Abstract

This study aims to examine the writing skills of 11th graders at SMK Padang focusing on the generic structure in procedural texts. Seeing the use of 3 elements contained in the generic structure, namely objectives, materials, and steps. This study uses a text document made by students and a checklist document as a research instrument. The researcher took the document of the written procedure text from the eleventh grade. Researchers took documents from class eleven fashion 1, clothing 2, clothing 3, and culinary 3 from a total sample of 114 then researchers used a random sampling technique by taking 15% of the number of children so that the sample analyzed was 17 documents. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results of the study found that there were 12 correct documents in the use of 3 generic elements of structure in the procedure text. The 12 documents are complete in the use of objectives, materials, and steps, while there are 5 documents that are incomplete in the use of the 3 elements in the generic structure. The five documents on average have errors in the use of materials, these 5 documents do not contain steps or explanations of what materials are needed in these activities that are in accordance with the objectives of the text. So that the results of the overall writing ability of students on the generic structure are included in the good category because it is guided by the results of students' writing about procedural texts.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa permasalahan mahasiswa dalam membunyikan akhiran -ed dalam membaca nyaring bagi mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat di tahun akademik 2019/2020. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah-masalah yang membuat mahasiswa belum bisa membunyikan akhiran –ed dalam Bahasa Inggris secara benar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualtitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan reading aloud test, interview dan audio recording sebagai instrument. Peneliti menggunakan sample untuk test sebanyak 42, dan 30 sample untuk wawancara, yang diperoleh dari hasil test mahasiswa yang mendapatkan nilai minimum (poor). Hasil dari analisa penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa permasalahan mahasiswa dalam membunyikan akhiran -ed dalam membaca nyaring yaitu, Perbedaan sistem bunyi antara Bahasa Inggris dengan Bahasa ibu mereka (mother tongue), locality (environment), personality, motivation, dan lack of knowledge.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui program,  mendeskripsikan peran guru PAI, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran guru PAI, dan mengetahui upaya-upaya guru PAI sebagai konselor dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan kepribadian bagi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan setelah pemeriksaan keabsahan data. Untuk menguji keabsahan data dan validitas data, peneliti mencocokkan dan membandingkan data dari berbagai sumber, baik sumber lisan (wawancara) maupun sumber tulisan (dokumen dan pustaka), maupun data hasil observasi. Pengujian keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik-teknik triangulasi, perpanjangan kehadiran, pengamatan secara terus menerus, dan pengecekan kecukupan referensi. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian pertanyaan pertama, bimbingan langsung ketika proses belajar mengajar, bimbingan dalam kegiatan ekstra kurikuler wajib, bimbingan dalam kegiatan rohis, bimbingan dalam kegiatan kultum, bimbingan ketika mensosialisasikan peraturan sekolah, bimbingan dalam pembekalan magang bagi siswa yang akan mengikuti prakerin, dan bimbingan ketika melakukan kunjungan magang. Pertanyaan kedua adalah guru PAI sebagai informator, fasilitator, moderator, motivator, dan kolaborator. Pertanyaan ketiga adalah faktor kompetensi guru PAI, orang tua, pribadi siswa,  lingkungan, dan sarana prasarana. Pertanyaan keempat adalah mengidentifikasi masalah, melakukan diagnosis, menyusun rencana tindakan, memberikan bantuan, dan tindak lanjut. Juga melalui bimbingan langsung, bimbingan tidak langsung, dan dengan melakukan kerjasama.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of high grade students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau. This problem is marked by the fact that there are still many students who are less disciplined towards online and offline learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning discipline during the covid-19 pandemic on the learning outcomes of highclass students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau, Padang Pariaman Regency. This research is a correlational study. The population in this study amounted to 50 students and the entire population was sampled with a total sampling technique. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire to measure student learning discipline variables to describe student learning outcomes for high grade students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was an influence of learning discipline on the learning outcomes of high grade students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient value of 0.799, thus indicating that the learning discipline variable has an influence on student learning outcomes (t count 9.215 > t table 1.678). While the value of the determinant coefficient is 63.84%, this shows that the learning outcomes of high grade students at SDN 16 Sungai Limau 63.84% are influenced by student discipline variables, while the remaining 36.16% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by how a person acts in making decisions to choose a place to study with various considerations, whether by looking at the brand image, location education costs or promotions carried out by a campus in attracting students. This study aims to find the extent of the influence of education costs, brand image, location and promotion of the decision of students choosing to study at the National STKIP. The type of research used in this study is correlation. The population in this study was 440 people with 209 Proposional Random Sampling sampling techniques. Data collected by descriptive analysis and prerequisite test analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis are in the quantitative category both in the amount of 72.42 and partially the education costs of education, brand image, location and promotion have a significant positive effect on the decision of students to choose to study at STKIP Nasional. Then the results of simultaneous data analysis of education costs, brand image, location and promotion show the number 0.172 or 17.2%.

