Abstract

Kebersihan gigi dan mulut merupakan bagian penting dari kesehatan tubuh secara umum. Kebersihan gigi dan mulut meliputi suatu keadaan dimana gigi geligi dalam keadaan bersih, bebas dari plak, debris, karang gigi dan sisa makanan serta tidak tercium bau busuk dari mulut. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui hubungan status oral hygiene dengan status gizi siswa SD N 11 Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD 11 Kota Bengkulu sebanyak 105 orang. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data penggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Fisher's Exact Test. Hasil penelitian sebagian besar berat badan responden 33,38 kg, sebagian besar umur responden 10,33 tahun, sebagian besa\r tinggi badan responden 138,22 cm. Status oral hygiene sebanyak 90,4% dengan kategori baik dan 9,6% dengan kategori buruk. Status gizi sebanyak 66,3% dengan kategori normal, 33,7% dengan kategori gizi lebih (gemuk atau obesitas) sedangkan kategori kurang (sangat kurus dan kurus) tidak ditemukan. Tidak ada hubungan status oral hygiene dengan status gizi siswa SD N 11 Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

Obesity increases very sharply throughout the world which is quite alarming. One age group that is at risk of obesity is school age children. Animated video can provide real stimulation containing images, motion and sound elements. This study aims to determine the Effect of Animation Videos on Knowledge and Attitudes of Elementary School Children. This type of research is used Quasi Experimental with a pretest-posttest design with control group design. This research was conducted at SDN 01 and SDN 04 Kota Bengkulu on March 8 to April 8, 2019. Samples with 28 in each group. Analyze data using Mc. Nemar. The results of this study indicate that changes in knowledge before and after intervention in the intervention group (p = 0.0001), while in the control group (p = 0.001). Changes in attitudes of elementary school children before and after treatment in the intervention group (p = 0.063) and in the control group (p = 0.125). There is a change in knowledge but there is no change in attitude on the group and the intervention of the influence of the animation video on the knowledge of elementary school children about obesity in the city of Bengkulu.

Abstract

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a number of disorders that affect the movement of air from and out of the lungs which is characterized by a continuous blockage of air flow from the lungs. This blockage of air flow is progressive and is related to the pulmonary inflammatory response. The use of pursed lips and semi-fowler positions will make it easier for nurses to reduce tightness in COPD patients. The purpose of knowing the effect of pursed lips breathing and semi-fowler position on changes in shortness in COPD patients. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest with control group design. The sampling technique used in this study was a consequtivesampling technique with 20 people in one group. The analysis used is non-parametric using mannwhitney. The results showed there was an effect of pursed lips breathing exercises and semi-fowler position on changes in tightness in COPD patients (P = 0.005). Sweet solution is a method can be used or done to reduce tightness in COPD patient.

Abstract

Sexual violence that occurs can cause psychological impacts including mental trauma, shame, even suicide desire. The purpose of this study determine the effect of on Knowledge and Attitudes About Prevention of Sexual Violence in Elementary school SD Negeri 60 Kec. Singaran Pati and SD Negeri 77 Padang Serai in Bengkulu City. The research design was quasi experimental with pre-test and post-test with control group design. The total sample of 62 people consisted of 31 intervention groups and 31 control groups. The sampling technique is random sampling choise and consequtive sampling. Analysis using a t-test at α <5%. The results showed that the mean knowledge about prevention of sexual violence in the intervention group before 55.98 intervention 78.70 (p = 0.015). The mean attitude about prevention of sexual violence in the intervention group before intervention 87,31 and After picture media there was an increase in the average attitude of 88,38 (p = 0.965). There is study the method of giving able to increase knowledge about prevention of sexual violence in children but could improve children's attitudes about preventing sexual violence

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the number one cause of death in the world from all existing cancer. Data RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu in 2016 as many as 34 people with cervical cancer. Not performing regular early detection is the biggest factor causing cervical cancer. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect the incidence of cervical cancer in Dr. M. Yunus City of Bengkulu Year 2016.The type of this research is mixed method. Quantitative samples were 34 cases and 68 controls used secondary data and primary data while the qualitative data were 3 main informants and 2 supporting informants using in-depth interviews. This research was conducted in December 2017 - January 2018 at Dr.. M. Yunus Bengkulu.The results showed that there were age relationship (p = 0,016), married age (p value = 0,036), parity (p value = 0,005), hormonal contraceptive use (p value = 0,033) and no job relation with cervical cancer incidence p = 0.249). Multivariate analysis result of age factor become the dominant factor influencing cervical cancer with P value 0,001 and OR 8,312. While qualitative got 2 out of 3 informant have sexual intercourse first age less than 20 year, 1 of 3 informant have sexual relationship outside of marriage, 2 out of 3 informant have sexual partner more than than, 1 of 3 informant have couple sekksual at risk, 2 of 3 respondents married more than once.Health officers as a counselor should increase the knowledge and understanding of the public about cervical cancer through extension activities to reduce the incidence.

