Abstract

Mastery of English is something that plays an important role in the era of globalization. The community service program was held to increase the quality of human resources through communicative English training for participants in the Kejar Package B at the Rinjani Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM), Kekalik Jaya Environment, Mataram City – West Nusa Tenggara. This training aims to provide active English skills for trainees so that later they can use these skills to get better jobs in the future. This training was attended by 20 participants and was held twice a week for 3 months. The learning methods applied in this training are games and discussions to identify the knowledge and skills needed. The lecture method is used during the learning process for vocabulary and grammar development in English. The achievement of this community service program can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes, the results in the first cycle of 60.71% increased significantly to 79.17% in the second cycle. Achievement indicators have been met 75%. The training participants looked very enthusiastic and happy to participate in this activity, it can be concluded that the English language training which is presented in a fun and communicative way can have a significant influence on the abilities of the trainees.

Abstract

Munjung Agung Village is one of the villages in Kramat District, Tegal Regency, Central Java Province. The majority of Munjung Agung villagers work as fishermen who rely on fishing products to meet their daily needs. As for the mothers, most of them work as housewives who have no other income while they actually have a lot of time to use to increase their income. The purpose of implementing this community service is to provide entrepreneurial ideas about fish processing that can be carried out by housewives, especially PKK members and motivate them to become entrepreneurs. The method used is to provide hands-on theoretical and practical training regarding processing fish into products that provide more economic benefits.

Abstract

Mubaligh or Da'i are human beings who live in the mind of Islam, moving to exalt the religion of Allah with all the power they have as an obligation that must be carried out based on Allah's orders. Da'i are also called the subject of da'wah or called preachers who are engaged in da'wah according to their respective abilities. IPNU is one of the organizations in Indonesia and is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama, an organization that accommodates male students. This organization is called the Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association, abbreviated as IPNU which is educational, familial, social, and religious in nature. IPPNU is one of the organizations in Indonesia and is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama, an organization that accommodates female students. Abstract

Manajemen risiko harus diterapkan di semua industri. Manajemen risiko adalah upaya mengelola risiko secara terencana, menyeluruh dan terstruktur untuk mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja yang tidak diinginkan dengan sistem yang tepat. Banyak pekerja yang lalai dalam melakukan pekerjaan di ketinggian, salah satunya kurangnya kesadaran dalam penggunaan full body harness. Karena ada beberapa kejadian yang mengindikasikan kelalaian pekerja dalam melakukan pekerjaan di ketinggian. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pekerja dalam penggunaan full body harness untuk menurunkan risiko kecelakaan kerja di ketinggian. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara salah satu penyebab kurangnya kesadaran pekerja adalah karena pengetahuan pekerja yang kurang terhadap risiko pada pekerjaan ketinggian dan kurangnya pengetahuan dalam penggunaan full body harness yang benar. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dilakukan beberapa kegiatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pekerja tentang risiko bekerja di ketinggian dan pentingnya penggunaan full body harness serta cara penggunaannya yang benar sehingga pekerja dapat menggunakan full body harness dengan benar untuk mengurangi risiko kecelakaan kerja terutama pada pekerja di ketinggian.

Abstract

Talent Management (TM) emerged as a way to build human capacity. For public and private organizations. Building human capacity is the main thing to achieve organizational goals and improve performance. Talent management is how to develop Human Resources (HR). Talent Management as a tool to filter and map employees who have the best talent. HR is managed in a directed and sustainable manner. The purpose of this activity is how to increase the management talent of village officials, especially in compiling digital-based financial accountability reports in the Mulyasari Village government, Pataruman District / Banjar City. Abstract

The development of technology brings business opportunities for young people. 89% of Indonesia's population are Smartphone users, which is equivalent to 167 million people. Based on the current potential, technology-based businesses have enormous opportunities. However, until now, the entrepreneurial spirit of college graduates and vocational school graduates in Indonesia is still weak. Based on the field survey on the SMKN Rawas Ulu, Musi Rawas Utara Regency, we found that most of the students are not familiar with the technopreneurship . The absence of a special topic on it and the lack of information might be causing the lack of understanding and interest in entrepreneurship. We also found that student's knowledge and understanding of technoprenuership increased after a technology-based entrepreneurship workshop was conducted. In addition, students' motivation and mindset changed about technology-based business. This can be seen from the post-test results as much as 57% of students wish to become a technopreneur

