Abstract

This research was conducted from December 2019 to March 2020, aimed atknow the ecological conditions, community structures and types of mangrove forest utilization in the mangrove ecotourism area of Gampong Baro, Setia Bakti District, Aceh Jaya Regency. Data collection was carried out through field surveys. This data analysis uses an important value index (IVI) which is a quantitative parameter that can reflect the role and structure of mangrove vegetation in a location. At the mangrove tree level, saplings and seedlings the Rhizophora apiculata had the highest value. Diversity index (H') is strongly influenced by individuals and the number of species. At the tree, sapling and seedlings level showed a moderate species diversity result. Dominance index (D) at the treel, tillers and seedling level can be categorized as moderate dominance and the environmental conditions are quite stable.

Abstract

Mud crab (Scylla spp.) is a fisheries commodity that is able to adapt strongly to mangrove forests and has a wide distribution area. The wide spread of mud crab is due to the fact that mud crab have a wide tolerance to abiotic factors, especially temperature and salinity. This study aims to determine the composition of the catch and the distribution pattern of mud crab (Scylla spp.) in the waters of the Gampong Tanjung Keramat River, Banda Mulia District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. Sampling was carried out randomly using purposive sampling method at three observation stations including Station 1 (mangrove ecosystem in the river mouth), Station 2 (in the middle of river in the mangrove ecosystem), and Station 3 (in the middle of the mangrove ecosystem). The results showed that the mud crab that were caught using traps consisted of one species, Scylla serrata, with the ratio of male and female mud crab yield is 1.5: 1 (6 males and 4 females). The body size of mud crab varies with the length range of male mud crab, namely 5.2 cm - 8.1 cm, the length of female mud crab is 5 cm - 7 cm. While the range of male mud crab widths is 6.7 cm - 9.6 cm, the width of female mud crab is 5 cm - 8.8 cm. The body weight of male mud crab is 80 g - 350 g, while the body weight of female crab is 90 g - 150 g. Distribution pattern of Scylla spp. located in 3 locations with 9 points of trap/ bubu operation spread over 3 stations. The distribution locations of mud crab are: mangrove ecosystem, river flow in the middle of mangrove ecosystem, and in the middle of river flow of mangrove ecosystem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Kutaraja kota Banda Aceh pada bulan Maret 2021. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dimana data primer dan sekunder menjadi dasar untuk menjelaskan kondisi permasalahan dan penyelesaiannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah armada purse seine terhadap ikan yang didaratkan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Kutaraja. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara data primer dan data skunder. Data primer dan data sekunder pada penelitian ini diperoleh berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan, dokumentasi dan wawancara (Interview). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan produksi ikan pada tahun 2016-2017 jumlah produksi ikan meningkat sebesar 4,30%, tahun 2017-2018 jumlah produksi ikan meningkat sebesar 27,35%, pada tahun 2018-2019 jumlah produksi ikan meningkat sebesar 14,92%, tahun 2019-2020 jumlah produksi ikan menurun 7,67%, Jumlah produksi ikan terendah di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera (PPS) Kutaraja  pada tahun 2016 dengan total jumlah produksi ikan 11.406 ton, dan jumlah produksi tertinggi pada tahun 2019 dengan jumlah produksi ikan  17.410 ton. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan jumlah armada kapal purse seine berpengaruh terhadap jumlah hasil tangkapan yang didaratkan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Kutaraja kota Banda Aceh. Saran dari penelitian ini perkembangan jumlah armada purse seine di PPS Kutaraja di tingkatkan secara perlahan dengan pantauan pemerintah agar hasil tangkapan ikan  tidak terjadi over fishing

