Abstract

The background of the research is the low achievement of learning Indonesian in drama material for fifth grade students at Pahlawan Elementary School, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency, Riau. The low results of learning to play drama because students are not trained by teachers in playing drama characters, so students experience difficulties in acting out drama with proper pronunciation, intonation, expression, and appreciation. Learning with the sociodrama method was chosen, because in addition to training students' courage to play drama, it also makes students active in learning and develops cooperation within students. The purpose of this study was to improve the skills of playing drama characters in fifth grade students of SD Pahlawan. The subjects in the study were teachers and fifth grade students at SD Pahlawan, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency, Riau. The number of students is 17 children, consisting of 7 male students and 10 female students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection methods used are tests, observations, and documentation. Prior to conducting the research, the researcher conducted preliminary observation activities through interviews. The data analysis technique in this study is quantitative descriptive statistics, namely by finding the average. The results showed that learning the skills of playing drama characters using the sociodrama method could improve the skills of playing the characters of the fifth grade students of SD Pahlawan. Class average results in cycle I average student score of 67.47 with classical completeness of 70.58% (11 students). In cycle II, the average score of students increased again to 77 with a classical mastery level of 88.23% (15 students). From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the sociodrama method can improve learning outcomes and student activity in drama material.

Abstract

This research originates from the fact that many Grade IVA SD students have difficulty writing narrative essays in Indonesian. This is because the teacher does not provide variations in applying learning models that are less attractive. One solution to overcome this problem is to use a mind mapping model. This classroom action research aims to describe the improvement in narrative writing skills of class IVA students at SD Negeri 002 Kunto Darussalam. This research was carried out in two cycles with the subjects of this study being 22 class IVA students. Data collection techniques used in this research are documentation, observation, and test techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that in the first cycle the teacher's activity got an average percentage of 70% and 88.57% in the second cycle. Furthermore, student activity in cycle I got an average percentage of 61.42% and cycle II 85.71%. And writing student narrative essays was quite good, out of 22 students only 17 students or 77.27% achieved completeness individually. The results of writing student narrative essays in cycle II were also quite good with an average of 82.54 and out of 22 students there were 19 students or 86.36% who achieved completeness individually. Thus it can be concluded that by applying the mind mapping model it can increase teacher activity in teaching, increase student learning activities, and can improve the results of narrative essay writing skills for class IVA students of SD Negeri 002 Kunto Darussalam.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar pada materi keragaman suku bangsa dan budaya dengan penerapan pendekatan CTL pada siswa kelas IV SD Pahlawan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Nopember 2015. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Pahlawan yang berjumlah 24 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 13 orang laki-laki, dan 11 orang perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketuntasan sebelum tindakan hanya mencapai 41,66%, siklus I meningkat menjadi 70,00%, dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 91,00%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan CTL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi keragaman suku bangsa dan budaya siswa kelas IV SD Pahlawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 006 Ujungbatu. dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share, Penelitian ini adalah jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD Negeri 006 Ujungbatu dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 006 Ujungbatu tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas guru dalam proses pembelajaran IPA dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share di siklus I masih banyak yang harus diperbaiki pada siklus II, sedangkan pada siklus II guru telah melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dengan sangat baik, tahap demi tahap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share dapat terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Meningkatnya aktivitas guru pada siklus II disebabkan guru telah menindaklanjuti kekurangan-kekurangan yang terjadi pada siklus sebelumnya dan memperbaikinya dengan pada siklus II. Jumlah siswa yang tuntas meningkat, yaitu dari 17 orang (75%) pada siklus I menjadi 19 orang (95%) pada siklus II. Dengan demikian keberhasilan siswa pada siklus II telah mencapai 95%. Jadi, pembelajaran Sumber daya alami dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 006 Ujungbatu.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi matematika tingkat datar penerapan media geoboard pada siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri Pahlawan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas II SD Negeri Pahlawan. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan sekitar bulan mei april 2016. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 2 tahun ajaran 2021-2022 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 26 orang, terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa adalah: sebelum tindakan hanya 12 (46,15%) yang tuntas, siklus I meningkat menjadi 16 siswa atau (61,54%) yang tuntas, dan siklus II meningkat. menjadi 23 siswa atau (88,46%) yang tuntas. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media geoboard dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada materi matematika tingkat datar siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri Pahlawan.

