Abstract

Abstrak: Akuntabilitas sebagai Sebuah Solusi Pengelolaan Wakaf. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis prioritas masalah dan solusi pengelolaan waqaf dengan menggunakan metode AHP. Hasil analisis menunjukkan prioritas masalah pengelolaan wakaf terletak pada rendahnya profesionalitas dan kompetensi nazhir dalam mengelola wakaf, sehingga pengelolaan wakaf tidak optimal. Masalah nazhir yang kurang akuntabel membuat wakif menyerahkan harta wakaf langsung kepada personal bukan melalui lembaga pengelola wakaf. Solusi dari masalah pengelolaan wakaf adalah meningkatkan insentif nazhir dan pelatihan intensif bagi nazhir. Solusi yang ditawarkan tersebut menunjukkan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan akuntabilitas pengelolaan wakaf, sehingga terbentuk profesionalitas pengelolaan wakaf yang dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat     Abstract: Accountability as A Waqf Management Solution. This article aims to analyze the priority issue and solution about waqf management using AHP. The analysis showed that the priority issue of waqf management lies on the low professionalism and competence of nazhir, so the waqf management is not optimal. Since nazhir is not accountable, wakif submits waqf property personally instead of going through waqf management institutions. The solution of the problem of waqf managing are increasing incentives and intensive training for Nazhir. The solution offered by this study relates to increased accountability in the waqf management. By forming professionalism in waqf management, public trust can be improved.

Abstract

Several studies show no difference in practice and academics in general between Islamic banks and conventional banks. However, they are both very different. This research analysed the perceptions of santri/students of Islamic boarding schools regarding no differences between Islamic banks and conventional banks. This research was quantitative with an in-depth descriptive analysis. The research sample used a blend of purposive and judgment techniques applied to santri from several large Islamic boarding schools in Banyuwangi. The analytical method used a two-way causative relationship using multiple regression. The research used a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale and in-depth interviews with santri. Santri's view of Islamic banks differed from that of regular banks. Santri strongly believes in Islamic banking, while the majority is not traditional but represents Islamic ideals. Islamic bank workers, nevertheless, have shown Islam's greater identity than standard banks and imply that no disparities in Islamic banks are shown to be stigmatic.

Abstract

The purposeof this article is to determine the absorption level of Islamic economics programmegraduates into the Islamic financial industry, in Jakarta and West Java. Thisresearch used exploratory studies method and Alignment Index (AI). The overallresearch results, of 2011 until 2014 graduates showed a low level of absorptioninto Islamic finance industry. Research result showed absorption level in Universityof Muhammadiyah Prof. HAMKA is by 20%, Islamic University 45 bekasiabsoption level continues to increase from year to year, and Juanda UniversityBogor absoption level is below 40%. Abstract

The Priority Problems and Solutions of Zakah Management in Banten and South Borneo Using AHP. The aim of this study is to map the priority problems and solutions in the management of zakat by using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). Results of a study reveals that there are three kinds of priority issues and solutions zakat management divided by stakeholder agencies (stakeholders) zakat, i.e regulators, zakat organization (OPZ), muzaki and mustahik . Abstract

The rural sector is a sector that must be a major concern. This sector has the opportunity to develop and have a positive impact on the village economy if it is optimized. One of the spearheads of the village in advancing its economy is Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). The existence of BUMDes is expected to be one of the incentives for rural economic growth. The role of the Sharia economy in advancing the rural sector has provided many examples of success. One of the most phenomenal is the grameen bank in Bangladesh. The purpose of this service activity is to revive the rural sector, especially human resources in BUMDEs. The method used is by conducting training and guidance. It is hoped that the guidance training method can strengthen the understanding of BUMDes human resources on the principles of Islamic economics. The application of Islamic economic principles in the implementation of BUMDes is expected to foster positive values which will provide blessings in the BUMDes business. Sektor pedesaan merupakan sektor yang harus menjadi perhatian utama. sektor ini memiliki peluang untuk dapat berkembang dan memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian desa apabila mampu dioptimalkan. Salah satu ujung tombak desa dalam memajukan perekonomiannya adalah Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes). Adanya BUMDes diharapkan menjadi salah satu rangsangan untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi desa. Peran ekonomi Syariah dalam memajukan sektor pedesaan sudah memberikan banyak contoh keberasilan. Salah satunya yang paling fenomenal adalah Grameen bank yang ada di Bangladesh. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membangkitkan sektor pedesaan khususnya sumber daya insani di BUMDEs. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan dan bimbingan. Diharapkan dengan metode pelatihan bimbingan dapat memperkuat pemahaman sumber daya insani BUMDes akan prinsip ekonomi Syariah. Penerapan prinsip ekonomi Syariah dalam pelaksanaan BUMDes diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan nilai nilai positif yan akan memberikan keberkahan dalam usaha BUMDes.

