Abstract

The objective of this study to know there is do not it him difference of learning achievement between students who participate and who did not participate in Student Association Hima in the Departement of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, State University of. The place of research at Departement of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta in June-July 2012.This research uses survey methods with documentation.. The sample in this study a number of 60 students. The result of the research is found the difference of learning achievement between students who participate and who did not participate Hima in Civil Engineering. Matter of this means deciphrable research result that learning achievement from students who participate better than students who did not participate Hima in Civil Engineering

Abstract

This study aims to find a teacher who has certified competencies in enhancing student’s motivation in class grade XI building drawing engineering program in SMK 26 Jakarta. Place of research conducted in class grade XI building drawing engineering program year 2010/2011 in SMK 26 Jakarta. The research method is descriptive research method with a survey approach with 50 samples of student. Data increase student’s motivation is obtained through a questionnaire with Likert scale. The results showed that 34 grains obtained valid and true statement. The results of this study was obtained by converting the average score in the rating scale between 1 (very low) to 4 (very good), 4 indicators of interpretation has declared open communication among less well at 2.49, a prerequisite for 2.25, novelty at 2.34 and pleasant conditions of 2.50. Meanwhile, four other indicators of interpretation has expressed good enough for them meaningfulness 2.91, 2.80 for modeling, training / practice an active and useful for training are divided by 2.68 and 2.95. The conclusion of this study is overall of eight indicators that the parameters a certified teacher effort in improving student's motivation is still not meet the standards of good or satisfaction. Need to be repaired and enhanced the performance or the ability of teachers to teach in the process of teaching and learning activity in the classroom in order to produce a better quality of teaching and learning activity in the classroom and more satisfactory learning outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to Suitability Of The Stages PKM Activities Of Vocational Education Study Program Building Construction Students UNJ contained in the Guidebook of PKM UNJ. This research was conducted in Prodi Vocational Education Building Construction FT UNJ and SMK Negeri in Jakarta. The time of this study was conducted in February-March 2018. This research uses descriptive research with quantitative approach. Data collection tehniques used in this research is a questionnaire distributed to students who do PKM in the 106th semester and 107th semester, and interviews submitted to Tutor Teachers as a research data amplifier obtained from the questionnaire. The population in this research is 75 students who follow PKM in the 106th semester and 107th semester, for 42 Tutor Teachers. The sample is 65 students and 22 Tutor Teachers. Data analysis technique in this research is Descriptive Statistic. The results of this research shows that the implementation of PKM students Study Program of Vocational Education Building Construction is mostly in accordance with the stages of PKM activities , with a percentage of 65,21% in observation and orientation activies, 48,78% in guided teaching exercises, 61,79% at independent teaching exercises, 81,92% on exam preparation, and 86,93% on final exams and graduation students.

Abstract

The research aim to develop teaching materials for electronic module of soilmechanicssubject.ResearcherusingResearchandDevelopment(R&D)using Borg and Gall model which has been simplified by Sugiyono. This research conducted the steps of research and development: (1) Research and information collecting, (2) Planning, (3) Develop preliminary form of product, (4) Preliminary field testing, (5) Main product revision, (6) Main field testing, (7) Operation product revision, (8) Operational field testing, (9) Final product revision and (10) Dissemination and implementation. This research uses non-test instruments data collection techniques, namely questionnaires. Questionnaires were given to material experts and media experts to test the feasibility of teaching material for electronic module of soilmechanics. The results of the feasibility of teaching material for electronic module of soil mechanics subject is consists of 16 learning activities are as follows: a) Assessment by media experts gets 90,835% which is categorized as very good; b) Assessment by material experts gets 80,69% which is categorized as good. Based on the results of feasibility, can be concluded that of teaching material for electronic module of soil mechanics is appropriate and suitable for use as a variation for learning on soil mechanics subject by lecturer and students. Abstract

The purpose is to provide strengthening to vocational teachers regarding the scientific approach to 21st Century Learning. The results of previous research, which showed that 54.4% of teachers still used the lecture method in learning, meaning that teachers had not optimally carried out 21st century learning. This activity is carried out using the Zoom platform with materials 1) development of a scientific approach in 21st century learning and 2) Development of Cognitive, Affective, and Psychomotor Domains in 21st Century Learning. The pretest and post-test were conducted before and after the webinar. The results using the Wilcoxon test showed that significant differences in knowledge between before and after training. This showed that community service is able to increased teacher knowledge in the application of a scientific approach to 21st Century Learning.

Abstract

Students of the Building Engineering Education (PTB) study program, as prospective teachers of the Construction and Property Engineering Vocational School (TKP), need to master physics subject matter extensively and deeply. Hopefully, when they become teachers, vocational students can be interested in physics subjects. This study aims to produce an e-module for introductory physics courses for prospective TKP SMK teachers. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and uses the 4D development model, which consists of four main stages: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Feasibility assessment by media experts obtained a percentage of the validity of the e-module by 90% and included in the very feasible category in terms of media. The feasibility assessment by material experts obtained an average percentage of e-module validity data that is 82%, and it falls into the very feasible category in terms of material. The limited trial results showed that the mean score of participants during the pre-test was 64, and there was an increase to 89 after following the post-test. The results of the product user assessment obtained a value of 84.8 in the very feasible category. The results of validation tests and user responses concluded that the e-module for introductory physics courses is very suitable for teaching material for PTB students, prospective TKP vocational teachers.

