Abstract

Abstrak. Biji koro benguk banyak dipergunakankan untuk tambahan pakan ternak seperti babi dan unggas dengan memberikan hasil berupa meningkatnya berat badan dan performan tubuh yang baik. Tercapainya pubertas pada puyuh dapat diamati dari performan tubuh, munculnya suara, bertelur dan secara morfologi adalah dengan melihat perkembangan folikel ovariumnya. Senyawa bioaktif dalam biji koro benguk yang diduga berefek fertilitas adalah alkaloid dan L-Dopa melalui pengaruhnya pada sekresi hormon gonadotropin dari kelenjar hipofisis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan tepung biji koro benguk untuk stumulasi pubertas puyuh. Sampel penelitian adalah 16 ekor puyuh prapubertas yang terbagi menjadi empat, yaitu kelompok 0 %, 10 %, 20 % dan 40 % tepung biji koro benguk. Tepung yang dicampur pakan diberikan 2 kali sehari selama 30 hari. Data berupa berat ovarium dianalisis dengan anava satu jalan pada taraf uji 5 % dan Beda Nyata Terkecil. Struktur morfologi ovarium dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan mengamati folikelnya. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan bahwa ada pengaruh tepung biji koro benguk pada berat ovarium dengan hasil F hitung 3,60 > dari F tabel 3,49 dan terdapat beda nyata antara kelompok yang mendapatkan 0 % dengan 20 % dan 40 %, namun tidak berbeda antara kelompok 0 dengan 10 % dan 20 % dengan 40 %. Struktur morfologi ovarium menunjukkan bahwa ada kecenderungan bertambahnya folikel yang berkembang dengan semakin banyaknya persentase tepung yang diberikan. Simpulan yang diambil adalah bahwa penambahan tepung biji koro benguk mampu mempercepat pubertas puyuh betina yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan rata-rata berat ovarium antara kelompok Kontrol dan perlakuan serta gambaran folikel ovarium kelompok perlakuan yang berkembang lebih baik dibanding Kontrol.

Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar akan lebih efektif bila didukung dengan tersedianya bahan ajar atau alat bantu yang menunjang. Modul IPA terpadu dengan pendekatan SETS diharapkan dapat memperjelas dan mempermudah penyajian materi dan mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam berinteraksi langsung dengan lingkungan dan sumber belajar lainnya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar IPA terpadu yang layak digunakan dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.Penilaian kelayakan didasarkan pada hasil penilaian instrumen kelayakan oleh pakar, meliputi kelayakan materidan penyajian. Keefektifan  modul dianalisis dengan membandingkan perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan setelah menggunakan modul.Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian modul IPA terpadu oleh pakar menunjukkan kriteria sangat layak. Pada uji coba skala kecil, modul yang dikembangkan mendapat respon sangat baik oleh siswa. Hasil uji coba skala besar menunjukkan bahwa keefektifan modul yang dikembangkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran mendapat respon sangat baik oleh guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul IPA terpadu berbasis SETS dengan tema hujan asam layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran kelas VII di SMP Negeri 30 Semarang. Teaching and learning activity will be more efective if supported by the avability of teaching materials. Integrated natural science module by SETS approach expected to clarify and simplify the presentation of the materials, and develop the student ability to interact with the environment and another learning source directly. This research aims to develop teaching materials integrated natural science that feasibility and effectively used in learning. The feasibility assesment based on assesment instrument by experts include materials and views. The effectiveness of module analyzed by comparing the difference of learning out comes before and after using the module. Research type used in this research was Research and Development. The results showed that the integrated science assessment’s module by experts showed very worthy criteria. On limited-scale trials, the module received very good response from the students. On large-scale trials showed that the effectiveness of the module in learning activity received great responses from teacher and students. Based on the results of this study concluded that the integrated sciece module based on SETS with acid rain’s theme are feasible and effective to use in learning activity at 30 semarang Junior High School.

