Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether the effect on earnings drawdown of debt capital in PT. Tunas Brothers in Bandar Lampung. The purpose based on the problems faced by PT. Tunas Brothers earned income in the form of fluctuation and the large amount of foreign capital more than the amount of capital used by the company in the years studied. The hypothesis is. if the level of economic profitability of the company is greater than the amount of the interest rate, the withdrawal will have no impact or a positive impact on earnings, equity research uses quantitative analysis and ratio analysis that include: Profit Margin, Operating Asset Turnover, Economic Profitability, Equity earnings and Qualitative Analysis of theoretical approaches to the relationship between the ratio of Debt Equity. From the analysis carried out can be concluded that in the case of withdrawal of debt, the company still did not consider whether the results to be obtained by pulling the debt will be greater than the amount of interest payable or not, so this will make Equity Profitability levels become unmanageable.

Abstract

Problems of PT. Duta Marga Silima in Jakarta is that employees often face problems in the work environment, both with colleagues, superiors or with the work itself. Employee attitudesin response to the work environment will be able to influence the performance of employees. The employee attitude there are three kind of employee attitude, that is job satisfaction,organizational commitment and job involvement. The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of work attitudes including job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and work engagement to employee performance at PT. Duta Marga Silima in Jakarta. Based on the Simple Linear Regression Test by using SPPS program version 14.00,job satisfaction coefficient B = 1.534, at ρ = 0.000 <0.05 with determination R ² = 0.409 (40.9%); organizational commitment coefficient B = 0.774, the ρ = 0.000 <0.05 withdetermination R ² = 0.453 (45.3%), and job involvement coefficient B = 0.774, and ρ = 0.000 <0.05 with determination R ² = 0.424 (42.4%). It can be concluded that job satisfaction,organizational commitment, and job involvement have significant and positive impact on employee performance, and the hypothesis that job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job involvement have significant and positive impact on the performance of employees at PT. Duta Marga Silima in Jakarta is true and acceptable.

Abstract

PT. Varia Intra Finance engaged in vehicle leasing KTM Brand Lampung Province facing the problem of low levels of labor discipline and a level of performance. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between the job discipline with employee performance PT. Varia  Intra Finance Branch Lampung. This research uses descriptive method, Library Research and Field Research, and data collection techniques of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. This study is a population and employs 31 people as respondents. In conducting the analysis used qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis. Formula used in the quantitative analysis Product Moment Correlation and t- test. Based on the results of the qualitative analysis it can be concluded that the response of employees to work discipline is low. It can be seen from the results that 23% of respondents answering high, 32% moderate, 45% said low. Responses also employee performance in the category of low rate of 19% said the performance was already high, and 29% moderate, and 52% said low. Based on the results of quantitative analysis Product Moment Correlation obtained value of r = 0.802, further consultation with the r-table at n = 31, significant at the 95% level (α = 5%) results obtained r-table 0.355, mean-count r> r- table. This means that there is a relationship between the discipline of working with employee performance. To determine the degree of closeness of relationship can be seen table interpretation, r = 0.802 lies between 0.800 to 0.1000, which means having a high influence. From the calculation results obtained by t-value = 7.228 and t-table = 2.048 at n = 31, d = 31-2 = 29 and with a significant level of 95% (α = 5%), mean 7.228 t count> t 2.048-table, meaning Ha accepted. This suggests that there is a strong and positive relationship between the disciplines of work and employee performance. Thus the hypothesis that Job Discipline has to do with the performance of the employees of PT. Varia Intra Finance Branch Lampung is acceptable.

