Abstract

Pendidikan dapat dikatakan suatu upaya pengembangan potensi dan penanaman nilai-nilai sosial budaya yang diyakini oleh sekelompok masyarakat agar dapat mempertahankan hidupnya. Guru sebagai peran utama harus memiliki kecakapan yang beragam sebagai modal pendampingan pendidikan peserta didik, di antaranya adalah kompetensi sosial. Kompetensi sosial pada guru dapat memberikan gambaran watak kehidupan bermasyarakat serta nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalamnya kepada peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan, metode penelitian kepustakaan melalui berbagai prosedur. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kompetensi sosial pada guru memberikan implikasi terhadap proses pendidikan yang diterima oleh peserta didik, pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran, keefektifan daya tangkap peserta didik yang sesuai dengan psikologi sosial masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya pendidikan merupakan upaya menyampaikan wawasan keterampilan, serta keahlian tertentu kepada orang lain. Diantara faktor yang mempengaruhi suatu proses pembelajaran adalah kompetensi guru. Kompetensi guru tidak menjadi sempurna apabila guru hanya mampu menyampaikan bahan ajar yang dilakukan secara langsung dikelas. Namun dibutuhkan pula kompetensi pedagogik guru yang harus melekat dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan guru sebagai instrumen penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Asy-Syafi’iyah Jatinangor yang dinilai bahwa guru MI Asy-Syafi’iyah telah melaksanakan sebagian besar kompetensi pedagogik dengan: memahami peserta didik; membuat perancangan pembelajaran; melaksanakan proses pembelajaran; dan mengevaluasi hasil belajar.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter diperlukan untuk membentuk sikap, kepribadian dan moral suatu bangsa. Dalam penerapannya pendidikan karakter dapat diterapkan melalui proses pembelajaran salah satunya dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran IPS dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik dan untuk mengetahui penerapan atau implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam IPS. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan, metode penelitian kepustakaan melalui berbagai prosedur yang disepakati. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pendidik atau guru dan sekolah berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui tata tertib sekolah, kegiatan yang diikuti dan proses pembelajaran. Pendidikan karakter diterapkan pada siswa melalui IPS yang disesuaikan dengan materi dan kondisi siswa. Metode pembelajaran dan pemahaman guru terhadap materi juga mempengaruhi perkembangan pendidikan karakter. Dalam pembelajaran IPS juga memiliki tujuan yang sama dengan pendidikan karakter yaitu menciptakan warga negara yang baik dan memiliki nilai moral.

Abstract

Extracurricular Alquran Reading and Writing activities are crucial as they help elementary school students understand moral and spiritual values. These activities contribute to the affective development of students by enhancing their motivation, discipline, and sense of responsibility through structured and meaningful learning. This study aims to analyze the impact of extracurricular Alquran Reading and Writing activities on the affective development of elementary school students. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, the study explores various relevant sources. The findings indicate that Alquran Reading and Writing activities have a significantly positive impact on students' affective aspects, including increased motivation, discipline, and spiritual attitudes. Support from teachers and family environments plays a vital role in the effectiveness of these activities. These findings highlight the importance of integrating religion-based extracurricular activities into the elementary school curriculum to support students' holistic affective development.

Abstract

This study explores the development of entrepreneurial skills in elementary school students through the Market Day program. Using a qualitative approach with a literature study method, this research analyzes various sources to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the program. Market Day provides a platform for students to directly experience entrepreneurial activities, including planning, production, marketing, and sales. The findings show that Market Day significantly enhances students' understanding of business concepts and fosters their interest in entrepreneurship. Additionally, with the support of teachers and parents, students gain meaningful and relevant learning experiences, preparing them to face real-world challenges. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating practical programs like Market Day into the curriculum to develop entrepreneurial skills from an early age, helping students become more independent and innovative individuals in the future.