Abstract

This study examines the learning and learning outcomes of students' mathematics. The problem that is often encountered in learning mathematics is the low learning outcomes of students who have not reached the school's KKM. This study aims to determine the increase in results and learning activities of class VI students of SD Negeri 013 Rambah on cube root material using the drill method. This research is a classroom action research carried out in two cycles consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, perception, reflection. Reflection is used as a basis for planning improvements in the next cycle. The research data was obtained through observation sheets and the results of learning tests in cycle I and cycle II. obtained into data to be analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the use of the drill method can improve student learning outcomes and activities. Increasing student activity from the less category in cycle I to the good category in cycle II. The learning outcomes of students' KKM mastery in cycle I were only 16 students (50%), in cycle II it increased to 29 students (91%). Based on the findings of the researchers, it can be concluded that learning mathematics about cube roots using the drill method can improve the results and learning activities of class VI students at SD Negeri 013 Rambah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain the steps for implementing the PAIKEM learning model with the Demonstration method to improve student learning outcomes in class IV C SD Negeri 024 Tambusai. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach to the form of research in the form of classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. This research took place at SD Negeri 024 Tambusai with research subjects being students of class IV C. Data collection in this study used observation, documentation and test techniques. Data were analyzed using quantitative data analysis based on the SD Negeri 024 Tambusai curriculum with 67 individual Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) and classical completeness that Sudiyono had suggested was 75%. The increase in student learning outcomes on the material properties of sound in class IV C SD Negeri 024 Tambusai in each cycle can be seen from the results of the first cycle test, the average value is 66.7 with a 60% classical completeness percentage, to 81.8 with a completeness percentage classical 92% in cycle II. So, the application of the PAIKEM learning model to material properties of sound can improve student learning outcomes in class IV C

Abstract

This is because the teacher does not provide learning natural resources in accordance with the students' concrete situations. One solution to overcome this problem is to use the Example Non-Example model. Example Non-Example is a learning model that is oriented to everyday experiences. Thus, the purpose of this study was to describe the increase in class IV student learning outcomes in natural resource material using the Example Non-Example model. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach to the form of research, namely classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle held 2 meetings. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 013 Rambah with the research subject being class IV SD. Collecting data in this study using documentation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The increase in student learning outcomes in learning natural resources with the Example Non-Example model in each cycle can be seen from the average score of 73.3 with an 80% completeness percentage in cycle I and an average score of 80.5 with a 92% completeness percentage in cycle II. So, learning with the Example Non-Example model in natural resource science subjects can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 013 Rambah.

Abstract

Project-based learning model is a learning model that involves students in designing, creating, and displaying products to improve a certain skill based on real-world needs. This research aims to measure how much influence the project-based learning model has on students' reading and writing skills at the primary education level. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The research instrument used was an observation sheet for students' reading and writing skills. The results of the research show that the project-based learning model has a significant effect on students' reading and writing skills at the primary education level. Students' reading and writing skills show that students' basic literacy in terms of reading and writing is already in the very skilled category. The project-based learning model can be applied to research other basic literacy that is still needed by students at the primary education level. Teachers should be more creative and innovative in teaching other basic literacys so that students' competencies can compete globally.

Abstract

Principal supervision is one of the duties and functions that must be carried out by school principals in the school environment which are their duties and responsibilities. One of the supervisions carried out by the principal is to maintain and ensure the competence of teachers remains qualified. This study aims to improve the ability of teachers in writing lesson plans and presentations through supervision by the principal. The method used in this research is the school action research method. This method has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 18 teachers consisting of 3 male teachers and 15 female teachers. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The research instrument used was the teacher's lesson plan assessment sheet and the teacher's presentation observation sheet. The results of the study can increase the ability to write lesson plans and teacher presentations from pre-action to cycle 1 by 10,2%. Therefore, this research can be used as a reference in improving the ability to write lesson plans and teacher presentations as a whole by 10,2%. Supervision of school principals needs to be carried out continuously so that teacher competence is maintained.
