Abstract

Online learning is an intermediary that bridges the delivery of teacher information to students through the network. Utilization of network through interaction during the implementation of online learning can be used as an opportunity to develop students' social capital. This study aims to determine the effect of online learning in the process of developing students' social capital in civic education. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale, which had been tested for validity and reliability, as well as correlation tests and simple linear regression tests to test the effect of online learning on the development of students' social capital, and partial t-tests to test hypotheses. The results showed that online learning had a positive and significant effect on the development of students' social capital with a level of influence of 27.9%. The development of social capital in online learning forms students into good citizens, critical citizens, and can participate actively in solving all challenges and problems that exist within the scope of citizenship.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the city of Bandung which has a dependence on the food sector in the surrounding area. In order to overcome this problem, the Bandung City government created an Urban Farming program by involving the community to contribute to the implementation of the program. Urban Farming is the program carried out by problems. The results obtained from urban farming in these cities have an impact not only on food problems, but also benefits in the economic sector. This aspect of economic benefits is the focus of research using a qualitative approach with a case study method that was carried out in Pajajaran Village, Bandung City with sources consisting of the Food and Agriculture Office of Bandung City, Pajajaran Village Officials, and the Community. This research data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation studies with data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation, conclusions, and data validation. The results obtained from this study indicate that the participation of citizens in the Urban Farming program is a form of the implementation of the economy civics through the produced are selling value as well as an impact on the community economy and food security City

Abstract

The implementation of remote policies is the answer from the Government to the problems in the world of education caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The many limitations in implementing remote policies during this pandemic, cannot be separated from the problems that occur during the implementation process. Educators play an important role in the successful implementation of remotely, required to innovate and be creative in conveying learning amid all existing limitations. Therefore, this study aims to find out "The extent to which blended learning methods can help in implementing distance learning policies at SMA Labschool UPI Bumi Siliwangi". The approach in this writing uses Qualitative, with the Case Study method. The results of the study showed; 1). From the educator's point of view: a) In terms of time flexibility, the learning process can be done anywhere and anytime, b) In terms of administrative more neatly, c) In terms of administrative more neat, d) More cost-effective, e) In terms of Pancasila education and citizenship, providing a space of persuasion for educators and students. 2). Student point of view a) Able to increase the spirit of learners' learning motivation, b) Help learners better understand learning materials, c) Provide discussion space for educators and learners in PPKn subjects.

Abstract

The emergence of radicalism in Indonesia is based on two factors, namely the macro level and the micro level. At the macro level, radicalism occurs due to the presence of injustice, and socio-economic inequality, which ends in the perception of the failure of the state in guaranteeing the rights of its citizens to welfare. At the micro level, radicalism arises from within a particular individual or group. This paper aims to examine the roots of youth radicalism and examine it from the perspective of the sociology of citizenship. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a systematic review method, namely a research method that summarizes the main research results to be analysed and presented in order to provide accurate, comprehensive, and balanced information. The results of the study show 1) Radicalism is an understanding that wants change and renewal to its roots in social and political ways in an extreme way. 2) The roots of radicalism in the younger generation are indicated by 4 main things, namely mental health, economic inequality, socio-political conditions, and religious commitment, 3) in the perspective of the sociology of citizenship, radicalism is a picture of the failure of a country to prosper its citizens.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the lack of national insight possessed by the younger generation, especially junior high school students. In order to overcome this problem, a movement for inculcating the values of Indonesian nationalism in Civics learning is needed by applying a digital encyclopedia based on local wisdom called the e-Encyclopedia of the Indonesian Customary Law System (ENSHI). ENSHI is an innovative and applicable digital learning media, that summarizes all studies, theories, and arguments of Indonesian customary law which are comprehensively poured into the form of a website. The study used a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental study method involving seventh-grade students of SMPN 1 Cimahi. The study involved two research samples, namely class VII A as the experimental class and class VII D as the control class. The data collection technique used is a series of pre-test and post-test with data analysis techniques using statistics with the help of IBM SPSS Version 25 software. The results obtained from this study are PPKn learning outcomes in the experimental class that apply ENSHI learning media showing significant results compared to the control class which only applies conventional learning.

Abstract

University is one of the educational institutions that is vulnerable to sexual violence, prevention and control efforts have been made but there are still many cases of sexual violence that occur on campus. Sexual violence in universities is a bad image and tarnishes the Indonesian education world. The government and universities must be able to respond and take preventive steps in reducing the number of sexual violence by including sexual education in the national curriculum of the University in order to close the space for sexual violence on campus. Sexual education can provide an overview to students about the boundaries of being able to act sexually to themselves and others, so as not to harm anyone. The method used is normative juridical and analysed descriptively qualitative by using literature review and field studies regarding the application of sexual education in the University curriculum. The result of this research is that regulations are needed so that every university requires sexual education to be a learning activity as a preventive effort to prevent sexual crimes at the university.

Abstract

Citizenship Education is a Compulsory General Subject for all students. Online Learning System or SPADA as one of the distance learning media that is applied in the Citizenship Education course at the Indonesian University of Education. Various influences and obstacles to the use of the Online Learning System are experienced by students in understanding learning material in order to achieve the output of Citizenship Education urgency. This study aims to find out how the influence of the Online Learning System has on the urgency output of student Citizenship Education. The research method used is the mixed method, a combination of qualitative and quantitative with observation instruments, literature studies, and questionnaires. The target is all Office Management Education 2020 A students. The results of this study can be concluded that the Online Learning System has been useful and has had an influence of 80% to produce the urgency output of MKWU Citizenship Education for students of the Indonesian University of Education, especially for students of Office Management Education 2020 A. This is supported by various obstacles and strategies in understanding Citizenship Education material in the Online Learning System

Abstract

This research analyzed the implementation of portofolio based learning models in improving learning outcomes of junior high school students on state sovereignty concept. Methods of research used in Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisted from three Step that is cycle 1, cycle 2, and cycle 3. The sample of this research was one class that consist of 20 Junior High School student in SMPN 2 Sukaraja. This research this conducted with give question about state sovereignty before learning based portfolio model applied. After that for meeting then in cycle 1 start applied learning-based portfolio model until cycle 3. Learning process in all cycles are measured with sheet observation, after that the observer gives reflection on the teacher for cycle improvement. Study results students are measured with give post-test. After applied learning model-based portfolio, the results study show that learning outcomes of student increased in each cycle. In cycle 3 results study whole student get value above KKM. The activities on the portfolio model by the teacher and students are carried out well. Research results this show that learning based portfolio model could use for increase results study student.

Abstract

The allocation of village funds can be said to be optimally empowering the community if it is channeled to the community to prosper and strengthen the economy as part of the economy civics of the community if it is in accordance with a careful planning process and is also based on applicable laws and regulations. Community welfare can be seen when there is an increasing change of opinion accompanied by qualified skills and knowledge so that it can reduce the level of poverty. This research is intended to be able to identify and inform the extent to which the allocation of village funds is optimally distributed to the community or not, especially in the jurisdictional area of Bojongsari Village. This research in the process of preparation using a qualitative approach with a descriptive study method. The data collection technique that the researcher uses is by using interviews, observation, documentation studies, and literature studies. The results of the research obtained on field objectivity show that the impact felt by the community from the empowerment program using village funds has been felt, but if overall the village funds are said to have not been optimally allocated because they are not in accordance with the laws and regulations that govern it.
