Abstract

The students' difficulty understanding lecture material is due to the lack of learning media that can help students learn independently. This study aims to develop a learning video tutorial based on the Screencastify screen record. This type of research is developmental research. The development model used is the Plomp development model. The development of the learning model is divided into three stages, namely the initial research, the prototype production, and the model assessment stage. The technique of collecting data in this research is observation and interview. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out to know the feasibility or validity of the product being developed. Media testing uses expert judgment. The validity measurement uses the Likert scale. The results of the validity and practicality of the validators were carried out by using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) test using the SPSS program. The results showed that the educational statistics tutorial videos were classified as valid for all categories and very practical, with a score of 85.5 based on students' answers as respondents. It can be concluded that the learning video developed is valid so that it is feasible to be applied in the learning process.

Abstract

This studied aims to know whether there was any significant effect ability of understanding mathematical concepts between students using cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type with students using conventional learning or not in SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. This research was a quasi-experiment; the researcher played a direct role as a teacher in the learning process. Subjects in this study were the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru, amounting to 66 and the object of this study was an ability of understanding mathematical concepts. Methods used to collect the data of this study were observation, documentation, and testing. In this study, the class meetings were held for six times, one meeting was for a pre test, in which four times of the meeting was carried out with Cooperative Learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type and one meeting was for a post test. The data collected were analyzed using a t test. Based on the analysis of data, it is shown that there are differences in the ability of understanding mathematical concepts between students using cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type and students using conventional learning in SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. It can be seen from the comparison of to and tt. At the level of 5%, it was indicated that to is more than tt (3.34 > 2.02). Thus it can be concluded that there were significant effect between students using cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type with students using conventional learning.

Abstract

Philosophy of mathematics is a branch of philosophy that studies philosophical assumptions, foundations, and effects of mathematics. The aim of the philosophy of mathematics is to provide a record of the nature and methodology of mathematics and to understand the place of mathematics in human life. The field of knowledge called the philosophy of mathematics is the result of philosophical thought whose goal is mathematics itself. The main concern of the philosophy of mathematics is to provide an explanation of the nature of mathematics. While the philosophy of mathematics education is a philosophy that discusses the process of mathematics education. Mathematics education refers to the problem of learning and teaching. The philosophy of mathematics forms the philosophy of mathematics education, meaning that the philosophy of mathematics education is supported by the philosophy of mathematics. Towards learning in mathematics education, philosophical thought has a very important role. Philosophy also plays a role in creating a mathematics learning that allows students to build their logical thinking and build their mathematical knowledge. The philosophy of mathematics forms mathematics education, meaning that mathematics education is supported by the philosophy of mathematics. Thus, Philosophy of mathematics is a branch of philosophy that studies philosophical assumptions, foundations, and effects of mathematics. The aim of the philosophy of mathematics is to provide a record of the nature and methodology of mathematics and to understand the role of mathematics in human life.

Abstract

Learning in the digital era is complex and dynamic since it involves mix of work, social life and education system that we need to understand alongside the different theories of education and learning.

Abstract

This studied aims to know the educational system in Netherland. The research method is literature review or literature study, which contains theories relevant to research problems. The result of the educational system of Netherland that the politics and structure of educational system: the Dutch government through its constitution places freedoms in the education system, namely: (a) freedom to establish educational institutions; (b) organize it; and (c) determine their own religious basis or underlying belief. The structure and type of education: there are three levels of formal Dutch education, namely primary, junior secondary and vocational education, and general high school, vocational academies and universities. The general secondary school structure consists of 4 types of schools, namely: pre-university (VWO, 6 years), vocational level I (MAVO, 4 years), and upper level (HAVO, 5 years), vocational academies, and other types of schools. The education management; The form of the Dutch education system is centralized. The responsibility of the central government lies in matters relating to the organization, funding, inspections, examinations, promotion innovation. The reflection of educational of netherland; role of the education inspectorate is very large in controlling the implementation of education in the Netherlands.

Abstract

The goal of this research is  to describe the analysis of mathematics students error to solve problem of linear programs. This research belongs to the type of qualitative research with using a descriptive approach.  The data collection technique is done by giving tests in the form of linear program story questions and interviews. This study used in fifth semester of the students of mathematics of Pahlawan University. The results showed that the types of conceptual errors are: a) making graphic error solution, b) error in using the concept of a variable that will be used, c) identify what is asked and d) choosing error symbol. Procedural errors are: a) error in choosing the strategy to be used in problem solving, b) error in apply strategy to solve the problem, and c) error in viewing return what is the solution obtained is in accordance with what known and asked. Causative factor students make mistakes in solving program problems linear:  a) Students are not accustomed to solving story problems so that students have difficulty transform into a mathematical model b) Students do not understand the concept of symbols inequalities c) Students are less proficient at making graphs including determining the area completion d) Students do not understand the concept of extreme points e) Students are less thorough in performing calculation operations

Abstract

The rapid development of technology opens up new opportunities and ways in doing many things, including to develop the world of education. One of the learning media that is currently developing so rapidly is a computer with various relevant programs. One of the computer programs that can be used as a medium for learning mathematics is the Geogebra program. The purpose of this community service is to find out the use of Geogabra in geometric geometry at Sei Putih High School, Kampar Riau Regency. The methods that will be used in this activity are direct observation, interviews, presentations, and questions and answers. The results of this service activity received a positive response from the partner schools and the teachers participating in the workshop. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the training participants and the seriousness of the participants during the activity. The participants hoped for further training so that the competence of the Sei Putih High School mathematics teacher in learning using Geogebra would increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas V SD TI 030 Batu Belah. Metode Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 20 orang, dengan jumlah siswa laki-laki 7 orang, dan siswa perempuan berjumlah 13 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil keterampilan menulis siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi puisi di kelas V SD TI 030 Batu Belah pada siklus I tergolong cukup dengan rata-rata 70,05. Selanjutnya dari 20 orang siswa hanya 12 orang yang tuntas dengan ketuntasan klasikal 60,00%. Pada siklus II tergolong baik dengan rata-rata 81,05 dari 20 orang siswa terdapat 17 orang siswa yang tuntas dengan ketuntasan klasikal 85%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan model Active Learning teknik Card Sort dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi puisi pada siswa kelas V SDN TI 030 Batu Belah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Peningkatan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Dengan Menggunakan Model Diskurusus Multy Representation di Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum tindakan, ketuntasan hasil kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas IV hanya mencapai 18,19% dalam kategori kurang baik. Dalam melaksanakan siklus 1 Pertemuan 1 ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mencapai 27,28 % kategori kurang baik. Siklus 1 Pertemuan 2 ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mencapai 45,46 % kategori kurang baik. Pada siklus 2 Pertemuan 1 ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mencapai 63,63 % kategori kurang baik. Sedangkan dalam melaksanakan siklus 2 Pertemuan 2 ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mencapai 90,90% kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model Diskursus Multy Representation dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Learning in the new normal era during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic requires teachers to be more innovative and creative in preparing for learning. This activity is carried out in helping teachers to provide quality new normal education so that the learning objectives are achieved properly. The approach presented is participatory action research (PAR) with activity partners at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Kampar. The activity is carried out in three stages, namely problem identification, activity implementation and activity evaluation. The activity was attended by 20 teachers, and the material provided included blended learning using the flipped classroom method. The result of this activity is the teacher's ability to understand the implementation of the flipped classroom model that is depicted during the simulation after the training is carried out. The indicators of the success of this community service implementation are activities carried out according to plan, as well as positive responses from participants.