Abstract

: One of the efforts is towards healthy behavior through a program known as the Clean and Healthy Behavior Program (PHBS) which is carried out systematically and coordinated. The Effects of Play for Increasing Children's Knowledge Games can increase affiliation with peers, reduce pressure, improve cognitive development and can reduce potentially dangerous behaviors. This study aims to determine the effect of education on PHBS knowledge in junior high school students and students in the city of Bengkulu. The design used was a quasi experiment using a pre-post test design with control group design. the subject group was observed before the intervention, then observed again after the intervention. The sample was taken using simple random sampling with 30 people in one group and the entire study sample was 60 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire made by Titi Sari Banun. Analysis used the Wilcoxon test to compare anxiety variables in groups, while the Mann Whitney-U test was used to compare anxiety variables in both groups. The results of the statistical test show p = 0.009 <α 0.05. so that it can be concluded that there is a difference in average PHBS knowledge before and after being given the educational game board POPOHIDATKU and it can be concluded that there is an influence of the educational board game POPOHIDATKU on Knowledge of PHBS in middle school children aged 13 years in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Problems: The achievement of the prevalence of pulmonary TB in Bengkulu is not yet optimal, it is still a health problem for the community. Province ranks first with 17,419 cases, while Bengkulu City ranks first with 334 souls. The independence of companions to the treatment of tuberculosis patients is very important in the tuberculosis treatment and care program at home. The aim of the research to analyze the effect of health literacy on drug swallowing assistance (PMO) for tuberculosis patients. Research method: Research design "quasy experiment". The population was all PMO tuberculosis patients who underwent a 1-2 month treatment program at the Nusa Indah Public Health Center, Sukamerindu, Small Bridge, Muara Bangkahulu and Bengkulu City Fish Market as many as 80 people. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique and were divided into treatment groups (40 people) and control groups (40 people). The independent variable is health literacy. The dependent variable is PMO independence. The instruments in the study were questionnaires and observation sheets. The first step is that the researcher obtains the identity of the respondent and then conducts a pre-test to assess the independence of the PMO before conducting health literacy. After that, according to the agreement, the researcher made a home visit for 1 time in the first month after that the treatment was for 1 week, then in the 3rd month the researcher conducted a post test. Research data processing using SPSS version 25. Previously, the instrument was tested on the modified PMO independence questionnaire with a reliability value of r table 0.220 and a Chronbach r alpha value of 0.764 which means reliable. The value of the r validity test is 0.771 where r is greater than r table so that the keyword is valid. Then analyzed using ANOVA at a significant level of 0.05. Results: showed that there was a significant effect of health literacy on PMO knowledge (p=0.000). Conclusion: knowledge is an important element in the independence of PMO and the success of tuberculosis patients in treatment. Future researchers are expected to conduct research with other variables such as quality of life of pulmonary tuberculosis patients and more samples.Keywords: health literacy, knowledge, tuberculosis

Abstract

Abstract: Covid 19 is an infectious disease caused by a new type of corona virus, the number of confirmed cases of the corona virus in the world is 26.76 million cases. Of these, there have been 877,886 deaths and 18.8 million cases of patients who have been declared cured. Data obtained from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia stated that Bengkulu Province had 11,197 cases with the highest number of deaths as many as 56 people. This type of research is quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental research design (quasi-experimental) using a pretest-posttest research design with a control group. The sample is all Bengkulu City panoramic market traders who have WhatsApp. The sampling technique used in this study is a purposive sampling technique, namely one sampling non-random sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the influence of structured education on the level of compliance with the use of masks at the Panorama Market traders in Bengkulu City as an effort to prevent COVID-19. Wilcoxon statistical test results in the intervention group showed a p value of 0.001 (p value 0.05) while the control group showed a p value of 0.001 (p value 0.05). Education on the use of masks is beneficial for traders as an effort to prevent Covid-19. Structured education on the use of masks is expected to continue to be active as a program to prevent the transmission of Covid-19.

Abstract

Background : Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia or high levels of glucose in the blood due to impaired insulin secretion, decreased insulin action or a result of both. The risk of developing type 2 diabetes will continue to increase with increasing age, obesity, and lack of physical activity (American Diabetes Association, 2018). Objective: To determine the effect of providing sleep management books and foot massage on sleep quality values ​​in patients with type II diabetes mellitus. Research Methods: The design used in this study was One group pre test - post test design, where in this study the sample was observed first before being given treatment then after being given treatment the sample was re-observed (Hidayat, 2007). Results: The results of statistical tests with the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test at α 5% obtained a sleep quality score (p value 0.035 <0.05) So Ha is accepted. Conclusion: there is an effect of sleep management books and foot massage on changes in sleep quality scores and Ankle Brachial Index values.

Abstract

Background: The function of sleep is very important for the life of the elderly because sleep disorders can affect the quality of life. Getting quality sleep is important for improving health, including recovery from illness. Disruption of sleep quality can cause physiological and psychological balance disorders in the elderly. Benson relaxation is a method of deep breathing intervention combined with surrender to God which gives a relaxed and comfortable feeling so as to improve sleep quality in the elderly. The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of Benson relaxation on the sleep quality of the elderly. Methods: This study used a literature review design. Study selection from online database as data for this research. Researchers use articles relevant to the MeSH and PICOS Framework keywords which will be described in the PRISMA Diagram, eligible articles will be assessed using critical assessment to determine the quality of the study.Results: Of the 6 studies that met the criteria for analysis, respondents with sleep quality disorders on average were aged 60-70 years, and most of them were experienced by elderly women, the length of time for the intervention varied from 1 week to the shortest. and 6 months for the longest, of the varying lengths of intervention, all stated that there was an increase in sleep quality after Benson's relaxation intervention.Conclusion: Benson relaxation therapy can improve sleep quality in the elderly.