Abstract

Ikan nila memiliki laju pertumbuhan yang cepat dan dapat mencapai bobot tubuh yang jauh lebih besar dengan tingkat produktivitas yang cukup tinggi (Aliyas et al., 2016). Permintaan  pasar ikan nila internasional maupun domestic cukup tinggi (Indah & Dheny,2020). Namun, selama masa pandemi Covid-19 permintaan terhadap benih maupun ikan nila konsumsi mengalami penurunan.Pandemi Covid-19 memberi dampak yang sangat berpengaruh pada pendapatan pelaku usaha budidayaikan di Aceh Tengah. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, pengisian formulir dan dokumentasi. Usaha pembenihan ikan nila di Aceh Tengah mengalami penurunan pendapatan dalam penjualan. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena adanya perbedaan signifikan pendapatan usaha pembenihan selama Pandemi Covid-19 dari sebelum Pandemi Covid-19. Hasil rata-rata pendapatan  yang diperoleh pelaku usaha pembenihan ikan sebelum Pandemi Covid-19 adalah Rp. 26.232.000 pertahun, tetapi saat Pandemi Covid-19 melanda Indonesia khususnya Kabupaten Aceh Tengah, rata-rata pendapatan menurun menjadi Rp. 23.069.000 pertahun. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwaterjadi penurunan pendapatan saat Pandemi Covid-19 dari sebelum Pandemi Covid-19 sebesar 4,5 % .Hasil perhitungan nilai Revenue Cost Ratio dalam  analisa kelayakan usaha adalah R/C > 1 maka dinyatakan layak melakukan usaha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang makrozobentos sebagai bioindikator kualitas air pada kawasan budidaya tambak daerah pantai Alue Naga Kecamatan Syiah Kuala Kota Banda Aceh yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2022. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah; 1) Mengetahui tingkat pencemaran atau kualitas perairan dikawasan Pantai Alue Naga 2) Mengetahui keanekaragaman makrozoobentos yang menjadi bioindikator kualitas perairan pada kawasan Budidaya tambak Pantai Alue Naga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling dengan visualisasi secara langsung pada 3 stasiun. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus Kepadatan makrozoobentos, indeks keanekaragaman (H’), indeks keseragaman (E), dan Indeks dominasi (D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepadatan jenis berkisar 0,33-391 ind/m², Keanekaragaman makrozoobenthos pada kisaran nilai 0,07-1, Keseragaman  diperoleh nilai 0,04-0,23, dan dominasi dengan nilai 1. Kesimpulan dari penelitian berdasarkan indeks keanekaragaman makrozoobenthos di kawasan budidaya tambak pantai Alue Naga termasuk dalam kriteria tercemar berat stasiun 1 dan tercemar sedang stasiun 2 dan 3. Berdasarkan indikator makrozoobentos menunjukan ketiga stasiun berada ditingkatan tercemar sedang. Kata kunci : Keanekaragaman, Makrozoobentos, Bioindikator.

Abstract

Aceh has a large potential for inland public water resources. One of the important inland waters is Krueng Aceh, Krueng Aceh is a river located in Aceh Province that originates at Cot Seukek, Aceh Besar District, passes through the city center (Peunayong) and empties into Lampulo, Banda Aceh City. The diversity of invasive fish in the inland waters of Krueng Aceh was carried out with the aim of identifying the types of invasive fish and to determine the diversity of invasive fish in the waters of Krueng Aceh as basic data in the management of inland common water resources. The research used a purposive sampling technique at sample points taken at 4 (four) points on the mainland of Krueng Aceh. Station 1 is located in Aneuk Galong Village, Station 2 is located in Bakoy Village, Station 3 is located in Pango Raya Village, Station 4 is located in Peunayong Village. The research results show that there are 9 types of fish in the public waters of the Krueng Aceh mainland which are dominated by baung fish. The station with the highest diversity results is station III located in Pango Raya which uses 4 types of fishing gear commonly used in the public waters of the Krueng Aceh mainland and gill net fishing gear is the most effective fishing gear used.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of degradation and depreciation of the Layaran fishery in the North Coast of Aceh. The method used in this research includes stock assessment using the Clarke Yoshimoto Pooley (CYP) Bioeconomic model to assessing the degradation and depreciation that has occurred in the Layaran fishery. The estimated production value of the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) is 4.63 tonnes per year which is greater than the actual production value of 3.33 tonnes per year and the MSY effort value is 36,642 trips per year which is greater than the actual effort 16,972 trips per year show that there has not been overfishing in the Layaran fishery, both in terms of production and fishing effort. Sailfish fisheries during the period 2009 to 2017 were also still in a non-degraded and depreciated condition as indicated by the coefficient values of the Degradation and Depreciation rates which were lower than the standard coefficient values with each value of 0.32 for the Degradation rate and 0.26 for the Depreciation rate.
