Abstract

Teachers would work professionally when they have high work motivation because it is such a mental boost that comes from inside and outside of themselves which help to carry out the task of achieving the goals / objectives that have been set with full of awareness and responsibility. The aims of this study are to determine the effect of: participatory leadership, toward teachers’ work motivation partially and simultaneously. This study used quantitative approach. Among 287 populations of public junior high school teachers in Pemalang district, 167 respondents were chosen using the proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis, classic assumption test and regression test using SPSS version 17 for Windows. The results shows that (1) simple regression test for variable X on Y obtained the correlation value (r) = 0.915, meaning that the correlation was incredibly strong, with Adjusted R2 = 0.837, meaning that the influence of participatory leadership on teachers’ work motivation is 83.7% and remaining at 16,3% accounting teacher performance is determined by factors other than research.Keywords: Participatory Leadership, Teachers’ Work Motivation

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of students in the learning process of multivariate statistics courses. In the matter of data input practice, data output, and data interpretation. Students tend to only follow lectures and are less active in asking questions. Students are less active in looking for additional material beyond the material taught by the lecturer. The research method uses a qualitative case study type approach. The research object consisted of 23 students who took multivariate courses, the Chair of the Study Program and a lecturer in Economic Education. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are multivariate statistical learning courses performed well. The process of teaching and learning activities prioritize student activity as evidenced by the practice carried out in each lecture. The Submission of material is done using English. Student activeness is still lacking because students are less active in asking questions. Student motivation tends to be low in finding information about lecture material that has been taught or will be taught. The conclusion of this study is that discipline, commitment, and encouragement from within students are important. Personal motivation affects more activeness. This research has implications as a contribution to lecturers in order to be able to increase encouragement from within students in order to increase activity in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan adanya pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja, secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama, terhadap kinerja guru SD negeri di Kecamatan Comal Kabupaten Pemalang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan survey yang bersifat explanatory. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert yang telah teruji keabsahannya terbukti valid dan stabil. Pengujian prasarat analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, heteroskedasitas, dan linearitas menunjukkan persyaratan telah terpenuhi. Hasil uji F hitung 120,311 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,0000,05, berarti ada pengaruh signifikan dan positif gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Dari uji parsial, diperoleh nilai signifikansi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional 0,001, motivasi kerja 0,000, dan kepuasan kerja 0,000 0,05, berarti gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja masing-masing berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja guru. Hal ini menunjukkan semua hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima, artinya ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama, terhadap kinerja guru.AbstractThis study aims to prove the influence of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the performance of elementary school teachers in Comal District, Pemalang Regency. This is a quantitative study using a cross sectional approach and an explanatory survey. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and is proven valid and stable. The results of the analysis prerequisite test including normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity show that the requirements have been fulfilled. The result of the F test count is 120.311 with a significance value of 0.0000.05, meaning that there is a significant and positive effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance. Partial test shows that the significance value of transformational leadership style is 0.001, work motivation is 0.000, and job satisfaction is 0.0000.05, meaning that transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction have a significant and positive effect on teacher performance, respectively. It shows that all hypotheses in this study are acceptable, which means that there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the teachers’ performance.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a transformational leadership model design in school financing management. This type of research is Research and Development with 4D steps (Define, Design, Development and Dissemination). The technique of collecting data from interviews, observations, documentation is concluded as factual designs. The development stage of designing a transformational leadership model in school financing management is validated by educational experts and practitioners through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), into internal tested product designs not field tested. The results of preliminary research obtained visualization of the factual model of Top Down leadership in school financing management. The development stage obtained the results of the visualization of transformational leadership models in school financing management. The results of the validation and assessment of the two education experts (FGD) obtained a value of 46 percent of 95.83% of the interpretation of "very feasible", while the results of the validation and assessment of five education practitioners obtained a score of 101 percentage of 84.16% of the interpretation of "very feasible". So Expert 1 and Expert 2 agree that a transformational leadership model in school financing management is “very feasible” and tested. The principal should implement a transformational leadership model in school financing management so that the principles of participation, transparency and accountability are implemented. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan rancangan model kepemimpinan transformasional dalam manajemen pembiayaan sekolah. Jenis penelitian Research and Development dengan langkah 4D (Define, Design, Development and Dissemination). Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi disimpulkan sebagai desain faktual. Tahap pengembangan merancang model kepemimpinan transformasional dalam manajemen pembiayaan sekolah divalidasi pakar dan praktisi pendidikan melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD), menjadi desain produk teruji internal tidak di uji lapangan. Hasil penelitian pendahuluan diperoleh visualisasi model faktual kepemimpinan Top Down dalam manajemen pembiayaan sekolah. Tahap pengembangan diperoleh hasil visualisasi model kepemimpinan transformasional dalam manajemen pembiayaan sekolah. Hasil validasi dan penilaian dari dua pakar pendidikan pada (FGD) diperoleh nilai 46 persentase 95,83% interpretasi “sangat layak”, sedangkan hasil validasi dan penilaian dari lima praktisi pendidikan diperoleh skor 101 persentase 84,16% interpretasi “sangat layak”. Maka Pakar 1 dan Pakar 2 menyetujui model kepemimpinan transformasional dalam manajemen pembiayaan sekolah “sangat layak” dan teruji. Kepala Sekolah sebaiknya mengimplementasikan model kepemimpinan transfomasional dalam manajemen pembiayaan sekolah agar terselenggara prinsip partisipasi, transparansi dan akuntabel.

