Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of interactive learning multimedia based on cognitive load theory (CLT) in the fifth grade of elementary school. This type of research is research and development (R & D). The methods of collecting the data in this research were questionnaires, and interviews. This questionnaire is used to determine the response of students after using interactive multimedia based on CLT. Meanwhile this interview was conducted to find out the responses, comments, and suggestions of teachers and students after using interactive multimedia based on CLT. The validity of the results of the validation data analysis from this material expert was 87.50% and the validity of the validation data from this media expert was 85.71%. It shows that the material in CLT-based learning multimedia is valid and ready to be implemented. And the average questionnaire score at SDN 3 Taman was 88.27%, so the results of the questionnaire were declared good. The advantages of this CLT-based interactive learning multimedia are this multimedia display is very interesting, the material is presented more interesting, and the menus that are presented are easy to understand.

Abstract

Many students in elementary school make mistakes when solving math problems, especially misconceptions. This is caused by a lack of mathematical material understanding, students are lazy to open mathematics books or notes, and students are lazy to do assignments given by the teacher. This study aims to analyze the mistakes of fifth grade elementary school students in solving HOTS math’s problems based on Newman. This type of research in this research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques include tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, the mistakes made by fifth grade students of SDN 02 Mojorejo Kota Madiun were reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skill errors, and answer errors. end (encoding error). The most frequent mistakes made were misunderstanding and process skills errors. Some of the factors that cause students to make mistakes are students who are not familiar with HOTS math problems, students do not write down what is known and asked from the questions, lack of mastery on the material of volume shapes, and students are not careful in answering math questions

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas media macromedia flash terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas V SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksperimen. pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VA dan VB SDN Sawahan yang berjumlah 38 siswa. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan peneliti adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes uraian. Hasil penelitian ini dihitung dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh hasil bahwa thitung = 6,85 dan ttabel = 1,666571 sehingga ttabel < thitung maka Ho ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa media macromedia flash efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas V SD.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematical cognitive abilities in integer arithmetic operations through the use of lego bricks for fifth grade students of SDN 02 Winongo Madiun. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles and each cycle is carried out twice. The research subjects were all fifth grade students totaling 17 SDN 02 Winongo Madiun. The research data were collected through observation, written tests in the form of pretest and posttest and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Lego brick media can improve the cognitive ability of mathematics in integer arithmetic operations. This increase was marked by an increase in the number of students with test scores that exceeded the KKM, with scores between 70 and 100.With an increase in percentage of 35.5% of students who scored above the KKM, from 41.17% of students who scored in the KKM to 76, 14%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar siswa sekolah dasar dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS matematika berdasarkan Teori Newman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dekriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas V SDN Gerih 1 Ngawi sebanyak 23 siswa. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes soal uraian dan hasil dari wawancara siswa yang dianalisis secara kuaitatif. Hasil skor tes siswa dikelompokkan menjadi tiga terdiri dari siswa berkemampuan tinggi (nilai tes antara 86-100), siswa berkemampuan sedang (nilai tes antara 70-85), dan siswa berkemampuan rendah (nilai tes antara 0-69). Selanjutnya untuk wawancara, peneliti memilih secara purposive satu siswa dari masing-masing kategori yang sudah dikelompokkan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat 4 siswa kemampuan tinggi, 10 siswa kemampuan sedang dan 9 siswa kemampuan rendah. Indikator kesalahan menurut teori Newman yaitu membaca, memahami soal, transformasi, keterampilan proses serta proses penyelesaian. Hasil pengerjaan siswa ditemukan adanya kesalahan yang berbeda-beda dari setiap subjek.THE DIFFICULTIES OF ELEMENTARY’S STUDENTS LEARNING IN COMPLETING HOTS MATHEMATICS  PROBLEMS BASED ON NEWMAN’S THEORYAbstract: This study aims to describe the learning difficulties of elementary school students in solving mathematics HOTS questions based on Newman's Theory. This research is a descriptive research. The subjects in this study were 23 students of class V SDN Gerih 1 Ngawi. Data in the form of test results and student interviews were analyzed qualitatively. The results of student test scores are grouped into three consisting of high-ability students (test scores between 86-100), medium-ability students (test scores between 70-85), and low-ability students (test scores between 0-69). Furthermore, for the interview, the researcher purposively selects one student from each of the grouped categories. The results of this study were 4 high-ability students, 10 medium-ability students and 9 low-ability students. Indicators of error according to Newman's theory are reading, understanding, transformation, process skills and finishing process. The results of student work found that there were errors that differed for each subject.

