Masyarakat Pariwisata: Journal of Community Services in Tourism (ISSN 2798-1010) is a peer-reviewed journal which is published by Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung, Indonesia. Masyarakat Pariwisata: Journal of Community Services in Tourism aims at initiating and stimulating advances in Community Services of Tourism. Therefore, it publishes papers that promote new ideas, models, approaches, and paradigms by contributing to the advances in knowledge and theory of community services in Tourism. The journal covers applied research studies and review articles, both in the format of full-length articles and research notes. Applied research studies are expected to examine relationships among variables relevant to hospitality and tourism by employing appropriate analytical or statistical techniques. High-quality review articles that address the latest advances and develop theoretical knowledge or thinking about key aspects of hospitality and tourism are accepted. Research notes are short articles that report advances in methodology, exploratory research findings or extensions/discussions of prior research.

Abstract

Desa Wisata di dirikan dengan tujuan untuk mengoptimalisasikan potensi lokal yang dimiliki, agar masyarakat di sekitar desa merasakan efek dari upaya tersebut, diantaranya: meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat lokal, semaraknya aktifitas sosial, peningkatan pembangunan infrastruktur menjadi hal yang terlihat berubah di sebuah desa wisata. Proses pembuatan Desa Wisata memerlukan sinergitas dari semua pihak supaya dapat berjalan dengan lancar, dalam proses tersebut terdapat aktifitas – aktifitas yang menggerakan masyarakat supaya lebih berdaya serta memiliki daya juang dan inovasi, sehingga terdapat berbagai bentuk praktik pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam sebuah desa wisata, hal ini menarik untuk dicari model yang tepat dalam menggali keunikan desa wisata, Kajian ini menggunakan jenis library resit dengan menggunakan data sekunder, dari hasil penelitian, jurnal dan buku. Kajian ini memperlihatkan bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat Nampak secara jelas dari berbagai proses pembuatan desa wisata, sehingga memungkinkan desa tersebut menjadi tempat belajar bagi, masyarakat umum, wisatawan, dan juga pelajar.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki keindahan alam yang tidak kalah jauh dengan negara-negara yang lain,maka dari itu trend saat ini adalah memanfaatkan potensi alam untuk menjadi salah satu basis dari pariwisata. Ekowisata merupakan perpaduan antara kepentingan industri dengan pencinta lingkungan, dengan harapan bertumbuhnya perekonomian dengan basis environment sustainability. Tapi kita harus hati-hati, apabila faktor ekonomi sudah bersinggungan dengan alam, maka yang akan muncul adalah sikap antroposentrism.Melalui potensi sumber daya alam dan lingkungan yang sangat beragam di Indonesia, harapannya akan menarik banyak wisatawan untuk datang , hal ini juga berdampak pada pengembangan perekonomian di daerah setempat.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi ekowisata yang dimiliki oleh Bendungan Karangkates yang dikelola oleh Perum Jasa Tirta 1, yang khususnya akan melihat dari aspek potensi wisata,potensi lingkungan dan potensi keberagaman hayati. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan potensi ekowisata yang dimiliki dan menganalisa bagaimana pengelolaan ekowisata yang dimiliki oleh bendungan karangkates melalui perspektif stakeholders dan wisatawan.

Abstract

Halal tourism has been recorded steadily growing since 2000.growth Globalof Muslim travelers has grown rapidly from 25 million in 2000 to 140 million in 2018, or growing 25% / year. This growth is predicted to continue to increase to 230 million with a turnover of USD 300 billion (4,200 trillion) in 2026. (Mastercard - Crescent Rating, 2019). Currently, halal tourism has become a global mainstream market, not just a niche market. Halal tourism is a current and promising future tourism trend. Efforts to meet the need for Muslim-friendly tourist destinations are a very rational and profitable choice.

Abstract

Indramayu is an area that has a very rich tourism potential, this is the basic capital of tourism in Indramayu long term. But the main point at issue is how the potential is prospective and actual. Prospective step and actualization is of course a management problem. Therefore, tourism management is an absolute requirement for the development of tourism activities. One concrete form of tourism management is promotion or advertising. Professionalism in doing real work is part of the struggle.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze tourism development strategies based on local wisdom in the tourism village of Pagerharjo, Samigaluh District, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Sources of data in this study are primary funds and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews and field observations. While the data analysis technique used is data analysis using the interactive model of analysis developed by Miles and Hubermann. The results showed that (1) The potential of local wisdom that can be packaged and developed as a tourist attraction in the Tourism Village of Pagerharjo is mutual cooperation, nguri-uri oral traditions, suronan, reog cultural traditions, jathilan, incling, angguk, campur sari, kethoprak, puppeteer and what is characteristic is the lengger tapeng dance, while from a culinary perspective there is taro leaf butyl, geblek, which can still be witnessed and enjoyed today; (2) Aspects that must be considered in planning tourism development in the Tourism Village of Pagerharjo are (a) the low level of community human resources in the development of tourism villages; (b) Poor tourism village institutional governance; (c) Low optimization of local products (food, crafts, arts); (d) The absence of participatory planning in the development of tourism villages; (3) The supporting factors for the development of tourism based on local wisdom in the Tourism Village of Pagerharjo include the community culture that has been attached to the attitude of courtesy and hospitality to anyone who comes. While the inhibiting factors include the absence of a blueprint for mapping the tourism potential in Pagerharjo village, community empowerment from upstream to downstream which has not been running and communication factors between the community, village government and all elements involved in it need to be improved so that harmonious communication is formed.