Abstract

Based on field observation, it indicated that the performance the employees of the Education Department in Pariaman is not optimal. This will be the worried affect in achieving of the goals of achieved this institution. Researcher suspected the leadership style of superiors and achievement motivation affects employees performance of the Education Department in Pariaman, therefore, research must be done to test its truth. This research aimed to reveal the contribution of leadership style and achievement motivation employer to employee performance of the Education Department in Pariaman. The hypothesis tested in this study were: 1) leadership style employer contribution to employee performance of the Education Department in Pariaman, 2) achievement motivation to contribute to employee performance of the Education Office in pariaman, 3) leadership style and achievement motivation employer jointly contribute to performance of the Education Department officials in Pariaman. The population was the officials of the Education Department. Total population was of more than 101 people. 55 studied of samples, taken using proportional stratified random sampling technique, considering the strata level of education and working lives. The research instrument used to collect data is the Likert questionnaire that has been tested the validity and reliability. Results of data analysis showed that leadership style contributed to the Employee Performance Superior of the Education department in Pariaman of 20,4% and Achievement Motivation contribute 9.2% Employee Performance and Superior Leadership Style and Motivation Achievement jointly contribute to the employee Performance of the Education department in Pariaman was 25.6%. Based on the results of descriptive analysis showed that, leadership style is superior, including the category, achievement motivation at appropriate category and also employee performance at appropriate category. Leadership style employer contribution and achievement motivation are two important factors that could affect the performance of employees in addition to other factors that are not negligible bias which also contribute to employee performance of the Education Department Pariaman that have not been studied in this research

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Bentuk peran orang tua dalam mendisiplinkan anak yang masih duduk di Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Korong Tiram, kecamatan ulakan tapakis, kabupaten padang pariaman, serta untuk megetahui Faktor Penghambat penanaman disiplin terhadap anak usia sekolah dasar di Korong Tiram, Kecamatan Ulakan Tapakis, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis deskriptif. Fokus penelitian yaitu bentuk pendisiplinan anak. Tahap kegiatan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap hasil laporan, sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar pedoman wawancara, prosedur pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data yaitu triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menjelaskan, menguraikan, dan menggambarkan sesuai permasalahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Orang tua merupakan kunci utama dalam menerapkan kedisiplinan pada anak dan tetap mengawasi anaknya baik dari segi waktu maupun perilaku, (2) Faktor Penghambat dalam menanamkan sikap disiplin bagi anak usia sekolah dasar yaitu kurangnya konsistensi orang tua dalam memberikan keteladanan dikarenakan kesibukan orang tua dalam bekerja dan kurang bersinerginya antara orang tua dan guru dalam hal waktu dan perhatian.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze in depth the implementation of SN DIKTI in the aspects of education and learning. The analysis is carried out through program evaluation starting from Context, Input, Process, Product, and Outcome. The type of research is Evaluation Research which is carried out in the National STKIP environment. The results of the research are (1) Study Program requires lecturers to prepare teaching materials based on KKNI; (2) the development of science and technology (Science and Technology) based on the results of research and service and provide enlightenment in fostering faith and piety (Imtaq); (3) the implementation of Reward and Punishman for lecturers implementing or violating any SOP that applies to study programs; (4) the study program implements a monitoring mechanism for student attendance, the presence of lecturers, and the suitability of the lecture material taught with the syllabus and RPS for each meeting based on the SOP for the lecture monitoring and evaluation mechanism and the results are followed up. It can be concluded that this alternative policy can be trusted and can be used as a guide in the development of National Education Standards at the National STKIP.
