Abstract

This study is concerned with the potentials of indigenous culinary businesses in several tourist areas in Bengkulu. Using a descriptive approach, we look at the development of culinary industry in the research locus aiming to find out the strategies applied by local culinary entrepreneurs to introduce their indigenous culinary so as to support the regional tourism development in general. Primary research data were collected through intreviews with tourists and culinary business owners at the research locus. Secondary research data were obtained from Bengkulu Regional Adminstration Office, Bengkulu Tourism Office, and Statistics Bureau of Bengku. These data were analyzed using SWOT analysis method

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) which are now better known as micro and small enterprises play an important role in the growth of the Indonesian economy. The company carries out a SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, and Threat) in determining marketing strategies. The respondents in this study are tofu producers, suppliers, consumers, governments, competitors and marketing institutions of Tahu Teguh Pribadi. Where this analysis consists of 2 analysis variables, namely an analysis of internal factors consisting of strengths and weaknesses, and external analysis consisting of opportunities and threats. The IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) matrix shows that the strength and weakness factors have a total score of 3.01. The EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy) matrix shows that opportunity and threat factors have a total value of 3.16. Based on the Cartesian diagram shows that Usaha Tahu Teguh Pribadi is in the Growth quadrant where the quadrant is a very favorable situation. S-O strategy (Strenght-Opportunity) then obtained the factor that must be maintained to be able to take the opportunities that are: Improving product quality by utilizing technological developments to maintain consumer trust and forming associations / unions of business entrepreneurs to maintain bargaining positions against suppliers. The W-O strategy (Weakness-Opportunity) obtained results, namely: Increasing sales volume through product diversification by utilizing culinary policies and improving the quality of human resources through programs from the government. S-T strategy (Great Strenght) shows results: Improving quality and maintaining product continuity with good production management to improve competitiveness. And can improve marketing efficiency by establishing W-T (Weakness-Threat) Strategy partnership relationship, namely: Use simple SOPsfor effectiveness and efficiency. As well as increasing capital and promotion networks through product packaging and increasing human resources

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of cultural factors, social factors, personal factors and psychological factors on consumer purchasing decisions at Mc.Donald's fast food in Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative research using 90 respondents. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire, the analytical method used is multiple linear regression, with validity test, reliability test, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing using t test and f test. Multiple regression results show the equation Y = 1.814 + 0.183X1 + 0.231 X2 + 0.293X3 + 0.177X4 The resulting regression direction is positive, meaning that the more cultural, social and personal and psychological variables increase, the purchasing decision will also increase. The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.730. This means that X1 (cultural), X2 (social), X3 (personal) and X4 (Psychological) have an influence on purchasing decisions (Y) by 53.2% while the remaining 46.8% is influenced by other variables that are not investigated in this study. Overall, the results of the t test have a significant value less than 0.05, so it can be interpreted that X1 (culture), X2 (social), X3 (personal) X4 (Psychological) have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions (Y) either partially or simultaneously

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine public perceptions about the tourism potential of the Waterfall in Bengkulu Province. By taking six waterfall tourism objects in three regencies namely North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Tengah Regency and Kepahing Regency, each regency has two waterfall ojek tourism objects studied. , where the assessment of perceptions concerns the accessibility to the waterfall, infrastructure supporting the accessibility of the waterfall, security of the location of the waterfall, promotion and marketing, the organization managing the object of the waterfall, the presence or absence of community economic activities, the presence or absence of the tourism industry, and environmental comfort including protocols health deter covid pandemic 19. This type of research is a survey research with quantitative and qualitative analytical descriptive methods, where the questionnaire as the main tool for data collection, data analysis uses an average distribution with measurement of 5-point Likert scale and frequency distribution with the help of SPSS software . The results showed that the public perception of the potential of the waterfalls studied at six locations of waterfalls that were examined were good. Based on the perception of the people studied, most respondents felt that the indicators were good, this certainly could be used as input for the local government in order to further improve the improvement indicators requested by the community. The results of this study can be used as a basis by decision makers in Bengkulu Province because most districts all have waterfall tourist destinations. This tourism potential cannot be ignored, especially in the New Normal Era, tourists prefer to be friends with nature.