Abstract

Di SMP N 2 Jekulo Kudus dalam pembelajaran IPA sudah memanfaatkan ICT (Information and Communication Technology) seperti power point dan video. Namun guru belum dapat memaksimalkan sarana dan prasarana yang ada. Menurut hasil observasi di sekolah salah satu kendala dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA terpadu yaitu masih minimnya media pembelajaran IPA terpadu. Oleh karena itu media pembelajaran IPA terpadu perlu dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini mengkaji proses pengembangan dan keefektifan media DGBL pada pembelajaran pencemaran lingkungan di SMP. Efektivitas diukur dengan indikator siswa yang mencapai nilai ≥70 mencapai 85% dari total siswa, siswa yang memiliki minat baik mencapai 85% dari total siswa, dan siswa yang memiliki aktivitas sangat tinggi mencapai 85% dari total siswa. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu validator menilai media DGBL sangat baik dan layak. Pakar media dan guru (media) rata-rata skor 2,79 dengan kriteria sangat baik, sedangkan dari pakar materi dan guru (materi) rata-rata skor 2,87 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Selanjutnya pada uji coba skala kecil, siswa memberikan penilaian dengan persentase 97% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Pada uji coba pemakaian diketahui bahwa persentase ketuntasan klasikal kelas VII-G sebesar 82,35% dan kelas VII-H sebesar 94,44%. Siswa dengan minat baik sebesar 92,86% dan siswa dengan aktivitas tinggi sebesar 90%. Selain itu tanggapan guru terhadap penggunaan media DGBL dalam proses pembelajaran menunjukan tanggapan yang sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media DGBL layak dan efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema pencemaran lingkungan di SMP. The science learning in SMP N 2 Jekulo Kudus has already used ICT (Information and Communication Technology) like power point and videos. According to the school observation’s result, one of the obstacles in implementing an integrated science teaching is the lack of availability of integrated science learning media. Therefore, an integrated media learning science needs to be developed. Therefore, an integrated media learning science needs to be developed. This research is a Research and Development (R&D). This research examines the process of development and the effectiveness of learning media DGBL on environmental pollution in junior high school. The effectiveness is measured by the availability of 85% of students who got score more than 70, the students who have a good interest reached 85%, and the students who have a good activity reached 85% too. The result of this study indicates that the media DGBL is very good and deserved to be used. Media experts and teachers (the media) have the average score of 2,79 with very well’s criteria, while material experts and teachers (the material) have the average score of 2,87 with very well’s criteria too. Furthermore, in the small-scale trials, the students gave the assessment’s percentage 97% with very well’s criteria. The trial of used known that the classical percentage for VII-G was 82,35% and VII-H was 94,44%. Students with an interest either 92,86% and students with high activity by 90%. In addition, the teacher's response to the use of media in the learning process DGBL showed a very good response. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the media DGBL is feasible and effective for integrated science learning about environmental pollution in junior high school.

Abstract

Objectives to be achieved in service activities is to foster the spirit of starting a new life for the 5 farmers who suffered catastrophic cold lava flood particular group Livestock quail Tani Mulyo Hamlet Quick Village Gondosuli Muntilan district and 5 breeders are joined in Group Livestock quail Rejeki Hamlet Macanan Banyudono Shaman District. Specific targets are the seeds quail ready to lay that out of 1,000 head of targeted quail egg can produce 75%, assuming a quail egg-laying 1 egg / day, sold at a retail price of Rp. 210, - / point. Results of these activities are still limited availability of seedling 3,690 tails with an average weight increase in the age of 2 weeks 28 grams and 3,450 head at the age of 8 weeks to 167 grams. Egg production reached 86% before the arranged marriage which only reached 66% egg production quail. To foster the spirit of entrepreneurship that is able to think of creative and innovative and able to read the opportunities as well as clever use it in accordance with the capabilities and not focused on just one type of work just the wives of farmers tried to create diversified products made from meat and quail eggs.

Abstract

Laboratory technician skills in handling experimental animals are needed by the study program, which uses experimental animals in the lecture and research process. The Biology Laboratory of FMIPA UNNES has the resources to practice these skills. As the realization of the 3rd Dharma of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, community service is carried out to improve the skills of higher education laboratory technicians both private and public universities in the city of Semarang in handling experimental animals. The method used is training in the form of hands-on practice. The animals used were mice and white rats. The trained practices were bioethics, maintenance techniques, handling, gavage, drawing blood, and vaginal smears of experimental animals. The participants consisted of 29 laboratory technicians from general medicine, dentistry, biology, biology education, pharmacy, and animal husbandry study programs. The training instructors consist of lecturers, technicians, and student assistants. The training was held for two days by implementing health protocols. As a result, the participants improved their skills. From the beginning, only 29,26% of participants had the knowledge and skills to handle experimental animals at the end of the training, increasing to 86.84%. It concludes that the participants have increased their knowledge and skills in handling experimental animals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pengembangan dan keefektifan media Digital Games Based Learning (DGBL) pada pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia di SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Ada dua tahapan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu tahap proses pengembangan media DGBL (identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, dan revisi produk) dan uji efektivitas (uji pemakaian, revisi produk, dan produk akhir). Dalam penelitian ini efektivitas diukur dari siswa yang nilainya ?75 mencapai 75% total siswa, siswa yang memiliki minat baik mencapai 75% total siswa, dan siswa yang   sangat aktif mencapai 75% total siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media DGBL efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia di SMP. The study is aimed to analyze the process of development and effectiveness of DGBL media in human’s reproduction material in Junior High School. This is a Research and Development (R&D) work. There are two steps in conducting this research, the first one is the process of developing DGBL media (potential and problem identification, data collection, product design, design validation, limited scale trial, and product revising). The second one is effectiveness test (test of usage, product revising, dan final product). In the study the effectiveness is measured from students attaining grade ?75 covering 75% of the total students, students who have good interest reaching out 75% of the total students, and students who are very active and reach out 75% of the total students. According to the result of the study the DGBL media is effective and feasible to use as the learning media in the human’s reproduction material in Junior High School.

