Gurutta of Education: Journal of Islamic Religious Education Studies and Islamic Education Issues (e-ISSN: 2829-6737) It is published twice a year in June and December. The Journal of Islamic Religious Education is published by the Masters Study Program of Islamic Religious Education Postgraduate Program at the Muslim University of Indonesia and contains scientific writings on the study of Islamic Religious Education and related studies. It contains various thoughts in various forms, such as research results, conceptual ideas, and empirical experiences. In its development, Gurutta Journal pioneered online publishing and expanded the range of contributors from all over the archipelago. In the future, JGE will expand the scope of contributors from several Islamic countries and other countries that have an interest in the study of Islamic education in the archipelago and internationally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang Strategi Pendidik Dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membaca Al-Qur'an Siswa di TPA Babur Rahman Katimbang, Kecamatan Gantarang, Kabupaten Bulukumba. Pokok permasalahan yang diteliti adalah: (1) Bagaimana strategi pendidik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca al-Qur'an siswa di TPA Babur Rahman Katimbang Kec. Gantara Kab. Bulukumba. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan, jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif. Dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data melalui display dan verifikasi data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan pendidik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca Al-Qur'an peserta didik adalah strategi mengidentifikasi kemampuan awal peserta didik, ekspositori, strategi pembelajaran privat, kerjasama antara pendidik dan koordinasi pendidik dengan orang tua/wali peserta didik. Strategi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Alquran siswa. Ditandai dengan peningkatan bacaan setiap bulannya. This study analyzes the Strategies of Educators in Improving Students' Reading Skills of the Qur'an at TPA Babur Rahman Kaimbang, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. The main problems studied are: (1) What is the strategy of educators in improving students' reading skills of the Qur'an at TPA Babur Rahman Kaimbang Kec. Gantara Kab. Bulukumba. This research is a field research, the type of qualitative research using a descriptive research approach. In collecting data using the method of documentation, observation, and interviews. Data analysis through display and data verification and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the strategies used by educators in improving students' reading skills of the Qur'an were strategies to identify students' initial abilities, expository, private learning strategies, collaboration between educators and coordination of educators with parents/guardians of students. This strategy is effective in improving students' reading ability of the Koran. Marked by an increase in readings every month.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kondisi pendidikan karakter pada siswa saat ini. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya kesenjangan sosial, seringnya tawuran antar siswa, bahkan antar sekolah, yang mencerminkan masih rendahnya karakter siswa. Dengan demikian, diperlukan cara-cara untuk membentuk karakter siswa menjadi lebih baik. Lembaga pendidikan seperti SMPN 8, menjadi alternatif bagi anak atau siswa untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan dan penerapan karakter yang baik, karena sekolah mengembangkan proses pendidikan karakter melalui proses pembelajaran, pembiasaan, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, kerjasama dengan keluarga dan masyarakat dalam pengembangannya. . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data adalah penyajian data, verifikasi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter berbasis Islam di SPN 8 Makassar merupakan upaya pembinaan dan pengembangan kepribadian peserta didiknya, agar selalu bertindak dan berperilaku sesuai dengan ajaran Islam yang diajarkan dan dicontohkan oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW. This study analyzes the current state of character education in students. This is indicated by the existence of social inequality, frequent brawls between students, even between schools, which reflects the low character of students. Thus, we need ways to shape the character of students for the better. Educational institutions such as SMPN 8, become an alternative for children or students to gain knowledge and apply good character, because schools develop character education processes through the learning process, habituation, extracurricular activities, collaboration with families and communities in its development. . The research method used is descriptive, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis techniques are data presentation, data verification and drawing conclusions. The results show that Islamic-based character education at SPN 8 Makassar is an effort to foster and develop the personality of the students, so that they always act and behave in accordance with Islamic teachings that were taught and exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

