Abstract

Guru bimbingan dan konseling memiliki peran penting dalam upaya mensukseskan penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi. Kegiatan  bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan mengenai kerangka layanan bimbingan dan konseling bagi peserta didik dengan berkebutuhan khusus. Metode yang digunakan berupa ceramah, diskusi dan praktek penyusunan kerangka layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam konteks kebutuhan khusus. Sasaran pelatihan adalah guru bimbingan dan konseling. Langkah-langkah kegiatan pelatihan antara lain; pre test, penyampaian materi, diskusi, penugasan penyusunan kerangka layanan bimbingan dan konseling berkebutuhan khusus, post test dan evaluasi. Hasil pre test dan post test menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pada aspek kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan yang signifikan yaitu skor rata-rata pre test sebesar 56,76 % dan skor rata-rata post test sebesar 81,49 %. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman mengenai kerangka layanan siswa berkebutuhan khusus yang terdiri dari deteksi dini, konsultasi, kolaborasi dan konseling. Peserta memberikan umpan balik positif terhadap kegiatan dan mengharapkan kegiatan lanjutan berkaitan dengan aplikasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

The communication skills in counseling sessions can support the success of counseling. One of the basic counseling skills is listening skills. Through listening skills, the counselor can understand and interpret the message conveyed by the counselee. In addition, through listening to the counselor, it can provide an appropriate and proper response, hence, it increases trust, comfort, and provide support to the counselee to tell more about the problems they experienced.Listening is effective to help counselors display empathy built in the counseling process. In practice, listening to the counselor has some potential hindrances to listening, it includes 1) having preconceived notions about the client that interfere with the counselor's abil­ity to hear the client, (2) anticipating what the client is about to say and not actually hear­ing the client, (3) thinking about what you are going to say and therefore blocking what the client is saying, (4) having personal issues that interfere with your ability to listen, (5) having a strong emotional reaction to your client's content and therefore not being able to hear the client accurately, and (6) being distracted by such things as noises, tem­perature of the office, or hunger pains. In counselling skills, effective listening is one of the important skills to be developed as a basic ability to build throughout the counseling relationships and help to show empathy and provide the right respons.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental merupakan suatu hal yang yang mendasar dalam mewujudkan kesehatan masyarakat yang menyeluruh dan perlu menjadi perhatian bersama. Mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling memiliki latar belakang pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan mental sehingga memiliki kesempatan yang besar untuk berperan dalam meningkatkan kesehatan mental masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran aktualisasi diri mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling melalui komunitas kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Terdapat tiga subjek penelitian yang telah diwawancari secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ketiga subjek penelitian mampu mengenali, memahami, dan mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki melalui peran yang subjek jalani di komunitas kesehatan mental. Ketiga subjek merasakan bahwa komunitas yang diikuti memberikan banyak kesempatan kepada subjek untuk menagktualisasikan diri.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kompetensi profesional guru bimbingan dan konseling merupakan aspek penting yang membekali guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam memberikan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Salah satu kompetensi yang perlu ditingkatkan yaitu kemampuan guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam menyelenggarakan layanan konseling kelompok. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, penugasan dan simulasi. Hasil analisis dampak pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi layanan konseling kelompok dengan analisis kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa Guru bimbingan dan konseling memiliki minat yang tinggi dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Berdasarkan analisis penugasan ditemukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam merancang layanan konseling kelompok. Hasil analisis observasi dan wawancara setelah simulasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan dalam melaksanakan layanan konseling kelompok. Hasil analisis kuesioner evaluasi berkaitan tentang penyelenggaraan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan peserta merasa puas dan senang mengikuti pelatihan. Peserta mengharapkan adanya kegiatan lanjutan untuk memperdalam kemampuan menyelenggarakan layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Analysis of the Impact of Training for Competency Improvement in Group Counseling Services for High School Counseling Teachers in Sleman RegencyAbstract: The professional competence of guidance and counseling teachers is an important aspect that equips guidance and counseling teachers in providing guidance and counseling in schools. One of the competencies that need to be improved is the ability of guidance and counseling teachers in providing group counseling services. The methods used in this training are lectures, discussions, assignments and simulations. The results of the analysis of the impact of training on improving the competence of group counseling services with qualitative analysis indicate that guidance and counseling teachers have a high interest in participating in activities. Based on the assignment analysis, it was found that there was an increase in understanding and skills in designing group counseling services. The results of the analysis of observations and interviews after the simulation showed an increase in skills in implementing group counseling services. The results of the analysis of the evaluation questionnaire related to the implementation of the training show that the training participants were satisfied and happy to participate in the training. Participants expect further activities to deepen their ability to provide guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe prospective counselors’ perceptions of professional identity concepts in the guidance and counseling field. This study used a qualitative approach with an exploratory, descriptive design. Research data were collected through open questionnaires and focus group discussions. The data sources were fifteen guidance and counseling students from three different classes. Data analysis was carried out by searching for themes and determining the correlation between them to attain interpretation. The results of the study show that professional identity is conceptualized as a typical characteristic or a symbol of professional conduct in the profession of guidance and counseling. Meanwhile, the dimensions of professional identity according to students are categorized into professional competence, personality, personal appearance, knowledge of the profession, and professional ethos. Lastly, for the student, professional identity is something that moves dynamically. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi calon konselor terhadap konsep identitas profesional dalam bidang bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif eksploratif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terbuka dan diskusi kelompok terfokus. Sumber datanya adalah lima belas mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling dari angkatan yang berbeda. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengidentifikasi topik dan menentukan keterkaitan untuk mencapai interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa identitas profesional dikonseptualisasikan sebagai ciri khas atau simbol perilaku profesional dalam profesi bimbingan dan konseling. Sedangkan dimensi identitas profesional menurut mahasiswa dikategorikan terdiri dari kompetensi profesional, kepribadian, penampilan pribadi, pengetahuan profesi, dan etos kerja profesional. Selain itu, mahasiswa juga mempersepsikan identitas profesional bimbingan dan konseling merupakan sesuatu yang bergerak dinamis.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat burnout akademik mahasiswa saat pembelajaran daring. Jenis penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini yaitu 73 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen the copenhagen burnout inverntory student version dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis model RASCH. Nilai Alpha Cronbach yang mengukur interaksi antar item dan person adalah 0,90. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa data yang dimiliki sesuai dengan persyaratan pada pemodelan Rasch, sehingga instrument ini layak (reliabel) untuk digunakan. Pembelajaran daring yang dipersiapkan dengan baik dan menggunakan metode yang bervariatif dapat mencegah mahasiswa mengalami burnout akademik.