Abstract

Sekolah hijau merupakan bagian dari Program Adiwiyata yang bertujuan untuk memelihara dan membangun kondisi sekolah yang hijau dan sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen sekolah hijau di SD Negeri 05 Beji Kabupaten Pemalang.  Metode penelitian dalam kajian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif.  Subyek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, staf, siswa, orang tua wali, dan masyarakat sekitar sekolah.  Obyek penelitian yaitu situasi sosial yang menunjukkan manajemen sekolah hijau. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Uji Keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi teknik.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sekolah hijau mencakup kebijakan sekolah berwawasan lingkungan, kurikulum berbasis lingkungan, kegiatan berbasis partisipatif, dan pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung ramah lingkungan sudah terinternalisasi dengan baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kegiatan: (1) perencanaan sekolah hijau dilaksanakan dengan memuat aspek pendidikan lingkungan hidup dan melibatkan masyarakat sekitar dalam memberikan pertimbangan dan masukan, (2) pengorganisasian dilakukan dengan pembentukan tim koordinator sesuai dengan program kerja dan peran serta fungsi masing-masing, (3) pelaksanaan diwujudkan dengan adanya berbagai kebijakan dan program kegiatan, pembelajaran terintegrasi lingkungan hidup, peningkatan partisipasi warga sekolah, sarana dan prasarana yang mencukupi dan mendukung pendidikan lingkungan hidup, (4) pengendalian dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan evaluasi dan monitoring yang dilakukan secara rutin dalam bentuk peraturan terulis, teguran lisan, imbauan, pembinaan, maupun pemberian penghargaan.

Abstract

Inquiry is a core of  science learning. One of the factors of success in learning in the classroom is determined by the existence of learning tools that are appropriate to the learning objectives. This study aims to determine the extent of the feasibility of inquiry learning devices at the junior high school level to drive science process skills. The research method uses descriptive quantitative. Data analysis was performed on the results of the validator using content validity. As 2 expert validators came from 2 different colleges and one from school practitioners. Validated learning tools consist of lesson plan, teaching materials, and assessment. Lesson plan developed using inquiry learning model with OMGVA syntax (observation-manipulation-generalization-verivication-application). Validation method uses the Aiken model. The results obtained show that all learning devices are valid with a range of 0.8 and 1 values, meaning that inquiry learning devices can be used to train process skills in junior high school level.

