Abstract

The high demand for ornamental fish like Guppy, both on local and international market, has increased the opportunity for Guppy fish cultivation. However, there are many people who lacks basic knowledge and technical support to cultivating Guppy. As a result, many fish that has been cultivated did not meet the standards on the market. The purpose of this research was to describe Islamic Business Ethics Application on Guppy's Farmers in Guppy Junior Surabaya. The researchers used descriptive-qualitative research methods to describe how was the cultivation process of Guppy fish by Guppy Junior Surabaya and to know whether the method is appropriate with Islamic Business Ethics. As for the method to collect data is using interviews, conducted on main and supporting sources, and followed by documentations and direct observation to obtain data. The results of this study state that in the process of guppy fish cultivation carried out by guppy junior surabaya, they are able to apply the principles of Islamic business ethics which include the principles of unity, balance, free will, responsibility, and honesty/kindness

Abstract

This research conducted to see the effect of impulsive buying behavior factors on muslim female consumers in Madiun who purchase muslim fashion products online during the new normal period. The non-probability sampling technique used was purposive sampling and the population is muslim female consumers in Madiun, East Java and calculated using the unknown populations formula. The quantitative approach used in this research is based on primary data sources. Multiple linear regression analysis are used in hypothesis  testing. Based on the research results, the  consumer characteristics and situational factors has  a significant positive effect, the website characteristics has a significant negative effect. The religiosity has no significant effect. The simultaneous test results showed a significant positive effect between consumer characteristics, website characteristics, situasional factors, and religiosity to impulsive buying behavior in purchasing muslim fashion products on the marketplace in the new normal.

Abstract

The raise of covid-19 case in East Java have the government to enforce PSBB (Local Lockdown Policy), nevertheless this policy makes peoples spend more money on some particular product. This condition is known as panic buying. In Islam, people are forbidden to have a massive consumption for their own. Its explained in Q.S. Al-Araf (31). To know the consumption behaviour of muslim that having issue on their economy aspect because of covid-19 is the purpose of this study. This is a quantative study with survey method. This study uses validation test, reliability test, and descriptive statistic analysis through tendency variable table. The result of this study explains that the consumption behaviour of muslim in Surabaya that having economic issue because of covid-19 does not contrary to Islamic values.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce in Indonesia like as Tokopedia for buying and selling activities to be easy. However, some seller not promising to apply honesty and benefit in buying and selling activities. So, a consumer caution needed for decide to buy to reduce all the risks. The purpose of this research to analyze the influence of Muslim consumer literacy about maslahah and khiyar on purchasing decisions in Islam. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with analysis technique using multiple linear regression . The result of this research explain of maslahah and khiyar have an influence on purchasing decisions in Islam. The consumers lireracy on Tokopedia application users have implemented of maslahah and khiyar according to religious teachings.

Abstract

Kosmetik the main needs of society in countries that are predominantly Muslim, Wardah is a brand of cosmetics brand in the first country to include halal label on its products, and is also known by some communities in Indonesia as products that demonstrate its existence, safe, high quality and also halal. This study aims to determine the effect of halal knowledge, religiosity and product quality on purchasing decisions of wardah cosmetics on Muslim consumers in Surabaya. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling with the population being Muslim consumers in the city of Surabaya, East Java. This study uses quantitative research methods from primary data. Meanwhile, the research sample amounted to 100 respondents. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis on SPSS version 24. Based on the results of this study Partially, in this study, the variables of halal knowledge and Islamic religiosity did not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. While partially in this study product quality variables have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. And simultaneously the three independent variables halal knowledge, Islamic religiosity and product quality affect the dependent variable, namely purchasing decisions..

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with great zakat potential. However, the existing zakat potential cannot be collected to the maximum. One of the obstacles to the less than optimal collection of zakat funds in Indonesia is the lack of competent human resources (HR). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the agen kebaikan program on fundraising at the Indonesian Zakat Initiative in the East Java region and the effect on human resources at the Amil Zakat Institution. This study uses a qualitative method, namely by obtaining information data about the agen kebaikan program and reports on the collection of ZIS funds at the IZI Amil Zakat Institute in East Java, which are then expected to reveal the phenomena in this study in depth in order to draw conclusions. The results of this study show that the agen kebaikan program has positive implications for the collection of ZIS funds at IZI East Java. Obtaining funds from the agen kebaikan program is quite helpful in raising funds for the East Java ZIS IZI, and can be a forum for producing competent human resources (HR), especially for zakat amil institutions.

Abstract

The increasing number of the poor in Indonesia makes the management of zakat play more important role. LAZs (non-profit organizations managing zakat) which functions as collecting and distributing zakat, infaq, and shadaqah in Indonesia is potential to develop as an attempt for equal distribution of national income, as well as a solution for poverty alleviation. Common empowerment programs by LAZs include education, health, social-humanity, and economy. Those all are consistent with government’s poverty alleviation programs, as mentioned in the Constitution 1945. “Evaluation of Mustahiq Empowerment-Based Poverty Alleviation Program at Amil-Zakat Organizations in Surabaya” points to a theory by Wirawan that evaluation was conducted through three phases; evaluation of process, evaluation of usage, and evaluation of effect. it aims to see whether or not LAZs’ empowerment programs run well and thus, be potential to be developed as a solution for poverty in Indonesia. The result showed that the empowerment programs in education and health areas were found well-implemented, while the other facets including economy and social-humanity still need more improvement within.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out illustration and estimation of zakat potency as well as the amount of zakat collection in Indonesia. Furthermore, it aims to outline the diversity between potency and realization of zakat. It used quantitative descriptive approach through secondary data collection from several sources. The result shows both potency and realization of zakat collection in Indonesia were increasing during 2011-2015. However, the amount of zakat potency surpasses the amount of zakat realization with wide gap.It shows that the average amount of zakat collection on 2011-2015 is less than 1% compare to its potency. One of the possible reason is most of Indonesian prefer to distribute their zakat directly to the muzakki, hence it is unrecorded.

Abstract

The aim of implementing this community service is expected to support government programs in an effort to increase the Human Development Index by Fulfilling the Basic Needs of UNESA Students Affected by Covid-19. The method of implementing activities starts from tracking information affected by Covid-19, identifying partner problems, determining solutions to be offered, implementing PKM activities, monitoring and evaluation, and the final stage is compiling reports. Participants in PKM activities are students receiving basic needs packages of 50 students. The result of this activity is the Fulfillment of the Basic Needs of UNESA Students Affected by Covid-19, of course this activity can support government programs in an effort to increase the Human Development Index.

Abstract

Recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the factors in the decline in people's purchasing power. Where the policy of termination of employment for employees makes the community unproductive and has no income. To overcome this, people need alternative solutions that are fast and appropriate to get money in order to meet their needs. Gold pawning institutions become an alternative that is considered appropriate because with public investment in the form of gold and jewelry, they can be pawned to use their value. Bank Syariah Indonesia is a banking institution that has several superior products, one of which is the Gold Pawn which runs its operations based on sharia. This study uses quantitative research methods with a causal associative approach aimed at knowing and analyzing the causal relationship between two or more variables. The results of this study indicate the gold pawning method of BSI KC Surabaya Darmo and its influence on customer decision making. The appraisal practice is in accordance with sharia theory because the terms and conditions have been met. From this study it can be concluded that there is an influence between the assessment method on customer decision making.
