Abstract

PT. Sinar Nusa Indonesia (SNI) is an Indonesian company using multilevel marketing techniques, that sells a variety of products, primarily in the health and home care market. A company using marketing mix strategy (product, price, place and promotion) to increase purchasing decision, but can’t reached the sales target. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of marketing mix to purchase decision of PT. SNI product. This type of research used to be an explanation (explanatory research). The research is determined by using a purposive random sampling with sample 100 respondents. Analysis technique using linier regression analysis. From analysis can be concluded as follows : a) There is a positive and significant influence of the product to the purchasing decision, b) There is a positive and significant influence of the price to the purchasing decision, c) There is a positive and significant influence of the place to the purchasing decision, d) There is a positive and significant influence of the promotion to the purchasing decision, e) There is a significant influence of the marketing mix to the purchasing decision. Simultaneously, marketing mix influence purchasing decision with contribution 49,1 %.The conclution of this research is marketing mix influence purchase decision MLM product of PT. SNI. Suggestion posed for this research is necessary to the product’s quality and variation by making innovation of new product in order not to bore customer. A company might increase efficiency to reach a better price of the product. Make any creative promotion by adding reward is also needed to increase customer purchase decision.

Abstract

PC Tablet Apple iPad is a tablet made by the Apple Inc. Tablet is sort of electronic device that looks like a regular smartphone, but with larger screen than the common smartphone. The difference tablet with the smartphone is that tablet didn't have telephony function as well short message service that usually embedded with cellphone. Apple Inc. produces many things, from smartphone until internet router, and iPad is one of the thing that bridging the gap between their smartphone, known as iPhone, to their own personal computer operating system, known as Mac OS. Producer hoping that iPad would simplify the user to do their needs that can't be executed by iPhone and the user didn't have to bother to operate their PCs. This research used explanatory research characteristic, with 100 respondents whose possess Apple iPad. This research also used non probability sampling technic particularly purposive sampling. Analysis technic used are validity test, reliability test, simple regression linear, double regression linear, T test, and F test with SPSS 21.0. From the research conclusion can be learned that product innovation, brand image and price have impact on the purchasing decision. The improvement of product innovation, brand innovation and price would improve the purchasing decision. This research suggests improving product innovation with consumer oriented value, which is provides more diverse features, maintainning brand image that Apple have already achieved, with the objective to survive market pressure from other products, and the last thing is affordability of price to acquire broader market to reduced market shifting probability and improve purchasing decision.

Abstract

Performance is the result of work that attained by people to implement their duties based on accomplishment, experience, sincerity and time. External factors that affect salesperson's performance are standard operating procedures (SOP) and monitoring. This research aimed to find out the impression of SOP and monitoring to salesperson's performance. The type of this research is explanatory research, by censussing 63 respondents. The analysis method using multiple regression analysis,korelasi,cross tabel and determinasi koefisien. Measurement scale using Likert Scale. It analyzed by linear test and significance teat that supported by SPSS 16.0.The results showed a positive and significant influence between standard operating procedures (SOP) and monitoring toward the satisfaction of salesperson's performance partially, the influence of standard operating procedures (SOP) and monitoring for a combination toward salesperson's performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of promotion, product quality, and product’s design to the purchasing decision on Yamaha Mio at Sumber Baru Motor Dealer Muntilan. The population of this study are the consumers who purchased Yamaha Mio motorcycles. The samples of this study were 96 respondents that taken by purposive sampling. The data collection technique is done by using a questionnaire. This thesis measurement scale was using Likert scale. The data analysis was simple linear regression and multiple regression. The promotion variables influence the purchasing decisions at 78.3 percent. The quality of the product variables affects the purchase decisions at 51.5 percent. The product design variables influence the purchasing decisions at 81.6 percent. The promotion variable, product quality, and product design influenced to the buying decision for 85.9 percent. This means that the increasing of the promotion, the product quality, and the product design is expected to increase the purchasing decision. Based on this research, Sumber Baru Motor Dealer Muntilan trying to create exciting promotions and improve the quality of the product as well as the product’s design of Yamaha Mio motorcycle which believed has a positive impact on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Human resources is one of factors has an important role in improving employee performance. The population of this study were 86 employees as respondent.  From the results of data analysis conclude that Internal Communication has significant effect on Job Satisfaction with 45,8%, Working Environment influence Job Satisfaction with 36,7%, Internal Communication influences Job working performances with 18.5%. Working environment influences workers performances with 10.1%. Job satisfactions influence Workers performance with 11.6%. Together with Internal communication and Working Environment influence workers performance as 19.3%. and together with Internal communication, worker environment and job satisfaction to worker performances as 18.4%. it shows that as the internal communication, worker environment and job satisfaction are going well, the worker performance will going well alsoAccording to this research in the management of Bank Tabungan Negara Company, we have to pay more attention to the internal communication in that company. Good communication, with no obstacle, harmony has always been there so that the workers can work better and move straightly to the goals of the company. The company has to concern about the worker environment so they will feel comfort and happy while doing their works. Job satisfaction has to be concerned, especially among the upper and lower class workers and also with the same class. A harmony and healthy relation has to be kept and the worker environment has to be increased for better future of the company