Abstract

Problems faced by the Department of Education of Way Kanan District is still not yet optimal employee performance. Many factors could cause the performance of employees such as work discipline and work motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between discipline and work motivation with employee performance at the Departement of Education of Way Kanan District. This study uses primary data obtained through observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires to a sample of 48 employees, as well as secondary data were sourced from the literature and document. Analysis tool used is the analysis of the correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination. From the calculations, the correlation coefficient with the work discipline of employee performance is 0.619, meaning there is a strong and positive relationship between the discipline of working with performance. Correlation coefficient with the motivation of employee performance is 0.318 means there is a relationship between work motivation and performance of employees with a weak category. Correlation coefficient of work discipline and work motivation with the employees performance is 0.639, meaning there is a strong relationship between labor discipline and work motivation with employee performance. The determination coefficient of the relationship between the discipline and work motivation with employee performance is 0.408. It means, that the contribution of work discipline and work motivation with employee performance by 40.8%, and the remaining 59.2% were related to other variables that were not analyzed. Thus, it can be concluded that the work discipline has a stronger relationship with the employees performance compared with the work motivation, but the discipline all together have strong relationship with the employee performance at at the Department of Education of Way Kanan District.Masalah yang dihadapi oleh Kantor Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Way Kanan adalah masih belum optimalnya kinerja pegawai. Banyak faktor yang dapat menyebabkan rendanya kinerja pegawai diantaranya adalah disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara disiplin dan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Way Kanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada 48 orang pegawai sebagai sampel, serta data sekunder yang bersumber dari literatur dan dokumen. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasi. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi disiplin kerja dengan kinerja pegawai adalah 0,619, berarti terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan positif antara disiplin kerja dengan kinerja. Koefisien korelasi motivasi kerja dengan kinerja pegawai adalah 0,318 berarti terdapat hubungan antara motivasi kerja dan kinerja pegawai dengan katagori yang lemah. Koefisien korelasi variabel disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja pegawai adalah 0,639, berarti terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja pegawai. Koefisien diterminasi hubungan disiplin dan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja pegawai adalah 0,408. Ini berarti, sumbangan disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 40,8%, dan sisanya sebesar 59,2% berhubungan dengan variabel lain yang tidak dianalisis. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa disiplin kerja mempunyai hubungan yang lebih kuat dengan kinerja pegawai dibandingkan dengan motivasi kerja, namun secara bersama-sama disiplin dan motivasi kerja mempunyai hubungan yang kuat dengan kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Way Kanan.

Abstract

Kontribusi perguruan tinggi pada penciptaan tenaga kerja cukup signifikan, sehingga berpengaruh pada meningkatnya angka jumlah tenaga kerja. Jika antara jumlah tenaga kerja dan lapangan kerja tidak seimbang, maka pengangguran dan ketimpangan ekonomi akan menjadi masalah yang kian mendesak untuk segera diatasi. Minimnya jumlah pengusaha disuatu wilayah, menggambarkan rendahnya daya saing yang dimiliki. Untuk menunjang munculnya daya saing yang tinggi, peran serta pendidik untuk lebih aktif dalam memberikan motivasi menjadi pengusaha bagi peserta didiknya. Perguruan tinggi sebagai salah satu sarana dan pemberi fasilitas dalam membentuk generasi muda mempunyai kewajiban dalam melatih dan memberi memotivasi kepada mahasiswanya sehingga menjadi generasi cerdas, mandiri, kreatif, inovatif dan mampu membuat berbagai peluang usaha. Maka dari itu, setiap perguruan tinggi segera menyeimbangkan arah kebijakan perguruan tingginya antara lembaga riset pendidikan tinggi dengan lembaga pembentuk pengusaha. Mahasiswa setelah lulus dituntut untuk lebih inovatif dan kreatif dalam hal pengembangan diri mereka melalui pembuatan lapangan usaha, sehingga kedepan diharapkan dengan terciptanya lapangan pekerjaan yang luas maka pertumbuhan ekonomi di daerah akan ikut meningkat dan tingkat kemiskinan akan semakin menurun.The contribution of college in the creation of labor significant, so that influential to increasing  the amount of labor. If the amount of labor and employment imbalanced, the unemployment and economic inequality will become an increasingly urgent issue to be addressed immediately. Inadequate number of entrepreneurs in a region, describe low competitiveness owned. To support the emergence of high competitiveness, the role of the educator to be more active in providing motivation for learners to be entrepreneurs. College as one of the means and facilitating role in shaping the young generation has an obligation to train and motivate the students to give to become savvy generation, independent, creative, innovative and able to make a variety of business opportunities. Therefore, each college immediately balance the college policy direction between institutions of college research institutions forming businessman. Students after graduation claimed to be more innovative and creative in terms of their personal development through the creation of level playing field, so that future expected with extensive job creation, economic growth in the region will also increase and poverty will decrease.

