Entalpi Pendidikan Kimia is a journal that aims to share findings, result and review of research done by scholars in the filed of chemistry education. Entalpi Pendidikan Kimia Journal publishes either research articles or reviews that relate to the field of chemistry education. Abstract

Benzene and its derivatives are aromatic compounds studied on the second semester of grade XII SMA/MA. Structure, nomenclature, physical properties, chemical reactions, uses and harmful and harmless benzene derivatives are the material studied on this topic. In the discussion of this material has interconnected regularities. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is one of the learning models used to study this material. Producing student worksheet-based PBL and determining the validity categories were the purposes of this study. 4-D models (define, design, develop, disseminate) were used in this study. This study is limited to the develop stage, namely the validity test. The product was validated by 3 chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP and 2 chemistery teachers at SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya. The instrument validity questionnaire was analyzed by using the Aiken V formula. The results of the analysis revealed that the developed LKPD was “very valid” resulting 0,85.

Abstract

Chemistry is a branch of natural science that is closely related to everyday life. Until now, it is mandatory to learn at the high school level is chemistry subject matter of chemical equilibrium. Chemistry lessons at this time tend not to be of interest to students because they are considered difficult. Based on data from interviews with several chemistry teachers at SMA 14 Padang, the material for chemical equilibrium was still difficult for students to understand, where learning at school was still teacher-centered. The solution is to apply the LSLC-based GDL model to encourage active students and improve quality and improve the course of a learning process. this type of research is quasi-experimental. the results of the research data are normally distributed and homogeneous, so the hypothesis test that is carried out is the t-test with 0.03 < 0.05. That is, the learning outcomes with chemical equilibrium material for students who were given treatment using the LSLC-based GDL model were higher than the learning outcomes of students who applied the GDL model without LSLC.

Abstract

The selection of learning models that have not been carried out optimally by educators so that a learning system is needed that supports this learning model. One learning system that can be applied is a lesson study-based learning system for learning communities. The key to the implementation of lesson study for learning community is in the reflection (see) stage so that the learning process has increased and has an impact on increasing teacher competence and improving student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to reveal the effect of the guided inquiry learning model based on lesson study for learning community on salt hydrolysis material on student learning outcomes of SMAN 10 Padang. This research is a quasi-experimental in the form of nonequivalent control group design. The analysis carried out obtained the results of data that were normally distributed and the variance was homogeneous so that it fulfilled the requirements of the t-test and obtained a sig(2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that the guided inquiry learning model based on lesson study for learning community on salt hydrolysis material has a significant effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The learning process carried out at MAS PSA Sulit Air still uses the lecture method and the learning resources used are in the form of textbooks, and have never used learning modules, thus causing students to be less active in the learning process. While in the 2013 curriculum it is said that during the learning process students must be actively involved. Efforts to make students actively involved in the learning process is to use teaching materials in the form of learning modules. This study aims to reveal the effect of using the buffer solution module on the learning outcomes of class XI IPA students at MAS PSA Sulit Air. Type of research is a quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The research instrument used was a test of student learning outcomes in the form of 25 objective questions that had been tested. The data from the test results show that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous, so that hypothesis testing can be carried out with the t-test. From the results of the t-test, obtained Tcount>Ttable at a significant level of 0.05, it is stated that H1 is accepted. This means that the experimental class student learning outcomes are significantly higher than the control class. The results showed that the use of the buffer solution material module could improve student learning outcomes in class XI IPA at MAS PSA Sulit Air.

Abstract

Variation of learning media is e-LKPD (electronic Student Worksheet) with Flip PDF Professional. Making e-LKPD is an effort to improve critical thinking skills, understanding concepts and linking the acquired knowledge to real life through integrated learning. The approach that can be used is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) which is usually followed by several learning models, one of which is PjBL (Project Based Learning). The purpose of this study was to develop an integrated STEM-PjBL e-LKPD on acid-base material for class XI SMA. This type of research is Research and Development which uses a 4-D development model, define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data analysis used is validity and practicality. The data analysis technique uses Aiken'sV to analyze the validity of the data and Kappa Aiken'sV Cohen to analyze the practicality of the data. The average Aikken'sV validity test scale is 0.85 with a very high validity category. Aikken'sV scale. The practical kappa moment of the teacher's practicality sheet is 0.90 in the very high category and from the student's practicality sheet, 0.82 is in the high category. This shows that the integrated STEM PjBL e-LKPD on acid-base material for class XI SMA which was developed is valid and practical as a learning media.

