Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of the surrounding community on the existence of localization of PSKBatu Merah Tanjung, Sirimau District, Ambon City. When viewed from the objective, this type of research isdescriptive qualitative research, this research is descriptive analytic research. The data collection techniques used inthis study were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. As for the determination of informants, researchers used random sampling techniques or random samples, according to the level of education of the head ofthe family who lives in the brothel as a respondent to provide supporting information in strengthening informationfrom the community. The results showed that the perception of the community around the localization of PSK BatuMerah Tanjung, most of the residents had a tendency to have almost the same perception, that is, each of themtended to have a positive perception, in seeing the existing settlement conditions. This can be seen from theperception of the surrounding community towards the existence of the localization of PSK Batu Merah Tanjung has agood social life between CSWs and the surrounding community and vice versa, the community with CSWs. This isevident when every environmental service program programmed by the local RT, is always involved with CSWs withcommunity members. From the explanation above, women who work as CSWs also have the same social spirit as thesurrounding community, and what distinguishes CSWs from the surrounding community is the perception of beingCSWs used by the community, which is seen from the social relations between the local community and CSWs. Sothat the people who live around the prostitution area are very happy with the existence of CSWs. This is strengthenedby the results of direct interviews with respondents who stated that most of the people living around the TanjungBatu Merah lokalisasi are mostly immigrants such as the Bugis, Buton, Makassar and Batu Merah villagersthemselves who are married to immigrant communities such as the Bugis, Buton and Makassar.

Abstract

The background for designing TikTok-Based Learning Media is the lack of interest and attention of students in learning, and students using the TikTok application just for fun and not using the TikTok application for learning so that they spend more time playing games than studying. This research was conducted at MTsN 2 Payakumbuh. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) with the Luther-Sutopo version of the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) development model which consists of 6 stages, namely conceptualization, design, materialcollection, manufacturing process, testing and distribution. While the design of TikTok-BasedLearning Media was made using Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, and the TikTok application itself. The results of this study are TikTok-Based Learning Media products in the form of videos. With the results of the validity test of 0.86 which was declared valid, the results of the Practicality test of 0.92 which were declared very practical, and the results of the effectiveness test of 0.85 which were declared very effective. So it can be concluded that TikTok-Based Learning Media as alearning media is valid, practical and effective. So it can be concluded that the TikTok-BasedLearning Media used as a learning medium is valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

This research was motivated by several problems such as the implementation of teacher learning more delivering material with the lecture method, science learning media in class VIII SMP Negeri 9Pariaman not yet using Android-based interactive learning media which contains science material. The learning media used by the teacher is less varied, the media used previously was Power Point. The purpose of this research is to design interactive learning media for natural science subjects based on Android class VIII at SMP Negeri 9 Pariaman that are valid, practical and effective. The research method used in this study is the Research And Development (R&D) method using the 4D version approach, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Luther Sutopo's version of the multimedia development model which consists of six stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution, the product test used in this study is a validity test, namely content, construct and language using the Aiken's V formula. Practicality test by the teacher science subjects using the Moment Kappa formula and the effectiveness test by students using the N-Gain formula. The results of the study of science learning media used by teachers and students in science subjects. The form of this learning media is in the form of an Android-based apk that can be used on students' Android smartphones. Meanwhile, for the product validity test of 0.87 which was declared valid, the results of the practicality test of 0.83 which were stated to be very practical and the results of the effectivenesstest of 0.84 which were declared effective. So it can be concluded that the Android-based sciencelearning media as a learning medium is valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) produce a valid CTL approach-based energy change science module product for third grade elementary school students, (2) produce a practical energy change charge science module product based on a practical CTL approach for third grade elementary school students, (3 ) produces an effective science module for energy change based on the CTL approach for third grade elementary schoolstudents. Needs analysis in this study is that teachers and students still use teaching materials in the form of thematic printed books, even teachers still use the lecture method in linking learning materials related to contextual (reality) and in thematic printed books related to energy change materials that are too short and have little material. In addition, the pictures in the thematic books are less varied in relating them to contextual matters. This research and development uses the ADDIE model development procedure (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The subjects of this study were students of class III-A SD Negeri 117 Palembang with a total of 24 students. The quality criteria for the science module on energy change can be seen from the validation results of material, language, and media experts. The results of module validity based on material expert validation are 94.% categorized as veryvalid, linguist validation is 78% valid, media validation results are 90% categorized as very valid, and 70% practitioner validation is categorized as very practical. Then the assessment of the Small Group student response questionnaire is 99% categorized as very good. Based on what has been described, the IPA module based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach is very feasible to use.

Abstract

Learning to use WhatsApp media in the form of an unstable network connection, allowing students to be late in sending their assignments. Students sometimes do not focus on learning because they are busy opening other applications. Students sometimes do not understand the learning material given by the teacher because of the lack of explanation given by the teacher. As a result of students not understanding the learning material, it also has an impact on student delays in collecting the given assignments and on the results of daily tests students do not reach the KKM. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling type. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique that is considered by researchers when taking samples with characteristics. The type of research used is correlational. Correlational research is aresearch conducted to determine the relationship of a variable with other variables. The type of research instrument is a questionnaire or questionnaire. To test the data using SPSS 22. The technique of filling in the data is using a questionnaire. The tests carried out were validity, reliability, normality test, linearity test, hypothesis testing and R square test to see the effect of using WhatsApp on student learning outcomes. Theresult of the value of sig. (2-tailed) each variable X and Y that is <0.05. Judging from the value of rcount > rtable, the rtable value is 0.312. For the results of the reliability test, the X variable has Cronbach's alpha > 0.06. The value of X variable is 0.653 so it is said to be reliable. This shows that the instrument is in the form of a questionnaire that can be used to determine the effect of variable X. After processing, the R2 value is0.765, which means that the variable using WhatsApp has a strong influence on student learning outcomes or 76.5%.
