Abstract

One indicator of language dynamics is changes in the language itself. One of them is a change in the number of items and vocabulary. Looking at this survey data, we see an increase in the number of participants. This development was marked by changes in the number of participants from KBBI I to KBBI II, from KBBI II to KBBI III, and from KBBI III to KBBI IV. Dictionary entries need to be expanded. Perhaps, there were no special entries in earlier dictionaries, but as development progressed, these entries appeared in later editions of dictionaries. Or vice versa: the previous edition had a certain entry, but that entry is not in the next edition. Therefore, there are several options to change the existence of an entry in KBBI. Dictionaries as lexicographic products are often used in different versions in practice. An ideal dictionary always refers to a language system. It cannot be denied that Indonesian as a national and national language has the ability to become the language of modern science and technology in nation building. The development of various scientific and technological languages must be carried out sparingly and carefully, because it requires clear responses from listeners and readers. The rules of syntax and language formation as well as areas of substitution must be easy to understand. Combined with economical use of language, precision and clarity of syntax, and the elimination of personal elements, it is possible to create a common diversity in science and technology. For example, the absorption of words and terms actually occurs more easily and evenly. The words authentic, validating, validating, and authentic come from the word valid and are synonyms for the words valid, validating, validating, and legitimate.

Abstract

Analysis of the teaching materials used by students in pantun learning during the early phase D, grade 7 of junior high school, semester 1, showed that the explanation of pantun material was very limited, and the practice questions used to assess students' understanding were also scarce. Additionally, the integration of character education content in pantun teaching materials was lacking. This highlighted the need for the development of a pantun learning module with a global diversity perspective. This study aimed to (1) analyze the needs for a module in pantun learning, and (2) develop a prototype of a pantun learning module with global diversity awareness. The research and development design were divided into seven stages, namely preliminary survey, initial prototype development, product design, product validation, design improvement, limited trial, and final design improvement. The results of this study indicated that the created module prototype was suitable for use as a teaching material in pantun learning. This was evident from the average validation scores of 88.5 from experts, which fell under the "good" category, and 88.75 from practitioners, also classified as "good". The findings of this research contributed to the field of pantun learning material development and could serve as a reference for enhancing creativity and skills in developing teaching materials.

Abstract

Assessment activities are an urgent matter that educational units must carry out. Learning assessment based on Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is also an important part of creating the effectiveness of the learning process. HOTS-based assessment is important for the learning process. This is because the results of the critical thinking process are easier to transfer, can understand concepts in depth, and can ultimately be applied to everyday life. The Independent Curriculum frees teachers to make their assessments according to their needs. There is a need for assessment guidelines as a reference for teachers according to the Merdeka curriculum. This research aims to determine how Indonesian language teachers as user practitioners perceive the development of end-of-semester assessment guidelines for class VII Indonesian language subjects containing HOTS and Pancasila student profiles. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques originating from a teacher needs questionnaire regarding developing end-of-semester assessment guidelines for class VII Indonesian language subjects containing HOTS and Pancasila student profiles. The results of this research are a description of teachers' perceptions regarding the development of end-of-semester assessment guidelines for class VII Indonesian language subjects containing HOTS and Pancasila student profiles. As a result, 90% of respondents stated that the purpose of this assessment was to measure student learning achievement. The research findings also show that 80% of respondents stated that the development of this assessment was very interesting and useful for learning innovation and could improve students' 21st-century competencies. Apart from that, this research can also be a reference for teachers in carrying out assessment activities according to the Merdeka Belajar curriculum in Middle School Class VII Semester 1 for Indonesian Language Subjects.

Abstract

The negotiation writing books that are circulating do not fully support writing and critical reasoning skills. This research aims to outline the needs of book development, develop enrichment book profiles, describe expert assessments, and test the effectiveness of books in a limited way. The content of the Pancasila student profile, the element of critical reasoning, is integrated into the text contained in the enrichment book. This content is used to improve students' competence in writing negotiation texts and critical reasoning. This research is a Research and Development (RnD) research with 6 steps, namely (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, and (6) product testing. The results of the study show that students and educators need enrichment books to write negotiation texts containing profiles of Pancasila students, and elements of critical reasoning. The validation test showed a very good category with an average gain of 98.2. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the enrichment book was proven to be effective in learning to write negotiation texts, as evidenced by the increase in pretest and posttest scores with the results of the t-test sig (2-tailed) 0.01<0.05.
