Abstract

The author's research was carried out because it was motivated by low social studies learning outcomes and the lack of student activity on the Diversity of Earth's Shapes material made teaching and learning activities passive and tended not to attract students' attention. If this is left unchecked without any real effort from the teacher, then there is a possibility that the teacher will experience the same problem as the previous semester. Taking into account these conditions, I as a social studies teacher feel interested and want to fix this problem by improving the quality of the teaching and learning process, especially on the Diversity of Earth's Shapes by applying the inquiry learning method. The research was conducted at SMPN 3 Gunungputri from September to November 2012. The research subjects were class VII.B, which consisted of 43 students. The method used is classroom action research, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: 1) planning; 2) implementation; 3) observation; and 4) reflection. The results of the study conclude that: 1) Learning with the inquiry method can increase the activity of students and teachers, in the learning process in the first cycle by 81% and in the second cycle by 87%, 2) Learning with the inquiry method can improve student learning outcomes, and 3) The percentage of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 72.09% and in the second cycle is 81.40%. By using the Inquiry method on the Diversity of Earth's Forms Material, student learning outcomes can be increased.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research was motivated by the land problems found when carrying out learning, namely the low learning activity of students in participating in the Social Sciences (IPS) learning process and the low social studies learning outcomes of class IX-3 students at SMP Negeri 4 Cileungsi, Bogar Regency. This research is an action research that is carried out systematically on various actions. The research steps consist of several stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class IX-3. Determining the problem as a solution the researcher uses the Snowball Throwing learning model to improve activities and learning outcomes. The results showed (1) there was an increase in student learning activities from 74.75% of the first cycle to82.75% in the second cycle, this indicates an increase of 8% thus the Snowball Throwing Learning Model can improve student learning activities (2) there is an increase in student learning outcomes from 72.22% in the first cycle to 86.11% in the second cycle this shows an increase of 13.89%, thus Snowball Throwing Learning can improve student learning outcomes. From the results of the research data, it can be concluded that the Snowball Throwing learning model can improve learning activities and student learning outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the not yet optimal ability of students in drawing batik motifs because batik learning is currently still theoretical. Therefore, the use of image media is expected to improve students' ability to draw batik motifs through imitating and modifying activities. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out in three cycles. The location of the research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Cariu, Bogor Regency, for students in class Vlll-3. The data collection techniques used were tests, observations, questionnaires, interviews, literature studies, field notes, and documentation studies. In analyzing research data, data obtained from test activities and observations from learning activities were analyzed descriptively and percentages. The findings of the research are: a) Planning for learning to draw batik motifs is carried out through the stages: reviewing SK and KD, compiling PP repairs, developing drawing media, and developing research instruments. Planning activities take into account the curriculum and student needs. b) The implementation of learning to draw batik motifs using image media can increase student activity, increase students' insight into the art of batik craft, and can imitate and modify batik motifs. The learning stages include: concept exposure, imitating activities and modifying activities. c) The results obtained from learning to draw batik motifs using image media based on tests given to students showed an increase with an average test score of 70.00 (cycle 1) to 76.58 (cycle 2) and 77.22 (cycle 1). 3). Based on these data, it can be concluded that the use of image media can improve students' ability to draw batik motifs through imitating and modifying batik motifs.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of sustainable development education on the dimensions of environmental conservation through the RADEC model in science learning in elementary schools (SD). This study used a descriptive qualitative approach involving 4 teachers and 20 elementary school students in the city of Bogor which was taken based on the purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and elementary science curriculum documents, which were processed using triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that (1) in general the indicators derived from basic competencies can be oriented towards the goal of sustainable education on the dimensions of environmental conservation; (2) Science learning packaged in thematic learning at the elementary school level can provide opportunities in the process of implementing sustainable development education holistically and comprehensively; (3) The RADEC model can stimulate students to learn actively, not only mastering the concept of environmental conservation but also thinking skills and attitudes in preserving the environment; (4) The RADEC model can be applied in synchronous and asynchronous online learning so that it is suitable for use during the Covid 19 pandemic

Abstract

In a study entitled Analysis of Modeling of Islamic Corporate Culture in Islamic Banks in Increasing Company Performance Value (Case Study at PT. Bank BNI Syariah Central Branch and PT. Bank Mandiri Syariah Central Branch), researchers tried to see how much influence corporate culture has on performance. In this study, using a qualitative approach with the method of empirical studies, namely looking at the phenomena found in Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank BNI Syariah and seeing the comparison based on existing theories. Islamic financial institutions are a reflection of the application of sharia in life. In supporting this application, a conducive atmosphere is needed that is supportive. In the formation of this atmosphere, something is needed, namely Corporate Culture or Corporate Culture. In implementing the corporate culture, it is hoped that it can provide beneficial feedback, namely increasing the value of the company which is reflected in the performance of the company's employees.

