Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak kloroform ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas) peda bakteri E.coli. Ekstrak kloroform ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas) diperoleh dengan cara maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut etanol 96% dan dipekatkan dengan rotary evaporator. Ekstrak kental kemudian difraksi dengan pelarut kloroform dan menghasilkan ekstrak kental kloroform. Konsentrasi yang digunakan adalah 2000 ppm, 1000 ppm, 500 ppm. Ekstrak kental kloroform kemudian diujikan pada bakteri E.coli, aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan dengan cara difusi agar. Daya kerja antibakteri dilakukan dengan mengukur zona hambat yang terbentuk di daerah sekitar kertas cakram. Data dianalisis dengan uji One Way Anova. Hasil uji aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak kloroform ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas) varietas AC putih dengan rata-rata zona hambat yang terbesar yaitu 7,8 mm pada konsentrasi 2000 ppm dan 500 ppm, dan yang kecil yaitu 2 mm pada konsentrasi 1000 ppm. Kekuatan hambat aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak kloroform ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas) pada bakteri E.coli termasuk dalam kategori lemah hingga sedang. Hasil ujilanjut LSD menunjukkan adanya beda nyata pada perlakuan 2000 ppm.Kata Kunci : Aktivitas Antibakteri, Ubi Jalar (Ipomoea batatas L.), Escherichia coli

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kemampuan siswa untuk memecahkan masalah dalam proses pembelajaran masih rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental yaitu One-Shot Case Study. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Kuningan. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 3 kelas yang berjumlah 63 siswa dan pengambilan sampel dengan teknik cluster random sampling yaitu mengambil kelas VII B. Data kemampuan memecahkan masalah dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes uraian, selain itu sebagai data untuk mengetahui berjalan atau tidaknya sintak inkuiri terbimbing dalam pembelajaran peneliti menggunakan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan Statistik parametrik. Hasil penelitian dari lembar observasi menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing telah terlaksana 71,42%. Hasil penelitian dari tes uraian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuri terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada konsep pencemaran lingkungan dengan Zhitung (2,42) Ztabel (2,33). Untuk Zproporsi (30,36) Ztabel (2,33) menujukan bahwa lebih dari 75% siswa yang mencapai nilai diatas KKM.Kata Kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, pencemaran lingkungan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada konsep pengaruh kepadatan populasi manusia terhadap lingkungan dikelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Kuningan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Kuningan. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampel random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes berupa tes objektif, angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t, di peroleh thitung 3,82 dan ttabel pada taraf signifikan 1% 2,66 maka thitung ttabel yang berarti bahwa hipotesis H0 di tolak dan Hi diterima. Dari perhitungan uji Zrataan sebesar 2,42 dan Zdaftar 2,33 maka Zhitung Zdaftar. Selain itu juga dilakukan uji Zproporsi, diperoleh Zhitung sebesar 17,37 dan Zdaftar 2,33 maka Zhitung Zdaftar. Dengan demikian dari hasil uji rataan dan uji proporsi dapat diuji hipotesisnya serta disimpulkan bahwa Hi diterima dan H0 ditolak. Sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching

Abstract

This research is motivated by a number of sweet potato production in Kuningan abundant, but the utilization of sweet potato Brass less desirable for society. In addition there is also a problem of other issues behind this research that most commercially available syrup made from fruits. Thus the number of sweet potato production in Kuningan then made a new innovation in the manufacture of syrup by using materials of sweet potato. It aims to raise local knowledge Regency Brass and provide new information for the public in using sweet potatoes. This study aims to determine whether fortification of white flour sweet potato AC brass affect the manufacture of flavored syrup so preferred by consumers and to determine how the composition of white sweet potato flour brass AC most optimal to produce the flavored syrup is preferred by consumers. This research method using a completely randomized design (CRD). Techniques of data analysis in this research is by using test oragnoleptik (flavor, aroma, viscosity and color). Analysis of the data using statistical and testing using test nonparametri friedman. Objects in this study dalah syrup and subjects in this study were the panelists, the panelists as many as 30 people. Based on the results of data processing by using the friedman test the flavor, aroma, viscosity and color of the results obtained from the four formulations of sweet potato flour resulting in a different effect on the taste, aroma, viscosity and color. In terms of flavor formulations are preferred by the panelists at the F2 formulation with the composition of sweet potato flour 50 grams, for terms of scent formulation preferred by panelists yatu contained in the formulation F4 with as much as 100 grams of flour composition, in terms of viscosity formulations are preferred by panelists yatu contained in the formulation F4 with as much as 100 grams of flour composition, and for terms of color formulations are preferred by the panelists at the F1 formulsai composition of sweet potato flour as much as 25 grams. Hypothesis testing is done by using test friedman, of all treatments showed all of which produce data that count x2 x2 table from, and it states that H0 is rejected and Hi is accepted. So for the first conclusion is that there is an effect on sweet potato flour fortification AC white brass to manufacture flavored syrup so favored by consumers, and to the conclusion that the second is the use of air conditioning composition of sweet potato flour 50 grams white brass produce optimal syrup and bercitrasa so favored by consumers. Abstract