Pokok permasalahan yang diteliti antara lain bagaimana penerapan metode active training untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada bidang pendidikan agama Islam di kelas X IPA 1 SMAN 1 Luwu Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan pada semester gasal tahun pelajaran 2020-2021 yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas X IPA 1 SMAN 1 Luwu Timur dengan jumlah siswa 17 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara kualitatif yang diperoleh dari observasi selama proses pembelajaran selama pembelajaran, dan data kuantitatif diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar pada setiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Dan kualitas pembelajaran ditandai dengan meningkatnya keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran sesuai dengan hasil observasi selama tindakan kelas dari pra siklus I sampai siklus II, dan rata-rata nilai akhir pra siklus sebesar 29%, terjadi peningkatan siklus I, 82% dan pada siklus II mencapai 100%. dan rata-rata kelas pra siklus adalah 67, terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I menjadi 87 dan siklus II menjadi 94. Kesimpulannya metode pelatihan aktif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPA 1 di SMAN 1 Luwu Timur. The main problems studied include how to apply the active training method to improve student learning outcomes in the field of Islamic religious education in class X IPA 1 SMAN 1 Luwu Timur. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in the odd semester of the 2020-2021 academic year which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was conducted in class X IPA 1 SMAN 1 Luwu Timur with 17 students. Data was collected qualitatively obtained from observations during the learning process during learning, and quantitative data obtained from learning outcomes tests in each cycle. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes. And the quality of learning is characterized by increased student activity in learning in accordance with the results of observations during class actions from pre-cycle I to cycle II, and the average pre-cycle final score is 29%, an increase in cycle I, 82% and in cycle II it reaches 100 %. and the average pre-cycle class was 67, there was an increase in the first cycle to 87 and the second cycle to 94. In conclusion, the active training method can improve the learning outcomes of students in class X IPA 1 at SMAN 1 Luwu Timur.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dan guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Kota Makassar (2) faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar Kota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian lapangan. Sedangkan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Sumber data yang diperoleh terdiri dari Kepala Madrasah, guru dan staf Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar dilakukan dalam berbagai kegiatan, yaitu: a) penerapan nilai karakter pada mata pelajaran dengan menggunakan citraan, membuat perbandingan dengan kejadian serupa dalam kehidupan siswa. . b) implementasi nilai karakter dalam pengembangan diri terprogram dan tidak terprogram seperti pembiasaan keteladanan, pembiasaan spontan dan pembiasaan rutin, c) pengkondisian nilai karakter di lingkungan sekolah seperti menyediakan tempat cuci tangan. (2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar yaitu dari faktor keluarga, guru, lingkungan dan pribadi siswa. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the implementation of character education carried out by the principal and teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar City (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of character education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. This research uses a field research approach. While the data collection using observation, documentation and interviews. Sources of data obtained consisted of the Head of Madrasah, teachers and staff of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar City. The results showed that (1) the implementation of character education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar was carried out in various activities, namely: a) the application of character values ​​in subjects using imagery, making comparisons with similar events in students' lives. . b) implementation of character values ​​in programmed and non-programmed self-development such as exemplary habituation, spontaneous habituation and routine habituation, c) conditioning of character values ​​in the school environment such as providing a place for washing hands. (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of character education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Makassar, namely from family, teacher, environmental and personal factors of students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana upaya guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar pendidikan agama Islam pada siswa di SMP Negeri 38 Bulukumba. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan dilakukan di SMP Negeri 38 Bulukumba. Subyek penelitian adalah guru PAI di SMP Negeri 38 Bulukumba, sedangkan informannya adalah Kepala Sekolah dan siswa di SMP Negeri 38 Bulukumba. Kegiatan pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triruption metode. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif dengan langkah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar pendidikan agama Islam di kalangan siswa adalah 1) menerapkan berbagai metode dengan menggabungkan metode, 2) menggunakan media yang menarik, 3) menerapkan sistem pengulangan klasikal, 4) pemberian evaluasi, 5) pemberian hadiah. Sedangkan beberapa kendala dalam upaya guru untuk meningkatkan motivasi adalah 1) sebagian siswa belum memahami materi, 2) kurangnya minat dan semangat siswa untuk belajar, 3) kurangnya media yang menarik dalam pembelajaran, 4) kurangnya adaptasi terhadap pembelajaran. pelajaran praktek langsung, 5) materi terlalu banyak. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the teacher's efforts in increasing the motivation to learn Islamic religious education in students at SMP Negeri 38 Bulukumba. This study used a qualitative descriptive study and was conducted at SMP Negeri 38 Bulukumba. The research subjects were PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 38 Bulukumba, while the informants were the principal and students at SMP Negeri 38 Bulukumba. Data collection activities using interviews, observation and documentation. The data validity technique uses source triangulation and triruption methods. Meanwhile, data analysis used interactive analysis with steps of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. From this study, it is known that the efforts made by teachers in increasing the motivation to learn Islamic religious education among students are 1) applying various methods by combining methods, 2) using interesting media, 3) applying the classical repetition system, 4) giving evaluations, 5) gift-giving. While some of the obstacles in the teacher's efforts to increase motivation are 1) some students do not understand the material, 2) lack of interest and enthusiasm of students to learn, 3) lack of interesting media in learning, 4) lack of adaptation to learning. hands-on practical lessons, 5) too much material.

