Pelita: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dengan nomor ISSN 2775-0094 (online) adalah jurnal multidisiplin ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Perkumpulan Kualitama Edukatika Indonesia. Pelita: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat merupakan jurnal nasional yang memiliki fokus utama pada pengembangan ilmu-ilmu di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Lingkup bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat antara lain meliputi pelatihan, pemasaran, keamanan pangan lokal, Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG), desain, pemberdayaan masyarakat, akses sosial, daerah perbatasan, daerah kurang berkembang, dan pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat berisi berbagai kegiatan penanganan dan pengelolaan berbagai potensi, kendala, tantangan, dan masalah yang ada di masyarakat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian juga melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pengabdian tersebut disusun dalam suatu kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau ide-ide yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pelita: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat terbit empat kali dalam satu tahun yaitu pada bulan Januari, April, Juli, dan Oktober.

Abstract

Advances in technology and science in the current era of globalization, especially in the field of computers. The ability to operate a computer is needed in various fields of work. This ability is not only familiar with computers globally, but also an elementary school teacher is required to be able to operate a computer as a learning medium and one way to complete the work that will be presented to students as well as efforts to increase knowledge competence in the field of computers, in accordance with the Government's target which aims to developing ICT programs and helping digital generations who are not technologically savvy. The design of training materials is expected to improve some of the teacher's abilities, including being able to make reports on student learning outcomes using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Power Point. Participants in this training were 20 teachers at SDN 012 North Balikpapan.

Abstract

The partner involved in this community service activity is MA Al Falak. The devotion is to provide limit material by using interactive learning media and kahoot games to give a positive influence on the mastery of the concept of limit students of MA Al Falak. The implementation of devotion to the SCHOOL MA Al Falak carried out three stages. First, the provision of pretest, materials and kahoot games. The second, divide the class into two groups to get intensive guidance from two students involved in this PKM. Third, review of the material and the provision of posttest. The results of the implementation of this devotion based on the results of descriptive statistical calculations, there was an increase in student learning outcomes that can be seen from the average student pretest score of only 34.35 then increased to 78.70.

Abstract

This service is carried out at MTsN 5 Padang. This service is an alternative form of learning during the pandemic. This service activity aims to help teachers and students, especially in extracurricular writing activities, to become active again. This service activity provides guidance to students both online and offline. This activity is expected to be able to hone students' writing skills in the midst of a pandemic situation that limits students' active participation, especially in extracurricular writing activities. In this activity, service is carried out using several approaches and learning models that are expected to be able to explore students' writing abilities.

Abstract

Learning mathematics using traditional setting make students only memorize formulas and are good at counting without knowing the meaning behind the formula or calculation. As a result they cannot use mathematics in problem solving. Good quality in learning mathematics can only be realized by teachers who master the right mathematical approach. Realistic Mathematics Education Smart Camp is a 32 hours model training activity to facilitate mathematics teachers who are members of the city/district Mathematics council to improve the quality of mathematics learning through training in making progressive learning designs through the RME approach. This article compares how the condition of teachers related to their mathematical abilities in solving problems before and after participating in the training. Mathematics teacher show that their ablity in beginning were still lay on third level Bloom Cognitive hierarchy. They master calculating and applying formula in certain mathematics application. However, in the real context, they failed to use mathematics. After given progressive workshop, they were able to apply mathematics in any condition. They literated in using mathematics to solve daily problem. From this comparison, it can be concluded that the RME Smart Camp training has a significant role in improving the ability of teachers to prepare mathematics lessons that foster meaningful understanding using students' abilities.

Abstract

Loegood Market is a traditional market that is packed with cultural concepts through the use of bamboo plants. Before being used as a market, the area in Tegal Loegood was only filled with large plants and unproductive bamboo plants. This program aims to assist and assist the community in optimizing the potential of existing resources in Loegood Market so that Loegood Market deserves to be dubbed as an education-based cultural market tourism. The establishment of cooperation with MSMEs in Girikerto Village as well as with other institutions as a form of multiplier effect in increasing farmers' income and market sustainability. This program was implemented in Girikerto Village, Turi District, Sleman Regency, DIY. Meanwhile, the program implementation time is from September to December 2020. The program implementation begins with the preparation of the market concept to be developed. This program is very beneficial for the community, especially for POKDARWIS Tegal Loegood who is starting an effort to make changes in improving the community's economy in Sukorejo Hamlet. The results of this program are the increase in adequate facilities and infrastructure, the number of visitors is increasing and people's income is increasing, the institutions are more organized, and the establishment of cooperation between Loegood Market and UMKM and local agencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide information related to interests and talents to enter the world of work in the pandemic era to PKK members in Semarang City. The partner in this PKM is PKK “Candi Losmen” in Semarang City, which consists of 25 housewives. The problem faced by partners is the obstacle of career assistance for children according to their interests and talents. This is because so far the assistance provided is still in the form of providing job vacancies. Children are considered vulnerable to having career problems in the world of work, because most of them work not based on their interests and talents, but only because they fill existing job vacancies. In fact, many children experience difficulties in their careers, it is because they feel that work is a burden for life, not a self-actualization of their interests and talents. Career mentoring can be a solution for mothers as parents in helping their children determine career direction. Career mentoring is not only limited to hard skills but also soft skills where children are guided to be able to better recognize their talents and interests and can be empowered to support their careers in the future. The results of the PKM implementation are also expected to be able to produce the output of teaching materials in the form of lecture papers, and publication articles in online media.

Abstract

Assessment is an integral part of the learning process. SMPIT Darul Fikri Bawen as a service partner faces problems in the form of teachers' low ability in compiling questions based on basic competencies and the developed instruments still do not meet all aspects of the assessment. The purpose of this activity is to facilitate teachers in the SMPIT Darul Fikri Bawen environment in preparing evaluation instruments both offline and boldly. The method of activity used there are 3 stages, namely counseling and awareness, training, and assistance in preparing the instrument. The first stage begins with getting to know the types of evacuations, their benefits, and how to make them. In the second stage, participants are facilitated to make an assessment using google forms and google Classroom. In the last stage, participants are assisted from starting to analyze needs, develop assessments and use them in learning. The results obtained from this service activity are the results of the participant's knowledge about the types of evaluations and the ability to develop evaluation tools, both courage, and strength. The results of the evaluation showed that 90% of the participants were able to prepare evaluation tools well.
