Abstract

Teacher is figure and role model to her/his students and environment. That is why a teacher must have certain qualification standards, such as resposibility, authority, independent, and discipline. Teacher of Fiqih subject in MIN Mukti Karya, Panca Jaya, Mesuji had given his best in educating his students. In this case, the teacher had tried to conduct teaching-learning process and motivate his students well. Unfortunately, the result was not optimal yet. Based on those facst, this reasearch was conducted to find out why the teacher’s efforts have not been successful to improve learning achievement in  MIN Mukti Karya, Panca Jaya, Mesuji. The writer used observation, interview, and documentation to gain the data. Observation was used to know the real teaching-learning process, interview was used to gain the data of the obstacles faced by the teacher, and documentation was used to know the teacher’s preparations. Data sources of this research were head master, teacher, and students. Finally to analize the data, the writer used data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on result of data analisys, the writer concluded that factors which caused teacher’s efforts had not managed to improve students’ achievement were: (1) inadequate learning resources; (2) lack of props and media, (3) lack of supervision, control, and good exemplary done by parents.

Abstract

Tujuan implementasi pedagogik humanistik dalam pembelajaran moral dan budi bekerti di Sekolah Dasar sebagai penangkal fenomena LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Biseksual, dan Transgender) adalah: a) mendeskripsikan pandangan masyarakat terhadap Isu LGBT; b) mendeskripsikan peran dunia pendidikan sebagai penangkal isu LGBT, dan c) mendeskripsikan konsep pedagogik humanistik sebagai upaya menangkal fenomena LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Biseksual, dan Transgender). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi untuk mendeskripsikan temuan dan pengkajian yang komprehensif melalui studi pustaka dan observasi terhadap fenomena yang ada. Berdasarkan kajian yang telah dibahas pada subbab sebelumnya, berikut simpulan dari penelitian ini. 1) Pandangan masyarakat terhadap Isu LGBT mempunyai dua versi yang berbeda, yaitu pro dan kontra. Bagi pihak yang pro beranggapan bahwa menolak tidak harus membenci dan tidak sepakat pada pilihan orientasi seksual seseorang tidak harus menyakiti. Selain dukungan, terdapat pula hujatan dan cemoohan yang kebanyakan dari itu adalah yang menentang fenomena LGBT dari berbagai pihak. 2) Dunia pendidikan harus menanamkan nilai moral dan akidah yang baik sebagai tameng sekaligus benteng yang kokoh bagi gerusan isu LGBT. Sebagai seorang pendidik, guru idealnya tidak sekadar mentransfer ilmu, namun harus memberikan teladan yang baik sebagai pribadi unggul, berilmu tinggi, dan berakhlak mulia. 3) Konsep pedagogik humanistik dalam pembelajaran moral dan budi bekerti di Sekolah Dasar sebagai penangkal fenomena LGBT adalah: a) mengimplementasikan konsep pedagogik humanistik yang meliputi pengertian, ruang lingkup, prinsip-prinsip, dan contoh penerapan pedagogik secara komprehensif di sekolah dan masyarakat, b) mengupayakan peserta didik melakukan kegiatan bermakna yang akan membentuk diri menjadi pribadi terampil dan sikap-sikap terpuji, c) menggalang kemitraan antara sekolah, guru, orang tua, masyarakat dan stakeholder pendidikan demi terwujudnya pendidikan nasional yang unggul dan bermartabat, dan d) melaksanakan bimbingan, konseling, dan pendampingan sebagai jaminan kemanusiaan, moral, dan sosial bagi subjek atas kasus LGBT yang terindikasi.

Abstract

In the era contemporary development of the science is evolving very fast. Each of the discipline of the science developed scientific and create a various of inventions. This should be accepted. facing and offset by the increase in scientific knowledge are adequate so that Muslims do not failed experience by an increasingly forward without forget about eliminating Islamic identity. Muslims need to combine intellectual mindset. deductive-inductive and daring use of academic-philosophical mindset to unlock insight within a Muslim that Islam was a religion that invites people to reach for the happiness afterlife of the world. materially-spiritual and body-spiritual. because intrinsically. human was created to live in the world. Insightful thinking as it forms the scientific tradition of the Muslim integrality - interconnectivity. Pluralities and relativities of Islamic should be realized within the Muslim Ummah. This is will bring the implications against the diversity of Muslims in the future. toward on openness and dialogist. Thus. Muslims can answer the challenge of the times. and give the solving toward a various problems. not only faced by the Muslims themselves. but also in general humanity

