Abstract

Pengkajian (assessment) keperawatan komunitas merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dan fundamental sebagai langkah awal dalam proses keperawatan komunitas. Lahan basah memiliki keunikan ekosistem, sumber daya alam, masyarakat yang tinggal, potensi dan masalah kesehatan yang berbeda dari lingkungan yang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali dan merangkum literatur aspek pengkajian kesehatan lahan basah yang berfokus pada keperawatan komunitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian literature review. Pencarian literatur dilakukan menggunakan tiga database jurnal secara online, yaitu EBSCOhost, Science Direct, dan Wiley Online Library open access content. Tahun publikasi artikel antara 2000-2022 dan berbahasa Inggris. Kualitas artikel dinilai menggunakan intrumen the Joanna Briggs Institute. Sebanyak 36 artikel terjaring sampai pada tahap akhir pencarian. Terdapat 16 artikel mengkaji peran air di lahan basah dan 6 artikel mengkaji peran makanan di lahan basah dan dampaknya bagi kesehatan masyarakat, 11 artikel mengkaji penularan penyakit infeksi di lahan basah, serta 3 artikel mengkaji potensi bahaya fisik dan psikologis lahan basah. Pengkajian keperawatan komunitas pada masyarakat di lahan basah dapat difokuskan dengan memperhatikan aspek kesehatan khas yang terdapat pada lahan basah.

Abstract

Smoking is a behavior that can make the appearance of various kinds of health disorders because cigarettescontain harmful ingredients. Smoking habits carried out by adolescents should be preventable and the need forsupporting factors that can direct adolescents not to smoke. One of them is by the government's efforts byincluding a picture of a health warning on a cigarette wrapper. This government's efforts aim to provideinformation about the impact of smoking. Smoking habits carried out by teenagers are quite high and this canbe due to the views and perceptions believed about cigarettes. Perception can affect a person so that it canreflect behavior. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship of visual perception of images of thedangers of smoking on cigarette packs with the smoking behavior of adolescent boys at SMK X Banjarbaru.Non-experimental methods with correlational analytic design with cross sectional approach and probabilitysampling technique with proportionate stratified random sampling type were used in this study. This studyamounted 125 students as samples and samples will fill out the questionnaires that have been provided. TheChi-square test is used to analyze data. The results of the study (p-value= 0.005 < =0.05) which means thereis a visual perception of the dangers of smoking in cigarette packs with the smoking behavior of teenage boys inSMK X Banjarbaru. Smoking behavior in adolescents can be prevented and controlled with a positiveperception of the image contained in cigarette packs

Abstract

Filariasis (elephantiasis disease) is an infectious disease caused by filarial worm (microfilaria) andtransmitted by mosquitoes Mansonia, Anopheles, Culex, Armigeres and Aedes. In 2012 Barito KualaRegency was declared endemic filariasis with Mf-rate of 2.19%. The purpose of this study was to studycommunity and environmental factors related to the incidence of filariasis in Barito Kuala Regency. Thisstudy used a case control design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a number ofsamples with a sample of 15 people and controls 30 people with a ratio of 1: 2. The research instrumentwas in the form of a questionnaire sheet and observation sheet. Data analysis using chi-square test. Theresults of this study indicates that there was a relationship between the habit of using bed nets and theincidence of filariasis with a value of p = 0.015 OR: 6.91, there was a relationship between the habit ofusing wire netting in interactions with the incidence of filariasis with a p value of 0.441 OR: 2.04 with theincidence of filariasis with a value of p = 0.011 OR: 14.00, there was no association between the habit ofusing mosquito repellent and the incidence of filariasis with p = 0.044 OR: 5.23, and there was noassociation with water hyacinth with the incidence of filariasis with p = 0.587 OR: 1.75. The habit of usingmosquito nets, wire netting during operations, and managing marine use filariasis.

Abstract

Most adolescent have problems in the quality of sleep caused by fatigue as a result of irregular physicalactivity. This research to determine the relationship between physical activity with sleep quality for femalestudents at “Darul Hijrah Puteri” Islamic Boarding School. The design of this study was analytic surveywith cross sectional approach design. The study population was 484 female students. Cluster randomsampling is a technique used in sampling so that 243 respondents were obtained. Data were analyzed usingChi-Square test. The instrumentxof thisxstudy usedxaxquestionnaire. The results showed (p-value = 0. 384>0.05) that there was no relationship between physical activity and sleep quality in female students of theDarul Hijrah Islamic Boarding School in Martapura. There are several factors affect sleep quality, so thephysical activity cannot be the only factor for causing sleep quality problems.

Abstract

In Indonesia, a lot of people aren’t used to having breakfast, report Riskesdas 2010 16,9%-50% school-agechildren in Indonesia weren’t used to having breakfast, consumption of 35.000 elementary school-age children26,1% of drink for breakfast and 44,6% had less than 15% nutritional adequency rate of energy intake. Thepurpose of this study was analyze factors related to breakfast habit of students in SDN Sungai Rangas Hambuku,West Martapura. The present study used descriptive correlational research design with cross sectionalapproach. Research population were all 4th and 5th grade students with sample of 44 respondents collectedtechnique with proportional stratified random sampling. Analysis data used spearman rho correlation. Resultsthis study found there was no significant relation between gender (p=0.509), education of mother (p=0.117),occupation of mother (p=0.954), family encouragement (p=0.441), availability of breakfast at home (p=0.614),peer (p=0.398), allowance (p=0.979) to breakfast habit.

Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome is a syndrome that occurs in females 2-14 days before menstruation.Factors that affect premenstrual syndrome include sport activity, body mass index, consumptionof salty foods and consumption of sweet foods. The objective of this study was to determine therisk factors of premenstrual syndrome on adolescents Darul Hijrah Puteri High School. Theresearch was observational analytic with restrofektif approach (case control study), purposivesampling method was employed in 32 cases and 32 controls at the Darul Hijrah Puteri HighSchool. The results showed an association between sport activity (p=0,002), body mass index(p=0,005), consumption of salty foods (p=0,001), consumption of sweet foods (p=0,045) andpremenstrual syndrome. Sports activity, body mass index, consumption of salty foods and sugaryfood consumption associated with premenstrual syndrome on adolescents in Darul Hijrah PuteriHigh School.This research useful as a reference for future research on premenstrual syndrome.

Abstract

Pediculosis capitis is an infestation caused by pediculus humanus var. capitis and it is one ofhealth problem on children who lived in a dormitory. Unfortunately, recent research about thingscaused head louse is still limited. The objective was to determine the factors which hadcorrelation with pediculosis capitis incident in children who lived in dormitory. The method ofthis research used case control study, performed to girl students in SMP Pondok Pesantren on 09December 2015. Respondents were divided into 2 groups, case group (n=48) and control group(n=48). The examination of head louse was performed using tight-brush comb and patient’sresponse has written in checklist paper. The result there was no correlation between hair long(p=0,321), frequency of hair washing in a week (p=0,117), shared comb (p=0,301), shared towel(p=1,000), shared head cover (jilbab) (p=0,323), sleep habit or shared bed (p=0,784), andfrequency of changing bed cover once a week (p=0,268), with pediculosis capitis incident. It canbe concluded this study there was no correlation between factors with pediculosis capitisincidence, this happened maybe because of other factor like occupancy density.

Abstract

Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by infestations of Sarcoptes scabies. Healthpromotion behavior including of disease prevention behaviors which means avoiding diseasetransmission. The objective of this study was to determine the relationships between diseaseprevention behaviors and scabies incidence on students at saAl-Falah Putera’s boarding schoolBanjarbaru. The methods of this study was a retrospective study (case control study), toward theboarding students at the boarding school Al-Falah Putera’s Banjarbabaru. Respondents weredivided into 2 groups: the case group (n = 36) and control group (n = 36). The instrument usedin the form of a questionnaire the behavior of scabies disease prevention. The result of this studyshowed that behavioral scabies prevention of disease by not exchanging clothes and prayer toolsin both categories as many as 52 students (72.2%), not alternating towels in both categories areas many as 59 students (81.9%), and maintain the cleanliness of the beds in both categories asmany as 52 students (72.2%). The Results of Chi Square test related to scabies disease preventionbehaviors by not exchanging clothes and tools prayer, not alternating towel and maintain thecleanliness of the bed showed p= 0.792, p= 1.000, p= 0.066 respectively.

Abstract

Avoiding food containing gluten and casein is one of the efforts to reduce autistic behaviorsbecause the two substances can effect the central nerve system which leads to behavioralabnormality. The parents’ compliance with the diet should be consistent to improve the behaviors ofautistic children. The purpose of the study was to find out the relationship between the parents’compliance with gluten free and casein free diet and the behaviors of austistic children. This study wasan observational analytical research which employed cross sectional approach with a totalrespondents of 31 people and utilized purposive sampling method. This study was used Sprearman’sCorrelation test. The result of the study indicated that the correlation coefficient was 0,453 and thesignificance of research results was 0,010 it could be inferred that the relationship between theparents’ compliance with gluten free and casein free diet and the behaviors of autistic children hadmedium, significant and negative correlation (irrelevant). It was suggested that the parents’ shouldlook for the information about gluten free and casein free diet through mass media, seminars,talkshows, or trainings and apply gluten free and casein free diet to autistic children.

Abstract

Acute respiratory tract infection (ARI) is one of health problem in the world including in Indonesia.Many factors contribute to the high incidence of ARI, one of many factors is the duration ofbreastfeeding. Breast milk contains antibodies that protected babies from diseases. This study aimsdetermined there was a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and ARI among infants aged 6-12 months in Puskesmas Martapura’s working area. This research was quantitative researched withcase control design. The sample used simple random sampling in 77 cases and 77 control groupinfants aged 6-12 months. Case group were infants aged 6-12 months with ARI and control groupwere infants aged 6-12 months that didn’t experience ARI. Furthermore, researcher identificatedexclusive breasfeeding at respondents retrospectively. The result showed that infants who didn’texclusively breastfed have odd ratio 0.454 times (95% CI: 0.238 to 0.865) for experienced ARI thanexclusively breastfed infants, with a value of p=0.024. based on the results, it concluded that therewas a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and ARI among infants aged 6-12 months inPuskesmas Martapura’s working area. This research useful to be reference to next research about theimportance of exclusive breastfeeding promotion to prevent ARI in infants.
