Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of the work environment, motivation and competence partially and simultaneously on the performance of employees of PT. Main tekologi Jakarta Pekanbaru. The subjects were all employees in the PT. Jakarta Pekanbaru Main Technology in 2014, amounting to 47 people. Using census sampling method and the data obtained is processed by multiple linear regression models (multiple regression) using SPSS 16 for Windows. Partial test results indicate that the work environment have a significant effect on performance; motivation significant effect on performance; and competence have a significant effect on performance. Results of environmental testing work, motivation, and competence simultaneously show the effect on the performance of 85.80% and the remaining 14.20% is influenced by other factors. The author suggests for the leadership of the company to further improve the working environment and pay attention, motivation and competence as significant influence on employee performance.Keywords: Performance, Work Environment, Motivation, Competence

Abstract

This research was conducted on mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with years of research from 2009 to 2012. The data required in this study were obtained by means of the research literature-literature published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely Indonesian Capital Directory (ICMD) issued by the Economic and Financial Instute for using secondary data to collect data in the form of documentation, archives and other data which supports research related to the study variables. The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence about the effect of managerial ownership on financial distress, to provide empirical evidence on the effect of institutional ownership on financial distress, to provide empirical evidence about the influence of foreign ownership of financial distress. Based on the results of the study indicate that there is no influence of managerial ownership with financial distress on mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, there are significant institutional ownership with financial distress on mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, there is no influence of foreign ownership in financial distress at the company mining listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Limitations of the research in this study to determine the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership and foreign ownership of financial distress. The object of research is a mining company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2009-2012. Advice can be given is to the Capital Market Supervisory Agency (Bapepam) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange, oversight of ownership in each company to be made more strict and firm, and establishes rules regarding the ownership of the share capital. And expected to be able to measure the factors that cause financial distress at the company in addition to the variables that I researched.Keywords : Managerial Ownership, Institutional Ownership, Foreign Ownership, Financial Distress.

Abstract

Performance of employees in an organization has a very wide scope. Therefore, it is the leaders of the organization must be able to study and also analyze the factors that can affect the performance of employees in an organization. Man in life are often confronted with each other in a container either formal or informal. One of the processes that will always happen in any organization is communication process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supervision and discipline of working on employee performance factory parts simultaneously and partially on the PT. Adei Plantation and Industry Bengkalis. In carrying out this study, the authors requires data and inforrnasi complete and accurate. Adapaun data types and sources of data in this study is primary data and secondary data. The population in this study is the employees who are employees of the factory at. Adei Plantation & Industries, amounting to 126 people. Sampling is done by using Slovin. While making respondents conducted by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study consisted of: Interview / interview and a list of questions / Questionnaire. While the analysis of the data used is multiple regression analysis, the coefficient derterminasi, F test and t test. Results of research conducted to know the results of monitoring, giving feedback on the improvement and perfection in execution, no longer able to trigger a change in performance. The level of supervision of employees is considered good. The level of employee discipline is good enough to affect performance. Production worker performance is good enough because the employees are not able to achieve the production targets set by the company. Although it has been carried out supervision and discipline of employees has been implemented, but the performance of employees who have not sepsifik changes to better.Keywords: Surveillance, Discipline, Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of company size and profitability on dividend policy and to determine the factors that most strongly influence the dividend policy on manufacturing companies.The population in this study is a manufacturing company that is listed on the indonesia stock exchange in 2007-2012, while the sample in this study only uses 30 manufacturing companies.Data analysis tool used multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing perfomed by t test, F test and derterminasi coeffisecient (R2). Based on the result of the study it was concluded that the profitability and firm size has a significant influence on the partial and simultaneous dividend policy on manufacturing companies. Profitability and size of the company dividend policy has a strong positive relationship that can be seen from the value of the correlation coefficient. Profitability and firm size has major contribution to the company’s dividend policy on manufacturing.Keywords: Dividend policy, profitability, size of company

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the stimulus marketingincludes product, price, promotion, distribution channels and service in the purchase decision smartphone Blackberry and Samsung in the city of Pekanbaru. This study was carried out in the city of Pekanbaru. Population in this study is the consumer smartphone in Pekanbaru.This research is use non-probability sampling method. The population is quite large and can not be known with certainty the actual amount, then to determination of the number of samples by using the method of Hair, wich is the number of samples is the number of indicator variables (questions). There were 15 questions, so the number of samples is 5 x 15 = 75 respondents. While the data analysis using the paired t-test (t-test). The results showed that there are differences in marketing stimulus of Samsung and Blackberry Smartphone. The differences between the two smartphone product are quality and price. It can be seen from the value of t-count > t-table and the Sig <0.05. Thus the hypothesis (Ha) research is acceptable. The results also showed that there are differences in consumer decision of Samsung and Blackberry smartphone. The difference lies in the quality of products which include, brand and model as well as the amount of the purchase. It can be seen from the value of t count> t-table and the Sig <0.05. Abstract

