Abstract

The problems in this research is the development of teaching material for writing short stories containing ethical themes for students of class IX. The subproblemsare divided into: (1) how is the extent of learning characteristic ofwriting short stories containing ethical themes for students of class IX, (2) how isthe development of writing short stories containing ethical themes for students ofclass IX, (3) how is the effectiveness of learning material for writing short storiescontaining ethical themes for students of class IX. The purposes of this researchare: (1) to decribe the characteristics of short stories on the subject of writingshort stories containing ethical themes for students of class IX, (2) to develop thecharacteristics of short stories on the subject of writing short stories containingethical themes for students of class IX, (3) determine the effectiveness of teachingmaterial on the subject of writing short stories containing ethical themes forstudents of class IXThis study used research and development approach by applying a tenstepimplementation, referring to the theory of Borg and Gall (2002:571) whichare summarized into seven steps.Based on the research analysis and discussion, it is summarized into someconclusions; (1) a description of short stories characteristics in learning writingshort stories containing ethical values for IX grade students, which includes (a) adescription of short stories characteristics based on the short stories conditions,(b) a description of short stories characteristics based on the theme, setting, plot,characters, and the types of short stories, (c) a description of teaching materialscharacteristics in writing short stories is based on the book’s cover like the shape,the size, and thickness of books. (d) a description of teaching materialscharacteristics in writing short stories is based on the language used in the book.(e) while in the supporting aspect.Key words: Improvement of teaching, writing short stories, character building.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the speech learning by using self-learning package. Research on learning portrait addressed within the framework of this magnitude isa descriptive study, which was captured from the observation, journals, interviews,documentation, and direct learning. Based on the analysis, media self-learning package forpembelaajaran speech can be said to improve students speaking competence. Increasedcompetence is characterized by positive attitudes and values increased on average by13.65%, from 78.16 to 91.8. Based on these results, it is suggested Indonesian teacher,should be creative in presenting learning, especially speaking skills. Creativity mediaselection and accuracy of the model is very mentukan successful learning. In addition,practitioners of the field of language education and language studies expert, can capitalizeon this research as a basis for improvement of learning and doing similar research withdifferent objects pebelitianKeywords: learning, speech skills, self-contained guide package

Methods used in this research is to use the method of analysis, methods ofliterature, and moral approach. Based on data analysis, conclusions can be derivedfrom this study as follows: Disguised novel (the Disillusionment): WartimeMemoirs of the work of Rita La Fontaine De Clercq Zubli contains many moralvalues of seven moral personality. the main character in this novel there is a femalecharacter who is also the author of the novel Disguised (the Disillusionment):Wartime Memoirs, namely Rita La Fontaine De Clercq Zubli. morality heroine canbe found in the events that occurred, such as honesty, authentic values, willingnessto take responsibility, moral courage, moral independence, humility, as well asrealistic and critical.Keywords: female character, moral values, novel.

Abstract

Instructional materials to write poetry in the Indonesian language andliterature curriculum perluh developed based on the needs of learners. In thedevelopment of teaching materials for Madrasah Aliyah poetry should be adaptedto the context of the learners who have religious values by integrating religiousvalues. This study aims to identify the needs of the students and teachers in thedevelopment of teaching materials poetry student environment contextual chargedreligious values for madrasah aliyah, decrypt the characteristics of poetryteaching materials developed contextual environment students charged religiousvalues for madrasah aliyah, and determine the effectiveness of the use of teachingmaterials poetry student environment contextual charged religious values formadrasah aliyah. Abstract

Linguists noted people in the region Blora have unique Javanese tradition still maintained until now,namely "Samin Language". This tradition first emerged as a community effort to protect themselves andresist passively against invaders. The fact the field indicates that Samin community no longer exists in thelocation of the early occurrence of Samin learning in Klopoduwur village, subdistrict Banjarejo, Blora.This paper tried to trace the footprints of Samin Java language in the remaining families in the region.Data collected through observation of the recording technique, see, and record, as well as throughquestionnaires. Analysis of data using a qualitative approach and performed with frontier methods.Based on the results of research can be said that there are some differences and similarities between theJava language of descent Samin families (BJKKS) with standard Java language, ie, there are 25differences and 92 similarities. BJKKS also have a variation in a phonological, morphological, andlexical. The differences are minimal and do not show peculiarities Samin style. It proves that BJKKS notmuch different from the standard Java language. Therefore, it can be said that the trail of uniquenessSamin language in Klopoduwur Blora has been lost over the loss of community.Key Words: Javanese, Samin, Klopoduwur Blora, Lost

