Abstract

The activity aims to provide Technical Guidance on Broiler Chicken Maintenance Management for Breeders in Puosu Jaya Village, Konda District. The problem experienced was the low knowledge of the farming community about how to manage chickens so that they can increase their productivity. Community service activities are carried out by implementing a chicken intensification technology package so that it was more profitable and develops in the community, especially the breeder community. The method of activity was carried out in preliminary activities, counseling and demonstrations as well as evaluation design. It can be concluded that the community really needs guidance in developing the potential of broiler farms that they have been working on, which has an impact on increasing income and developing chicken population.

Abstract

This technical guidance activity aims to teach how to process organic fertilizer based on cow dung which is mostly produced by the community's livestock, so that it canĀ  reduce the cost of inorganic fertilizer and be more profitable. This activity was carried out in farmer groups in Morome and Alebo Villages, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. The method of activity is carried out by: (1) lectures and discussions on materials and methods of processing organic fertilizers, (2) demonstrations and guidance on theĀ  selection of materials and processing of cow dung-based organic fertilizers, (3) packaging and marketing methods for livestock manure-based organic fertilizers. cow. The counseling material presented received a positive and satisfactory response from the participants. In general the participants wanted to adopt the training materials and were very active in the technical guidance. It was concluded that the participants were very interested in applying the guidance materials taught and producing them commercially. The participants hoped that their village would often be given agricultural and livestock guidance and counseling activities.

Abstract

This activity is a community service activity carried out to help increase the productivity of goat selling breeders around the coast of Kendari City, especially in the Anduonohu Market area. Implementation of activities carried out in the form of counseling in the form of visits, delivery of material and discussions directly to goat farmer. The material presented was in the form of planting forage as the main source of feed for goats and using reinforcing feed, the need for strong and tidy goat pens, namely a stage model so that they can maintain environmental cleanliness and livestock health, Management of goat manure waste into bokashi fertilizer. The results of the activity show that they understand and are capable of cultivating forage as the main source of feed and know the importance of using forage boosters (concentrates). 2) Farmers know the benefits of using stilt pens to maintain a clean environment and goat health but have not implemented them due to limited funds to build cages. 3) Farmers do not know about the use of EM4 in leftover feed and livestock manure to produce bokashi organic fertilizer in a short time.