Abstract

Guru memiliki peran yang penting dalam proses belajar-mengajar di kelas. Peningkatan keterampilan mengajar dan profesionalisme seorang guru masih harus terus ditingkatkan seiring dengan perkembangan jaman dan perkembangan teknologi. Keterampilan yang harus dimiliki guru yaitu memberikan pertanyaan, mengelola kelas, variasi dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran, dan sebagainya. Dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar di kelas, banyak guru di sekolah dasar hanya mengajar dengan mGuru memiliki peran yang penting dalam proses belajar-mengajar di kelas. Peningkatan keterampilan mengajar dan profesionalisme seorang guru masih harus terus ditingkatkan seiring dengan perkembangan jaman dan perkembangan teknologi. Keterampilan yang harus dimiliki guru yaitu memberikan pertanyaan, mengelola kelas, variasi dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran, dan sebagainya. Dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar di kelas, banyak guru di sekolah dasar hanya mengajar dengan metode tanya jawab, ceramah, dan pemberian tugas. Dan juga masih banyak guru yang belum menggunakan media pembelajaran yang berbasis TIK. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu berbentuk kegiatan workshop. Kegiatan workshop pembelajaran TIK ini dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dengan peserta adalah guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Kartoharjo. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan workshop ini, guru Sekolah Dasar dapat mengaplikasikan pembelajaran yang terkini yaitu pembelajaran TIK dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas. Dengan media pembelajaran yang didesain dengan menarik dan dilengkapi dengan sound, diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi, meningkatkan presetasi belajar siswa, dan semakin semangat dalam belajar semua materi pelajaran.etode tanya jawab, ceramah, dan pemberian tugas. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara model PBL berbantuan media interaktif dengan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 23 siswa kelas V SDN Banjarejo Madiun. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket dan dokumentasi. Instrumen angket sebelumnya di uji kelayakannya dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 25 For Windows. Untuk mengetahui siswa termotivasi dalam belajar, peneliti menggunakan angket dengan hasil penghitungan uji regresi sederhana yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat adanya hubungan antara media PBL berbantuan media interaktif dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan pada hasil signifkansi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 dan nilai t hitung > t tabel (5,706 > 2,079), maka dapat diperoleh kesimpulannya adalah terdapat hubungan antara model PBL berbantuan media video interaktif dengan motivasi belajar siswa

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject where the experience of solving problems using methods or formulas will help students build knowledge and concepts. The problem faced by third-grade elementary school students is that they are less motivated to solve mathematics through the methods or formulas given by the teacher. They have not been able to enjoy the process of solving problems, which makes their knowledge less meaningful. This has an effect on low math learning outcomes. The research was done to determine the implementation of the project-based learning model to improve the mathematics learning outcomes for third-grade students at SDN I Gegeran. This type of research used classroom action research (PTK), which includes two cycles. The research subjects were taken by students of class III at SDN I Gegeran. The results of the data analysis showed that the learning outcomes of students at the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II stages had increased. In the pre-cycle, an average of 69 was obtained. It experienced an increase of 77 in cycle I and increased significantly to 86 in cycle II. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the project-based learning model can improve the mathematics learning outcomes for third-grade students at SDN I Gegeran.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the increase in mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students by using a media-based PBL model. This research is a classroom action research. As data symbols, namely teachers and students. This research using interview techniques, observation, and tests for collecting data study. The method used in analyzing the data in this study is descriptive qualitative and descriptive comparative. The learning steps with the PBL model are: (1) student orientation to problems, (2) organizing students to learn, (3) guiding students in learning, (4) presenting work, (5) analyzing and evaluating the results of solving problem. So that there was an increase in mathematics learning outcomes starting from the pre-action test 69.73 and experienced an increase in cycle I to 74.47 then in cycle II it increased to 82.36.

Abstract

Teachers must model critical thinking skills and dispositions in front of their students. This is useful for helping students develop their critical thinking skills. Inquisitiveness is one part of the critical thinking disposition that teachers need to have. However, there is still very little research investigating the readiness of prospective teachers in critical thinking dispositions, especially inquisitiveness. This research is intended to determine the level of curiosity of prospective elementary school teachers. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method, case study type, data, and data sources obtained from 20 prospective elementary school teacher informants in Madiun. Four indicators of inquisitiveness were identified from this case study: Asking questions, seeking information, feeling interested, and final investigation/evaluation. The curiosity of most primary school teacher candidates has not met the four indicators. Few fulfill only one indicator, namely seeking information, and very rarely fulfill three indicators. It can be concluded that prospective elementary school teachers do not yet have the disposition to think critically, especially inquisitiveness. There is a need to improve teacher education learning to improve their students' critical thinking skills and dispositions.
