Abstract

The rise of smartphone users or smart phones is increasingly widespread in various circles, not to mention smartphone users from among students of various ages. This is inseparable from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which requires all schools to conduct online learning, from Kindergarten (TK), Elementary School, Junior High School and Middle School and above or equivalent. Starting from the need for smartphones for the benefit of student learning, but ended with the misuse of smartphones that were used to access negative things that had an impact on students. MTS Ittihadiyah Karang Dapo is one of the schools that implement online learning. 82% of students have a smartphone and 20% do not have a smartphone. From the survey results, 91% of students are not supervised by their parents in using smartphones. After taking the pre-test, 85% of students do not know the impact that arises from the use of smartphones. After following the socialization and doing a post test, there was an increase in understanding of the impact of using a smartphone.

Abstract

Optimization and the role of the community to realize a progressive village is not something that cannot be done, this study aims to provide information on the importance of the involvement of the community's role in an effort to provide benefits for the village where they live. The research method used is qualitative, namely the type of research on the condition of natural objects. Where the researcher as a key instrument, through data collection techniques the samples taken reflect representative for the population. Continuing to collect supporting data through interviews, literature studies and several other secondary efforts that support the optimization of service. The involvement of all elements of society in realizing a progressive village with a sense of benefit is absolute. The Village Government, Community Leaders, Religion and the whole community in general must be directly involved in providing assistance, suggestions, ideas, ideas that support the success of the program. The implementation of activities that can foster community enthusiasm can be one of the solutions for achieving this program. Among them are: Teaching Service to share knowledge (MERUBEL) and get to know about the village through online media (MESEDEVO). Keywords: Optimization, Society, Progressive, Benefit

Abstract

Abstract The role of the tourism sector is one of the mainstay sectors for non-oil and gas foreign exchange earnings. Palembang is known as the city of the Batang Hari Sembilan River or what is often called the Musi River, tourism in the Musi River area is one of the main destinations for tourists who come to Palembang, by seeing the potential of the Musi River which is used as a tourist destination. Therefore, the author initiated the creation of a homestay, precisely in the 7 Ulu area of ​​Palembang, this is an effort to build public awareness of the use of riverside tourism as a source of income for the community. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to increase public awareness about the potential of tourism destinations that they have. The purpose of this study is to increase public awareness about the potential of tourism destinations that they have. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, the subjects in this study are informants who provide data through interviews, the results of this study are the making of homestays as tourist attractions on the Musi River.

Abstract

Petani rentan terhadap infeksi Covid-19. Beberapa media massa melaporkan serangan covid-19 pada petani, masih terdapat petani yang belum mematuhi protokol kesehatan selama bertani, panen, dan pasca panen. Beberapa sumber menyebutkan bahwa petani belum mengetahui informasi mengenai protokol kesehatan tersebut. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pelatihan “Sehat Bertani di Masa Pandemi (SabeDimpan)”. Penjagaan ketahanan pangan selama masa pandemi covid-19 dapat dilakukan dengan mendampingi dan memantau perilaku kesehatan petani agar tetap sehat, sejahtera, semangat, dan produktif. Kedaulatan pangan akan sulit diwujudkan jika petani sebagai pelaku utama usaha tani tidak sejahtera. Jaminan kesejahteraan petani, menjaga semangat, dan memastikan kesehatannya di tengah pandemi covid-19 mealalui koordinasi lintas sektoral sangat penting dan dibutuhkan.

Abstract

Digital parenting is a parenting strategy related to the rules for using digital devices both online and offline to protect children's safety from the threats of their use. This community service is to provide parenting training through the use of healthy internet as an effort to reduce internet addiction (social media) so that they can socialize how to use internet media and social media properly and correctly, disseminate information and education and guide them to be more careful in choosing their use. good and right and responsible internet, so it doesn't make social media addiction. In this training activity, it was held at the Nurul Islam Sabillurrosyad Foundation with a target for housewives and students. The implementation method for the activity is providing parenting socialization and training through the use of healthy internet to reduce internet addiction (social media), conducting questions and answers and discussions with sharing experiences.

Abstract

Omah Tinom Jogja is a joglo rental business for various community activities. At the end of 2020, Omah Tinom Jogja expanded their business by opening a culinary with the theme of ‘old food and drinks’ and rental homestays in the same location. The problem faced was that the grand opening which was held in December 2020 was constrained by the government's restrictions on people's movement related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This condition has an impact on various community activities, including the sustainability of community businesses at all scales. Government policies make various community activities goes virtual by utilizing information technology, business actors are also present in virtual spaces to introduce types of business and product marketing. By considering the conditions and facts, Omah Tinom Jogja took the solution offered by the PkM FTI UMBY Team to utilize information technology as a medium for introducing business types and online marketing strategies. A website for Omah Tinom Jogja was developed to more quickly introduce the type of business Omah Tinom Jogja to the public.

Abstract

Lewotobi village has great potential to improve the economy of its people. The potential consists of two, namely natural resources and human resources. Lack of knowledge and lack of motivation cause the existing potential has not been utilized optimally. In addition, there are problems encountered in the community, such as low awareness and participation from residents, especially young people, to participate in community service activities in the environment, and there are no ditches for drainage of rainwater so that some residents' houses are submerged in water during the rainy season. The empowerment model that is carried out to the community is a form of a participatory approach. This service activity involves the community, especially young people, to advance their village. Parents and village government assisted by facilitating capacity-building activities such as training tour guides.

Abstract

The use of information technology to support E-government has long been proclaimed by the Government. However, implementation at the sub-district and village levels still faces many obstacles. Based on a field study in Mlati District, it was found that the obstacles were a lack of awareness and technical ability of media managers. The purpose of this service is to increase awareness and ability of official media managers at the sub-district and village levels so that the communication of government programs is better. The targets of this activity are media managers from representatives of the Community Information Group (KIM), village representatives and Information Management and Documentation Officers (PPID) in Mlati District. The method used is lectures and assistance in the use of social media for disseminating government program information. Evaluation of activities is carried out with post-activity questionnaires to participants. The evaluation results show that 86% of participants are satisfied and 90% get additional knowledge in managing official social media of sub-district and village governments

Abstract

System-based data recording is indispensable in all fields, including government agencies. One of the important points in data recording is system integration. Data integration has the advantage of making the flow of organizational information better. One of the problems that arise in this Community Service activity partner is the unavailability of a population data integration system from each village/village to the sub-district. This activity aims to conduct training, mentoring and demonstration of the proposed integration system. The solution that will be offered is to conduct training and socialization related to population data management and integration. This training and socialization will use Ms. Excel and Google Sheet in the process. The method used in implementing community service activities is training and mentoring as well as demonstrations related to the Implementation of the Simple Population Data Integration System (SIDaKS) in Kota Agung Timur District, Tanggamus. The training was carried out in the East Kota Agung District hall, Tanggamus. Participants who attended the activity were representatives of each village/village in the Kota Agung Timur District. There are several steps taken to support the implementation of activities. The activity took place smoothly in accordance with the applicable health protocol. Abstract

Financial management socialization is carried out as a form of concern and service to the community. There are three stages of the activity method used. The first stage is a field survey by looking at the conditions and problems faced by teenagers. The second stage, the division of tasks to the Dukuh Janten Real Work Lecture (KKN) team RT 001/RW 002 by determining the topic of discussion and determining the implementation schedule. The last stage is the implementation of socialization. This socialization was carried out with the aim of providing education on how to do financial management properly and correctly, as well as providing some real examples that can be applied by teenagers. The result of this activity is that adolescent participants can understand more about the benefits of financial management and increase awareness of managing finances.
