Abstract

Ketidakmampuan belajar adalah masalah yang mengakibatkan siswa tidak dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan baik dan mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan berbicara saat bercerita dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SDN Sumberjaya 06. Keterampilan berbicara merupakan bagian penting dari keterampilan berbahasa bagi siswa yang dapat berbicara. lebih mudah untuk mengungkapkan pendapat dan mengungkapkan pikiran. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di kelas adalah dengan bercerita yang berkaitan dengan topik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan data dari SDN Sumberjaya 06 SD. Subyek penelitian adalah guru kelas V dan 15 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan inferensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam bercerita cukup baik. Mengenai keberanian, 7 dari 15 siswa berani bercerita dengan suara lantang dan tatapan mata percaya diri. Dalam hal akurasi, 8 dari 15 siswa memiliki pelafalan dan tata bahasa yang benar. Dalam hal pemahaman, 8 dari 15 siswa menceritakan isi cerita dengan sangat jelas sehingga pendengar dapat dengan mudah memahaminya. Pada bagian fasih, hanya 5 siswa dari 15 siswa yang lancar menyampaikan isi cerita. Mengenai kosa kata, dari 15 siswa, hanya 2 siswa yang bercerita dengan kosa kata yang berbeda sedangkan 13 siswa lainnya masih menggunakan kosa kata yang terbatas. Dari 15 penampilan siswa, hanya 7 siswa yang menggunakan ekspresi. Gestur dan ekspresi wajah menggambarkan gestur dengan melambaikan tangan.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to explain how the relationship between vocabulary mastery and schemata on writing observational report skills. The data from this research is the main data obtained through giving assignments or tests, so that the results are in the form of quantitative descriptive data. Therefore, to find out the results, it is done using statistical calculations. From these calculations, it is known that there is a close relationship between vocabulary mastery and schemata with the skills of writing observation reports for class VII students of MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung in the 2018/2019 school year. Overall, it is concluded that students who are skilled in writing reports on observations have a close relationship with mastery of vocabulary and schemata.

Abstract

Through the discovery learning model, this study aims to determine the effectiveness of students' critical thinking skills in developing their self-understanding of the social environment and knowledge in the 21st-century learning era. The research results demonstrated that the learning model applied in research was suitable for developing students' critical thinking skills, as it created an active way of learning for students by finding themselves and investigating themselves. The results obtained would be loyal and long-lasting in memory, and students would not easily forget. This study employed a quasi-experimental method through a nonequivalent control group design using a quantitative research approach. In this study, the results of homogeneity calculations and significant value hypotheses (Sig 2-tailed) revealed a substantial implication of 0.000, meaning that Ho was rejected because 0.000 < 0.05 and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that the discovery learning model could improve critical thinking skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop HOTS-based Electronic Learner Worksheets, knowing the assessment of three experts and the opinions of educators and students in grade VI. This research uses the learning design development research or R&D using the ADDIE model. The research subjects involved comprised three experts (media, linguists, and material experts) and grade VI students. The instrument used for data collection used in the form of a questionnaire given to media experts, linguists, and material experts obtained from the results of the study is qualitative data which is analyzed using quantitative data in the form of numerical data and interpreted with guidelines for assessment category criteria to determine product quality. The results of this study produce HOTS-based E-LKPD products that can be used at the elementary level as teaching materials for students who have met the excellent criteria with an average score of 98.9% media experts, 95% linguists, and 96.9% material experts with very feasible category to use, as well as a practicality level of 87.9% in very practical criteria and an effective level with an average of 90% in the very effective category. HOTS-based E-LKPD teaching materials are feasible, practical and effective for learning.

Abstract

Learning children's literature appreciation in elementary school is very important so that student's language skills, especially receptive skills, can develop well, one of which is poetry writing skills. Learning to write poetry in elementary schools has not been maximized due to limitations in the provision of teaching materials and approaches used by teachers in improving poetry writing skills. Writing skills are one of the most difficult skills of other language skills, therefore an appropriate approach is needed so that the learning objectives can be realized, one of which is the contextual approach because the contextual approach is the way the teacher conducts the learning process by connecting the real world of students with the subject matter to be learned. The purpose of the study was only to analyze and describe the need of developing teaching materials for writing poetry based on the contextual learning (CTL) approach in elementary schools in Bogor Regency so that the data used was qualitative. Various analyses were conducted to determine the need for developing teaching materials for writing poetry based on a comprehensive contextual learning approach based on conditions, curriculum, and the needs of teachers and students. A comprehensive needs analysis is expected and accurate is expected to be developed for teaching materials for writing poetry based on a contextual learning approach in grade IV elementary schools in Bogor Regency based on the needs of the research field.
