Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the extent of the influence of project-based learning models and guided inquiry models on students' scientific literacy skills based on independent learning. The research was carried out at the State Elementary Schools of Cibatok 1 and Cibatok 6 Cibungbulang District Bogor Regency , with the research subjects class V students totaling 72 people. The design of this study was a post-test experimental and control group design. The method used is a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental). The experimental class was given the Project Based Learning (PJBL) model treatment, while the control class was given the guided inquiry model treatment. The instrument used consists of a questionnaire for independent learning and a test of scientific literacy skills. Data analysis was carried out using a two-way ANOVA test with a 2x2 factorial. Based on the results of the study, it was found that: (1) the scientific literacy skills of students who studied with the PJBL model were higher than the scientific literacy skills of students who studied with the guided inquiry model, (2) there was an interactive learning ability and independent learning model , (3) the scientific literacy ability of students who were treated with the PJBL model was higher than that of students who were treated with the guided inquiry model in groups of students who had high learning independence, and (4) there was no difference in the scientific literacy abilities of students who were given PJBL model treatment with students who were given the guided inquiry model treatment in groups of students who had low learning independence.

Abstract

An educational institution, to produce graduates who meet the specifications and targets set (quality standards), the human resources (SOM) involved in the learning and learning process must meet the requirements for work attitudes, knowledge and skills set. Therefore, the competitiveness and performance of an agency is largely determined by the quality of its SOM competence. The quality of SOM competence will ultimately affect the country's competitiveness to compete in the job market. On the other hand, an agency to be able to retain the best employees it has is not easy. To be able to retain employees, the management must be able to understand the needs of employees and be able to create a conducive work environment that can make employees feel motivated both internally and externally. This requires optimizing the role of the Human Resources Department (HRD). SOM is the key to win the global competition. The employment sector is a means to produce quality graduates who are ready to be competitive, produce quality graduates with their skills and knowledge, and provide excellent service with their attitude. Therefore, there needs to be a systematic and strategic effort in managing SOM.

Abstract

Teacher leadership and teacher development are key to building capacity for sustainable school improvement. Evidence shows the importance of teachers working together and learning together in generating the capacity for change. Building leadership capacity requires a constructivist learning approach in which teachers learn together and build meaning from professional interaction, discussion and dialogue. The birth of leaders at every level of leadership in schools through the building/development of teacher leadership capacities is a hallmark of effective leadership which ultimately gives birth to advanced and superior schools. Schools are organizations. As an organization, schools seek to improve their products, services, and innovations through "continuous improvement" and "breakthrough strategies". This method resulted in a concept known as Total Quality Management (TOM) and Business Process Reengineering. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the sample being at SMKN 8 Kata Bandung. The results showed that at SMKN 8 Bandung City had implemented teacher leadership capacity building with an implementation rate of 36%. And the success rate of implementing learning organization is 24.41%.

Abstract

This research was conducted in class VII A of SMP Negeri 1 CariuBogor Regency by using map media in an effort to improve student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research). The subjects of this study were students of class VII A of SMP Negeri 1 Cariu as many as 36 students. This research took place in 2 cycles, each cycle consisted of one meeting. Data collection techniques used observation, field notes, and documentation. The type of data collected is data on student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is the data analysis technique quantitative which consists of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The criteria for success in this research are if 75% of the students in class VII A have a minimum grade of 70 according to the curriculum of SMP Negeri 1 Cariu. The results of the study can be concluded as follows: The use of map media can improve student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the percentage of students who achieve the KKM value in the first cycle of 42% increasing to 84% in the second cycle. This means that the number of students who achieve the KKM score (70) has exceeded the set success criteria of 75%.

Abstract

The research is motivated by students who are less interested, less active, and tend not to be creative. This is indicated by a less enthusiastic attitude when the lesson takes place which causes low scores on the Social Sciences (IPS) test results for students, because teachers still use learning models that do not stimulate students to study harder. The purpose of carrying out this research is to find out the increase in social studies learning outcomes for students in class Vll-10 SMP Negeri 1 Cileungsi semester 2 for the 2017/2018 academic year on material scarcity as an economic problem through cooperative learning with the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model. This research is a classroom action research with the research subjects of class VII-10 students. The research location is SMP Negeri 1 Cileungsi in semester 2 of the 2017/2018 academic year. In this study consisted of two cycles. Where in each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. Data collection through observation and tests. Data collection techniques in this study in addition to using observation also use direct assessment. The results obtained are that through cooperative learning the STAD model is able to make a positive contribution to activities in group discussions and to improve social studies learning outcomes. This is evident from the increase in activity in group discussions in the first cycle of 57.90%, the second cycle of 82.46 and social studies learning outcomes which at the time, the first cycle of 69.47% and the second cycle of 80.53%.