Abstract

Senyawa aktif yang terkandung dalam batang patah tulang yaitu glikosida, sapogenin dan asam elagat. Senyawa yang membantu mempercepat penyembuhan luka sayat yaitu senyawa sapogenin, karena senyawa sapogenin bermanfaat mempengaruhi pembentukan kolagen (tahap awal perbaikan jaringan). Tujuan penelitian adalah mengkaji ekstrak batang patah tulang dalam bentuk salep pada penyembuhan luka sayat tikus putih serta menentukan dosis dan waktu tercepat pada penyembuhan luka sayat. Penelitian menggunakan design post test yaitu dengan mengambil data setelah perlakuan, rancangan yang digunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 20 ekor tikus putih jantan galur Wistar umur 2 bulan yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok yaitu dengan poviodin iodine 10% sebagai kontrol positif, salep dengan dosis 5%, 10% dan 20%. Perlakuan diberikan selama 13 hari. Pengambilan data dengan mendokumentasikan dan mencatat waktu penyembuhan luka sayat. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan membandingkan waktu tercepat pada penyembuhan luka sayat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salep dosis 5% dan 10% hasilnya tidak ada perbedaan. perlakuan salep dosis 10% lebih optimal dalam mempercepat penyembuhan luka sayat tikus putih dilihat pada hari ke-9 luka sudah sembuh dengan adanya jaringan baru. Sedangkan pada dosis 20% kurang optimal dalam mempercepat penyembuhan luka sayat dilihat pada hari ke-13. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian salep dosis 10% dosis paling optimal dalam mempercepat penyembuhan luka sayat tikus putih dengan melihat waktu penyembuhan tercepat pada tikus putih.Active compounds contained in the stem fractures are glycosides , sapogenin and elagat acid . Compounds that help speed healing cuts that sapogenin compounds , as useful sapogenin compounds affect the formation of collagen ( the early stages of tissue repair ) . The purpose of the study is to assess the fracture stem extract in the form of ointment in healing cuts mice and to determine the dose and the fastest time in the healing of cuts . Research using post-test design is to take data after treatment , the design used a completely randomized design ( CRD ) . The samples used were 20 white male rats of the Wistar strain aged 2 months were divided into 4 groups, with 10 % poviodin iodine as a positive control , an ointment at a dose of 5 % , 10 % and 20 % . Treatment was given for 13 days . Data retrieval with document and record cuts healing time . Data were analyzed descriptively by comparing the fastest time in the healing of cuts . The results showed that the dose ointment 5 % and 10 % the result is no difference . Treatment ointment 10 % more optimal dose in accelerating the healing of cuts seen white mice on day 9, the wound had healed with the new tissue. While at 20 % less than optimal dose in accelerating healing cuts seen at day 13 . Based on the results of this study concluded that the administration of a dose of 10 % ointment most optimal dose in accelerating the healing of cuts of white mice by looking at the fastest healing time in rats .

Abstract

Objectives to be achieved in service activities is to foster the spirit of starting a new life for the 5 farmers who suffered catastrophic cold lava flood particular group Livestock quail Tani Mulyo Hamlet Quick Village Gondosuli Muntilan district and 5 breeders are joined in Group Livestock quail Rejeki Hamlet Macanan Banyudono Shaman District. Specific targets are the seeds quail ready to lay that out of 1,000 head of targeted quail egg can produce 75%, assuming a quail egg-laying 1 egg / day, sold at a retail price of Rp. 210, - / point. Results of these activities are still limited availability of seedling 3,690 tails with an average weight increase in the age of 2 weeks 28 grams and 3,450 head at the age of 8 weeks to 167 grams. Egg production reached 86% before the arranged marriage which only reached 66% egg production quail.
