Jurnal Tematik merupakan media komunikasi para akademisi, guru dan pemerhati dunia pendidikan dalam perspektif kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan hasil penelitian, refleksi dan kajian kritis yang aktual berkenaan dengan tema-tema pendidikan, seperti kebijakan atau regulasi pendidikan, kurikulum, inovasi pembelajaran (kajian materi, pendekatan, model, metode, media dan evaluasi belajar) dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan dasar. Terbit tiga kali dalam setahun yakni April, Agustus dan Desember. Terbit pertama kali untuk edisi April 2012. Jurnal Tematik adalah jurnal berkala ilmiah berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian pendidikan dasar pada fokus aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan jurnal nasional bermitra bestari yang diterbitkan tiga kali setahun dalam bentuk cetak dan online oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Medan, Indonesia. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa kelas VII SMP Fatima 2 Sibolga Tahun Pembelajaran 2014/2015; (2) untuk mengetahui proses penggunaan teknik rekayasa teks dengan media komputer dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia; dan (3) untuk mengetahui perubahan tingkah laku siswa setelah pembelajaran menulis kreatif puisi dengan menggunakan teknik rekayasa teks. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa/siswi kelas VII SMP Swasta Fatima 2 Sibolga, Kotamadya Sibolga, menggunakan 2 (dua) siklus yang dimulai pada bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan April 2015. Dari hasil kegiatan pembelajaran dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) pembelajaran dengan teknik rekayasa teks dengan media komputer memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi yang ditandai dengan peningkatan hasil menulis puisi siswa dalam setiap siklus, yaitu siklus I memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 64 terjadi peningkatan hasil menulis puisi 17,18% dan siklus II memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 75% terjadi peningkatan hasil menulis puisi 53,06%; (2) penerapan teknik rekayasa teks dengan media komputer mempunyai pengaruh positif, yaitu peserta didik mampu menuangkan ide dan imajinasinya ke dalam puisi, meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik, serta hasil nilai siswa memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal..   Kata kunci: teknik rekayasa teks dengan media komputer, kemampuan menulis puisi.

Abstract

"> This study aims to know the use of genius learning strategies to increasestudents' motivation and social studies learning outcomes in the fifth grade of SDN028229 West Binjai. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). Theresults of this study are in the first cycle of students who succeeded as many as 10 people(40%) and students who have not completed as many as 15 people (60%) with an averagescore of 62.8. Students who have received good grades on aspects not quickly satisfiedwith the achievements that have been achieved amounted to 166 students with apercentage of 64%, it shows the level of student motivation is low. In the second cycle asa whole students complete 100% with an average value of 75.8. Some indicators thatexperienced an increase in motivation from the 14 existing indicators received apercentage of ≥80% and received a very good predicate. Thus the use of genius learningstrategies can increase the motivation and results of social studies learning of students inclass V SDN 028229 West Binjai

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the CLCK Development model in teacher work programs that can improve Teacher Competence at SDN 091621 Trade. This type of research is a school action research consisting of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely the planning, action, observation and reflection stages. Based on the results of the discussion it can be concluded that the average score from the observation of the pre-cycle of competence in carrying out learning is 70.92 or with sufficient quality and the average score of observations in cycle 1 about the competence of implementing learning is 87.54 or good quality level. Increasing the results of the average score of pre-cycle data, cycle 1 and cycle 2 is as follows: the results of the cycle 1 score is higher than the pre-cycle data score of 16.62, the results of the cycle 2 score are higher than the score of cycle 1 that is equal to 10.15, the results of the data score II are higher than the pre-cycle data score of 26.77, from 10 teachers after being supervised twice there is an increase in the ability of teachers to increase competence in implementing excellent learning.

Abstract

The objective of this study: (1) Developing multimedia interactive learning which can be used as a learning medium human skeletal system; (2) Knowing the students' responses regarding the quality of multimedia interactive learning as a learning medium human skeletal system; and (3) Determine student learning outcomes in human skeletal system materials using interactive multimedia in primary school of public 060876 at east medan. The subjects of this study were all students in grade five public elementary schools 060876 at east medan in the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015 amounting to 30 students. Male students were twenty one people and women amounted to thirteen people. This studi was using the quantitative approach. The mothod of this study was (research and development/R&D), Borg and Gall model. The steps that had been done were; (1) Analyze the needs and characteristics of students; (2) Formulate instructional purposes; (3) Writing and designing media manuscript media science learning; (4) Validation experts; (5) Revision; (6) Testing the final product. The result of this study showing show that (1) Test IPA subject matter experts conducted by two experts were in very good criteria (89%); (2) Test the instructional design experts conducted by two experts are in very good criteria (84%); individual testing is in very good criteria (83%); small group trial is in very good criteria (86%); field trials on the criteria very well (86%), as well as student achievement test trials using the control class and experimental class. That the learning outcomes of students who use interactive multimedia on the matter of human skeletal system is higher than the class that only use the textbook as a medium of learning.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know: (1) planning teaching of comic material form developed model of Based Learning on civics education learning as a main discussion of decision together (2) improving the result of students learning using teaching comic material basis of problem based learning model (3) the effectiveness of teaching comic material developed. The subjects of this research are the fifth grade students MIN Medan Sunggal at second semester at year 2015/2016 that has total 23 students. The total of men is 10 students and women is 13 students. The research is development research Research and Develoment/ R&D), model of ADDIE development has steps, namely: (1) analysis (2) designing (3) developing (4) implementation (5) evaluation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out through classroom visit supervision techniques that can improve the ability of teachers to apply group work models to improve student learning outcomes in SDN 097320 Serapuh. This school action research was carried out in 2 cycles using classroom visit supervision techniques. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The subject of the research was the teacher class of SDN 097320 Serapuh which consisted of 3 students. Data collection methods used written tests in the form, questionnaire observation sheets, and photo results. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the average score from the observation of pre-cycle competencies carrying out learning is 61.5 or with sufficient quality and the average score of observations in cycle 1 about competence implementing learning is 71.9 or good quality level. The increase in the average score of pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2 data is as follows: the results of the cycle 1 score are higher than the pre-cycle data score of 10.37, the results of the cycle 2 score are higher than the cycle 1 score that is equal to 13.9, the results of data score II are higher than the pre-cycle data score of 24.3, from 3 teachers after being supervised twice there was an increase in the ability of teachers to improve their competence in carrying out excellent learning.

