Abstract

Nowadays, 60% adolescents in Indonesia admitted that had practiced premarital sexbehavior and 50% of people living with HIV and AIDS are adolescent age group. Thenegative consequences of sex behavior which causes an Indonesian adolescent disruptedopportunities continue study at school, enter the work force, starting become a familyand become a member of society as well. Premarital intercourse makes unintendedpregnancy rates still high. Based on data obtained from the Pekanbaru City HIV-AIDSManagement Commission (KPA) in April 2017, it was found that HIV-AIDS caseshave always increased from year to year. The purpose of this study was to determinethe correlation between predisposing, enabling, and reinforcing factors with premaritalsex behavior in adolescents. The design was cross sectional study. This study was conductedAugust 2017 with multistage random cluster sampling and with 481 adolescentrespondents in 18 SMA in Yogyakarta City, which were analyzed using Chi Square test.There were a relationship of knowledge (p = 0.000, RP = 3.893), attitude (p = 0.000, RP= 7.240), self-esteem (p = 0.000, RP = 3.502), source of information (p = 0.003) and peerroles (p = 0.000, RP = 11.660) with premarital sex behavior. Meanwhile, there were norelation of family role (p = 0.436, RP = 0.823) and teacher role (p = 0.053 RP = 1.596)with premarital sex behavior. Knowledge, attitudes, self-esteem, information source andthe role of peers are related to premarital sex behavior. The role of the family and the roleof the teacher are not related to premarital sex in adolescents.

Abstract

Violence can adversely affect teenagers. Teenagers rarely report violence to their friends or family. Teens who are experienced with violent outbreaks have symptoms such as depression and anxiety, deviant behaviours such as smoking, drugs and alcohol and even attempted suicide. This Study used a cross-sectional design. The sample of the study were student aged 15-19 years who came from 18 Junior High School in Yogyakarta City. The study was conducted during August 2017. Sample size is 481 adolescents. Technique sampling used multistage random cluster sampling. The instrument used questionnaires on violence, knowledge, attitudes, self-confidence, family roles, peer roles, teacher roles and information sources. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis used chi square test. Results showed that 77.5% of adolescents were violent and 68.4% were physically abused. Peers are a risk factor for adolescents to engage in violence (PR: 1.335; CI 95%:1.205-1.479) and families also play an important role for adolescents engaged in violence (PR: 1.179; CI 95%: 1.079-1.292). The existence of teen counseling services such as Youth Information and Counseling Center to increase adolescent insight about juvenile delinquency especially violence and impact on adolescents.

Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang:Kekerasan dalam berpacaran tergolong dalam suatu bentuk perilaku menyimpang remaja yang kasusnya biasa terjadi di lingkungan sekitar namun terkadang tidak disadari baik itu oleh korban atau bahkan oleh pelakunya sendiri. Kekerasan dalam pacaran dapat membawa dampak negatif pada korbannya.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian cross sectional dengan analisis chi square. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 147 orang yang diperoleh dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner untuk mengukur pola asuh orang tua dan konflik dalam keluarga.Hasil:Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaada hubungan pola asuh orang tua (p = 0,014; RP = 0,691) dengan kejadian kekerasan dalam pacaran. Dan tidak ada hubungan antara konflik dalam keluarga (p = 0,102; RP = 1,789) dengan kejadian kekerasan dalam pacaran.Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kejadian kekerasan dalam pacaran.Tidak ada hubungan antara konflik dalam keluarga dengan kejadian kekerasan dalam pacaran.  ABSTRACTBackground: Violence in dating is classified as a form of deviant adolescents associated with the case is common in the surrounding environment but is not well realized by the victims or even by the perpetrators themselves. Violence in dating can have a negative impact on the victim.Method: This study used a cross sectional study design with chi square analysis. The research sample was obtained by 147 people obtained by proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire to measure parenting and family conflict.Results: The results of the study showed the relationship between parenting (p = 0.014; RP = 0.691) with violence in dating. And there is no relationship between conflict in the family (p = 0.102; RP = 1.789) with the incidence of violence in dating.Conclusion: There was a relationship between parenting parents with the incidence of violence in dating. There was no relationship between conflict in the family with violence in dating.