Abstract

The background of the research was that the grades of Natural Sciences (IPA) for class IX-7 SMP Negeri 1 Cariu, Bogar Regency, were not optimal. A total of 23 students (57.5%) out of 40 students scored below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 75. Meanwhile, 17 students (42.5%) scored above the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This research is an increase in the science learning outcomes of students on food biotechnology material through the application of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model for class IX-7 SMP Negeri 1 Cariu, Bogar Regency, 2015/2016 Academic Year Semester 1. This research is an action research research subject. Class IX students -7 with the research location of SMP Negeri 1 Cariu for the 2015/2016 academic year. This research consists of two cycles, where in each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. Data collection through observation and tests. The results obtained are that the implementation through the application of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model is able to make a positive contribution to student learning activities and improve science learning outcomes for students in class IX-7 SMP Negeri 1 Cariu, Bogar Regency, 2015/2016 academic year. This is proven by an increase in student learning activities in the first cycle of 72, 73%, the second cycle of82.69 and test results. Students who in the pre-cycle have an average of 66.5 and 30% success, cycle I average is 70 and success is 52.5%, and cycle 11 is an average of 83 and success is 77, 5%.

Abstract

The low literacy culture of the Indonesian nation is caused by a lack of understanding of reading culture because generally they can only read and write. Literacy should be more comprehensive, namely the integration of listening, speaking, writing, reading and critical thinking skills. This research was conducted on mathematics subject matter Algebra in class VII SMP Negeri 17 Bogor City. The stages in this classroom action research (CAR) include (1) Planning CAR, (2) Implementing CAR, (3) Carrying out observations, and (4) Do reflection. In the first cycle obtained 34.6% results and have not reached the KKM (75). Difficulties of students in cycle I are students who are not yet skilled at differentiating similar and dissimilar tribes, so students still add or subtract different tribes. In cycle II, the learning percentage was 69.2%, and students were accustomed to writing reports and answering questions while discussing with their groups. In the third cycle, the results of learning completeness were 93.3%. Action observation data and learning outcomes in cycle III described that learning algebraic concepts was considered good based on the literacy approach. Students already have the ability to answer quiz questions with good categories. Thus, the results of this study from cycles I, II, and III showed a significant increase in learning outcomes.

Abstract

One of the low learning outcomes of students is because teachers still use conventional learning models. The make a match learning model is proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes on the material phenomena that occur in the atmosphere and hydrosphere in class VII-E of SMP Negeri 1 Jonggol. The results of the study can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes through test and non-test instruments. Data analysis of class success with a range of 7.10 - 10.00 in cycle 1 was 102 and cycle 2 was 140. The average score in cycle 1 was 0.64 and cycle 2 was 0.88, there was an increase of 0.24. The majority of students in cycle 1 on the distribution of values ​​75-87 and cycle 2 on the value of 88-100. Students who reach or exceed the KKM in cycle 1 are 25 students in cycle 2 are 37 students. The percentage that reaches the KKM in cycle 1 is 0.62 and in cycle 2 is 0.92. There is an increase of 0.30. Attention of students when starting learning in cycle 1 is 60% and in cycle 2 is 93.3% there is an increase of 33.3%. Student response in learning in cycle 1 is 76.5% and in cycle 2 is 96.9% there is an increase by 20.4%. The seriousness of students in solving problems in cycle 1 is 66.7% and in cycle 2 is 80% there is an increase of 13.3%. The courage of students in appearing in front of the class to answer the questions given by the teacher in cycle 1 is 65% and in cycle 2 is 85%, there is an increase of 20%. The seriousness and ability of students to ask questions about the symptoms of the hydrosphere and their impact on life in cycle 1 was 73.3% and in cycle 2 was 93.3% an increase of 20%.

Abstract

The learning outcomes of students who have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) are caused by the inappropriate method or method applied in learning. So that in understanding a learning material students have difficulty. The learning process that still uses the traditional approach to information and communication technology subjects has the potential to cause boredom, boredom and reduce students' interest and motivation in learning, which will ultimately have an impact on student learning outcomes. This classroom action research aims to create a learning atmosphere that is fun, not boring and improves the quality of learning. So that it can increase student activity in learning, invite students to participate and can improve student learning outcomes in Information and Communication Technology lessons. This study uses the Make a Match learning model, where each student is given a card/paper containing questions and answers from the subject matter being studied. After the card is given, each student tries to find a partner according to the content of the question or make the right pair, they will be given pain or a reward. The analysis step is carried out with initial dialogue, planning, action is carried out in two cycles. The results obtained after this research showed an increase in learning outcomes. The percentage increase in the average cycle I = 76 and the average value in the second cycle = 80. Based on the results of this study, it is highly expected that teachers use this learning model to improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

Melihat kondisi  rendahnya prestasi  atau hasil belajar siswa SD Negeri Tunggilis Cileungsi  Kabupaten Bogor maka beberapa upaya dilakukan melalui  metode demonstrasi. Melalui  metode demonstrasi dan  pemberian  pekerjaan  rumah  diharapkan  siswa  dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajarnya, sehingga terjadi pengulangan dan penguatan  terhadap  materi   pembelajaran.   Penelitian   ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan (action research) sebanyak dua putaran.  Setiap  putaran terdiri  dari  empat tahap,  yaitu  :     rancangan, kegiatan dan pengamatan, refleksi, dan revisi.  Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I     SON Tunggilis Kecamatan Cileungsi  Kabupaten Bogor tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.  Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes formatif,  lembar observasi  kegiatan belajar mengajar.  Dari  hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa hasil belajar belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari  siklus  I      sampai  siklus  II,  yaitu  siklus  I     (73,33%), siklus II  (88,89%). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran demonstrasi berpengaruh positifp terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas I    SON Tunggilis dan model pembelajaran ini  dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif pada pembelajaran tema lingkungan