Abstract

Beragam upaya peningkatan kualitas SMK telah tertuang dalam Inpres Nomor 9 Tahun 2016 Tentang Revitalisasi SMK dalam Rangka Peningkatan Kualitas dan Daya Saing Sumber Daya Manusia Indonesia. Upaya yang dimaksud di antaranya pembuatan peta jalan pengembangan SMK, pengembangan dan penyelarasan kurikulum. Selain itu, inovasi pemenuhan dan peningkatan profesionalitas guru dan tenaga pendidik, kerja sama sekolah dengan dunia usaha dan industri maupun perguruan tinggi, peningkatan akses sertifikasi lulusan dan akreditasi SMK, serta pembentukan kelompok kerja pengembangan SMK. Merujuk data BPS Kabupaten Bekasi bahwa tingkat pengangguran terbuka sebesar 10,97% tahun 2017 lebih besar dibandingkan secara nasional sebesar 5,5 pada tahun yang sama dan 5,3% tahun 2019. Jumlah siswa tahun 2019/2020 sebanyak 49.379 siswa SMU dan SMK sebanyak 60.805 siswa. Lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) tercatat paling tinggi di antara lulusan dari jenjang pendidikan lainnya. Kendala utama antara jumlah SMK dengan jumlah industri sangat jomplang. Keterbatasan guru juga jadi masalah hingga guru yang tidak menguasai bidang ajarannya yang pada akhirnya kualitas lulusannya mempunyai daya saing yang tidak kompetitif. Kualifikasi personil serta pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan menentukan tingkat keberhasilannya oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia (personil) yang berkualitas sesuai dengan kebutuhan lapangan. Sumber daya yang berkualitas akan mendorong perkembangan ekonomi sehingga masyarakat akan lebih sejahtera. Salah satu upaya ini yaitu dengan memberikan tambahan pengetahuan bagi lulusan SMK/SMU di Kabupaten Bekasi melalui pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dalam Penjadwalan Pemeliharaan Bangunan Gedung Sesuai Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor: 24/PRT/M/2008. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dalam bentuk pelatihan melalui metode ceramah dan diskusi. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk memberikan penjelasan kepada khalayak sasaran metode diskusi digunakan untuk berdiskusi dan tanya jawab dengan khalayak sasaran mengenai materi yang disampaikan. Kegiatan yang direncanakan pada periode Juli – Desember 2020 dengan pelaksanaan menggunakan daring/aplikasi “zoom cloud meeting” pada Sabtu, 12 September 2020. Jumlah peserta 67 orang. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan sesuai tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk “Peningkatan Kompetensi Lulusan Smk Melalui Pelatihan Penjadwalan Pemeliharaan Bangunan Gedung”, dari instrumen evaluasi 61 responden dari 67 peserta yang berasal dari 5 SMK dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) Mengenalkan kepada lulusan SMK/SMU tentang regulasi di industri konstruksi terkait dengan kompetensi penjadwalan untuk pemeliharaan dan perawatan gedung yaitu dengan cara pelatihan daring dari yang tidak tahu menjadi tahu meningkat antara 25% - 33%; dan (2) Gambaran penjadwalan untuk pekerjaan pemeliharaan dan perawatan gedung meningkat antara  12,5% sampai 23% atau terjadi penambahan 8-15 orang yang sudah bertambah pengetahuannya dari 61 responden.

Abstract

The purpose of this assistance is to provide a knowledge and practice basis for conducting authentic assessments and technical guidance in preparing and carrying out authentic assessments. Mentoring is done to improve the ability to conduct assessments, especially authentic assessments for teachers, so that teachers can understand and apply authentic assessments in the process of evaluating teaching and learning activities in schools. This place of assistance is at SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang, the time of assistance on August 4 to Sept 1, 2018 the method used in the activities of the event include lectures, brainstorming, question and answer, workshops, assignments and live demonstrations. The mentoring results show that 80% the teacher of SMK Negeri 4 Tangerang understands the concept of authentic assessment as indicated by the work of the teacher in the form of test and non-test instruments which are reported to refer to authentic evaluation models of authentic evaluation rubrics. The results of this assistance were immediately reported to the principal and witnessed by the school supervisor as a facilitator

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis e-modul pada matakuliah Fisika Dasar di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta, untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran, baik di dalam kelas maupun secara mandiri. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April 2020 - Agustus 2020. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model pengembangan 4D. Model pengembangan 4D terdiri dari empat tahap: Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate. Pengumpulan data melalui angket analisis kebutuhan, validasi bahan ajar oleh para ahli, dan menilai pengguna bahan ajar. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk bahan ajar berupa e-modul yang terdiridari 7 (tujuh) materi. Penilaian oleh ahli media diperoleh data pada persentase validitas e-modul 90%, termasuk kategori sangat layak. Penilaian oleh ahli materi diperoleh persentase rata-rata data validitas e-modul sebesar 82% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Hasil penilaian pengguna produk memperoleh nilai 4,24 dan kategori sangat baik, dan hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor peserta sebesar 39% setelah menggunakan e-modul.

Abstract

Technological developments require the world of education to carry out information technology-based learning. However, teachers' skills in using technology are still very limited. Training is needed to be able to improve teacher skills to face the demands and challenges of the times The Community Service Program held for vocational teachers aims to improve vocational school teachers’ skills regarding the application of edmodo and Quizizz in online learning. This community service is carried out by means of training and mentoring for 12 teachers of SMK 1 Cikarang. The results of this activity, skilled teachers apply Edmodo applications for learning and apply Quizizz applications to conduct assessments in learning. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk melalukan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi. Namun keterampilan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi masih sangat terbatas. Diperlukan pelatihan untuk dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru agar dapat menghadapi tuntutan dan tantangan perkembangan zaman. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru terkait penerapan edmodo dan Quizzi dalam pembelajaran daring. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi 12 guru-guru SMK 1 Cikarang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, guru terampil menerapkan aplikasi Edmodo untuk pembelajaran dan menerapkan aplikasi Quizizz untuk melakukan penilaian dalam pembelajaran Kata Kunci: Edmodo, Quizzi , pembelajaran daring