Abstract

The efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in fostering student morals have an important role. Moral development in students actually determines the moral portrait of students and can be a measure of the success and failure of education, especially Islamic education. Teachers have a strategic role in fostering the morals of these students so that their functions and roles can be maximized, especially Islamic religious education teachers. Teachers must be able to become uswatun hasanah which later what the teacher does will be imitated by students in real life, in an effort to foster student morals, a teacher must familiarize students with noble and religious character by facilitating students with material, worship practices, reading the Koran, mutual respect and commendable character. The purpose of this study is to discuss the efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Fostering Morals of Students at State Junior High School 2 Maros, and the Effectiveness of Moral Development at State Junior High School 2 Maros.This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data is processed by interpretive qualitative analysis starting with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate some efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in fostering student morals at the State Junior High School 2 Maros. Among them are: a) Exemplary, b) Habituation, c) Advice, d) Rewards, e) Punishment f) Order. The effectiveness of moral development at the public junior high school 2 Maros is in the Effective category, as evidenced by the effectiveness ratio data, which is 81, the level of Effective Achievement

Abstract

One of the effective forces that determine the success of a school or educational institution in achieving its goals is the leadership of the principal. The principal is one of the components of education that has the most role in improving the quality of education. Quality education refers to a quality education. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of the principal's leadership at SDIT Ibnul Qayyim Makassar in improving the quality of education at the school. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this research are the Principal, Deputy Principal, SDIT Ibnul Qayyim educators and the data collection methods are observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. Data analysis went through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the role of the SDIT IQIS principal has been very good as evidenced by the programs that have been carried out in an effort to improve the quality of the curriculum, the learning process, the quality of students, the quality of teachers and education staff.

Abstract

Moral education seeks to create situations and conditions in such a way that students are encouraged and moved in soul and heart to behave and be civilized, or good manners, in accordance with the expectations of educational institutions. In this study, preparations, methods, approaches, and values were used to apply moral development to determine the process and effectiveness of moral development. that the time required to see the success of the coach in implementing moral development depends on the method and approach used. Also look at the readiness of students to accept the methods and approaches applied. The results of this study concluded that the strategy of moral development at the Rahmatul Asri Modern Islamic Boarding School uses several methods and approaches, namely: the hiwar/dialogue method, the qur'ani or prophetic story method, the uswah/exemplary method, the ta'widiyah/habituation method, the tsawab/reward method, methods of fostering cleanliness, and methods of punishment. The approaches are: the personal approach and the attention approach.

Abstract

The Sakinah Heritage is an effort by the Directorate General of Islamic Guidance at the Ministry of Religion to transform the Office of Religious Affairs into a better direction through the synergy between Penghulu and Religious Counselors. The aim is to find out the extent of the Sakinah heritage program through the Office of Religious Affairs and the effectiveness of employee performance in improving the quality of marriage services in Makassar City. This research method uses qualitative methods with the reason that the questions are open so that researchers can be flexible and develop questions because researchers want to describe and analyze the implementation of the transformation of the Sakinah heritage program through the religious affairs office (KUA) in Makassar city. The results of research at the Biringkanaya religious affairs office show that the Biringkanaya sub-district religious affairs office has an area of 48.22 km2, a population of 234,632 people, and the number of marriage events/year is 1,063. Judging from the religion adopted, it is noted that the majority of the population of Biringkanaya Sub-district is Muslim. The number of places of worship is quite adequate. There are 266 mosques, 14 prayer rooms (langgar/surau), and 23 churches.

Abstract

Until August 2021, the number of unemployed SMK graduates reached 11.13 percent of the total number of unemployed people in Indonesia. Principals are required to be active, creative, innovative, and productive in order to prepare their students or graduates to have academic and professional abilities in the field of competence to apply, develop, and disseminate science, technology, and art so that they can compete in DU/DI because improving the quality of education will have an impact on people's interest in choosing these schools. To obtain data, the authors use observation data, interviews, and documentation. Observations are to observe a number of school residents at SMK Negeri 2 Barru and interviews with school principals and teachers to find out the strategy and effectiveness of principal leadership in improving the quality of education at SMK Negeri 2 Barru. The results of the study concluded that the principal's strategy at SMK Negeri 2 Barru in improving the quality of education is to prepare school planning and development, improve discipline, increase graduate competence, prepare quality human resources, hold extracurricular activities and establish cooperation with school residents, committees, guardians of students, alumni, and educational institutions