Abstract

Guru harus menciptakan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan bisa membangkitkan minat siswa. Salah satu penunjang keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran adalah pemilihan media yang tepat. Dengan memperkenalkan kepada siswa berbagai macam alat permainan dalam kegiatan-kegiatan belajar diharapkan dapat membangkitkan minat anak didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu teknik permainan dalam pembelajaran numbers yaitu dengan memperkenalkan alat permainan kartu bilangan. Teknik permainan kartu angka dibuat dan dimainkan sendiri oleh siswa, sesuai tugas dari guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif atau Collaborative Classroom Action Research. Berdasarkan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata - rata skor hasil belajar menggunakan media kartu bilangan adalah 92 dari skor ideal 100. Skor tertinggi yang dicapai murid adalah 100 dan skor terendah 60, dengan standar yang berarti bahwa skor hasil belajar matematika murid pada Posttest kelas II SD Babusasalam tersebar dari skor terendah 60 sampai skor . sedangkan hasil Pretest dari 25 murid kelas II SD Plus Babussalam pada umumnya memiliki tingkat hasil belajar dalam kategori rendah dengan skor rata - rata 12 dari skor ideal 100. tertinggi 100. Maka penggunaan kartu bilangan pada mata pelajaran bahasa inggris materi penjumlahan 1-10 efektif.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Pop Up Book media in enhancing the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Cicayur 02 Bandung, highlighting the necessity for innovative teaching methods that can boost student engagement and comprehension. Conducted from February 22 to March 8, 2024, the research employed a quantitative experimental model, comparing a class using Pop Up Books with a control class relying solely on textbooks and lectures. The t-test analysis revealed a significance value of 0.041, indicating a substantial difference between pretest and posttest results, with average student scores rising from 66.75 to 82.25, reflecting a 15.5% increase. Student response surveys revealed a high level of enthusiasm, averaging 90.75%. These findings underscore that Pop Up Book media is not only effective in improving learning outcomes but also enhances student motivation and involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of implementing the Whole Language approach on students' learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects at SDN 022 Cicadas, Class IV. Utilizing a quantitative research method with an experimental design, the study involved two groups: an experimental group employing the Whole Language approach and a control group using conventional methods of lectures and assignments. Data were collected through pre-tests conducted before the intervention and post-tests administered following the intervention to assess changes in students' comprehension. The findings reveal that the experimental group experienced a significant improvement in average post-test scores, increasing from 53.6 to 81.27, whereas the control group showed a more modest increase from 53 to 63.6. These results indicate that the Whole Language approach is more effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes compared to traditional methods. The approach was found to not only improve students' understanding of the material but also enhance their engagement and involvement in the learning process. This study underscores the importance of methodological innovation in achieving superior academic results.

Abstract

Humans are social creatures who need others to survive. As social beings, we often interact, whether with family or friends. Therefore, we need to master social skills to be easily accepted in the environment we live in. The most fundamental social skills are honesty and responsibility. Honesty and responsibility can be seen in a person's behavior when they face problems whether they will be honest and admit their mistakes or not, and whether they will take responsibility for their mistakes or not. Therefore, instilling the culture of apologizing in children from an early age is crucial because it aims to embed the positive values of apologizing in children as they grow up. This research uses a literature study that contains an explanation of the factors and efforts to instill the culture of apologizing in schools.

Abstract

This study examines student activity, responses to visual aids, and science learning outcomes concerning heat transfer in fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Bojongkacor, Bandung Regency, utilizing a thermoscope as a visual aid. This topic is significant as active engagement and positive responses to visual aids can enhance conceptual understanding and learning outcomes. The research employs a quantitative methodology involving experimental and control groups, with data collected through student activity observation, response questionnaires, and learning tests (pretest and posttest). Observations revealed that 76.90% of students actively engaged with the visual aid, surpassing the minimum criterion of 75%. Students' responses to the thermoscope were highly positive, with a percentage of 91%. The experimental group exhibited a posttest average score of 78.17, significantly higher than the control group's average of 68.19. Hypothesis testing using a t-test indicated a significance level of 0.038, suggesting that the use of the thermoscope significantly enhances student learning outcomes compared to conventional methods. This study underscores the critical role of visual aids in improving science education effectiveness.