This study ams to determine the influences of leadership and variable compensation on employee produktivity at PT. Murini Sam Sam, Kelurahan Pinggir Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis. As for the population in this study were employees in the production Departement PT. Murini Sam Sam, amounting to 136 and 58 employees in this study were sample dusing slovin. Analysis of the data used method is to use a simultaneous test, and test partial coefficient of Determination. The result showed that there were significant and positive effect of the variables of leadership and compensation, either simultaneously or partial, of the employee productivity PT. Murini Sam Sam 66,30%. Determined by factors of leadership and compensation, where the largest contribution is given by the variable leadership, and 33,70% determined by ther factor that affect of work productivityKeywords: Leadership, Compensation, Employee Productivity

Abstract

The aim of the research is to test the direct and indirect effect of financing decision and capital market condition in mediated by risk toward firm value the company manufactures a variety of industrial sectors companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2008-2012. The population of the research is 54 company and the variety of industry sectors into a sample of 21 companies by N of data as much as 105. The sampling method used is based purposive sampling. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and path analysis. By path analysis, some important findings are obtained that financing decisions no significant influence directly toward company value. Capital markets condition directly is significant influence toward company value. Financing decisions no significant influence directly toward Financial risk. Capital markets condition directly is significantly influence toward Financial risk. Financial risk no significant influence direct toward company value. This means indirectly the financial risk is not able to mediate the relationship between financing decisions toward company value. And financial risks are also not able to mediate the relationship between the capital markets condition toward value of company.Keywords: Financing decision, capital markets condition and company value

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the role of promotional mix variables which consist of advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, and direct marketing towards brand image of Honda Brio car in Pekanbaru. Sample’s selection that used with the method of non-probability sampling. Selected sample is consumer who uses Honda Brio car, specifically who lives in Pekanbaru city, ever been involved in Honda Brio’s promotional mix activity, and the consumer that considered mature enough (about 20 years old) to fill the questionnaire. The data analysis that used is multiple regression linear analysis which use SPSS version 20. The result indicates simultaneously that advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations and direct marketing have a significant effect towards brand image of Honda Brio car in Pekanbaru, whereas partially, not all of each promotional mix variables have significant effect towards brand image of Honda Brio car in Pekanbaru. Only advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, and public relations that have significant effect towards brand image of Honda Brio car in Pekanbaru, and the most dominant variable or the most powerful variable is public relations.Keywords: Promotional mix, advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing, and brand image.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine information asymmetry, firm size, and profitability on earnings management in manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2009-2012. This study uses earnings management as the dependent variable, as the independent variable by information asymmetry, firm size, and profitability. Purposive sampling method is used to get the sample, and from 153 firms that we observed, we get 80 firms as the samples. To analize the data Multiple Linier Regression, F-test and t-test analysis with are used SPSS 20. The results shows that the information asymmetry, firm size, and profitability variables simultaneously have no significant effect on earnings management. Meanwhile partially, only firm size that has significant effect on earning management.Keywords : Information Asymmetry, Firm Size, Profitability, and Earning Management

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the role of promotional mix variables which consist of advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, and direct marketing towards brand image of Daihatsu Sirion car in Pekanbaru. Sample’s selection that used with the method of non-probability sampling. Selected sample is consumer who uses Daihatsu Sirion car specifically who lives in Pekanbaru city, ever been involved in Daihatsu Sirion promotional mix activity, and the consumer that considered mature enough (about 20 years old) to fill the questionnaire.The data analysis that used is multiple regression linear analysis which use SPSS version 20. The result indicates simultaneously that all variables of promotional mix have a role in make a brand image of Daihatsu Sirion car in Pekanbaru. Known partially that only sales promotion and direct marketing variables that has significant effect for brand image of Daihatsu Sirion car in Pekanbaru. Public relation variable also has the role in establish brand image of Daihatsu Sirion car in Pekanbaru, however it is not significant. Sales promotion is a kind of promotional mix variable that has the most dominant role on establish brand image of Daihatsu Sirion car in Pekanbaru.