Abstract

Human resources are an important factor in globalization to face competition among organizations. Leadership style can be defined as an individual ability to be able to organize, direct, motivate employees to be able to help run an organization. The quality of a leader can be recognized if he can influence, direct and improve employee performance in carrying out all assigned tasks. Rewards will usually be given to employees who have contributed to advancing the company in accordance with the standards set by management. The sample used in this research is 34 employees who have become Civil Servants at the DPRD Office of Seluma Regency. Data collection using a questionnaire and the method of analysis used is multiple regression. Before the regression test was carried out, the validity and readability test would be carried out on the data used in the study. From the hypothesis testing, it is found that the leadership style variable (X1) and the reward variable (X2) have a partially significant relationship to employee performance (Y). The amount of the determinant coefficient is 0.590, which means that the independent variables X1 and X2 will be able to influence the dependent variable Y by 59% while the remaining 41% is influenced by other variables outside of this study. While simultaneously the variables X1 and X2 have a simultaneous effect on variable Y

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy and position of the 1001 coffee brand and understand the market. The analysis used is SWOT analysis, BCG and Benchmarking. The results obtained, namely the results of the SWOT analysis, it is known that the main strategy for Kopi 1001 is the Growth strategy, where Kopi 1001 can increase sales with the advantages of its products and better use of promotions. BCG shows that Bengkulu City 1001 coffee is in a star position, which is in market share and high market growth. In this position, Kopi 1001 can implement a retrenchment strategy so that the business can survive in the face of competition from similar products. While the results of the benchmarking analysis show that 1001 coffee products have a distinctive robusta coffee taste and are safe for consumption, but product innovations need to be carried out that still maintain the characteristics of the coffee they have.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the influence of service quality and customer trust on customer satisfaction at Bank Bengkulu Branch Bintuhan. The data collection method used a questionnaire and the data analysis method used was the multiple linear regression analysis method using the SPSS program. The results of this study are the quality of service has a significant effect on the customer satisfaction variable of Bank Bengkulu Branch Bintuhan as indicated by the value of tcount > ttable (2.716> 1.66071) and a significant value < (0.05) (0.020 <0.05). For the customer trust variable, the tcount value is 2.221 and the ttable value is 1.66071 with a significance level of 5% with two directions, the tcount>ttable (2.221>1.66071) and the significant value < (0.05) (0.015<0 ,05). Simultaneously service quality and customer trust have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at Bank Bengkulu Branch Bintuhan, this can be seen from the results of the F test, namely F count > F table (14,863 > 3,090) or a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. .

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational commitment and organizational culture on employee performance. at the Seluma Regency DPRD Office. The sample in this study amounted to 35 employees at the Seluma Regency DPRD Office who have become government officers (ASN). The data was collected using a questionnaire, while the analytical methods used were multiple linear regression, determination test and hypothesis testing. The results of the regression analysis show Y = 1.501 + 0.380X1 + 0.603 X2 + e this describes a positive regression direction, meaning that there is a positive influence between X1 (organizational commitment) and X2 (organizational culture) on performance (Y). It means that if the variables of organizational commitment and organizational culture increase, it will increase performance. The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.590. This means that X1 (organizational commitment) and X2 (organizational culture) affect performance (Y) by 59% while the remaining 41% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The results of the t test at a significance level of 0.05 explain that partially organizational commitment variables and organizational culture have a significant influence on employee performance variables at the Seluma Regency DPRD Office. The results of the F test at a significance level of 0.05 explain that organizational commitment variables and organizational culture have a significant simultaneous influence on employee performance at the DPRD office of Seluma Regency because the significant value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of product completeness and price on purchasing decisions at Khiara Electronics Shop, West Seluma Sub-District. The sample in this study were 120 customers who made purchases at Khiara Electronics Shop, West Seluma Sub-District. The data collection used is a questionnaire and the method of analysis used is multiple linear regression, test of determination and hypothesis testing. The results of the regression analysis showed that Y = 9.338+ 0.308X1+ 0.477 X2+ e, this illustrates a positive direction of regression, meaning that there is a positive influence between X1 (product completeness) and X2 (price) on purchasing decisions (Y). Product completeness has a significant influence on purchasing decisions at Khiara Electronics Shop, West Seluma Sub-District. This is evidenced by a significant value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. Price has a significant influence on purchasing decisions at Khiara Electronics Shop, West Seluma Sub-District, this is evidenced by a significant value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. Product completeness and price simultaneously have a significant influence on purchasing decisions at Khiara Electronics Shop, West Seluma Sub-District, this is evidenced by a significant value of 0.000 is less than 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work environment on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency. Samples in the study were 106 employees as Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency. Collecting data using a questionnaire and the analytical method used is multiple linear regression, determination test and hypothesis testing. The results of the regression equation that is Y = 8.771- 0.332X1 + 0.470X2 + 3.085 means that the workload has a negative regression direction, if the workload increases then the performance will decrease. The work environment has a positive direction, meaning that if the work environment is better, the employee's performance will increase. The result of the determination test is 0.515 or (51.5%). This shows that the workload and work environment affect employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency by 51.5%, while the rest (100 - 51.5% = 48.5%) are explained or influenced by other variables not examined. work and work environment together have an influence on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency with a significant value of 0.000 less than 0.05. Workload has a negative and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency, because the significant value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. This illustrates that a high workload for employees at the Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency will reduce employee performance. The work environment has a positive and significant impact on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency, with a significant value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. This illustrates that a good work environment can improve employee performance.
