Pelita: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dengan nomor ISSN 2775-0094 (online) adalah jurnal multidisiplin ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Perkumpulan Kualitama Edukatika Indonesia. Pelita: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat merupakan jurnal nasional yang memiliki fokus utama pada pengembangan ilmu-ilmu di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Lingkup bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat antara lain meliputi pelatihan, pemasaran, keamanan pangan lokal, Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG), desain, pemberdayaan masyarakat, akses sosial, daerah perbatasan, daerah kurang berkembang, dan pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat berisi berbagai kegiatan penanganan dan pengelolaan berbagai potensi, kendala, tantangan, dan masalah yang ada di masyarakat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian juga melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pengabdian tersebut disusun dalam suatu kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau ide-ide yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pelita: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat terbit empat kali dalam satu tahun yaitu pada bulan Januari, April, Juli, dan Oktober.

Abstract

Waste is a problem that has not been resolved properly in Indonesia. Likewise, in Sorogenen II village, Kulon Progo district, where the majority of livelihoods are farmers, gardeners and traders related to agriculture and plantations, there is still not much information on the management of organic waste, especially crop and fruit waste. Several efforts to utilize waste have been made. One way to utilize waste from fresh fruit peels is to ferment it with molasses so that after 3 months it will become eco enzyme. This enzyme liquid has been used as a natural fertilizer, pest repellent, and cleaning liquid. The training conducted by volunteers of the eco enzyme archipelago, PKK group and UAD community service team took place in Sorogenen II village, Kulon Progo district. In addition to the delivery of how to make eco enzyme, the utilization and business opportunities of eco enzyme were also delivered in the training. A showcase of eco enzyme products was also held at UAD and many visitors were enthusiastic about making eco enzyme independently.

Abstract

Plastic waste has become a significant problem of environmental pollution in recent decades. The nature of plastic waste is complicated to decompose; it has worsened the environmental situation, especially if it is not taken seriously immediately. One approach that can be taken to overcome this problem is to provide counseling to the public so that they do not dispose of plastic waste carelessly. The community service program is a forum for academics to participate and provide counseling about the management of plastic waste. The purpose of this community service program is to counsel the Panjangrejo community about how to manage plastic waste properly. This counseling program began with discussions with the Panjangrejo sub-district officials and related parties, then continued with planning the timing of the extension. Residents and community elements are fully involved, so this program can run smoothly. The counseling program was carried out in three villages, namely the villages of Semampir, Gunung Puyuh, and Krapyak Wetan, and this program was held at night from 20.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB. The outreach results showed that people's knowledge about the dangers of plastic waste and how to manage it could be significantly improved (p < 0.05). In general, this extension program successfully increased respondents' knowledge from "not knowing" to "knowing better" about the dangers and how to manage plastic waste.

Abstract

This growing technology, lots of applications and notifications that are growing every year. With the existence of increasingly developing technology, there are many problems that exist. The problem that often occurs in the finance department is that when recording financial data, it often experiences delays in calculating deficiencies, excesses or the percentage profit obtained. Likewise, when searching for data, it often encounters problems if there are some data that need to be revised. This is what often happens to savings and loans at Dawis Melati, because the records are still manual.

Abstract

SPSS is a very user-friendly statistical software. Because of its simplicity that makes it very applicable among researchers. So that in this service activity, the team will provide training on the use of SPSS for Al Kautsariyyah Vocational School teachers to use in data processing in classroom action research. The lack of statistical knowledge among teachers in schools is what motivated us to provide SPPS training so that later it is hoped that it will provide sufficient provisions to assist teachers with research, especially quantitative research. In this activity the team provided an introduction to statistical methods and how to apply them in quantitative research using SPSS software. The output form of this community service activity is the product of data processing and its interpretation by the participants. This PKM activity went very well and even had quite a good impact on the participants because the participants gained hands-on experience of SPSS to conduct data processing and analysis in quantitative research. Participants are not only able to operate SPSS, but are also able to interpret the results or output produced by SPSS.

Abstract

Classroom management is very important in the learning process. Because a comfortable classroom atmosphere can make the learning process conducive and enjoyable, especially at the early childhood education level. The purpose of this research is to find out and describe how classroom management at RA Al-Hamidiyah Pangkalan Pangandaran also makes RA Al-Hamidiyah Pangkalan Pangandaran a model of classroom management that can be used as an example in good classroom management. The method that researchers take is a service learning method. The results obtained from this research are that classroom management at RA Al-Hamidiyah Pangkalan Pangandaran went very well. The importance of good classroom management because it is the main factor that can create a conducive, fun and effective classroom atmosphere has a major influence on the ongoing learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

This PKM (Community Service) activity aims to instill children's activity and creativity in motor activities and skills through training on simple Tangram and Origami media for early childhood and small elementary school through the early childhood and small elementary school mentoring program in the neighborhood of RT 14 RW 1 Kedungmundu Semarang. Tangram and Simple Origami emphasize shapes, train memory, and students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, where children are invited to recognize several forms and manipulate these objects, and increase students' abilities to be more creative. With this PKM, early childhood and small elementary school children in RT 14 RW 1 Kedungmundu Semarang get an overview of an activity that provides a playful atmosphere for children (learning while playing) so that children get a more meaningful and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This PKM activity runs in an orderly, smooth, and enthusiastic manner to provide benefits for students, able to apply both independently and in groups in subsequent actions in the RT 14 RW 1 Kedungmundu Semarang and also more expansive environments, providing a variety of learning and creativity for children about Tangram and Simple Origami media, especially early childhood and slight grade elementary school children in their environment. This activity also restores children's learning activities after the Covid-19 pandemic in their neighborhood.