Abstract

Salah satu usaha mikro adalah usaha mikro industri konveksi. Pemilik konveksi mengelola sumber daya manusia, mengelola keuangan, mengelola produksi, dan mengelola pemasaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis implementasi sistem administrasi pada usaha mikro industri konveksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemilik, karyawan dan konsumen usaha mikro industri konveksi di Desa Somosari Kecamatan Batealit Kabupaten Jepara. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancacara dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model teknik analis interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Implementasi sistem administrasi usaha mikro industri konveksi di Desa Somosari sudah terealisasi dan berjalan sistematis, tetapi masih ada juga yang belum sistematis karena pencatatnya hanya diketahui oleh pemiliknya saja.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah penyebaran Covid-19 adalah belajar dari rumah. Pembelajaran online merupakan alternatif untuk meerapkan pembelajaran dari rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran online, penggunaan aplikasi yang sesuai dalam pembelajaran online dan kelebihan serta hambatan dalam penerapan pembelajaran online pada masa pandemic Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengambilan data dengan dokumentasi dan wawancara. Informaan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa sejumlah 128 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil Penelitian sampak dari Pandemic Covid-19 salah satunya adalah meniadakan perkuliahan secara langsung. Perkuliahan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran online aplikasi yang sering digunakan dalam perkuliahan online adalah Google Clasroom, Zoom, Whatshap, Slack, Schoology, Google Clasroom, Zoom, Whatshap, Slack, Schoology, Youtube, Quizizz, Edmodo dan menggunakan aplikasi SIP (Sistem Informasi Perkuliahan) Universitas PGRI Semarang. Kelebihan pembelajaran online dimasa pandemic covid- 19 adalah mempermudah mahasiswa dan dosen tetap melaksanakan perkuliahan meskipun tidak bertemu secara langsung. hambatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran online diantaranya adalah sinyal jaringan internet yang kurang stabil, hal ini dikarenakan sebagian mahasiswa sedang berada dirumah yang tergolong masih pedesaan dengan fasilitas jaringan internet yang belum maksimal. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran online sebesar 46,9% menjawab membantu memahami materi perkuliahan. Sebesar 39,1% menjawab pembelajaran online dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, hanya sebesar 21,6% mahasiswa menjawab pembelajaran online berjalan efektif. aplikasi yang dianggap efektif dalam pembelajaran online adalah google classroom, whatsap dan SIP. Pembelajaran online memiliki kelebihan dan hambatan dalam pelaksanaanya

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's policies, teacher efforts and student efforts in improving learning achievement. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection instruments used interview guidelines, observation sheets and documentation. Test the validity of the data using technical triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman interactive analysis: data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the research include: Schools in collaboration with DUDI (Industrial World Business) in accordance with expertise competencies; Principal's policy to increase accreditation; Principals provide guidance and training to teachers in accordance with the areas of competence being taught; Principal conducts academic evaluation and supervision; Teachers participate in training and IHT activities; The teacher conducts a survey of students; Teachers provide training, coaching and motivation to students; Teachers use digital media such as Canva to train students' skills; Students participate in training and coaching activities in entrepreneurship activities; Students listen and understand the material explained by the teacher; Students work on and submit assignments on time.

Abstract

Setyaji, Rofi 2021. "The Influence of the Role of the Head as a Leader and Organizational Culture on Teacher Job Satisfaction in the Private MA of Pekalongan City". Thesis. Advisor I Dr. Noor Miyono, M.Si. And Advisor II Dr. Endang Wuryandini, M.Pd.                    The background of this research is teacher dissatisfaction in working at the Private MA of Pekalongan City. The aims of this study were: (1) to determine the effect of the role of the principal as a leader on teacher job satisfaction (2) to determine the effect of organizational culture on teacher job satisfaction (3) to determine the effect of the role of the principal and organizational culture together with job satisfaction. teacher work.                    The population of this study were all teachers of the Private MA of Pekalongan City, totaling 109 people, with a sample of 86 people using proportional random sampling. The data collection method used is the questionnaire method. The data analysis used is descriptive data analysis, prerequisite test and hypothesis testing which includes simple linear regression analysis, as well as multiple linear regression.                    The results of the research are expressed by the equation Y = 21,235 + 0,830 X1 ; correlation strength of 0.821 with a contribution of 0.674 or 67.4%. There is an influence of organizational culture on teacher job satisfaction which is expressed by the equation Y = 18,874 + 0,831X2; correlation strength of 0.837 with a contribution of 0.71 or 70.1%. There is an effect of the role of the principal and organizational culture together on teacher job satisfaction which is expressed by the equation Y = 12.114 + 0.397X1 + 0.498 X2; correlation strength is 0.862 with a contribution of 0.743 or 74.3%. Keywords: the role of the principal as a leader, organizational culture, and teacher job satisfaction.