Abstract

Character is a pattern of behavior that is shown in the form of actions. The focus of character development is the formation of students' mindsets. Strive for students to be positive, responsible, and have good morals. Massenrempulu cultural values are symbols of nobility that are passed down from generation to generation. Mutual respect, courtesy and ethics are termed mataratte. Mataratte is loving and respecting each other, and saying good things. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of massenrempulu cultural value-based group guidance on the character of SMK students. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. This type of experimental research, the research model used is Pre-Experimental Designs which examines the application of massenrempul cultural value-based group guidance to improve student character. The experimental design used was One-Group Pretest-Posttest Designs. The population in this study were students of class X and XI at SMK Latanro Enrekang. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Based on the results of calculations using SPSS for windows through a paired sample t-test, there is a difference in the mean value after treatment which is higher than before being given treatment, with a value of t = 10.645 with df = 29. Price ttable at t 0.05 = 2.05 with a significant value (P) = 0.000 < α = 0.05. This means that the null hypothesis (Ho) which is "group guidance based on massenrempulu cultural values is not effective in improving student character is declared rejected. Hence, the working hypothesis (H1), namely "group guidance based on massenrempulu cultural values is effective in improving student character" is declared accepted. From the previous statement, it can be concluded that group guidance based on massenrempulu cultural values is effective in improving student character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran potensi diri siswa dan hubungannya dengan kesiapan kerja siswa SMK. Penelitian ini dilakukan penelitian studi kepustakaan dengan Teknik pengambilan data kajian Pustaka. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah jurnal online, buku modul, dan tulisan lembaga-lembaga pemerintah. Data-data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Metode analisis deskriptif dilakukan dengan cara mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta, menguraikan, memberikan pemahaman dan penjelasan secukupnya. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa potensi diri terhadap kesiapan kerja. Siswa dengan pemahaman potensi diri yang baik akan lebih siap bekerja atau memiliki kesiapan kerja yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the paradigm tendencies owned and practiced by school counselors in Indonesia. The study involved 233 school counselors in Indonesia on Sumatra, Java, and Bali islands. The research instrument reveals the counseling model that respondents use in providing counseling services (individual/group) and the reasons for its use. Statistics such as frequencies and percentages are used for quantitative data analysis. Qualitative data for reasons for specific counseling models were analyzed using Miles and Huberman data analysis. The results of this study show that school counselors most widely use behavior counseling models because they are effective in overcoming student behavior problems. This approach suits general needs and concerns and is easily understood with its techniques. The rational-emotive behavior therapy counseling model was chosen because it helps change mindsets to be more realistic and mature. This technique follows the needs and problems that arise and the development of adolescents who often act without consideration. Referring to Cotton's opinion, both models are counseling models that fall into the psychological paradigm. The tendency of school counselors to use psychological paradigms may be due to the psychology-focused counselor education curriculum, lack of resources or knowledge of other paradigms, and limitations of the school environment that encourage the use of traditional psychological approaches. School counselors must work with other school staff to integrate counseling approaches into the school program, which is essential. Professional organizations are expected to encourage training in behavioral counseling and REBT, supporting students' holistic education that includes academic, social, and emotional aspects.
