Abstract

The low participation of the elderly in Posbindu can cause serious problems both for the elderly themselves and for their families. Health conditions that are not monitored and risk factors for PTM that are not detected directly can increase morbidity and even lead to death.  While poor health conditions in the elderly, often sick can be a burden for family members. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the participation of the elderly to Posbindu in Indonesia. Method used in this research is a descriptive literature review study. Where in this method, researchers use search techniques, analyze and combine facts from various credible related sources. The sources in question are various research results that have been published previously. The analysis is carried out by searching various scientific articles or related journals published on Google Scholar with a publication range of the last five years starting from 2016 – 2020. Based on the results of the study, there were 2 out of 9 journals that stated that the age factor, gender and  work factor, 3 of 9 journals stated that the attitude factor and motivation factor, 5 out of 9 journals stated that the knowledge factor, 1 out of 9 journals stated that the distance factor and policy, 5 out of 9 journals mentioning that family support factors, 2 out of 9 journals that mention that the motivational factor and 3 out of 9 journals that stated that the role of health workers was related to the participation of the elderly in posbindu. Conclusion of this study is that there are many factors that influence the participation of the elderly to Posbindu where of the 12 behavioral factors related to participation, knowledge and family support are the most dominant factors affecting the participation of the elderly to Posbindu in Indonesia. Keywords : Predisposing factors, Enabling factors, Reinforcing factor, Participation, Posbindu

Abstract

Degenerative disease is a disease that accompanies the aging process this disease occurs with age. Degenerative disease is a medical term used to describe a process of decline in nerve cell function without a known cause, from a previous normal state to a worse state. Several types of degenerative diseases include: osteoporosis, stroke, heart disease, gout, DM, cholesterol, obesity, etc. One of the causes of degenerative diseases is due to the acquisition of micro and macro nutrients that are not balanced. The wrong diet increases the risk of this disease. From the several types of diseases above, we can conclude that most of them are influenced by food consumption. People are now fond of consuming foods high in fat such as fried foods, junk food, instant foods. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between respondent characteristics, nutritional status and degenerative diseases. This research is a cross sectional study, with the population as the target group of Posbindu activities at the Curug Health Center, Serang Regency, Banten and the number of samples is 124 elderly. The results showed that the majority of respondents were elderly 60-69 years as much as 78.2%. The majority of respondents have nutritional status with BMI in the normal category as much as 66.1%. Normal blood pressure (as much as 46.8% for systolic pressure and 45.2% for diastolic pressure). The respondent's cholesterol, blood sugar and uric acid levels are in normal conditions but must remain vigilant. There is no significant relationship between BMI (nutritional status) with age, sex, and systolic blood pressure. There is a significant relationship between systolic and diastolic blood pressure on age and gender in the elderly at the Curug Health Center, Serang Banten. Keywords: Nutritional Status, Degenerative Disease, Elderly

Abstract

Changes in human development at this time greatly affect lifestyles it is a cause of an increase in non- communicable diseases (PTM) one of which is hypertension. Hypertension control has been pursued by the government by implementing a chronic disease prevention program (PROLANIS) through collaboration with BPJS. This study aims to determine the difference in blood pressure reduction in primary hypertension patients who follow prolanis and non prolanis in the Cipayung District Health Center. Pre-experimental research design with static group comparison research. The study population was primary hypertension patients who followed prolanis and non prolanis in the Cipayung District Health Center. Samples were taken by purposive sampling and found 40 people. The collected data is tested statistically by T-test. The results of the study of primary hypertension patients who follow Prolanis have better blood pressure. Statistical test results showed there were differences in blood pressure reduction in primary hypertension patients who followed prolanis and non prolanis (p = 0,000, p <0.05). Nurses provide education to primary hypertension patients who have not yet joined the program to participate in the PROLANIS program.Keyword: Hypertension, Blood Pressure, PROLANIS

Abstract

Completeness of immunization is something that is already complete, while is an effort to provide immunity to infants and children by incorporating BCG, Hepatitis, Polio, DPT, Measles vaccines into the body so that the body makes antibodies to prevent disease. The factors of completeness of immunization are knowledge, attitudes, availability of facilities and infrastructure, affordablity of distance, the role of posyandu cadres, the role of health workers and the role of the husband. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that most influence the completeness of basic immunization for infants at the Semparuk Sambas public health center. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies age 9-12 months as many as 129 mothers. Sampling technique by means of total sampling. Analyze using multiple logistic regression test using SPSS 16.0. The results of the study that the completeness of immunization in infants was 69%. The results of logistic regression showed that there was a ralitonship between education, work, attitudes, the role of posyandu cadres, the role of health workers and the role of the husband. Attitude is the most dominant variabel with an OR 3,444. Its hoped that the more positive the mother attitude will tend to pay attention to the schedule of giving immunization to her baby, the positive mother attitude will be better in giving the perception of something she knows.Keyword: immunization equipment, attitude, the role of health workers

Abstract

AbstractIncreasing prevalence of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in developed and developing countries is a health problem. Therefore, type 2 Diabetes Mellitus can be prevented by regular exercise, healthy and regular life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of foot exercise on changes in blood sugar levels in elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Ciracas District Health Center. This type of research is experimental with one group pre-post test design. The population in this study were 36 elderly people with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the Ciracas District Health Center. The sample in this study were 18 elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Ciracas District Health Center. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling. Methods of data collection using an observation sheet before and after being given foot exercises. The statistical test used in this study is the paired T test. The results showed that there was no change in blood sugar levels before and after doing foot exercises, the statistical test results obtained a p value of 0.870, which means 0.870> 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant effect between foot exercise and changes in blood sugar levels in elderly patients. Type II diabetes mellitus at the Ciracas Subdistrict Health Center. The absence of any effect of foot exercises on changes in blood sugar levels in the elderly could be due to incomplete exercise, therefore foot exercise training to change blood sugar levels must be done in the elderly. Keywords : Foot exercise, Blood Sugar Levels, DM type 2