Abstract

Through Laskar Pelangi movie, Belitung becomes the spotlight of tourists to be a tourist destination. Many people develop their villages to become tourist destinations, such as Terong Village. Terong Village started the development of tourist areas in 2016 and has four tourist destinations, namely Aik Rusa'Berehun Destination, Bukit Tebalu Simpar Laki Tourism Destination, Agrotourism Destination of Terong Belitung Village, and Mangrove and Beach Tourism Destinations. Besides tourism object, there are important things to do to attract tourists to come to Terong Village, namely about Local Wisdom from Eggplant Village itself, such as language, traditional dance, traditional food, and so on. Local wisdom is able to attract more tourists to visit The Eggplant Village if appropriate development is carried out. Through this study, the author has an idea to conduct research on the development of Terong Village tourism through Local Wisdom based on the development of the village community. Research is carried out by literacy study method, which is looking for similar studies and analysis of the source of the study.

Abstract

The hospitality industry is one part of the world of tourism which plays an important role wherever located. The role of the hospitality industry is not only as a place to stop and rest, but it is a beginning of the economic activities of other industries. The arrival of covid-19 virus in early 2020, no doubt hit all the industrial sectors in the world including the hospitality industry. For almost 3 months, people in the world are forced to live in fear of the covid-9 virus. The World Health Organization (WHO) also called for "New Normal" as a new form of adaptation for all people in the world to this virus until a cure is found. Based on the presence of the virus, the hotel industry has welcomed "New Normal" by following strict rules in force following local government recommendations. This research will try to find out the form of the "New Normal" protocol in the hotel industry, especially in the management of family hotels in Juwana, which is one of the areas defined in the red zone. So we get the right steps to be applied to other regions by following the prevailing customs in the area.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the important sectors whose value and movement is to drive the people's economy and influence other sectors. However, in developing tourism it can have an impact on natural damage, so it needs to be defeated by the uniqueness and condition of the existing area. To develop the tourism that is owned, it needs to be done gradually and continuously so that this sector can move the entire community so that community participation can be realized in real terms. Therefore, this study aims to measure community wisdom in developing the tourism potential of Tebat Rasau in Lintang Village, East Belitung Regency. The research used a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection through interviews and field. The results showed that the community was able to encourage tourism development as evidenced by the development and infrastructure, the object of marketing tourism objects through social media and participation in training activities. The research results can be used as a driving force for tourism development in Lintang Village, East Belitung Regency.

Abstract

Educational tourism as one of the development sectors of tourism is based on the community's need for educational variations. Educational tourism is suitable to be developed in locations that have limited locations and are in areas with residents. Tukad Bindu, as one of the densely populated areas in Denpasar, has the potential to develop educational tourism. The fast flow of the river becomes an attraction and strength in the tourism development needed by the local community. The learning model and the introduction of caring for nature can be applied to the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu. In its development, the arrival of Covid-19 also affected the visit to the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu which was seen in a drastic decrease in domestic tourists for almost 8 months. Strategic steps are needed in adapting the covid-19 virus so that the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu can still run. This study aims to obtain a standard health protocol that can be done in entering the area of Tukad Bindu tourist attraction using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the research can be used in application during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that people can still visit the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu by following the applicable protocol.

Abstract

This study identifies the potential of tourism products in Sukajadi Village Bogor Regency based on ten (10) tourism components as well as its development strategy, which is currently included in the category of a newly developing tourist village. The results of this research are aggressive and serious development strategies in all aspects of the tourism component, namely increasing the quality and diversification of tourist attractions and activities, accessibility, improving the quality and quantity of tourism amenities, improving the quality of human resources & institutions, community support, land use, tourism industry cooperation, as well as marketing aspects. This research type is a descriptive qualitative with a case study exploratory approach. Primary data is obtained from direct observation and interviews with key informants, namely Pokdarwis and the Village Head, while secondary data is the result of literature studies and research documentation. The analysis technique of this research uses SWOT analysis and Matrix, analysis of the work program of the vision for tourism development of the Bogor Regency Government which refers to local government master plan for tourism development (RIPPARDA), and also analysis of the Cleanlines, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) guidelines.
