Abstract

Writing history (historiography) of modern Indonesia begins with the desire of historians to implement historical methodology with new patterns in accordance with Indonesia centric. This was due to the fact that the writing style of previous Indonesian history was still heavily oriented towards the Dutch East Indies centric, so there was a need for downward socialization, especially to MGMP SMA/MA teachers in Kediri City. Historiography Writing Assistance at the Surowono Temple Site aims to: (1) improve teachers' skills in good historical writing (historiography) in accordance with the principles of History; (2) increasing teacher expertise in developing local history teaching with the study object of Surowono Temple. The implementation method in this community service activity is the training method, which has several stages starting from design, implementation (lectures, discussions, demonstrations), and evaluation. Participants acquire new skills, especially in historical writing based on the local history of Kediri, namely the Surowono Temple. Participants can read the temple reliefs with a semiotic approach, by comparing them with previous reliefs and making conclusions. Based on the mentoring activities carried out, from 22 MGMP History SMA/MA teachers in Kediri City, it was found that 18 teachers were very satisfied with this activity and were able to complete the task well. The four teachers experienced difficulties in accessing digital resources, so it can be concluded that this mentoring activity was successful.

Abstract

Highly developed technology is utilized for various purposes, including by MSMEs. Most people feel that technology has an impact on independence, especially internet use. Utilization of the internet as a means of information technology to carry out business activities for MSMEs. This Community Service Activity aims to provide education through counseling regarding the use of website-based digital marketing as a promotional and marketing medium in the livestock sector in the city of Parepare, South Sulawesi. The method used in this service uses the ABCD method, which provides assistance in implementing website-based digital marketing for chicken farmers in the city of Parepare. The result of this Community Service activity is that mentoring has had a positive impact on chicken farmers in Parepare City in the form of increasing sales, increasing brand awareness, strengthening skills, and improving product quality. In this training, the role of companions is very important in providing support, guidance and motivation for the community. With this community service, people in Parepare City can increase their knowledge about the use of website-based digital marketing as an effective means of promoting and marketing livestock products. The results of the participant evaluation after attending training on the use of website-based marketing media, 100% of participants stated that they strongly agreed with using website-based marketing media for promotional media for chicken farming products. Of the 20 chicken farmer participants who took part in the training, most have understand how to do website-based online marketing.

Abstract

Horticulture functions to meet physical needs as a source of vitamins, minerals and protein, based on observations in Citeureup 1 Village there are people who carry out horticultural activities but the people in the village still do not use natural biopesticides, with the results of observations and interviews, the Utilization of Kitchen Materials program is realized as Pest Control To Reduce Dependence On Chemical Pesticides. Kitchen ingredients can be used as natural pesticides that can eradicate pests. The method of implementing this program is counseling, training and mentoring. The purpose of this program is for people to switch from using chemicals to natural ingredients and minimize expenses. The method of implementing this program is counseling, training and mentoring which will be carried out to the people of Dusun Citeureup 1 RT 01 and 02 will be implemented through housewives who do cultivation horticulture, farmer groups and village communities with a target of 10 participants. Based on the activity "Utilization of Kitchen Materials as Pest Management to Reduce Dependence on Chemical Pesticides" in Citeureup 1 Hamlet, Kutamukti Village, Kutawaluya District,the result it can be concluded that this community service activity has an impact, namely village communities who are present in activities to gain knowledge and information about kitchen ingredients can It is used as a pesticide to prevent pests in plants. Part of the community has also applied Biopesticides to their plants, which means that the purpose of this activity is to divert the use of chemicals that can be said to be successful.

Abstract

The tax awareness training for SMEs in Luragung Village, Kuningan Regency, responds to the low understanding and compliance with taxation at the local level. It was found that most SMEs lack sufficient understanding of tax obligations and the benefits of tax compliance, which impacts business development and financial health. Involving 20 SMEs from various industrial sectors, the program employs a combination of socialization, education, and training. Initial socialization covers basic understanding of taxation, while educational sessions provide in-depth insights. Evaluation through questionnaires, group discussions, and direct observations is conducted to measure program effectiveness. The results indicate an increase in awareness, tax compliance, and financial health among SMEs in Luragung Village.

Abstract

A clean environment will reflect the conditions of the people who live in it. Environmental empowerment is a shared goal that must be created together as well. This environmental empowerment activity is carried out through the work program of the Candidate Undergraduate Service (KSM-T) of the Islamic University of Malang which is an activity based on community service to increase student empathy for the conditions of society and the environment. The candidate for the Bachelor of Service (KSM-T) at the Islamic University of Malang was held in the Kitchen Manahayu Dusun Sumbersari, Giripurno Village, Batu City, using the methods of socialization, education and mentoring and evaluation. This program has succeeded in helping environmental protection in order to reduce the impact of environmental pollution and be able to maintain a healthy, beautiful and clean environment. In addition, the waste that is sorted in the trash can makes it easier for the waste management process at the final level.