Usage-Based Learning Cycle models Learning Environment Students Against Understanding to Content Ecosystem (An Experiment In Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kramatmulya) Biology Education Program Teacher Training and Education Faculty of the University of Brass. This research is motivated by the low quality of education today, especially in the junior high school level. This is caused by the lack of facilities and infrastructure that support the achievement of the expected learning objectives, in line with it. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Learning Cycle models of students' understanding of the concept of the ecosystem. The method used is the method of True Experimental Design that aims to find the relationship Learning Cycle models to the understanding of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kramatmulya. In this method, taken as many classes with 2 Random selected for experiment class and control class. 2 class (70 students) who used the class VII. A and VII. F from a population of 230 seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kramatmulya in 2013. Learning outcomes data retrieval using achievement test instrument (30 items) and anggket student responses to the application of the learning model. Analysis of the data using statistical hypothesis test - t and t value of 4.27 is obtained at significant level () of 0.05 and 2.66 obtained ttable then t t table, so it can be concluded that the t value is outside the interval t table , which means that there is a difference between the experimental class that uses the Learning Cycle models and control classes that do not use the Learning Cycle models. Or in other words Learning Cycle Model for Understanding effective use of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kramatmulya on ecosystems material with an average value (mean) value of the test in the experimental class was 75.81. While the average test scores in the control class is 64.27. it can be said that the students' understanding of classes taught by the Learning Cycle models better than the class being taught by not using the Learning Cycle Model.Kata Kunci :    Ekosistem, Model Learning Cycle, True Experimental Design

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul ‘’Penerapan Asesmen Autentik Pada Model Pembelajaran PjBL  (Project Based Learning) Untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Konsep Siswa Pada Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan Di Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur’’. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih kurangnya penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi dan masih jarangnya penerapan asesmen autentik pada pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil penerapan asesmen autentik pada model pembelajaran PjBL (Project Based Learning) untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep pada materi Pencemaran Lingkungan di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Pre Eksperimen dengan mengambil 2 kelas yang dijadikan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan perhitungan postes rata – rata adalah 73,04. Berdasarkan perhitungan normalitas didapat nilai X2hitung kelas eksperimen adalah 10,32 sedangkan nilai X2tabel 13,3 karena nilai X2hitung X2tabel maka data tersebut berdistribusi normal. Selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan statistik parametrik yaitu uji Z, berdasarkan hasil analisa data postes dan didukung oleh hasil uji Z menujukan hasil bahwa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning didapat Z hitung rataan - 0,156 dan Z tabel 2,33 ini berarti Z hitung Z daftar . Sedangkan pengujian sampel dengan menggunakan uji Z proporsi diperoleh Z hitung -1,76 dan Z tabel 2,33 ini berarti Z hitung Z daftar . Dengan kata lain H1 ditolak dan H0 diterima. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian analisis data, hasil angket, lembar observasi, asesmen autentik dan uji korelasi maka dapat disimpulkan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan asesmen autentik pada model pembelajaran PjBL (Project Based Learning ) untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur, akan tetapi berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru Biologi SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur bahwa nilai rata – rata ulangan harian siswa adalah 69,26 dibandingkan dengan nilai rata – rata yang didapat setelah melakukan penelitian yaitu 73,04 sudah cukup baik sehingga memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa. Selain itu model pembelajaran Project Based Learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang inovatif yang baik diterapkan pada pembelajaran.Kata Kunci : Asesmen autentik, Project Based Learning, Penguasaan konsep, dan Pencemaran      lingkungan