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the influence of multisensory method to increase children prior ability in reading skill. It was done by using quasi experiment with pre-test post-test control group design. The result has shown that there was a significant infuence of using multisensory method to increase children’ prior ability in reading skill. Therefore, it is better for teacher of early education to teach reading by giving reading stimuation which pays attention to the children development factors  and arranges in comfortable ways.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini berkaitan lemahnya kemampuan (kompetensi) menulis cerita siswa, dikarenakan minat baca rendah dan strategi pembelajaran masih bersifat konvensional. Strategi pembelajaran PAIKEM (Pembelajaran Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan), substansi aplikasinya menempatkan siswa sebagai subjek utama belajar. Melalui penelitian secara mendalam mengenai variabel strategi PAIKEM dan minat baca siswa, maka ingin dibuktikan efektifitas strategi PAIKEM dibandingkan dengan strategi konvensional pada siswa yang memiliki minat baca tinggi siswa dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki minat baca rendah terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita di Kelas V SDN 2 Perumnas Way Halim Kec. Kedaton Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif  dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Rancangan/desain eksperimen menggunakan faktorial 2 x 2. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SD SDN 2 Perumnas Way Halim dan pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Varibel terikat adalah kemampuan menulis cerita dan variabel bebasnya, meliputi: strategi pembelajaran (A) dan minat baca (B). Strategi pembelajaran dibedakan antara strategi PAIKEM (A1) dan strategi konvensional (A2), sedangkan minat baca dibedakan antara  minat baca tinggi (B1) dan minat baca rendah (B2). Teknik pengumpulan data, menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Uji persyaratan analisis diterapkan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan teknik ANAVA (Analysis of Variance) dua jalur dengan menggunakan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 (5%). Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: (1) Terdapat pengaruh kemampuan menulis cerita antara siswa yang diajar dengan strategi PAIKEM dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar dengan strategi konvensional, (2) Terdapat pengaruh kemampuan menulis cerita antara siswa yang memiliki minat baca yang tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki minat baca yang rendah di Kelas V. (3) Terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara strategi PAIKEM dan minat baca terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita di Kelas V.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan hubungan peta konsep terhadap pemahaman pembelajaran konsep dasar IPA untuk mengungkap bagaimana kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru SD dalam memahami konsep dasar IPA. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa calon guru SD. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dikumpulkan menggunakan hasil tugas peta konsep dalam materi sistem gerak untuk mengetahui hubungan pemahaman materi konsep dasar IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan peta konsep terhadap pemahaman pembelajaran konsep dasar IPA berada pada kriteria masih baik dilaksanakan sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Kemampuan pemahaman konsep dasar IPA yang ditinjau dari tugas mahasiswa calon guru SD dengan menggunakan aplikasi peta konsep berbentuk map tools menunjukkan adanya gambaran dengan rata-rata nilai persentase sebesar 71,23% (kategori baik) telah memenuhi pencapaian dalam implementasi pendekatan saintifik. Mahasiswa calon guru SD menanggapai positif terhadap implementasi hubungan peta konsep terhadap pemahaman pembelajaran konsep dasar IPA.

Abstract

The aims of this study were describing the process of mathematics learning and its problem solving for primary III students whom school was applying PMRI approach and non applying PMRI approach (Realistic Mathematics Education in Indonesia). This research was a qualitative case study type. The subject of this study divided into 2, which were: subject for searching information about learning process and subject for searching information about problem solving. Subject in this study were 2 primary teachers, 1 teacher from SD “A” Demangan Baru and 1 teacher from SD “B” Demangan, another subject were  4 students, 2 students from SD “A” Demangan Baru and 2 students from SD “B” Demangan. The data was divided into 2, which were learning process data that contain about teacher and student activities in learning and mathematical problem solving data that contain about information problem solving in mathematics. Learning process data was collected from recording transcription result of learning activities toward two observations, while mathematical problem solving data was collected by using the think aloud method. The results revealed that the teaching and learning process at the school which apply PMRI approach began with providing contextual problems. The student do mathematical mathematization even though with simple language and symbols. Students construct their own knowledge and teacher was as the facilitator. However, the process of interweaving one material to another was still not observed yet. In the process of teaching and learning at non-PMRI school, teacher began the teaching and learning process by explaining homework. There was no activity of solving problems in group. Students solved a problem by using the way that their teacher teaches them and the skill was developed based on the example and exercises. The problem solving skill of students who have high ability at school which applied PMRI approach was better than that of students who have high ability at school which did not apply PMRI approach. However, the problem solving skill of students who have low ability at school which applied PMRI approach is not better than that of students who have low ability at school which did not apply PMRI approach

Abstract

Whole language approach is one approach to language learning. Whole language approach is based on the concept konsrtuktivisme, language experience approcah (LEA) in education. In this approach determines the language as learning materials, learning content and learning process. In applying the whole languageguru know and understand the components of the whole languageagar pembelajarn be done optimally. Components in the whole language there are 8 alound reading, journal writing, sustained silent reading, shared reading, guided reading, guided writing, independent reading, and independent writing.

Abstract

Dalam membelajarkan anak didik di Sekolah Dasar, guru harus memiliki keyakinan mampu membudayakan iklim semangat belajar pada siswanya. Semangat dalam pengertian yang berkembang di masyarakat seringkali disamakan dengan motivasi. Motivasi dapat diartikan sebagai kekuatan (energi) seseorang yang dapat menimbulkan tingkat persistensi dan antusiasmenya dalam melaksanakan suatu kegiatan, baik yang bersumber dari dalam diri individu itu sendiri (motivasi intrinsik) maupun dari luar individu (motivasi ekstrinsik). Penciptaan budaya yang mampu memberikan semangat belajar bagi siswa akan semakin memperkukuh karakter dan sifat “haus” siswa terhadap ilmu pengetahuan, yang mana muaranya bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan siswa SD menjadi seorang ilmuwan (cendikiawan) yang berwawasan luas dan berakhlaqul karimah sebagaimana amanah UU dan Pancasila
