Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in student learning outcomes through the Number Head Together learning method and conventional learning in the subject of Economics for Class XI MAN 3 Students in Padang City. Based on the analysis of data it is known that both classes of samples are normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis test through One Way Anova obtained the probability value is 0.026 greater than α (0.05) so it can be seen that the probability is smaller than the α which is 0.026 < 0.05. This means that the hypothesis tested (Ha) is accepted at a real level of 5% so that the decision is that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted so that it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes through the Number Head Together learning method and conventional learning in the subject of Economics Class XI MAN 3 Padang City Students. From the results of this study, it is hoped that teachers will apply the Number Head together learning method for theoretical material. This Number Head together learning method can improve student learning outcomes so that problems that occur in the learning process can be overcome.Keyword : Differences, Number Head Together, Learning Method

Abstract

Learning is never free from problems that can appear at any time and become an obstacle to achieving learning goals. One of these problems is the difficulty of students in understanding the concept of sociology lessons because teachers have not been optimal in improving students' understanding of concepts. This can be seen in SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang that it is found that there are still many students who do not understand the learning material on the subject of Sociology properly. The theory used is the Cognitive Exchange Theory proposed by Ritzer. The research was conducted at group X IPS 3 SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang. This classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles with 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data analysis was carried out by looking at students 'individual completeness and classical completeness to see the understanding of students' sociological concepts. The results of this study indicate that by using varied skills teachers can improve the understanding of the concept of sociology of class X IPS 3 SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang. In, in cycle I, the average learning outcomes to see the understanding of students 'sociological concepts was 71.67 with a completeness percentage of 27.78% and increased in cycle II, namely the average learning outcomes to see students' understanding of sociological concepts became 78.89 with a completeness percentage of 86.11% because in cycle II students' understanding of the concept of sociology has increased, marked by learning outcomes that have reached the KKM

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of parental income, parental education, intellectual intelligence, career planning and self-efficacy on students' interest in continuing their education at the college level. The results of data analysis in this study found that there was an influence of variables of parental income, parental education, intellectual intelligence, career planning and self-efficacy together on the interest in continuing education at the class XII college level at SMAN 16 Padang. Pervariable results can be described based on two levels as follows: First, students who have planned detailed ideals, namely the probability value of the parental income variable (0.013, parental education (0.018), career planning (0.008) and self-efficacy (0.011) affect the interest in continuing higher education which can be proven with a probability value smaller than α (0.05). As for the probability value of intellectual intelligence (0.619) it has no effect on the interest in continuing higher education as evidenced by the probability value greater than 0.05. Second, students who have not planned the goals that can be detailed, namely the probability value of the parental income variable (0.048), parental education value (0.026), career planning (0.013) and self-efficacy (0.033) affect the interest in continuing higher education which can be proven by the probability value of each less than α (0.05). As for intellectual intelligence, the sig value (0.261) has no effect on the interest in continuing college-level education as evidenced by the probability value of each of them greater than α (0.05).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many mistakes made by students in working on questions on matrix material. The aim of the study was to find out how the description of the mistakes made by students of class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 2 Gunung Talang. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 2 Gunung Talang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Research instruments were used to collect data in the form of tests, interviews and documentation. The test results were analyzed according to Newman's error criteria The results showed that in the indicator of scalar multiplication with matrix, the errors found in (1) subjects with high ability were transformation errors, writing the final answers, (2) subjects with moderate abilities were errors in process skills and errors in writing the final answers, and ( 3) subjects with low ability are understanding errors, transformation errors and errors in writing the final answer. Whereas in the matrix multiplication indicator, the errors found in (1) subjects with high ability were transformation errors, errors in writing the final answer, (2) subjects with medium ability were reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skill errors and final answer writing errors, and (3) subjects with low ability are reading errors, understanding errors, transformation errors, and final answer writing errors