Abstract

Sebuah aplikasi yang sangat diminati semua orang dan sangat dipertimbangkan untuk digunakan oleh guru dan pengajar di bimbingan belajar private adalah Microsoft Word, karena aplikasi tersebut sangat mudah digunakan oleh siswa-siswi untuk menganalisa dan mengerjakan tugas-tugas sekolah, dan juga Microsoft Word adalah aplikasi yang sangat sering digunakan banyak orang di berbagai sektor untuk melakukan hal administratif dan membuat laporan. Aplikasi ini juga dapat sebagai media pembelajaran karena merupakan alat typograpy yang bagus dengan banyak fungsi. Adapun untuk mendukung ide tersebut, peneliti mengadakan pengabdian masyarakat untuk melatih penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Word yang bermitra dengan tempat bimbingan belajar private Dwi yang terletak di daerah Sawahan Surabaya. Terdapat tujuh (7) murid dari tingkat SD dan SMP di tempat bimbingan belajar private tersebut yang masih menerapkan media pembelajaran tradisional. Karena hal tersebut, maka murid-murid sangat kesulitan dalam menggunakan Microsoft Word untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas dari sekolah di masa pandemi COVID-19, yang pastinya dituntut untuk menggunakan media teknologi seperti laptop atau smartphone. Maka dari itu, melalui pengenalan Microsoft Word, murid-murid telah mendapatkan banyak pengalaman praktek dan penggunaan fungsi-fungsi dan tools untuk membantu mereka dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas mereka ketika school from home selama pandemi.

Abstract

Nowadays, the rapid development of technology requires every individual to have the ability in the digital world. Digital skills are really needed in various aspects of humans today, especially the world of work. The world of work today relies a lot on digital technology in achieving its targets and goals. One of the skills that must be possessed by job seekers is the ability to use Microsoft Excel. Ms.Excel is a computer program used in making reports, presentations and performing simple analytical calculations commonly used in the world of work. Recognizing this as one of the contributions made by the university world is conducting training for institutions that need it. In this article, we will discuss the training of Ms. Excel which was carried out at the BAPLITBANGDA office in Padangsidimpuan City with the basics of Microsoft Excel. The purpose of this training is to improve the competence of the workforce in the Padangsidimpuan City BPLITBANGDA environment. The training activities use the drill system, which is a combination of theory and practice. In the practice session, participants work on the given exercises and mentoring is carried out to provide direction for participants. The evaluation was carried out at the end of the PkM implementation, from the statistical evaluation results showed that the training was able to improve the competence of participants in using Microsoft Excel and received positive responses from training participants with 62.78% giving a positive response.

Abstract

Essentially, the involvement of housewives in processing food ingredients into food has become a habit. Housewives’ skills to process food ingredients into food have added value to the food itself. However, all this depends on their determination to avoid food vulnerability. The target of the community service activities of the Student Creativity Program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (PKM Fisip) of the Tanjungpura University, is the joint activities of the Women’s Family Welfare Program (PKK) and the Women’s Qur’anic Study Congregation (Majelis Taklim). This can be seen in the activities of the housewives in Punggur Kecil Village of Sungai Kakap Sub-District. Various types of food that can be processed into traditional cakes come from their own farms such as crop plants that can be processed into foods that have a high nutritional value, delicious taste and assured cleanliness. The housewives’ ability to process food to sell can increase family income.

Abstract

The practice of making financial reports based on Microsoft Excel for managing business processes for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) industry is very much needed. A very easy to understand Microsoft Excel-based bookkeeping system has now been created with the aim of helping business actors in obtaining effective and efficient financial reports. On this basis, time is needed to improve the ability of MSME business actors in Semarang City to use a Microsoft Excel-based financial reporting system to manage their business reports. The purpose of this training is to improve the business performance of partners, especially batik MSMEs who are members of the PEL in the city of Semarang. The capacity building of partners will be accommodated through the Community Service (PKM) program using face-to-face training methods. Partners who are members of the batik business center as training participants have received training to increase skills in using the manual bookkeeping system. Based on the problems above, the implementation of this service activity is by providing direct practice accompanied by discussions about the process of making Microsoft Excel-based financial reports which include mentoring, software improvements and direct operating practices. The implementation of this community service activity will be held in the even semester of 2021/2022. In this service, the output achieved is that partners can find out the benefits of the system and can use features to process their financial reports directly. Training participants can use a microsoft excel-based bookkeeping system to journalize every transaction, so that they can get financial reports quickly and efficiently.