Abstract

PT. PLN ( Persero ) area of Semarang is a company engaged in the provision of electricity services in Semarang. This study aims to determine themselves the extent of the influence of organizational culture ( X1 ) , Leadership ( X2 ) , Motivation ( Z ) of the Employee Performance ( Y ) PT. PLN ( Persero ) Semarang area . This type of research is explanatory research , the method of data collection using oral interviews and data collection devices using a questionnaire with a sample of 91 respondents employees of PT PLN ( Persero ) Semarang area through sampling techniques performed by sampling saturated or also known as the census . Results from this study is that there is influence between organizational culture , leadership , and motivation on employee performance PT. PLN ( Persero ) Semarang area of 60.6 % , while 39.4 % is influenced by other factors . Then the most impact is affecting the performance of organizational culture indirectly ( indirect ) through the motivation of 0.088 . Compared with the leadership to influence performance indirectly ( indirect ) amounted to 0,089 . This means that the organizational culture and leadership will not be able to affect the performance , if the employee has previously had the motivation of organizational culture and leadership are given .. Advice can be given in this study , namely PT . PLN ( Persero ) Semarang area is to create a climate of better organizational culture within the company , it should be held periodically evaluate the implementation of Electricity for a Better Life.

Abstract

Kimia Farma focuses on improving the quality of community life, especially in terms of health and the environment. Semarang Plant, Particularly producing  jatropha  oil, vegetable  oil, and  cosmetics (powder). The purpose of research is to determine the effect of motivation, discipline, Environment, and Employee Capability of Employee Performance. There are 95 respondents in the sample by census. Research using collection techniques with interview using questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using the t test, F test, correlation coefficient, and the coefficient of determination. Analysis of data using simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS 16.0. The result showed that the effect of motivation on Employee Performance with a correlation coefficient of 0,773 and a coefficient of determination of 59,7%, the effect of discipline on Employee Performance with a correlation coefficient of 0,724 and a coefficient of determination of 52,4%, the effect of Environment on Employee Performance with a correlation coefficient of 0,856 and a coefficient of determination of 73,3%, the effect of Employee Capability on Employee Performance with a correlation coefficient of 0,888 and a coefficient of determination of 78,9%, the effect of motivation, discipline, Environment, and Employee Capability of Employee Performance the effect on job statisfaction with the equation Y = 1,374 + 0,059X1 + 0,052(X2) + 0,180(X3) + 0,621(X4). This mean a good  motivation, discipline,  Environment, and Employee Capability of Employee Performance it will get higher  statisfaction.

Abstract

The success of a company in carrying out its operations, is inseparable from the quality management of its human resources. One important goal in the management of human resources within an organization is the creation of employee performance . PT. Pelindo III in branch Semarang is a company SOE (State Owned Enterprises) which is rapidly growing in the field of transportation services with the business of loading and unloading containers and shipping (export) and revenue (import) of goods in large quantities. The problem in this study is the decline in the performance of employees. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership (X1) and compensation (X2) on employee performance (Y) PT. Pelindo III in branch Semarang. This type of research is explanatory research. Based on the analysis data can be concluded that there is a leadership influence on job performance and compensation PT. Pelindo III in branch Semarang. The higher or better leadership and compensation received, then the employee performance will increase. Advice can be given in this study is that the leader is always willing to assist employees in dealing with the difficulties of working so that the employee's job easier and lighter and more quickly resolved to the next job. In addition, need to reconsider the granting overtime pay in accordance with the given task, considering the employees have to work after hours. Meanwhile, for the quality of works are expected the employee to work more carefully and not rush in carrying out the tasks assigned, if necessary, re-inspection and supervision of the work is done to avoid mistakes in the work so that the quality of work can be maintained and increased as expected the company.
