. Of course,by overcoming these problems, there is an increase in the skills, productivity and quality of partnerproducts. This can be seen from the increase in production capacity, where partners are able toproduce 6 to 8 recipes per week from an average of 2 recipes at the same time. Current partnerproducts are also able to last more than 1 month, which previously only has a maximum durabilityof 2 weeks.

Abstract

Product development for small and medium enterprises is very important. In the era ofglobalization, small and medium enterprises are required to be creative and able to have highinnovation. One business that has the potential for small and medium enterprises in Palembangnow is songket craft. To maintain and increase production by developing products, creatingproduct innovation, managing finances and marketing well. The conditions that occur in SongketMayang have not maximized business planning, do not understand simple financial reports andhave not maximized marketing strategies both manually and informatively in technology. For thisreason, we assisted by providing socialization and training in the preparation of MSME financialreports for Palembang songket craft with the team.

Abstract

Community Service activities are carried out in collaboration with the Palembang Archdiocese's1st Dean Family Commission, who entrusted this material to a team of lecturers from the Facultyof Business and Accounting, Musi Charitas Catholic University Palembang. The method ofproviding material in the form of lectures, videos, simulations and exercises. Participants who takepart in this activity are those who plan in the near future to carry out Catholic marriages. Thenumber of participants was 65 people, followed by 49% men and 51% women, most of theparticipants had an undergraduate degree (66%), with ages ranging from 23-27 years (74%), withincome levels ranging from 2-4 million (45% ). Providing material on "Financial PlanningTraining: Beautiful Retirement Periods" is needed for the participants of this training, so thatparticipants are wiser in planning their retirement.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan Kerajinan Tangan dari Bambu di Dusun 2 Desa Kemang Tanduk KecamatanRambang Kapak Tengah Prabumulih mulai menggeliat. Berbagai macam jenis kerajinan tanganyang dihasilkan dari bambu, Banyaknya bermunculan bisnis kerajinan tangan dari bambusemakin menambah persaingan yang ada di Desa Kemang Tanduk Prabumulih. Para pengrajinkerajinan tangan pun harus bisa mempertahankan ciri , kualitas sehingga bisa menghasilkankerajinan tangan dari bambu yang berkualitas dan menarik. Namun di tengah perkembangankerajinan tangan dari bambu muncul berbagai kendala yang seringkali dihadapi pengrajin yaitumasalah permodalan dan pengelolaan keuangan yang belum baik sehingga menyulitkan parapelaku bisnis dalam perolehan kredit/permodalan dari perbankan. Menyadari hal tersebut, kamitim PKM melakukan kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentangpentingnya manajemen keuangan bagi UMKM agar dapat meningkatkan keterampilanmanajemen keuangan usaha bagi para pelaku usaha mikro kecil dan menengah KerajinanTangan dari Bambu di Dusun 2 Desa Kemang Tanduk Kecamatan Rambang Kapak TengahPrabumulih dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja usaha. Kegiatan ini dilakukan denganmenggunakan metode pelatihan. Metode pelatihan ini meliputi, wawancara, ceramah, sosialisasidan dokumentasi, Subyek dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah pelaku Home Industry Kerajinantangan yang berlokasi di Kerajinan Tangan dari Bambu di Dusun 2 Desa Kemang TandukKecamatan Rambang Kapak Tengah Prabumulih. Pada tahap ini penyuluhan yang dilakukanadalah peningkatan keterampilan manajemen keuangan yang meliputi perencanaanpermodalan,pengelolaan keluar masuknya uang dan pendistribusian laba selain itu dibuatnyalaporan keuangan UMKM.

Abstract

Pada perkembangan zaman yang semakin modern dan daya saing yang semakin tinggi dalammembuka suatu wirausaha, untuk itu diperlukan kreasi dan kreatifitas dalam menciptakan peluangusaha yang baru , pempek merupakan makanan khas Palembang yang banyak diminati oleh wargabaik pendatang maupun warga asal namun banyaknya penual pempek menuntut para pengusahamampu menciptakan kreasi yang berbeda bersama tim dari universitas uigm warga kecamatan gandusmembuat kreasi baru untuk makanan khas Palembang yaitu pempek berbahan dari tepung nasi yangdihaluskan untuk itu diadakan juga Pelatihan bagi para pemula usaha kreasi pempek nasi untuk caramenghitung modal dan laba yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Managing personal finances for some people is an activity that doesn't need to be studied anymore, because it is considered an activity that we do every day. However, we do not realize that there is still much we do not know to achieve proper financial management. In order to understand good financial management, sufficient knowledge of financial management is needed. Personal financial literacy is very important in supporting the realization of individual goals. By managing personal finances, each individual will know the goals to be achieved, and make optimal use of the management of financial resources to achieve these goals. This community service activities are carried out with the aim of enabling activity participants to manage their personal finances. Skills in managing personal finances are very important in everyday life to avoid financial difficulties. Especially during the current Covid-19 Pandemic, where many employees experienced a decline in income. Participants in this activity were MSME employees, namely 20 employees of the Panhead Café & Bar. The stages of this Community Service activity consist of three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. After the training was carried out, the result was that as many as 65% of the total activity participants, namely 13 out of 20 participants, were able to implement their personal financial management according to their planned cost allocation which refers to three types of expenses, namely necessities (65%), wants ( desire) (5%), and saving (savings) (30%). As much as 20% of the total number of activity participants, namely 4 people, have saved but the percentage of saving is still below 30% of their total income. As much as 15% of the total activity participants, namely 3 people, do not save but buy goods that are consumptive in nature

Abstract

ABSTRACT The present pandemic has changed the global economic life. In the family level it results the decreasing family income. This situation weakens the resilience. Therefore. it is urgent to create new opportunities within the context of family. Family has played major role where the mother’s involvement is significant to respond the change and to creatively look for entrepreneurship opportunity. This community service aims at improving the family resilience through economic empowerment of mother’s role. The activity is divided into two sessions, namely: (1) Practical skills of child independence development; and (2) Practical entrepreneurship skills “how to make peach gum herbal drink”. Survey was conducted at the end of the activity. One-Sample Test was employed to measure means value of perceived-benefit, involvement and loyalty which is accounted for 4 (= Agree) (Sig. > 0.05). Procedures for Bivariate Correlation to measure the participation level was applied. The result shows significant correlation between Session Attractiveness (KTM) and Perceived-benefit (PMM) (0.548/Sig. 0.01), and between Future Intention (KKG) and Recommendation (KR) (0.447/Sig. 0.05).