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Nilai Keislaman dan Anti Kekerasan dalam NovelSabda-Sabda Cinta Karya Najib Kailany”.Permasalahan dalam Penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai keislaman dananti kekerasan dalam novel Sabda-Sabda Cinta karya Najib Kailany? Tujuan yanghendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendePenskripsikan nilaikeislaman dan Anti Kekerasan dalam novel Sabda-Sabda Cinta karya NajibKailany.Penulisan Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif,kepustakaan dan analisis dengan pendekatan religi.Penelitian ini disampaikan secara keseluruhan bahwa nilai keislaman dananti kekerasan yang terdapat dalam novel Sabda-Sabda Cinta karya Najib Kailanyadalah sebagai berikut. Unsur Intrinsik yang terdapat dalam novel Sabda-SabdaCinta meliputi tokoh, penokohan, dan latar. Nilai Keislaman yang terdapat dalamnovel Sabda-Sabda Cinta berdasarkan teori Religiusitas yaitu mengatur hubunganmanusia dengan Tuhan, hubungan manusia dengan sesama manusia, danhubungan manusia dengan lingkungan. Adapun Nilai Keislaman dalam novel iniantara lain (1) Nilai Keimanan atau Aqidah, berarti kepercayaan atau keyakinan;(2) Nilai Keibadahan atau Syariah berarti jalan yang harus ditempuh seorangmuslim.; (3) Nilai Kesusilaan atau Akhlak dan Anti Kekerasan berarti kekuatanjiwa yang mendorong perbuatan tanpa adanya kekerasan. Dalam novel ini yangmempunyai nilai keimanan, nilai keibadahan dan nilai kesusilaan dimiliki olehtokoh Iryan, Syaikh Iedoul Housaini, dan Maishun.Bagi calon guru Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia hendaknya sering mengikutiperkembangan sastra, sehingga dapat memperluas wawasan dalam bidang Bahasadan Sastra Indonesia.Kata Kunci: nilai keislaman, anti kekerasan

Abstract

Pembahasan prefiks meng- yang dilakukan oleh Alisjahbana (1948), Mess (1957),Wojowasito ( 1978), Ramlan (1981), Kridalaksana (1987, 1990) mempersoalkan pembentukan kata,karakteristik, dan kategori kata. Pembahasan yang dilakukan baru menyangkut konsep dan kriteriapenggolongan kata. Pembahasan kata berprefiks meng- sebagai unsur pusat di dalam relasiparadigmatik belum maksimal.Dengan demikian, masalah yang menyangkut fungsi dan peran kataberprefiks meng- dalam bahasa Indonesia penting untuk diteliti. Dengan penelitian tentang fungsidan peran kata berprefiks meng- diharapkan menjadi lebih mendalam.Pendekatan yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif. Untuk membuktikan adanya prefiks mengpembentukverba yang berfungsi dan berperan dalam penataan kalimat, digunakan juga pendekatanword and paradigm (WP) dengan memanfaatkan teori struktural.Data penelitian ini mencakupi datatulisan dan data lisan yang berasal dari pemakaian bahasa Indonesia pada kurun waktu 2000 sampai dengan 2011. Data tulis dikumpulkan dengan teknik dasar penyadapan dan teknik lanjutanpencatatan, sedang data lisan dijaring melalui teknik konfirmasi dan teknik wawancara. Dalampenelitian ini akan dilakukan kajian pada setiap bentuk berprefiks meng- pembentuk verba akandikaitkan fungsi, makna gramatikal, dan perannya. Dengan cara kerja ini akan diketahui adanyakata berprefiks meng- yang memiliki fungsi, makna, dan peran yang berbeda-beda.Ketransitifanprefiks meng- + (-kan) bermakna: a) melakukan aktivitas kegiatan yang dinyatakan oleh kata dasar,berfungsi P, berperan perbuatan aktif, serta berobjek, b)) ketransitifan prefiks meng- + -kanbermakna melakukan aktivitas kegiatan yang dinyatakan oleh kata dasar (benefaktif)), berfungsi P,berperan perbuatan aktif, serta berobjek (dan berpelengkap); 2) ketaktransitifan prefiks mengbermakna:a) menjadi, b) menyerupai, c) makan/minum, d)) menuju, e) mencari/mengumpulkan,dan berfungsi P, dan berperan keadaan, serta nomor 2.a) sampai dengan 2.i)) tidak memiliki sasaran(objek).Kata Kunci: Prefiks meng-, Fungsi, Peran

Abstract

Gaya bahasa hiperbola dan asidenton Panatacara pesisir terletak pada penyimpanganpenyimpangankonotatif bahasa panatacara yang hadir melalui tuturan dalam peristiwapawiwahan. Gaya bahasa tersebut untuk menciptakan kekhasan bahasa pesisir. Hiperbola danasidenton menjadi salah satu ciri pembeda gaya bahasa di pesisiran dengan gaya bahasaSurakarta dan Yogyakarta. Selain itu, gaya bahasa hiperbola dan asidenton panatacara dalamprosesi pawiwahan adat budaya Jawa pesisiran untuk membangun makna. Abstract

It--the research--was the result of cultural hegemony theory on theanalysis process by Antonio Gramsci on an novel “Tarian Bumi” written byOka Rusmini. The objective of the research was form of hegemonicleadership brahmin caste to sudra caste on the novel entitled “TarianBumi”. This research was arranged to find those important elementshegemonic which were supported hegemony cultural theory, such as: kindsof consensus, government job descriptions, coopted civil society, organicintellectual, traditional intellectual, and the process of hegemony crisis itself.The research method of this thesis was descriptive and analysis method.It was used to describe the facts occurred on literature work, in this case wassocial facts in the novel entitled “ Tarian Bumi” used to decide social levelswithin the texts. Those facts were used as textual proof which showed theposition of important elements on the hegemony cultural theories.It could be concluded that hegemonic leadership brahmin caste tosudra caste can be found on the novel entitled “Tarian Bumi” by OkaRusmini. The first proof was the consensus used to control classes clash onBalinese social life. The next was the hegemonic class which controlledthose consensuses through mythes. The third was civil which were“terkooptasi” through Sekehe dance. The forth was organic intellectual andtraditional intellectual which were delegated. The last was the hegemonycrisis occurred on the pasive revolution on “Patiwangi” sacred ritual doneby an actor on the novel.Key words: hegemonic, tarian bumi, classes clash, antonio gramsci.
