Abstract

Abstract Character education is a crucial aspect in forming a young generation that is strong and has integrity. This research aims to explore character training through school programs at SMA Islam Nurul Fikri Boarding School Lembang. The selection of this school as a research object was based on the success of its superior programs, which allegedly had a significant role in shaping student character. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document study. Data analysis was done using data reduction, display, verification, and conclusion. The results of the research show that the superior programs at SMA Islam Nurul Fikri Boarding School Lembang include Al-Quran tahfidz, science competitions, OSIS activities, extracurriculars, the Adiwiyata School program, child-friendly, Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB), Cambridge Curriculum, and activities -habituation and acculturation activities effectively shape students' character with religious values, leadership and responsibility. The supporting factors for its success are integrating the program with the school's vision, mission, and motto, a collaboration between foundation management, leaders, and teachers, adequate infrastructure, and active support from parents. Keywords: Character Development, Young Generation, School Programs Abstrak Pendidikan karakter menjadi aspek krusial dalam membentuk generasi muda yang tangguh dan berintegritas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pembinaan karakter melalui program-program sekolah di SMA Islam Nurul Fikri Boarding School Lembang. Pemilihan sekolah ini sebagai objek penelitian didasarkan pada keberhasilan program-program unggulannya yang disinyalir memiliki peran signifikan dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, display data, verifikasi data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program-program unggulan di SMA Islam Nurul Fikri Boarding School Lembang seperti tahfidz Al-Quran, kompetisi sains, kegiatan OSIS, ekstrakurikuler, program Sekolah Adiwiyata, ramah anak, Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB), Kurikulum Camridge, serta kegiatan-kegiatan pembiasaan dan pembudayaan efektif membentuk karakter siswa dengan nilai-nilai religius, kepemimpinan, dan tanggung jawab. Faktor pendukung kesuksesannya adalah keterpaduan program dengan visi, misi dan moto sekolah, kolaborasi antara pengelola yayasan, para pimpinan dan guru-guru, sarana prasarana yang memadai, serta dukungan aktif orangtua.