Abstract

The rapid development of the tourism sector and the business sector in Bandar Lampung, have an impact on the increasing demand for good accommodation for the middle class and the upper middle class. This is demonstrated by the level of habitable accommodation in Bandar Lampung that continues to increase every year. There are different types of accommodation including Guest House. Number of Guest House in Bandar Lampung is still very small, it is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to mendirian Family Guest House in Bandar Lampung. To set up a Guest House there should be a draft cost estimates are required, capital required and the benefits to be obtained. Before the House plan should first be carried out prior analysis Feasibility Study to determine the feasibility of the business. Therefore, the problem of this study is: Does the plan establish Family Guest House in Bandar Lampung is feasible? The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of establishing a plan Family House in Bandar Lampung. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods. For the quantitative method used three criteria, namely Investment: Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B / C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR); Analysis of Pay Back Period (PBP), and Analisisi Break Event Point (BEP) and qualitative methods are used for non-financial approach the technical aspects, market aspects and aspects of marketing, organizational and legal aspects, management aspects and economical aspects. Based on the analysis of financial NPV = 83.444.542,44; Net B / C = 1,633; IRR = 20,620%, Payback Period analysis for 8 years 2 months 23 days, analysis Break Event Point for 8 years 25 days. Based on the analysis of qualitative kuantitarif and it can be concluded that the plan of establishing Guest House Family feasible.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data BPS Tahun 2008, jumlah penduduk Indonesia yang masuk kategori miskin tercatat sebanyak 16,7%. Untuk menanggulangi kemiskinan ini, Departemen Sosial Republik Indonesia menggulirkan Program pengembangan Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) untuk mengelola Usaha Ekonomi Produktif. Program Kelompok Usaha Bersama ini sulit untuk mendapatkan kepercayaan maupun dukungan dari para mitra bisnis. Untuk itu, diperlukan kajian untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan pengembangan KUBE dan dampaknya terhadap  peningkatan pendapatan dan pengentasan kemiskinan. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui skema atau pola pengembangan KUBE, menganalisis hubungan antar faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan KUBE, menganalisis pengaruh keberhasilan pengembangan KUBE terhadap pendapatan masyarakat miskin dan terhadap upaya pengentasan kemiskinan di Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan  metode deskreptif dan induktif. Dalam metode induktif digunakan explanatory survey method dan  alat analisis jalur (path analysis) untuk menemukan pengaruh (kausal) variabel eksogen terhadap variabel endogen. Dari hasil analisis di peroleh pola pengembangan KUBE di Provinsi Lampung sangat dipengaruhi oleh situasi dan kondisi yang berkembang serta oleh bentuk  dan jenis  aktivitas yang dikembangkan anggotanya. Pola pengembangan yang ada belum mengambaran tindak lanjut Pengembangan Usaha bagi anggota yang telah berhasil. Jiwa Kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap Pengembangan KUBE, besaran koefisien jalurnya terbesar pertama. Kualitas Kelembagaan KUBE berpengaruh terhadap Pengembangan KUBE, besaran koefisien jalurnya terbesar kedua.  Kemampuan  Modal Ekonomi  berpengaruh  terhadap Pengembangan KUBE, besaran koefisien jalurnya terbesar ketiga. Pendidikan dan Pelatihan berpengaruh terhadap Pengembangan KUBE, besaran koefisien jalurnya terbesar keempat.  Strategi Kemitraan berpengaruh terhadap Pengembangan KUBE. besaran koefisien jalurnya terbesar kelima dari keenam variabel bebas.Based on BPS data in 2008, Indonesia’s population which categorized as poor recorded at 16.7%. To overcome this poverty, Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia rolling development program Joint Business Group (KUBE) for managing the Productive Economic Business.Joint Business Group program is difficult to gains the trust and support of business partners.Because of that, they need a study to analyze the factors that may affect the successful of KUBE’s development and its impact on income generation and poverty alleviation.Purpose of this study was to determine the scheme or pattern of KUBE development, analyzing the relationship between the factors that influence the KUBE development, KUBE  and analyze the effect of the successful development of the incomes of the poor to fight against poverty inLampung province.This study uses descriptive and inductive study design(?). Inductive method uses explanatory survey method and tool path analysis (path analysis) to find the influence (causal) of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. This study uses deskreptif and inductive. The analysis showed that  KUBE development pattern in Lampung province is strongly influenced by the situation and the growing conditions and the shape and type of activity developed members.The pattern of KUBE development that is not describing business follow-up development for members who have been successful. Spirit of Entrepreneurship influence onKUBE’s development, coefficient greatest track first.Institutional Quality of KUBE influence on Development of KUBE, the second largest track coefficient. Economic Capital Abilitiesinfluence onDevelopment of KUBE, the third largest coefficienttracks.Education and Training influence ondevelopment of KUBE, the fourth largest coefficient tracks. Partnership Strategy influence on Development of KUBE. The path coefficient fifth of six independent variables.