Abstract

Achievement various Indonesian student in International Olympic event apparently did not make the quality of Indonesian students increases. On the contrary , about 76.6 percent of junior high school students turned out to be judged " blind " math . Sometimes teachers forget and do not realize the students' mathematics learning experience that is small compared to the learning experience of teachers who has a dozen years . Teachers want what is given in the learning of the student should be able to master . Whereas the absorption ability of the students and the other is not the same . Difficulties experienced by students and low yields can be attributed math teacher delivery methods that are not in accordance with the teaching materials , experiences and abilities of students . Teachers can guide students to imagine (visualize) mathematical problem solving, and encourage the creativity of students in the mastery of concepts or mathematical ability, so as to improve learning outcomes and positive character of students.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran PKn masih rendah dikarenakan guru hanya menggunakan metode ceramah dan lebih menekankan pada membuat catatan dari buku paket, keaktifan siswa siswa untuk bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan dalam kegiatan KBM masih belum optimal sehingga siswa kurang termotivasi untuk belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran PKn di kelas IV A SD Negeri 104214 Kedai Durian. Pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran word square dengan berpedoman dari beberapa teori yang diberikan oleh para ahli diantaranya adalah pendapat dari Asep Mahfuds, Istarani, dan, Djohan Untung. Dengan menggunakan ketiga pendapat para ahli tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model word square adalah model pembelajaran yang menggunakan kotak-kotak berupa teka-teki silang sebagai alat dalam menyampaikan materi ajar dalam proses belajar mengajar. Beberapa kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dari hasil penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan data maka dapat diketahui pada pre tes dari 25 orang siswa dengan nilai rata – rata 54,4 pada saat diberikan tes awal terdapat sebanyak 9 orang siswa yang tuntas (36%) dan sebanyak 16 orang siswa yang mendapat nilai belum tuntas (64%). Dapat diketahui dari 25 orang siswa dengan nilai rata – rata 64,4 pada saat diberikan Siklus I terdapat sebanyak 14 orang siswa yang tuntas (56%) dan sebanyak 11 orang siswa yang mendapat nilai belum tuntas (44%). Dapat diketahui dari 25 orang siswa dengan nilai rata – rata 71,2 pada saat diberikan Siklus II terdapat sebanyak 21 orang siswa yang tuntas (84%) dan sebanyak 4 orang siswa yang mendapat nilai belum tuntas (16%). Kata kunci: hasil belajar, PKn, Word Square Model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of science teachers in SMP preparing for learning by implementing the 2013 curriculum in SMP Negeri sekecamatan Stabat. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. The subjects in this study were 2 science teachers SMP Nigeria 1 Stabat, 4 science teachers SMP Nigeria 2 Stabat, and 5 teachers IPA SMP Nigeria 5 Stabat. Data on the readiness of science teachers in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum were collected through questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that: Science Teachers of SMP Nigeria in Stabat Sub-district stated ready in preparing the learning curriculum 2013, this can be seen from the average percentage of 79% with the ready category; Science Teachers of SMP Nigeria in Stabat Sub-district have categories ready to prepare the learning tools of curriculum 2013, this can be seen from the data as follows: Average percentage of science preparedness science teachers SMP Nigeria 1 Stabat by 79% with ready category. The average percentage of teachers prepared science IPA SMP Nigeria 2 Stabat 70% with categories ready. The average percentage of preparedness of science teachers of state SMP 5 Stabat is 78% in ready category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the effect of the use of manipulative media in project learning on the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 56 years at Paud Harapan Mandiri. This type of research is true experiments. Determination of class samples is done randomly with a total sample of 15 classes per class. The instrument of data collection is the observation guide. Data analysis using t-test and observations were carried out with the observation guide that has been provided with a real level of α = 0.05. Based on the results of the study obtained an average value in the experimental class 10.73 with the highest value of 12 and the lowest value of 9, so that the ability of children to recognize the geometrical shape of the experimental class gained a significant difference. While the average value in the control class 6.7 with the highest value of 8 and the lowest value of 5, so that the ability of children to recognize the geometric shape of the control class has not been maximally developed. Based on these results the hypothesis states that tcount (10.58)> 〖t〗 _table (1,701) at the level of α = 0.05. So it can be concluded that the use of manipulative media in learning projects significantly influences the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years in Harapan Mandiri PAUD Medan District Medan City.
