Abstract

The increasing number of the poor in Indonesia makes the management of zakat play more important role. LAZs (non-profit organizations managing zakat) which functions as collecting and distributing zakat, infaq, and shadaqah in Indonesia is potential to develop as an attempt for equal distribution of national income, as well as a solution for poverty alleviation. Common empowerment programs by LAZs include education, health, social-humanity, and economy. Those all are consistent with government’s poverty alleviation programs, as mentioned in the Constitution 1945. “Evaluation of Mustahiq Empowerment-Based Poverty Alleviation Program at Amil-Zakat Organizations in Surabaya” points to a theory by Wirawan that evaluation was conducted through three phases; evaluation of process, evaluation of usage, and evaluation of effect. it aims to see whether or not LAZs’ empowerment programs run well and thus, be potential to be developed as a solution for poverty in Indonesia. The result showed that the empowerment programs in education and health areas were found well-implemented, while the other facets including economy and social-humanity still need more improvement within.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or commonly called UMKM is one of the driving wheels of the economy in Indonesia, especially in Lumajang district. The increasing number of MSMEs from year to year shows that the majority of people in Lumajang are starting to wish to create their own business. However, the obstacle that is often faced by business actors in Lumajang is their lack of ability to distribute their products. Low knowledge about product displays is a problem and has an impact on low product value and is less desirable. To overcome this, product display training is carried out. The method used is training delivered offline. The result of this activity is an increase in the participants' knowledge and ability to display products. This is known from the responses of the participants to the questionnaire given which showed the results that all participants agreed that the material provided was useful and had an impact on increasing the participants' knowledge.

Abstract

In buying and selling activities, it is only natural for traders to seek profit, but because of the high competition between traders, traders justify any means to pursue profits and even traders ignore ethics in doing business. This is inversely proportional to what the Prophet did, the Prophet Muhammad SAW was a professional trader in buying and selling his wares, he was known as an honest person in doing business and this became the basis for many people to believe in him. This study aims to determine the behavior of Surabaya Customs market traders in the perspective of the basic principles of Islamic markets. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the behavior of traders in the Customs market was quite good, but the behaviorof traders needed to be improved in terms of the accuarcy of measuring the scales. In fact, they did not find fraud in terms of scales, but the scales had not been re-calibrated by the relevant officers for the last 5 years. And traders in the Customs market have implemented the basic principles of the Islamic market even though the Customs market is an ordinary traditional market or a conventional market and not a sharia market that applies sharia principles in it. The basic principles of the Islamic market include the principles of Ar-Rida, the principles of fair competition, the principles of honesty, the principles of openness and the principles of fairness.

Abstract

Buying and selling is a transaction carried out by two people by exchanging goods for other goods or goods for money. Currently, buying and selling transactions for imported used clothes are mushrooming in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Islamic business ethics in Potvashion Sidoarjo. This study uses descriptive qualitative research using interview methods (interview). The research results show that buying and selling practices in Potvashion are carried out between sellers and buyers by mutual agreement. Sellers get used clothes through purchases at TP Pagi. Furthermore, before being marketed, the goods are sterilized first. This sale and purchase is reviewed from Islamic business ethics based on existing principles, everything is carried out well and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the sale and purchase and in accordance with Islamic business ethics

Abstract

In consumptive behavior which greatly affects economic stability where later the greater the level of consumption, the greater the change in economic activity. For this reason, in student studies it is necessary to pay attention to consumption in Islamic teachings, where economic literacy has no influence on consumptive attitudes. So that someone is lightly interested in a product according to his interest in buying without considering the consequences or needs that are the priority of consumer actions. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of economic literacy in order to open up understanding and knowledge about economic descriptions so that they are free from consumptive attitudes. The type of research used is quantitative. The data source used by the researcher is a primary data source that comes directly from the research subject online via the Google form, so that later the results of the Google form data obtained are measured with a Likert scale. The population in this study are Islamic Economics, Islamic Banking, and Islamic Accounting Students who are Muslim and use the Shopeepay application. Based on the results of this study, variable X (Islamic economic literacy) has no effect on variable Y (consumptive behavior). , and vice versa, if Islamic Economics literacy is low, the consumptive attitude will be even greater.

Abstract

Barurambat Timur Kabupaten Pamekasan merupakan desa binaan Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi yang kini sedang mengembangkan semangat berwirausaha di kalangan masyarakat. Sudah mulai banyak berkembang rintisan usaha yang diinisiasi oleh sekelompok warga untuk memperbaiki kondisi ekonomi keluarga mereka. Namun dalam memulai usaha tentunya banyak hal yang masih belum mereka fahami, diantaranya adalah akad Kerjasama usaha dan bagi hasil atas usaha yang mereka jalankan. Melihat kebutuhan mitra terkait edukasi dan sosialisasi akad Kerjasama dan bagi hasil dalam usaha Bersama, maka tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat melakukan kegiatan Edukasi Kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan dapat memberikan edukasi yang cukup untuk mereka menjalankan usaha agar tidak menghadapi permasalahan terkait Kerjasama di kemudian hari.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi seperti ini banyak sekali muncul produk kosmetik baru yang belum diketahui status kehalalannya. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk melakukan penelitian terhadap produk kosmetik halal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan dampak literasi halal terhadap keputusan pembelian mahasiswa ekonomi Islam Jawa Timur terhadap produk  kosmetik halal. Teknik penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari survei yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa Jawa Timur yang mempelajari ekonomi Islam. Non-probability sampling adalah metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan. Purposive sampling, pendekatan non-probabilitation sampling, diterapkan dalam penelitian ini dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 103 responden. Regresi linier sederhana adalah teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini, dan program SPSS versi 25 digunakan untuk melakukan pengujian hipotesis. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis data yang dilakukan maka, temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang menguntungkan antara variabel keputusan pembelian dengan variabel literasi halal. Oleh karena itu, tingkat keputusan pembelian meningkat seiring meningkatnya literasi halal.Â