Abstract

Al Husna Bukit Indah Mosque, Serua Village, since 2007, has 680 members. The business run is savings and loan and the sale of goods and services. To manage finances, activities are still done manually. The manager is retirees whose knowledge of the management of Sharia-based Multipurpose Cooperatives tends to be lacking. This community service activity intends to develop financial applications and manage management. The methods used are: 1) Identifying financial data that needs to be included in financial applications; 2) Developing financial applications; and 3) Training and assisting Al Husna Mosque administrators to use financial applications, and conducting counseling about business entities that comply with sharia principles. In this way, it is hoped that the Al Husna mosque will be able to manage its business and finances better and be able to provide better services to its members. KSU-BMT Masjid Al Husna Bukit Indah, Kelurahan Serua, yang berfungsi untuk menyalurkan dana sosial dan juga sebagai koperasi sejak 2007, memiliki anggota sebanyak 680 orang. Usaha yang dijalankan berbentuk simpan pinjam dan penjualan barang dan jasa. Untuk mengelola keuangan kegiatan masih dilakukan dengan cara manual. Akibat dari aplikasi system keuangan yang pernah dimiliki rusak. Pengelola pun para pensiunan yang pengetahuan mereka tentang pengelolaan Koperasi Serba Usaha berbasis Syariah cenderung terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bermaksud melakukan pengembangan aplikasi keuangan dan penataan manajemen di Masjid ini. Metode yang dilakukan adalah: 1) Mengidentifikasi data keuangan yang perlu dimasukkan dalam aplikasi keuangan; 2) Mengembangkan aplikasi keuangan; dan 3) Melatih serta mendampingi pengurus Masjid Al Husna menggunakan aplikasi keuangan, dan melakukan penyuluhan tentang badan usaha yang memenuhi prinsip-prinsip syariah. Dengan cara demikian diharapkan nantinya masjid Al Husna mampu mengelola usaha dan keuangan secara lebih sistematis. Akhirnya akan memberi pelayanan lebih baik kepada seluruh anggota.

Abstract

The needs of human resource for the Islamic finance industry continues to increase along with the growth of the Islamic finance industry. The appearances of Department Economics and Islamic Finance have sprung due to meet the needs of the human resources, but a lot of graduates of the Department Economics and Islamic Finance did not accepted in the Islamic finance industries. This study was conducted to determine the absorption of graduates of the Department Economics and Islamic Finance, and the perception of the management of the Department Economics and Islamic Finance, and perception of Islamic finance practitioners of human resources with the approach of Alignment Index (AI) and exploratory. Human resources in the Islamic financial industry to apply the philosophy of ihsân at work. Philosophy of ihsan make human resources in Islamic finance industry becomes a subject not an object in the company’s operations so that a positive impact on the work environment that can increase the performance of the company or the Islamic finance industry. The results showed absorption graduates of the Department Economics and Islamic finance to Islamic finance industry in Sumatra below 40%. There is a difference in perception between the Islamic financial industry practitioners with management of the Department Economics and Islamic Finance about human resource. Practitioners of Islamic finance industry has a perception that human resource of Islamic financial institutions must have high competence, good soft skills and hard skills. The Department of Economics and Islamic Finance have the perception regarding human resources focus to understand the hard skills.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prioritas masalah dalam pengelolaan wakaf dan prioritas solusi yang dapat diberikan atas prioritas masalah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Badan Wakaf Indonesia (BWI), nazhir, dan wakif yang ada di provinsi wilayah Indonesia Timur yaitu Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, Sulawesi Selatan, dan Maluku. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan Pengelolaan wakaf dilihat dari 3 aspek, yaitu regulator, nazhir (pengelola wakaf) dan wakif (pewakaf). Hasil analisis menunjukkan prioritas masalah wakaf di Indonesia Timur terdapat pada aspek nazhir, yaitu terkait rendahnya kompetensi nazhir dalam pengelolaan wakaf. Pelatihan intensif bagi nazhir dan sertifikasi nazhir di Indonesia Timur merupakan prioritas solusi bagi nazhir. Prioritas masalah kedua ada pada regulator, yaitu minimnya biaya APBN untuk sertifikasi wakaf, dengan prioritas solusinya adalah penambahan alokasi APBN. Prioritas masalah wakaf ketiga ada pada aspek wakif yaitu rendahnya pemahaman wakif, maka prioritas solusi menurut model AHP Indonesia timur adalah sosialisasi wakaf melalui media. Masalah dan solusi pengelolaan wakaf yang ditemukan berkaitan dengan pengelolaan wakaf baik oleh pihak nazhir selaku pengelola maupun regulator.

Abstract

This research attempts to examine the role of zakat in reducing income inequality and poverty, by taking a case study in Bogor. Two zakat institutions, Baytul Maal Bogor and Baytul Ikhtiar have been selected. A number of well-known inequality and poverty measures have utilized including Lorenz Curve, Gini coefficient, Atkinson index, headcount ratio, poverty gap index, income gap index, sen index and FGT index. After analyzing 200 household as the respondent, this study found zakat has increased monthly income of the household 11,48%. In general, the presence of zakat helps lower the income inequality an average of 0,3% points. The findings suggest that the presence of zakat has make better the income loss of the respondent  an average of 25,7% points. The existence of zakat is able to decrease the poverty incidence an average of 44% points. The gap of poverty can be reduced as the poverty gap show can be reductions of 27%. The depth of poverty can be reduced as the income gap show the reductions 18,8% points. Similarly, the severty of poverty can also be lower as evidenced from 18% points increase in the Sen index and 10% points increase in the FGT index.