Abstract

MSMEs in Sawojajar, Malang City, East Java Province are experiencing problems in developing their business, because they are not optimizing digital marketing creatively in marketing their products. With this training, it makes it easier for MSMEs to develop their business not only in the surrounding environment but can be recognized on a national scale. This activity aims to facilitate MSMEs who will develop their product marketing through Google Business and WhatsApp Business, so that MSMEs can use digital media professionally and reliably. With this activity, it is hoped that MSMEs in Sawojajar, Malang City, will be able to sell their products online and expand their market share outside Malang City. The method used in this activity is conducting situation analysis, needs analysis, providing training to MSMEs related to creative digital marketing, evaluating the results of the training, then conclusions and suggestions. The result of this activity is that MSME players have a Google Business account to make it easier to find their business location and can operate sales with Whatsapp Business and know how to increase sales on Whatsapp Business. This activity also provides benefits for lecturers at the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as implementers of the activity, so that they can implement the knowledge they have (especially digital marketing knowledge) to the wider community.

Abstract

One measure of the effectiveness of the learning activity process is the inventiveness of the students. Pupils that demonstrate originality in their study will be acknowledged through a variety of methods. Enhancing students' creative storytelling skills during the learning process is the goal of this service project. Training in creating educational films with three-dimensional animation will be provided to service activity participants. This community service activity (PkM) applies the use of animated film making applications in learning at Al Irsyad Middle School. The PKM activity was attended by 14 class IX students of SMP Al Irsyad Surakarta. The implementation method used in this PkM activity is preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Training on how to make animated films using the Toontastic 3D application and direct practice in making animated films, as well as two-way discussions. Assistance for this training is through guidance to students via WhatsApp after the training takes place. The results of the activity evaluation in the form of a questionnaire regarding student motivation after participating in training in making learning media using animated films, showed that participants were very satisfied with an average score of 4.6 for the training activity. Students are able to practice how to make animated films themselves. That's why this training is said to be successful. This feedback shows satisfaction and provides participants with good enough motivation to participate in the training delivered. This service activity also provided a good response from partners.

Abstract

With the advancement of technology and science, health problems related to drug use in Indonesian society are increasing. One of the factors is the lack of understanding among the public about the proper use of drugs. Therefore, the DAGUSIBU drug program is the right solution to address this problem. However, the village of Mulyorejo, Ngantang has never received any socialization about this program. The aim of this study is to increase public knowledge about how to obtain, use, store, and dispose of drugs rationally. This empowerment program was conducted using the method of preparation, counseling, which includes demonstration, interactive discussion, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test, as well as evaluation. The  activities were carried out with enthusiasm and active participation from the participants. The socialization program went smoothly, with high enthusiasm from the participants. This can support the government's program in improving public health through the Gerakan Keluarga Sadar Obat (GKSO). In addition, the post-test results showed that the participants' knowledge of DAGUSIBU drugs significantly increased, enabling them to avoid mistakes in drug use. Through this socialization, the public can gain useful knowledge about proper drug use. This can be applied in daily life and provide benefits for the environment and family.

Abstract

Dependence on the need for electrical energy on PLN will undoubtedly require a high cost. Energy independence around the PPPI Al-Ittihad hut as a partner can minimize expenses and realize an Islamic life based on information technology and independence in energy. This problem has prompted the Malang State University community service team to install solar panels at PPPI Al-Ittihad based on smart PLTS that can be monitored in real-time. This installation serves as a source of electrical energy to meet the electricity needs of PPPI Al-Ittihad. Community service is carried out by observing, calculating load requirements, making designs, installing solar cell systems, and installing solar panel systems. The electricity generated by the smart PLTS is used for the daily needs of PPPI Al-Ittihad. Besides that, the PLTS could be the renewable energy learning media for students and IoT-based information technology. The installation of PLTS is very useful for PPPI Al-Ittihad, which has a daily power load of 4 kWh to reduce the estimated cost of electricity consumption which previously depended on PLN.

Abstract

The inability of educators at the MTSN 2 Langkat school to understand changes to the independent learning curriculum has an impact on the inaccuracy of preparing learning modules that are in accordance with the changing curriculum. Many terms in the new curriculum require a new understanding and a change in learning focus which focuses more on developing student competencies and a sustainable learning process. The aim of this activity is to facilitate teachers and improve skills at MTsN 2 Langkat in designing learning modules that are in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum, so that the learning process can be planned effectively and optimally. The methods used in this activity are socialization, education, training and evaluation of the creation of teaching modules. The implementation of this community service has achieved an increase in the soft skills of educators in compiling teaching modules for the independent learning curriculum at MTSN 2 Langkat. The results of the implementation of PKM activities show that the training activities ran smoothly and the activity participants were enthusiastic in participating in the training. The positive benefits obtained from this activity include increased understanding of the independent learning curriculum as well as new knowledge related to preparing learning modules that are in accordance with the latest curriculum. This activity received good interest from partners because the material was easy to understand, right on target and the activity duration was adequate.
