Abstract

Cabai merupakan komoditas sayuran yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggidan dapat tumbuh diberbagai jenis tanah. Masalah utama dalam budidaya cabaiadalah tingginya serangan hama/penyakit yang secara ekonomis dapat menurunkanprodukitifitas, penggunaan pupuk kimia yang kurang bijaksana berdampak padalingkungan dan tidak aman untuk dikonsumsi. Untuk mengurangi penggunaan pupukkimia diperlukan teknologi inovasi penggunaan pupuk organik. Penggunaan pupukaktif Trichoderma harzianum, sebagai salah satu alternatif agar produktifitas daricabai yang diusahakan tidak menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penngaruhpupuk aktif Trichoderma harzianum, terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanamancabai .Rancangan acak lengkap digunakan sebagai rancangan dalam penelitian ini.Tanaman indikator yang digunakan adalah cabai. Cabai ditanam di dalam polibagberukuran 40 x 50 cm dengan tanah sebanyak 10 kg. Variasi pupuk aktifTrichoderma harzianum ( g) adalah 0, 100, 150, 200 dan 250. Data dianalisis denganmenggunakan ANAVA satu jalan serta dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 95%. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan pemberian kompos aktif Trichoderma harzianumberpengaruh terhadap pertumbjuhan akar primer, berat kering tanaman, kadar klorofiltetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman. Hasil uji lanjut BNT menunjukanbahwa pemberian pupuk aktif Trichoderma Harzianum pada semua perlakukanberbeda nyata kontrol pada panjang akar dan kadar klorofil, sedangkan pupuk aktif Tharzianum, dosis 250 g perpengaruh paling besar terhadap berat keringtanaman.Simpulan dari hasil penelitian bahwa pemberian kompos aktif Trichodermaharzianum berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabai . Respon pertumbuhantanaman cabai akibat pemberian kompos aktif Trichoderma harzianum dapatmeningkatkan jumlah akar lateral, kandungan klorofil serta berat kering tanamancabai.Kata Kunci : pertumbuhan dan produksi , tanaman cabai

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh media, metode dan interaksinya terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan Randomized Factorial Design 2x2 yang dilaksanakan pada kelas VII di SMPN 1 Sluke. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis media dan metode serta variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata hasil belajar yang dicapai kelas perlakuan I, II, III, dan IV masing-masing yaitu 60,4; 68,2;68,9 dan 70,7. Hasil uji ANAVA menunjukkan media, metode dan interaksinya berpengaruh nyata terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan uji lanjut LSD menunjukkan bahwamedia animasi berpengaruh lebih baik daripada charta, metode Time Token berpengaruh lebih baik daripada diskusi, dan interaksi media animasi dan metode Time Token memberikan pengaruh yang paling baik terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa materi organisasi kehidupan.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of media, methods, and their interaction towards activities and learning outcome. This study is an experimental research withRandomized Factorial Design 2x2 conducted in class VII at SMP N 1 Sluke. The independent variables in this study are the type of media and the methods and dependent variable is the learning outcomes of students. The average grade of learning outcomes that achieved by treatment class I, II, III, and IV respectively are 60.4: 68.2: 68.9 and 70.7. The ANAVA test results showed that the media, methods,and their interaction give real effect on learning outcomes and further test by LSD showed that the animation media give better effect than the chart; Time Token method give better effect than a discussion; and the interaction animation media with Time Token method gives best effect towards activities and student learning outcomes of The Organization of Life material in SMP N 1 Sluke.

Abstract

Cassava stalk can be converted into sugar-based product by using microorganism. Unfortunately, lignin act as a barrier of optimal bioconversion. Cassava stalk needs pretreatment process for removing this barrier. The effect of lime pretreatment on microstructure of cassava stalk fibers and the growth of Aspergillus niger FNCC 6114 were observed in this research. The cassava stalks were reduced into 0.147- 0.297 mm size and pretreated with 1 % Ca(OH)2. Lime pretreated and unpretreated cassava stalk was used as solid medium for Aspegillus niger FNCC 6114. The effect of pretreatment method on fibers microstructure of cassava stalk was evaluated through SEM micrograph. The growth and metabolism activities of Aspergillus niger FNCC 6114 were monitored through SEM micrograph of media after fermentation. The other parameters examined were changes in glucosamine, reducing sugar levels, and spores’ quantity. Lime pretreatment altered microstructure of cassava stalk fibers. However, cassava stalk without lime pretreatment gave better growth of Aspergillus niger FNCC 6144 based on metabolism activities parameters. Cassava stalks is suitable as media for Aspergillus niger FNCC 6144 through solid state fermentation. For better growth of Aspergillus niger FNCC 6144 fine-sized cassava stalk should not be lime pretreated. The results of this study  provide  information about the pretreatment of cassava stems which was effective in supporting the growth of Aspergillus niger. Enhancements the utilization of cassava stems by using fungi, for example Aspergillus niger can overcome the accumulation of organic waste that can interfere with environmental sustainability.

Abstract

A research on the use of sucrose and lactose as carrier media to protect Acetobacter xylinum cell subjected to freeze drying has been done. The aim of the research was to know the number of the viable cells from dried culture and to know the concentration of the carrier medium that would give best result. The best result is sucrose at the concentration of 15% that produced 28.2 x 106 viable cells/ ml of rehidrated culture. The rehidrated culture used in the research was Schramm & Herstin medium.

Abstract

Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is an important competency that must be had by prospective teachers to realize 21st-century learning. This research was aimed to analyze the relationship and the effect of course mastery and Technology Integration Self Efficacy (TISE) on TPACK of the prospective science teachers. This research was correlation research. By using regression analysis, the relationship between course mastery and TISE was analyzed on the TPACK of the science teacher candidates. Based on the analysis, it was known that the average of course mastery, TISE, and TPACK of prospective science teachers is good enough. Meanwhile, multiple regression tests were related to the relationship between course mastery and Technology Integration Self Efficacy (TISE) on TPACK of science teacher candidates simultaneously showed a strong correlation with the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.736 and R square of 0.542. It means there is an effect of course mastery and TISE on the TPACK of the prospective science teacher by 54.20%.