Abstract

Dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran kimia, dosen membutuhkan perangkat pembelajaran untuk memudahkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Dua perangkat pembelajaran yang sering dikembangkan oleh dosen adalah Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) dan buku ajar. Namun sering kali RPS dan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan belum sesuai dengan Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI). Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan RPS dan buku ajar kimia bahan pangan yang sesuai dengan tuntutan KKNI. Model pengembangan buku ajar yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis > Design > Development > Implementation > Evaluation) namun pada penelitian ini hanya sampai tahap development. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan instrumen analisis RPS dan BSNP. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Uji kelayakan dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli pengembangan. Komentar, tanggapan dan saran yang diberikan digunakan untuk merevisi dan memperbaiki RPS dan buku ajar yang dikembangkan. Hasil penilaian kelayakan oleh para ahli menunjukkan RPS dan buku ajar sudah sangat layak digunakan untuk proses perkuliahan kimia pangan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar mahasiswa UIN Walisongo saat pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Penelitian ini dilakukan di UIN Walisongo Semarang dengan melibatkan 60 mahasiswa pendidikan kimia dari semester 2 sampai 6. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik survey dengan skala likert. Adapun survey dibuat dalam google form agar mudah diakses oleh mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menghitung presentase data dari setiap indikatornya. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa saat pembelajaran di kelas motivasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan kimia UIN Walisongo Semarang dalam kategori cukup, hal tersebut didapatkan dari skor rata-rata presentase motivasi belajar yang berjumlah 46,31%.

Abstract

Materi sistem koloid merupakan materi yang dipelajari di kelas XI SMA/MA pada semester genap. Hasil wawancara beberapa guru kimia di MAN 1 Kota Padang menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar pada materi sistem koloid cenderung berpusat pada pendidik dan hanya menampilkan 2 dari 3 level representasi kimia, sehingga peserta didik cenderung pasif. Materi sistem koloid bersifat faktual dan teoritis, oleh karena itu diperlukannya media pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk menguji tingkat keefektifan media pembelajaran PowerPoint interaktif berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi sistem koloid terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MAN 1 Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian yaitu quasi experiment dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil analisis data yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai n-gain yang tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan skor sedang. Keputusan pada uji hipotesis yaitu H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan analisis data tersebut artinya penggunaan media pembelajaran PowerPoint interaktif berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi sistem koloid efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Model mental merupakan representasi mental pribadi peserta didik terhadap suatu ide atau konsep. Model mental mewakili ide-ide dalam pikiran individu yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan dan menjelaskan suatu fenomena. Model mental peserta didik sangat penting untuk diketahui oleh guru karena dapat mengetahui tingkat pemahaman, kesulitan, dan miskonsepsi yang dialami peserta didik. Model mental peserta didik dapat diketahui dengan memberikan suatu tes diagnostik. Oleh karena, itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Instrumen Tes Diagnostik Four-Tier Untuk Melihat Gambaran Model Mental Peserta Didik Pada Materi Asam Basa yang memenuhi kriteria instrumen tes yang baik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research and development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Treagust (1988). Berdasarkan hasil validasi terhadap lima orang validator, instrumen tes diagnostik dinyatakan valid dari segi konten dan konstruk dengan nilai rata-rata 0,84. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terhadap peserta didik, didapatkan nilai relibilitas instrumen tes diagnostik pada tingkat pertama (first-tier) dan tingkat ketiga (third-tier) adalah sebesar 0,84 dan 0,83 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indtrumen tes diagnostik yang dikembangkan sudah valid dan sudah memiliki kriteria instrumen tes yang baik.

Abstract

The Validity of buffer solution e-modules based on problem-based learning has been conducted. This study aimed to determine the category of Validity of buffer solution e-Modules based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has been developed. The type of research conducted is educational design research (EDR) with a plomp development model. The Plomp development model consists of 3 stages: preliminary research, prototyping stage, and assessment phase. However, this research is limited to the prototype III. Validation of e-modules using a questionnaire instrument consisting of content, constructs, graphics and language aspects. Seven validators validate the module. The results of the validity data analysis show that the module generated meets the valid criteria in terms of content, constructs, graphics and language aspects.
