Abstract

This research is a classroom action research carried out during two cycles, which aims to increase the students' mathematics learning class X4 through programming Microsoft Power Point into computer media and projector LCD on the subject of three dimensions in SMA 8 Makassar. The subjects were students of class 8 Makassar X4 SMU taught by the author as many as 36 students. Data collection through achievement test after completion of material taught at the end of each cycle. The data analysis technique is qualitative and quantitative, quantitative analysis using descriptive statistical results of this study indicate that: (1) An increase in the results of students' mathematics learning of the first cycle keSiklus II after improvement slide on programming Microsoft Power Point (MPP) into computer media and LCD projector. (2) the first cycle students 'average score of 57.80 with a standard deviation of 10.14 at the ideal score of 100. (3) Cycle II students' average score of 78.33 with a standard deviation of 9.85 to the ideal score of 100. (4) the presence, liveliness and sincerity students attend learning activities also showed an increase visible from the observation during the learning takes place. Based on these results it can be concluded. Whereas, the application of the use of computer media and LCD projectors with learning programs that are made of a presentation application program that Microsoft Power Point (MPP) students may be interested and motivated to participate in learning activities that increase math learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the head numbered learning structure model on the material relations and integrated functions of Islamic values on the ability of students to understand mathematical concepts. This research was conducted at the Mega Link Majene Vocational School in class X with a total of 20 students. The research design used is the One Group Pretest Posttest design. The instrument of this research is the concept understanding ability test, observation sheet of student activity and observation sheet of the researcher in the learning process. The results showed that the average pretest score was 50,65 and the average post-test was 82,45 while the normalized N-gain calculation obtained an average increase in student learning outcomes was 0,60 (medium category) and the results of the t-test analysis were obtained. 4,21 with a significance value of 0,000 <α. So it can be concluded that the application of the head learning model with integrated structure with Islamic values can affect the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Kodama props in the process of doing Mathematics exercises material The equation of straight line conducted in SMPN 5 Wonomulyo VIII classroom learners by looking at the learning outcomes, activities and responses of learners. This type of research is a quasi experimental research involving 2 different groups but has a homogeneous ability. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 5 Wonomulyo which amounted to 177 people. The sample of this research is the students of class VIII C as the experimental class and class VIII D as the control class. Data collection is done through tests, observation sheets and response questionnaires. The data of the research were analyzed by descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The result of the research based on descriptive analysis in the experimental class obtained an average value of 79,86 > KKM or 80% classical completeness, reaching 82,76%. Based on the inferential analysis, the ost test value is obtained with the degree of freedom 58 hence obtained at 1,67. Because it is larger than it is rejected and accepted, it means at a 95% confidence level statement that the average value of the experimental class is higher than the average value of the control class is acceptable. It can be seen that the value of post test experimental class completeness is 82,759 % or 24 students from 29 students over KKM. Based on the analysis of the instrument nontes obtained activity learners experimental group meets the criteria of effectiveness of reaching 57,59% and the response of learners are in the positive category with an average value of 78,28%. It can be concluded that Kodama props can improve learning outcomes of students of class VIII SMPN 5 Wonomulyo and able to make learners spirit in doing Mathematics.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the question of the mid term exam in geometry course. Focusing on the level of difficulty, validity, and reability. This research is evalution qualitative research conducting in mathematic education departement. The quantitative data that was taken from th answer sheet of students was analyzed by using descriptive statistic. The results revealed that: (1) the level difficulty of questions number 2, 3 is very hard and 5 is hard, number 1 is average, and number 4 is low , (2) the validity of all question ( number 1 through 5 ) is valid with different level of validity, (3) the reability of questions is in average, in terms of difficulty level, most questions are difficult, it is affected the reability of the items examination that is in average level.

Abstract

Covid pandemic 19 conditions that require the learning process between teachers and students to be done from home. This study aims to see whether there is an influence of high-level thinking ability in mathematics through online learning media amid the co-19 pandemic. High-level thinking ability tests or HOTS questions which are the instruments of this research, contain the process of analyzing, evaluating and creating. The results of the research analysis showed (1) the average value of 50.5% pretest while 75.5% posttest (2) one sample t-test analysis test obtained significance of 0.00 <α, and (3) the fulfillment of student activity was in the criterion minimum active is above 75%. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of online learning media affect the ability to think of high-level students of SMK Mega Link Majene in the midst of a covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Covid-19 is affecting the world of education. Teachers are intended to change the paradigm of teaching methods, teachers face digital habits. The application of learning applications is an option in instilling mathematical concepts. The application of learning mathematics is one of the media that can be used by teachers in growing students' metacognitive abilities in understanding and solving mathematical problems. This type of research is a design research using the Plomp model with five stages, including: (1) initial assessment stage (2) design stage, (3) realization/construction stage, (4) test, evaluation and revision stage, and (5) stage implementation. This study aims to design three-dimensional learning assisted by the GeoEnzo application to foster students' metacognitive abilities in understanding and solving mathematical problems, especially three-dimensional material. The subjects of this study were students of class XII SMK Mega Link Majene which opened 40 people. This research resulted in: (1) the development of mathematical learning tools, especially on three-dimensional material that was valid, practical, and effective; (2) student activity observation sheets and teacher implementation; (3) student response questionnaires; and (4) learning outcomes test. The results of the research on the development of the GeoEnzo-assisted mathematics learning design are valid, practical, and effective for improving the metacognitive abilities of the students of SMK Mega Link Majene.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the kinemaster application on students' interest in learning and learning mathematics outcomes. The research sample was students of class VIIA as the experimental class and class VIIB as the control class. The instrument used in this research is a test of mathematics learning outcomes, especially in comparison materials, activity sheets, learning implementation sheets, response questionnaires, and interest in learning mathematics questionnaires. The data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential statistics. From the results of descriptive statistical analysis, the average value of the pre-test in the experimental class was 43.58 and the pre-test result for the control class was 41.17. Meanwhile, the average post-test score in the experimental class was 80.00 and the post-test result for the control class was 73.73. Inferential statistical analysis obtained tcount of 2.67. While ttable is 1.69, which means that tcount > ttable which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Activity analysis shows that the activities of students are in the active criteria. The implementation analysis obtained that all were carried out and were in very good criteria. The response questionnaire analysis showed that almost all of the students responded positively. Questionnaire analysis of interest in learning mathematics in the experimental class was 85.2% and in the control class was 70.7%. From the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the use of the kinemaster application was effective on learning interest and mathematics learning outcomes for seventh grade students at Mts Pergis Campalagian.

Abstract

This type of research is Research and Development (RnD). The development model refers to the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. The development of the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) was implemented for class X students at SMK Mega Link Majene, this is in accordance with the implementation of the independent curriculum. The Pancasila student profile is an Indonesian student who is a lifelong learner who is competent, has character and behaves in accordance with Pancasila values. This research developed a project design from an assessment rubric, student reflection sheet, and teacher reflection sheet. Theme selection and project development selected 3 themes out of 8, including sustainable lifestyle, local wisdom, diversity, building body and soul, the voice of democracy, creating and using technology to build the Republic of Indonesia, work and work culture. The results of the research obtained that P5 Development can develop students' character, including having faith and devotion to God Almighty and having noble character, global diversity, working together, creative, critical reasoning and independence, especially on the theme: Build your body and soul by using Photoshop and Lifestyle applications. continuously using Canon 800D, Cam A11, Original Mirrolles Gimbal, Adobe Premiere, and the Bandicam application.
