Abstract

Prevention of stunting in infants and toddlers can be done starting during pregnancy. Nutritional intake in pregnant women can be done by consuming quality food. In an effort to fulfill nutrition for pregnant women and children by consuming nutritious snacks, this service conducted training on making cassava leaf tempeh to the community in the Bukit Surungan village, West Padang Panjang, Padang Panjang City in July 2022. The training activity began with an explanation about the content of cassava leaf tempeh to the trainees and a demonstration of how to make cassava leaves into tempeh with the addition of tempeh yeast. The finished cassava leaf tempeh is fried with tempeh flour and eaten with the trainees. The trainees said that tempeh was delicious and almost the same as tempeh in general. This tempe-making training has been successfully implemented and the community is interested in eating the fried tempeh as a nutritious snackservice activity that has been carried out has achieved its goal of preventing stunting in the city of Padang Panjang.

Abstract

Karangtaruna is a social organization that becomes the strength of young people in the village. Karangtaruna village by KKNT-PPM Unwira 2022 students is a community service that takes a special role in empowering village youth. The purpose of forming this Karang Taruna is a form of participation and concern for the problems faced by the village community. Activities carried out at the Waijarang Village Office, Nubatukan District, Lembata Regency provide many benefits. The benefits of youth activities, more specifically, must be a continuation of social groups with free creative space so that the planned and planned dynamic steps can be carried out properly. In addition, the formation of Karang Taruna has given a positive color in building the role of each young man and woman in preparing for this year's moment of independence.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is as an effort to improve the performance of the Bina Qurani Al-Qurani Education Center in the management of academic administration related to the management of TPA learning in terms of learning administration management in the form of a Learning Implementation Plan, in addition to providing insight into making administration in TPA learning. The method used in this Service is by training with lectures, questions and answers and mentoring. Data collection techniques were obtained by direct observation, interviews and documentation at the Bina Qurani landfill organization which is located in the hamlet of Jetis Sinduadi Mlati Sleman Yogyakarta. The results of this service resulted in an increase in the performance of the Bina Qurani Landfill by producing a Learning Implementation Plan which was used as a guide in providing Iqra and Quran learning by ustazah or Bina Qurani landfill teachers.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the health problems that Indonesia is still facing. Stunting is a growth and development disorder that causes a child to have a short or distant stature from the average child of his age. Stunting begins to occur when the fetus is still in the womb caused by the mother's food intake during pregnancy that is less nutritious. As a result, the nutrition obtained by the child in the womb is not sufficient. Stunting in children can be caused by various factors, ranging from genetic factors, lack of nutritional intake during the womb and after birth, repeated infections, to the low level of parental knowledge about the normal growth and development of children. This study aims to see the level of knowledge of mothers in preventing stunting in the work area of the city of Padang Panjang. This type of research is an analytic survey with a research design using a cross sectional study. The results of the study that the mother's level of knowledge was high with a percentage of 66.7%. while stunting prevention is not good with a percentage of 56.7%. The results of statistical tests obtained p value = 0.602, so it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the mother's level of knowledge on the prevention of stunting in the Gunung Padang Panjang Public Health Center in 2022. This study is expected to provide information about the mother's level of knowledge in preventing stunting

Abstract

Community Service Activities by Students (PMM) Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang is a form of contribution in helping to solve problems that exist in society. This service mechanism is carried out by proposing, submitting permits for the place, preparing for service, implementing services, evaluating, and making reports. Learning assistance provided by students (PMM) Group 97 using the direct learning mentoring model at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 1 Sengkaling Kindergarten. This service aims to help teachers at the Dharma Wanita Persatuan 1 Sengkaling Kindergarten in the learning mentoring process. The activities carried out by the Group of 97 PMM UMM in learning assistance were learning calistung (reading, writing, counting), making crafts, and coloring competitions. These activities were supported and given a positive response by the teachers in the Dharma Wanita Persatuan 1 Sengkaling Kindergarten. The service activity ended with making window decorations for display in the children's classroom because the colors of the old decorations had faded so they had to be re-placed with new decorations. With the new decoration, it is hoped that the Dharma Wanita Persatuan 1 Sengka-ling Kindergarten children can be more cheerful and enthusiastic about learning.