Abstract

Food security is an important issue for all countries in the world because it is related to the limitations in the fulfillment of food, energy and water due to an increase in population. Indonesia as a developing country has a problem in the level of food production and distribution which only supplies local resources. The Special Efforts Program for the Acceleration of Increasing Cattle Obligatory Populations (Upsus Siwab) is a national program for food security with the target of accelerating the increase in population of cattle. But in fact in 2018 there was a decline in cattle population in Indonesia which means that the Upsus Siwab program which was made a strategic step by the Ministry of Agriculture since 2017 has not been able to run according to the target. The causes of this program's failure will be examined in this article. The Upsus Siwab program reviewed focuses on improving Artificial Insemination (IB) services. The success rate of IB is influenced by several factors, namely the quality of frozen semen, human resources (inseminator and farmer), IB acceptor physiology, IB implementation time and livestock maintenance management. The critical success factors that have been anticipated in the Upsus Siwab program are the quality of frozen semen, human resources (inseminator) and the physiology of IB acceptors, while other determinants have not been resolved properly because they are directly related to the expertise and skills of the breeders themselves. Basically, farmers will breed their livestock, either in natural mating or IB. And when viewed from the side of farmers' perceptions of the implementation of IBs, it can be concluded that the knowledge and awareness of farmers in implementing IBs in Indonesia is good. This is evidenced that 47 percent of the cows population did IB before the Upsus Siwab program and when compared to the number of IB implementations after the program did not differ much there was only an increase of 12 percent. So it appears that the increase in the implementation of IB in this program is not proportional to the increase in the number of IB acceptors by 52 percent. This program can be modified with a counseling program for farmers in the form of animal husbandry management training and skills in determining heat. In addition, the target of implementing the Upsus Siwab program is not only seen from the number of IB acceptors but from the addition of the number of IB acceptors for farmers who have never done IB and/or farmers who do not yet have an awareness of the importance of IB.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the color booklet media about menstruation on increasing the knowledge of elementary school students in Tipar Elementary School, Cigudeg District, Bogor Regency. This research is a quasy experimental study with a pre- posttest with control design method that was conducted on grade V and IV students who had or had not yet menstruated and were selected using random sampling techniques with 40 respondents who were divided into 20 respondents in the control group using black booklet media white and 20 respondents in the experimental group using a color booklet. The results showed the average score of students who used colored booklet media was higher than students who used black and white booklets, but had the same increase in knowledge and after being compared using the independent sample t test, the results showed no significant effect between increased knowledge colored booklet and black and white booklet.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the influence of paternalistic leadership styles on teacher job satisfaction at SDIT AR-Rohmaniyah, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method using correlational techniques and analyzed using multiple regression techniques. The results of the analysis of the influence of the principal's paternalistic leadership style (X1) on teacher job satisfaction (Y) at SDIT AR Rohmaniyah Kec. Tanah Sareal Bogor City which has been carried out by researchers, from the results of the answers to a questionnaire that has been distributed to 44 respondents using the SPSS version 21 program. Based on the results of a simple linear regression test, it is concluded that there is a positive but insignificant effect between the principal's paternalistic leadership style on satisfaction teacher work.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of using the audio-visual media to improve the result of learning in arabic subjects of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Taman Islam Bogor and the respondents are 35 respondents. The research method that used is the classroom research method. The method isu sing cycles, each cycle consist of fourth steps. First is planning, second is implementation, third is observation, and fourth is reflection. While the collection of data used the observation, test, and documentatoin. The indicator of the research successful is when the students are achieve of 70 maximum graduation criteria. Arabic learning is used the audio-visual media has increased outcomes learning. It showed by the students result. In pre-test questions is 45,71. Then after doing the first cycle is 53,14 (post- test II). In second cycle is 71,42 (post-test II). Based on the result of this research is concluded that arabic learning using the audio-visual media is improving the result learning of grade IV students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Taman Islam Cibungbulang Bogor. In academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of learning styles to interest in learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Anwarul Hidayah. The method used in this study is the correlational method to know the contribution of learning styles to the learning interest of SD/MI students, as well as predict the contribution of learning styles to interest in learning. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire, the questionnaire used is a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale, distributed a questionnaire to 127 students consisting of grades IV, V, and VI, at MI. The data obtained were analyzed using the Simple Linear Regression test using SPSS 25 at (0.05). The results show that online learning styles and offline learning styles have a major contribution if the learning style increases, the interest in learning will increase, and vice versa if the learning style decreases, the interest in learning decreases, this is evidenced by the probability value (sig) of 0.000 with an F value. amounted to 41222,917. the probability obtained is smaller than a significance of 0.05, which means that there is a significant contribution between online learning styles and online learning interest and a probability value (sig) of 0.000 with an F value of 70302.058. the probability obtained is smaller than a significant of 0.05, which means that there is a contribution between offline learning styles and offline learning interests. From these results, it can be concluded that online learning styles and offline learning styles have a major contribution if the learning style increases, the interest in learning will increase and vice versa if the learning style decreases, the interest in learning decreases.