Abstract

Building permit dispensation ( D - IMB ) is a program of the City of Dublin to provide relief to the people in order to have a building permit under the built in 2011 . Order for the public to know the program , the Board of Investment and Licensing ( CEW ) Bandar Lampung society promotion in hopes of making the IMB will file through the D - IMB . The purpose of this study to determine whether a significant effect on the promotion of the manufacture of D - IMB amount in CEW Bandar Lampung . This study used a descriptive method with 44 respondents that were collected Random Sample Sampling . From the qualitative analysis of the results obtained : statements relating to the promotion of respondents who entered higher by 15.9% category , the category was 63.6% , and 20.4% lower category , while statements relating to the manufacture of building permit dispensation incoming category of high by 36.4% , 56.8 % moderate category , and the category of low 6.8 % . It can be concluded that the positive effect on the promotion of the manufacture of D - IMB . From the quantitative analysis with SPSS 20 values obtained R2 = 63.8 % , which means the amount of D - IMB -making is influenced by the Promotion 63.8 % and the remaining 36.2 % is influenced by other variables not examined . ρ - value < α is 0.000 < 0.05 , then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted . It can be concluded that the hypothesis promotion significant effect on the number of building permit dispensation of making the Board of Investment and Licensing Bandar Lampung , is acceptable .

Abstract

This research investigates the influence the Regional Gross Domestic Product to employment absorption. The problems in the Lampung Province are low employment absorption, and fluctuated Regional Gross Domestic Product growth . It is not yet known how the contribution Regional Gross Domestic Product to employment absorption The explanatory method is applied in this research which aims to clarify the causal relationship among the variables and to test the hypotheses. The research used time series secondary data of 30 years and was analysed by multivariate linear regression analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) technique using Eviews program of version 7.0.The findings of this research show that the employment absorption also depends on Regional Gross Domestic Product. This research also reveals that the Regional Gross Domestic Product is a strategy to improve the employment absorption in Lampung Province.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi proses pemberdayaan masyarakat pada kegiatan PNPM-MPd di Kecamatan Pekalongan Lampung Timur ditinjau dari aspek pengembangan kapasitas masyarakat dengan sasaran penelitian yaitu mengkaji implementasi pengembangan kapasitas masyarakat, sikap dan cara pandang masyarakat tentang pemberdayaan masyarakat serta mengkaji derajat keberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai pelaksanaan proses pengembangan kapasitas masyarakat dan mengkaji derajat keberdayaan masyarakat, sedangkan metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengukur sikap dan cara pandang masyarakat terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilaksanakan dalam komunitasnya. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kegiatan pengembangan kapasitas masyarakat telah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan prinsip pemberdayaan dan telah berhasil mengubah tingkat kesadaran masyarakat serta meningkatkan pemahaman untuk berperan dalam pembangunan di komunitasnya. Temuan yang didapat adalah perubahan kesadaran masyarakat tergolong baik/tinggi  dengan nilai rata-rata jawaban kuesioner 3,6 dari skala 5 yang berati masyarakat telah menyadari konsep pemberdayaan dan mengerti untuk menggunakannya bagi kepentingan komunitasnya. Tanggapan masyarakat terhadap program ini tergolong baik/tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 3,39 dari skala 5 yang berarti tanggapan masyarakat dimaknai sebagai sikap dan cara pandang masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan program pembangunan berbasis masyarakat melalui PNPM- MPd, namun untuk menuju tahapan pembiasaan masih membutuhkan pembelajaran yang lebih banyak sehingga mereka benar-benar siap untuk bertanggungjawab secara penuh dalam pengelolaan pembangunan komunitasnya.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the process of community empowerment in PNPM-MPD in East Lampung District of Pekalongan review of aspects of community development with the goal of research is to study the implementation of community capacity building, community attitudes and perspectives on community development and assess the degree of empowerment of the people. This study uses descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative descriptive. Qualitative methods are used to get an overview of the implementation of the capacity building process and assess the degree of community empowerment, whereas quantitative methods are used to measure the attitudes and perspectives of the people who carried out the community empowerment in the community. The survey results revealed that community capacity building activities have been carried out in accordance with the principles of empowerment and has managed to change the level of public awareness and increase understanding to play a role in the development of their communities. The findings are classified as either changes in public awareness / high with an average value of 3.6 out of 5 in questionnaire scale which means the public has been aware of the concept of empowerment and be able to use it for the benefit of the community. Public response to the program is quite good / high with an average value of 3.39 means 5 scale community response is defined as the attitudes and perspectives of the community on the implementation of community-based development programs through PNPM MPD, but to get to the stage of habituation still requires more learning so that they are truly ready for the full responsibility in the management of community development.