Abstract

Prevention of stunting in toddlers can be done starting during pregnancy. Nutritional intake in pregnant women can be done by consuming quality food. In an effort to fulfill nutrition for pregnant women and children by consuming nutritious snacks, this service conducted training on making cassava leaf tempeh to mothers in the Bukit Surungan village, West Padang Panjang, Padang Panjang City on July 29, 2022. The training activity began with an explanation of the content of cassava leaf tempeh and how to make cassava leaf tempeh. Next, there was a demonstration of how to make tempeh from cassava leaves and the processing of cassava leaf tempeh that had been prepared previously into fried cassava leaf tempeh. The training participants said they liked cassava leaf tempeh and were interested in processing cassava leaves into tempeh to get additional food with high nutritional value for pregnant women, toddlers and children.

Abstract

Catfish (Clarias sp.) is one of the freshwater commodities that is favored because of its high economic value, rich in protein, can be cultivated in narrow land or yards and of course much in demand by the public. Efforts to develop in cultivation continue to be made, including an increase in seed production. The purpose of this activity is to provide training to partners in this case are students of the Department of Fisheries Cultivation, SMKN 1 Sebatik Barat regarding the semi-artificial spawning system (injection mating) and enrichment of feed with turmeric flour to support increased production and quality of catfish seeds. The methods used are socialization and counseling with lectures, hands-on practice related to injecting mating techniques with ovaprim hormone and making feed enriched with turmeric flour. The results of the activity showed an increase in partner knowledge regarding the benefits of turmeric and the role of hormone use in hatchery activities. In addition, partners have also been able to select gonadally mature broodstock, make feed enriched with turmeric flour and perform injection mating of catfish with hormones appropriately. The hope for follow-up is that partners can apply the techniques that have been learned for hatchery activities so that the scarcity of seeds, especially in Sebatik Barat, can be overcome and no longer have to bring in from outside.

Abstract

Community participation in reducing the quantity or volume of waste as well as managing waste is one of the most important parts in tackling the waste problem, especially in big cities. Reduction or reduction in the amount and volume of waste is an effort made to minimize the presence of waste. The waste bank is a means for the community that is used to manage waste that has economic value. In the residential area of Villa Pertiwi Block P Rt.004 Rw.015, Sukamaju Village, Cilodong District, Depok. In the process of processing and storing waste bank customer data, they still use the manual method, namely by recording every transaction into a book, so that problems often arise such as damaged or lost data, data duplication, and report books that are left more and more and accumulate. Therefore, by implementing training and implementing and using a web-based waste bank application system, it can make it easier to process and store customer data in the operational activities of the waste bank. Customers can register as waste bank customers through the waste bank information system, making it easier to validate data and recap customer data collection, admins can print deposit data reports from customers' waste bank results.

Abstract

Tempalak fish obtained from the former lead has accumulated lead heavy metal with an average of 1.33 mg/Kg The value exceeds the safety threshold of 0.3 mg/Kg. Research results that show the potential danger of heavy metals in fish obtained from kolong if consumed by humans need to be socialized to stakeholders related to the community. This information is expected to be a warning and disseminated to the public to be vigilant. The socialization to Sungaiselan Atas Village will be held on November 10, 2022. The location of the service is at the Sungaiselan Atas Village office in Sungai Selan District, Bangka Tengah Regency. The implementation of socialization uses a discussion approach with village officials to provide information about the heavy metal content of fish caught from the kolong. The results of this initial research were received by the Sungai Selan Atas village to be the subject of their discussion with the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this training activity is to improve the ability of teachers to prepare Classroom Action Research (CAR) proposals. Classroom action research is thus one of the abilities that must be possessed by teachers to maintain the professionalism of their performance. The training participants were Mts and MA Huffadh Al-Itqoniyyah teachers, totaling 25 people divided into 5 groups. This training is scheduled in two activities. The first activity is the delivery of material related to the preparation of class action research proposals which is carried out offline once. While the second activity is assisting training participants in preparing class action research proposals which are carried out online through the WA Group, Zoom, and GMeet. The results of this activity are in the form of output proposals, where 60% of the training participants are able to complete the assignments or the output of the training is in the form of class action research proposals. Meanwhile, 40% of the participants could not complete the output due to limited time and busyness of the participants. Of the 3 PTK proposals that were the outputs of this activity, 2 proposals were assessed with good criteria and 1 proposal with very good criteria.