Abstract

This research is motivated by the science process skills of students is still low, as shown by the students have difficulties in data collection in the field, students are less accurate and less scrupulous in observing and identifying data as well as the students have difficulties in recording and report the results of observations. Formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is the effect of applying the method of guided discovery learning scientific approach to the science process skills of students to the concept of Environmental Pollution in class X SMA Negeri 1 Ciniru at Kuningan Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of guided discovery learning methods with the scientific approach to the science process skills of students to the concept of Environmental Pollution. The method used in this study is the experimental method. Population taken in this study was all students of class X with the number of students of 160 students. Sampling technique with simple random sampling so that students can X.2 class as a class experiment with the number of 40 students and the class as a class X.4 controls the number of 40 students. Data processing technique used is the test of normality, homogeneity test and t test. Science process skills of the experimental group students with the application of guided discovery learning method with Scientifics approach including both categories whereas the control group with conventional teaching methods, including the application of enough categories. Based on statistical calculations obtained t hits (5.373) t daf (1.67), then thank Hi means that there are significant application of guided discovery learning method with a scientific approach to the science process skills on the concept of Environmental Pollution in class X SMA Negeri 1 Ciniru at Kuningan Regency. From these results it can be concluded that the application of the method of guided discovery learning with a scientific approach to improve science process skills on the concept of Environmental Pollution in class X SMA Negeri 1 Ciniru at Kuningan Regency.Keywords: Method of guided discovery learning, scientific approach, science process skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the creative thinking abilities of students through the application of learning models of type group cooperative investigation of the students' creative thinking ability. Creative thinking abilities of students used in this study include three indicators of the ability to think flexibly (flexibility), original thinking skills and the ability to think elaborative. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Kuningan. The method used in this study is an experimental method to design queasy experiment with pre-post test control group. Population taken in this study were all tenth grade students at SMAN 2 Kuningan school in Academic year 2012/2013 a total of seven classes with the number 288 students. Technique sampling by cluster random sampling in 2 to each class there are 32 students in the experimental class and 32 students for grade control data processing technique used is normality test, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing (t test). Based on the test results obtained by statistical hypothesis test value t hit (3.25) t daf (1.67), then thank Hi means that t hits (4.410) t daf (1.67), then the received meaning Hi there implementation of cooperative learning model group investigation can improve students' ability to think creatively on the concept of environmental pollution in tenth grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Kuningan. From these results it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model group investigation may improve the ability to think creatively, it is indicated from the value of post test students' ability to think creatively experimental class better than the control class. Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas proses pembelajaran di kelas masih kurang optimal baik dari segi siswa, guru, media maupun metode pembelajarannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Model Group Investigation (GI) dengan Macromedia Flash Player pada pembelajaran IPA terhadap Peningkatan Pengausaan Konsep Siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Kuningan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi (Quasi Eksperiment design). Untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan, digunakan instrumen berupa tes obyektif untuk mengetahui penguasaan konsep, angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan Model Group Investigation (GI) dengan Macromedia Flash Player, dan lembar observasi siswa untuk melihat proses pembelajaran selama kegiatan beleajar mengajar berlangsung. Uji hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik parametrik dan deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa penguasaan konsep siswa kelas VIII sudah sangat memuaskan. Dengan normalitas data 1,76 dan homogenitas variansi 1,25 maka Fhit Ftab. Dan untuk uji t diperoleh data thitung ttabel yaitu 3,21 1,99. Ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan Model Group Investigation (GI) dengan Macromedia Flash Playersangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Kuningan

Abstract

The Background of the research is low ability students in problem solving science process skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the science learning technology and society in the ability of science process skills. This study used quantitative methods with design pre-experimental of the One-Shot Case Study. To obtain the necessary data, used instruments test questionnaire as the main data. Questionnaire was supporting data collection determine the response of student.  The population was all students in class X SMAN 1 Darma second semester of school year 2013/2014 as many as 190 people. Samples 73 used from two classes, namely class X3 and X4, sampling is done  by cluster random sampling technique. the hypothesis Testing in this study using descriptive statistics test and parametric statistical tests.  Based on the results of the analysis showed that the ability of science process skills class X when the learning is good withan average of 83.68%. Indicator of the ability of science process skills that have the greatest percentage of 90.75% observed  was   with both the category and the smallest percentage gain is the interpretation of the indicator by 78.76%. Hypothesis testing using parametric statistical tests in this case using the Z test to determine the application of the learning model of science technology and society of the ability of science process skills, from data analysis of data obtained from average of 7.65, obtained that ZhitungZtabel yaitu 7.652,33. And to test the proportion of data obtained ZhitungZtable1 7,762.33. This means  that themodel of science technology and society influence the ability of science process skills. 89.66% of students responded positively dan10, 34% gave a negative response to the model of science technology and society.Keywords: learning model of science technology and society, science process skills, environmental pollution
